48hours no sign of withdraw yet
If Scrypt.cc really is a scam/ponzi then I think what's happening with withdrawals and other problems is that its resetting itself and then there will be another hack about 1 year from now so the cycle can keep going. Just watch everything will eventually go back to normal with the rewards and "mining". New investors will come and even old timers of the site will ride the train again to make some profit even though they know its not 100% legit but who cares right? The Trollbox will be up and running and everybody is going to have inspirational talks about reinvesting some or all of their profits. 100k a year is the goal right? Maybe 1 Million? Marcello will show up in the TB more frequently ensuring investors its all good and tell people to ALWAYS TAKE PROFIT which is him trying to hint to everyone that the site won't last forever *wink wink*. People will be making a profit for a while until all of a sudden the next " hack" comes out of nowhere and shakes investors. Then bitcointalk will be flooded with furious people ready to debate. Scam vs Not Scam will be the topic of the thread. REPEAT.☺ P.S. Nobody is going to make "YOU" "RICH". |

The real question is if people still want to invest their money today will they be able to withdraw it tomorrow? Because if that answer is "maybe" then I wouldn't take the risk at all at this point.

this is why i never apologize simply because i never mean it. You reference medication...if you only knew what they keep me on... I don't think you understand that to report abuse you actuall have to have a claim to file. If there were enough people with valid claims able to do so, wouldn't they be posting their evidence here so people who don't need their skittles could do it for them? If there were as many legitimate problems as are quoted to be as are here in this thread alone, then there would be no Scrypt.cc. People don't need a forum Master to tell them to close a scammers door. They would already be doing so. Lets be fair. "absence of no mining = Evidence of no mining," or in this case "Continued Scrypt.cc = Evidence no body gives a shit..." So if there is no other possibility and there are so many potential problems to be had at scrypt, lets all either contact the web host, or move along...We don't need this continued anymore. If you got burned, sucks to be you. You should really not blame the investment medium. Remember "If you wanted fair, you should not have gotten into crypto."
If you have so much support with you quoted evidence, and Santos yet continues then are you not simply bitching at a wall. There are not enough people to take down the server because theres only you couple losers who wont post anything extra. Mabey you don't know but evidence keeps getting collected even throughout a trial. So that in the event that the can't prove it, they have more. I almost walked my friend. And santos just did because i just don't care about how you mighta/sorta/didn't lose money. If there were enough of you i wouldn't have a stance. I'd be right there with you. Anyone got feedback here that they did withdraw some of their coins? I wanted to know if this was possible. I got too excited earlier when the trading value went low and deposited few coins (just even under one coin), just to test out and try. Well, I got a hell of a deal for buying ghs at low price but now the question is can I still withdraw my coins.   You can't unless admin decides so. I'm sure scrypt.cc bagholders are grateful for your donation. What is even going on with this place anymore? Is it stuck in limbo or something? It should have already failed by now. I'm glad I got out a month ago with only a $100 loss or I would be so screwed right now and lost about $800. Whew...Close one. ☺ |

RE: Mining.
Bitcoin has been tanking straight down for a month now and I don,t see much strength in the dead cat bounce now. So buying into cloud mining (the reality based variety) is probably not a very good idea right now. Do nothing for now. If bitcoin drops to 200-210 buy it. If this ongoing bear market bounce shows signs of holding and somehow improving maybe then start thinking mining. Good luck, g
SCC and gawminers were my first two cloudmining sites i have invested money in and lost money too. Now I just feel like everything is a scam at this point and also my ass hurts already from cloudmining. I just don't know anymore. |

Are there any cloudmining sites out there with decent roi that are NOT scams? Can anybody name any? Hashnest S5 is the safer choice because you can sell your hash at any time with no penalty. Stakeminers is interesting but there are significant withdrawal penalties if you want out. Genesis Mining has never been a good choice, overpriced and there is no way to sell your hashing power. Because ROI on S5 is almost two years now if you buy you are betting on bitcoin price increase so you can sell your hash at a profit. Rather than investing in any hosted mining I would just hold bitcoin now. Check the charts in Hashnest and look for a turnaround and wait until hash prices are in an uptrend before buying. When the market is trending up there is a good spread and volume on UMISOO and money to be made day trading. Thanks for the input and I'll definitely take that into consideration. Its hard trying to find cloudmining sites that won't scam you and also have a reasonable roi. Its almost like what's the point of even doing this at all if nothing works and your money sitting in limbo at a site taking forever to roi. Might as well park your couple of grand at the bank IMO. |

What is your definition of decent? I take everything under one year as "fucking awesome". That would be Hashnest, Genesis Mining and possible Mining Sweden. And always remember: Under normal investments (using a bank), you would need 10 years. So one year is really damn good. Wow that really makes a lot of sense. So I guess 1 year ain't too bad lol. Cause in the business world your investment wouldn't be returned for at least a few years right? I think I'm gonna take a chance with Hashnest. They might not have a sub 100 day roi but at least its pretty legit. 😃 |

Risks? I do not encourage anyone to invest at scryptcc, what I cannot accept is the accusation that it does not pay because it does pay.
Don't you think you are already encouraging readers to invest in scrypt.cc by defending the site that they still pay? It's quite clear that you don't care where the bitcoins are coming from as long as you get paid Well the summary of this thread is that SCC is a scam and users are not getting paid. If you vote to officially close this thread and move on with your life type 👍 or say "thumbs up". You can also comment on why you agree. |

Literally nothing changed on scrypt except for the conversion of khs to mhs I don't know what admin is planning, but it seems to me nothing is going to change.
