661  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Autobump-bot from Bitzard || No PHP || Multiple forums || VirusScan on: January 05, 2017, 05:27:02 AM
With your bot, do I need to have my web browser open for it to work?

No, you do not have to keep your web browser open. When the time that you set comes (period), it automatically opens, does its job then closes an instance of your web browser. Actually, you can choose whether you want to run the latter in a foreground or a background process. Between periods, you do not have to keep your web browser open in any way.

I have seen this bot during it's development and I can say that it works just as promised. It also looks fairly nice (which might be an important thing to some people) and it is extremely fast and completely stable. I have nothing bad to say about this bot or it's staff/coders!

They have my vouch.  Grin

Thank You for your review! I was analyzing what other bots were missing and what community members were asking for and was planning to put them into this software from the start. Also, I used the most effective practices based on my other projects when developing this bot. I feel glad to see I am not the only one who thinks that we succeeded with it.

@codex, you may wanna add this to the thread l8r.

Yeah, Thank You for recording the video! I am making place for it now.

EDIT: Thread was updated with video
663  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Bump Bot : Automatically bumps your topic to keep it on top on: January 04, 2017, 07:33:46 AM
Even though now it became a competing product of ours, I keep no hate against it. What is more, I encourage people to use an autobump-bot of your preference in order to keep the bumping rules of the site. Taking care of periods when you have many threads or a busy life is very painful, why don't you let one of these bots take care of it for you?

I am a very happy customer - 4 real Smiley

Description of the product:

Why would I need this bot?
Being active on more than one forum is a pain in the ass, to be honest.
With this bot, you could always bump your thread to the top without having to spend time on doing it yourself.

Is it even allowed?
Yes, it is 100% allowed according to the rules of Bitcointalk. The software automatically deletes old bumps and place the news according to the rules of the site.

How is it different than all the other autobump-bots?
Of course, it knows everything what other autobump-bots and it knows much more.

List of features:

- Autodeleting old bumps
- Placing new bumps
- Supporting custom bumps
- Custom bumping/deleting time-period
- Multi-threaded
- Takes privacy seriously: reads in cookies instead of plain password
- No need for PHP to be installed
- 100% from scratch, does not need other APIs
- Supports both current and next forum software
- Works with most of the other forums too

FAQ
In this section I am collecting useful information for customers based on questions of other customers

How to configure the bot safely? Based on the following feedback:

Hi.
I ran your bot and it delete my last post on my thread which was a reply to someone.

I am sorry for your loss :/ I feel glad because you could overcome it. I think, I will explain it here because it could come helpful to other customers too. The cleanest solution and recommended method is to create a new account on the forum that you use to BUMP ONLY. You will BUMP WITH YOUR NEW ACCOUNT and delete bumps of that account so you will not accidentally delete replies due to a wrong config. Also, it is a best practice that experienced sellers use too. Nevertheless, you can post the sales threads and replies that you want to keep with your original account.

How to use the autobump-bot for multiple threads? Based on the following feedback:

Also how would one use this to multi thread.

The bot supports multiple threads. To configure it for multiple threads, it is hilariously easy. Just create as many folders as many threads you would like to use it for and copy the files from the original autopost folder to each new folder then replace the URLs in each new folder's .txt with a thread's URL. The same goes for delete if you wish. Then do the steps in HowToSetPeriod.txt for each .exe copy to set it. In this way, you could set unique time periods for each thread and auto-deleting is optional as you may wish to use the bot to time important announcements. For further help, please follow the instructions in the attached .txt files! For further-further help, feel free to PM me (:

Do I have to keep my web browser open for it to work? Based on the following feedback:

With your bot, do I need to have my web browser open for it to work?

The video was intentionally recorded from opening the browser otherway you wouldn't see anything. In practice, you do not have to keep your browser open in any way. The software is creating its own instance from your browser when the time comes and even then you could completely hide GUI with a setting.

I am organizing a small team from brave fellows in our community.
If earning respect (and success) motivates You and You are interested in either of the mentioned areas, I will hear your enter, with gladness.

We want to dedicate our work for researching in cybersecurity. Offensive and defensive as well. Our jobs include exploring exploits in crypto products, communication with the clients to find & fix security weaknesses and many more. Not a miracle that such an important work necessitates dedicated IT tools. So, We will discover and learn the usage of these tools (e.g.: Kali Linux) and develop our own tools if we cannot find better (e.g.: A lot of bots). As a member You will have free access to them. Your work with Us, if you wish to join, will include a various range from cyber security and crypto. You will use the most advanced technologies that are legally available and You will get to know crypto from totally new aspects.

We are planning to release certain products that We developed while doing Our jobs and organize their marketing to secure Our work is profitable, in which You too will get your share from the profit.

We hope to make crypto security better with our contribution. Just PM me if You wish to join!

Well, I have just cowboy-written this text so I may change some parts later, but hopefully You got the idea already Tongue
668  Economy / Marketplace / Is "tipping" worth? on: December 30, 2016, 09:49:45 PM
People who are giving products and services for BTC "tipping" nowadays, is it truly worth for You?

I read that "tipping" does not work anymore because people prefer to download and then never tip even if they are nevertheless satisfied with the product. Also, I know that is why alot of people are selling their products for a hilariously low price because even selling for that price is said to be better than trusting in tips.
669  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I found an exploit. Where to sell? on: December 30, 2016, 09:18:32 PM

Good idea, about giving them time to decide how much they would mind if I released it elsewhere!

I prefer to keep things in the ethical way as I look forward to earning my first certificate in this area very soon (the exam will be in next month) (:, but I have not signed any obligation yet so a slight color of darkness may not hurt until I draw attention in the professional line.

Actually, I am thinking of posting the idea of a small cybersecurity team or similar in BCT since I know that it would be helpful for the community and probably excellent fun opportunity too.

I was glad to see that You too were interested in this field. I look forward to discussing with You soon Smiley

Can I suggest something? just first use it widely for everyone to see the impacts and then you have your proof after that you could bargain about a deal with devs and demand a large amount to safeguard your future if it is something critical otherwise don't trust anyone with it at all costs.

Yeah, proving it is an issue too. I would have an easy method to prove it, but that actually includes the usage of the exploit itself (so obtaining full access to their product/DB), which I do not want to push them into panic with. Something like a whitepaper could look legit, but why would they even bother reading a wall of technical text without actual demonstration?
670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rare address hall of fame on: December 30, 2016, 09:04:18 PM
Very exciting collection! Thank You for the idea. You could keep the thread continually updated so that I will not have to go through a monolithic wall of posts to get the best ones. I can hardly wait the sight of an address that is a full sentence. Has anyone created an address like that? I do not care if it is vanity or similar.
Not yet, as I am aware of. Creating full address of your choice still requires you to have huge computing power.
There is zero incentive to do this, as special or fancy BTC address won't help you in any way.

It will if someone pays a high amount of money for it to You. Look how many love to spend on vanity addresses that contain a word or abbreviation that makes some sense to them. How cool it would be to have a full-sentence address... I agree, even putting a word that makes sense into the address necessitates serious computing power, but that is why I want to see such an address, to get to know how the person generated it, what method he used or from where he got the power. As @LoyceV wrote, there may be smart methods out there.

672  Economy / Marketplace / Re: I found an exploit. Where to sell? on: December 30, 2016, 08:51:18 PM
Sell it to 1 person on this forum?

Yes, I could sell it to someone who I keep trusted and think that he would use it only within certain limits (without causing harm to others) for his own education, but can I truly trust someone with this?
673  Economy / Marketplace / I found an exploit. Where to sell? on: December 30, 2016, 08:45:49 PM
It is NOT that I want to sell the exploit itself in this forum. Let us say, I found an exploit in a library that alot of crypto products use and cannot handle in their code. Again, I do not want to destroy them by selling what I found itself.

So, what are my options to HELP people with this knowledge AND still make PROFIT?

I have my doubts that releasing a public thread about it would mean any help and reporting it individually may not reach the desired impact especially if the developers have less sophisticated English communication skills and the discussion ends up in confusion as I experienced a few times in the past.
674  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.0011 BTC for new faucet on: December 30, 2016, 08:35:14 PM
Wow, You may be a brave entrepreneur Smiley

Hi i want to try and create a bitcoin faucet. I know how to do it but i need 0.0011 BTC for the first days untill i earn from ads. My address is 1GnsQDhNLStXKwAyZy2xeSfnCsxZRh2gFx .  I will give you back 0.0015 BTC in a week. For collateral i can send you 0.60 $ paypal or 2$ paysafe card or anything you want.

I don't think that you will earn something creating a faucet these days.
Especially when you ask .0011BTC, thin number is to small even for 2 days operating it... Roll Eyes

Anyway, good luck to your loan and to your faucet. Cheers! Cool

I agree because I had the chance to look into faucet development/running a bit when faucets were more popular. In that time, it was easier to make BTC with them and even in those days You needed a much bigger amount of BTC to make them profitable. Faucets became less profitable nowadays and therefore running them with profit became much more difficult. So, I suggest preparing for the case if You have to pay that 0.0015 BTC back from own funds at the end Tongue Just a little warning here in everyone's right. Anyway, You may be a brilliant mind and could run up your faucet with minimal starting funds so good luck with finding someone and feel free to PM me if you need technical help with faucets!
675  Economy / Services / Re: selling 1 month rdp for $3.00 pp on: December 30, 2016, 08:21:56 PM
I have to ask for the details in order to decide if I want to buy your RDP. Details like OS, HW, pre-installed software, blacklist if you have any and whether your "going first for trusted members" means going first as requesting payment AFTER 1 month of successful usage or right after beginning using your RDP. In the latter case, people may ask for additional things to feel comfortable, but since You are offering it for a VERY GOOD price, maybe the details will be enough too to begin with a deal. Personally, I am looking for an RDP or VPS right now.

Your neat thread design is attention-grabbing, WowCheBit. I welcome the point that You are willing accept escrow from the start, too. The discussion above raised some questions in me, though. May I ask, what amount do you consider "low quantity"? Such information may worth to include in the thread in order to avoid unpleasant cancels, but as always, it is your service and your choice.
677  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Call for Developers: Lykke Streams projects on: December 30, 2016, 06:42:46 PM
Thank you for your response, tempus! The story seems interesting. I think, I will wait how it accomplishes in the early phase and may join later. Good luck to anyone who enters! I would love to hear your feedback if You do.
678  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Your Bitcoin-Address as Short URL with 1bit.co on: December 28, 2016, 04:22:40 PM
Good idea and very good job, trigger1975! My favorite part is how it warns me if I write an incorrect address, let us say a typo, into the textbox. Would it be possible to add an option where the User could generate custom URLs as https://1bit.co/codex for my address? Wink
679  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Call for Developers: Lykke Streams projects on: December 28, 2016, 02:56:30 PM
So, there will be more than one prize, which is cooling to know. What will happen to Others whose products did not make it to the first four? What rights will I give to whom and what rights will I keep on my product if I make it to the first four and if I do not?
680  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Bump Bot : Automatically bumps your topic to keep it on top on: December 27, 2016, 07:50:33 PM
Please PM the forums where you want to use the bot, I will test it out and update you with the results and other details.

I have sent my PM to You. First of all, I want to know how your bot will work with Epochtalk, the forum software that We will switch to soon. It is especially important since it matters if I have to do anything when the switch happens or I can sit back and let the bot keep bumping.

UPDATE: OP answered the PM. Thank you for your answer!
