Smart people sell some of their holdings early on after an ICO finishes as a means of hedging their bets. That way if the price continues to rise they still hold a decent amount of the coin/currency and if the price falls they can keep some of their BTC and use it to reinvest in another coin or if they truly believe in the coin they can buy back at a lower price thereby increasing their holdings. Even if you 100% believe in a coin it makes sense to do this in order to protect yourself. No matter how strong a business model a coin has it will inevitably rise and fall - so why not take advantage of that?

I think launch will be in september... or December. But don't know year...  Agree. even if testnet will launch soon, it's only 1 months of testnet. too poor. Better to launch on september. delay for a better coin is welcome. Eth get 6 months testnet before launch. Dev, maybe wait other 3-4 months. it's better after all those stuck. Better wait until september then launch on may with only 1 month testnet. Don't expect too much time, May 24 is set in stone. It's not like before. Yeah that's true they have to deliver on May 24th. Its an official launch date. |

So you can buy it. Well right now according to Yobit sellers will not sell under about $2 from what I see. They're standing strong on that price. I think this will be sort of a reflection at launch time. I took position at 0.01 BTC  Wow did you buy a lot just to get in post ICO? I'm also assuming you'll hold until it hits about $10 right? |

I bought some waves near the beginning of the ICO. Kinda afraid to log in to the ICO page and see how much my balance has decreased since then  It doesn't matter - the lower the number of coins your investment has purchased, the higher the value of each individual coin. Exactly! This is definitely true. |

Hope that LISK don't be dumped after launch It almost certainly will be dumped on some level at launch. That's what used to happen all the time. Then after the initial dump it's going to gain some momentum and will start climbing up. We'll see how much time Lisk will need to gain momentum and how high it can go. My guess is pump to $4 per or something, then dump to $1.x and stabilize around $1.50 or so.. I wouldn't sell mine under $1.50 this is what I was thinking also. Around this level. dump might be lower but how long it stays at that price is more important than the price. quick drop to $0.50 then back to $1.50 is just a good deal for someone. Yeah I agree. I've been saying for a while there will be a $4-5 spike then back down to around $1.50. I absolutely would not sell under $1.50-$2. Just no way. |

I have purchased now two lots so far and my Husband wants to buy some too so can I open a separate account for him so we both have wallets? He said he wants to buy a few waves and let it grow there. I plan on picking up a bit more soon. I clicking doge faucets like crazy among other things lol. I can't do the signature campaign at the moment but my Husband wanted to join the forum and contribute in constructive posting but not sure if this is allowed. We both have an i.p each as well. Risk with waves is very very high. They have no customers or user base and what to be a platform. That per se, cant work. I dont know if you remember paycoin. Waves could be the next paycoin problem. Popular maker asking for money, for a project you cant say it will ever fly = PaycoinI agree with your first point, only invest what you can afford to lose! About WAVES having no user base: There are 1.7k followers on twitter and almost 500 people on slack. TestNet has been tested by quite some people. I wouldn't call that a platform without user base... Also, the comparison to PayCoin is ridiculous. If I remember correctly they promised a minimum value of USD 20 per coin which was both completely arbitrary and not backed with anything. Please stop the FUDing. the last day of ico will be 31 may, right?

You mean the will distribute the waves on facebook too like the STR devs did? if yes then this token is just a waste. most coins that are given for free totally lose its value. exactly thats where it starts looking suspicious No one throws free coins. Facebook/Twitter thing is a marketing campaign. What @electronicash says is like checking how much The Coca-Cola Co. spends for marketing and divulging its stock shares to be worthless. If those "free" coins are to be dumped by the receivers, there will be buy walls created by the ICO funds. So basically the Waves team does not give free coins, it is rather that they spend some of the ICO money for a marketing campaign. Exactly. Coins are not free, you have to complete a task for it. Well it wouldn't be a successful popular launch without the fud. It means Waves is doing something right like other great altcoins already out there that have gone through the same exact thing.  |

I have never seen so much damn hype for an altcoin launch like Lisk is having. At launch there will be blood. It will be bears vs bulls for sure. It will be of BIBLICAL proportions. Holy shit this is going to be HUGE. I predict a $2 floor at launch and then a spike to around $4-5. Then a sell off back down to $1. 6-12 months from now $10-20 and I stand by my prediction 100%. May 24th may go down as the most anticipated altcoin launch in history. Houston we have liftoff in T-27 days. If you are ready then repeat after me: MY BODY IS READY.  My body is ready.
