I think it might be the first crowd sale that's actually tempted me. I'm a long time user and their plans are compelling.
I feel the same way, thinking about how useful Mycelium has been to me the last couple of years, then would I not mind supporting/investing in the company. However, I find it a problem that you do not know exactly how much your invest correspond to in shares. The more others invest in the initial crowd sale, the less your share is worth. Wouldn't it be more fair that you issue a fixed number of shares (or tokens) at an initial price per share and let the market decide the value of the shares? It's actually announced that the minimum investment is 1 BTC and in correspondence you receive 1 token. If you're interested, there's a 10% bonus for early contributors on their site. Is there really a 1 btc minimum investment? |

I have never seen so much damn hype for an altcoin launch like Lisk is having. At launch there will be blood. It will be bears vs bulls for sure. It will be of BIBLICAL proportions. Holy shit this is going to be HUGE. I predict a $2 floor at launch and then a spike to around $4-5. Then a sell off back down to $1. 6-12 months from now $10-20 and I stand by my prediction 100%. May 24th may go down as the most anticipated altcoin launch in history. Houston we have liftoff in T-27 days. If you are ready then repeat after me: MY BODY IS READY.  |

People starting to realize it's a scam. This time next month it'll get clearer.
I don't know these guy's ages but you do realize that some of the biggest companies in the world were built by under-grad students and dropouts (Microsoft, Apple, Google, Facebook, etc.) Right? Riiiiiiight? I care less about someones age but more about their capability, motivation and drive. Youth != success, but there is certainly a trend. Younger, vibrant minds are much more often "dumb enough" to try something new and ridiculous and energetic enough to see through their goals to success or dismal failure. Even many "failed" individuals learned to pick up and start over again, learning from their mistakes, (see the likes of Henry Ford, Walt Disney or Jack Ma) and eventually made massive successful enterprises. I chose this project partly because I know that Max and Oliver HAVE Failed before. Failure teaches you a ton about the real world. Instant first time success stories, that's usually a bad indicator for me. There are lessons that can only be learned through failure. I totally agree! Finally a good quote in this thread that makes sense and is reasonable. |

Rather a later launch than a total disaster if the network had collapsed. Glad the devs caught the network limitation and are addressing the problems. I guess we will have to be patient and hold out another month, more time for testing and verification.

Good decision. As I said early April, this release needs more work and then it will func.
I guess everyone will dump the coins for waves at that time... not a good timing... I guess now or after waves release would have been strategically better... Yeah its very close to Waves launch by then. |
