Well how can I know if Scc is being selective into whom it pays? What I know is that it paid its users. Some users with btc in their hot wallets got reinvested and they say that it got cancelled but it really wasn't cancelled because it got reinvested by the magically turned-on autobuy feature.
Risks? I do not encourage anyone to invest at scryptcc, what I cannot accept is the accusation that it does not pay because it does pay.
You're forgetting the phantom withdrawals that don't get cancelled (or "reinvested"), show as completed, but never reach the blockchain. Stolen, in plain English. IT DOES NOT PAY. Random chance doesn't count, unless you call lotteries and casinos "investments" as well.

Don't you think you are already encouraging readers to invest in scrypt.cc by defending the site that they still pay? It's quite clear that you don't care where the bitcoins are coming from as long as you get paid

If you vote to officially close this thread and move on with your life type 👍 or say "thumbs up". You can also comment on why you agree.

Maybe the admin is sending some bitcoin around, that it looks like someone is depositing. So users who look at the wallet gain more trust towards scrypt.cc. I'm too lazy to follow the transactions historys.

How much did you lose anyway?
Ask the "boss". How many of these guys are squeezed into that Miami motel room, with the server running on a mobile hotspot? Hopefully all that ballsweat stank is worth it for the underlings. It tends to be the people with the least skin in the game that cry the loudest. Based on your comments I'm guessing, say, about a bag of chips. Folks, this Ibian c**t has to be TheCleanGame from IRC and Trollbox of olde .. just FYI. Def speaking the same c**tunese. Wants you to walk away saying, ".. I'm such an idiot.. oh well, better luck next time..." Well I have news for you f***er - some of us have skills and resources, and plans - we're coming for your pimp, G. What am I saying? Even if he doesn't work for Marshmellow Sandwich he won't deny it .. he's been claiming to have worked for him in the past - it's the only reason anyone gives a shit what he says. Hurry, fake another appearance of SantosM in IRC .. great time for another bullshit distraction .. make yourself feel special. Hey. Hey cunt. Get to work. Back up your accusation or admit you lied. Cunt.

I don't see the added benefit of pooling coins in a POS setting above doing it yourself in your wallet. Well, minus the work that it saves you.
The main benefit is the reduced orphan rate. A staking pool allows a bunch of people to cooperate, and effectively agree not to orphan each other's blocks. Then there's the fact that most people don't keep a server online 24/7, and so a staking pool allows them to be always staking without having to maintain their own server. There are lots of downsides of course, with the biggest being the counterparty risk and the fees you'll have to pay. Proceed with extreme caution it appears to be a black box you put money into and a trickle of money comes out of because magic or staking or something. If you wish to withdraw principal you pay an unspecified penalty. Transparency about zero as far as i could find with limited digging.
I've not looked at their site, but there's no excuse for such a site not to offer a proof-of-solvency, so its clients can be sure they're not investing in a Ponzi.

Why would people lie and say they hadn't been paid? That doesn't make sense.
If this site wasn't a scam I'd be encouraging more and more people to join in. The more who join means there's less MHS (neé KHS) to go around. The scarcer the resource gets the more value it has. The value of my account would go up the more people there are trying to join the party.
By saying the site is a scam people aren't trying to cheat anyone out of money. They're trying to stop you losing money. Yes, you've got paid but that seems to be a mistake rather than the norm.
This site is a scam. Pure and simple.
I think it's safe to start assuming that "got paid" in this scenario simply means "Marcelo hasn't stolen quite everything from me yet." You're not wrong.
|
PSA: scrypt.cc is a scam, most likely of the "ponzi" variety. You will lose your money if you try to "invest" or "play" or whatever you want to call your participation in this shitshow. You've been warned.

Exhibit #1 (cyberpinoy is the owner of StakeMiners): https://forum.gethashing.com/t/pos-mining-stakeminers/3925/64Edited 2020-11-28 to fix a broken imageTo be fair after some pressure they released their wallet addresses but that doesn't help much since it's still a black box from the investors' POV - they put BTC in and get some BTC out so this could still be fractional etc.

deposits still dont work . admin doesnt know what the frack they are doing
so this scrypt cc is dead ? am i late to join this cloudmining ? i calculate buy mhs and i get faster ROI than hashnet YOU CANNOT WITHDRAW !!!!!!!! Thank's for your reply/coment that can help me now im research to other cloudmining (where i can get fast ROI + profit ) Screw Scrypt CC. So far, the best option I have found for fast ROI + profit that seems legit, is Stakeminers. It is not conventional cloud mining, but POS. All investments are put together to stake as much as possible and maximize profit, and then we reap the rewards. The nature of the beast holds the potential of increasing rewards over time, instead of decreasing them. Read up on staking if you don't know the difference between POW and POS mining, and give Stakeminers a try In my opinion it is not selling a pipe dream, but a rather good business model that benefits all parties. I don't see the added benefit of pooling coins in a POS setting above doing it yourself in your wallet. Well, minus the work that it saves you. Correct me if I'm wrong, but staking solo is only more lucrative if you have huge amounts of BTC and know what you are doing (takes a bit of work). You will be able to stake more effectively and gain higher rewards when pooling together, as each contributor's "staking power" and interest rates will compound and benefit each other. Even when the pool grows, it yields higher rewards in spite of a lessened weight percent of the staking. Im not sure where you get that from. Advertising from some POS staking site that probably takes a percentage of income fromn staking as fees? I am referring to the service in this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=989670.0. I cannot vouch for it yet though, I have only invested a sum to test it before making any further conclusions. I believe there are no fees. POS staking requires no electricity in particular or hardware, so it's a different kind of story than conventional cloud mining. You believe there are no fees? https://stakeminers.com/terms.php8.4. A Withdraw Penalty will be imposed for investors wishing to withdraw their investment with StakeMiners. The schedule for such a withdraw is as follows. Investments Withdrawn Within 30 days 30% Penalty, Investments Withdrawn Within 60 days 20% Penalty, Investments Withdrawn Within 90 days 10% Penalty, Investments Withdrawn Within 120 to 364 1/4 days 5% Penalty. Investments withdrawn after 365 days will receive a 2% Penalty. Most of the Terms have been plagiarized from CEX, so that kind of shows you the overall quality of the operation. https://forum.gethashing.com/t/pos-mining-stakeminers/3925/969The owner is a habitual liar, claiming to be Bitcoin's early adopter since 2009 and an experienced Forex trader too, although just a year ago was roaming various forums saying he was a newbie in both. https://forum.gethashing.com/t/pos-mining-stakeminers/3925/970Not to mention he runs a self-moderated thread here and deletes any questions he doesn't like. So I guess in a way that makes it a suitable replacement for scrypt.cc. Depends on what your lesson here is. Do you think it is normal to throw money at questionable sites and/or individuals that claim quick "ROI". Or do you think doing a bit of due diligence is a prerequisite for any kind of investment. Your choice. I looked and did not like their terms also did not like getting locked in to their wallet. That is the only way to fund your account they did not tell that before signing up. Seems shady to me.

What is your definition of decent? I take everything under one year as "fucking awesome". That would be Hashnest, Genesis Mining and possible Mining Sweden. And always remember: Under normal investments (using a bank), you would need 10 years. So one year is really damn good.

Cause in the business world your investment wouldn't be returned for at least a few years right? I think I'm gonna take a chance with Hashnest. They might not have a sub 100 day roi but at least its pretty legit. 😃
