7741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]StealthMiner v1.1 BEST CPU Miner for Monero-1 Click Setup-HIDDEN-MORE COINS on: May 30, 2017, 05:39:52 PM
And what is the procedure to uninstall the software ?

once installed, just go into the folder you unzipped the file into and delete the following software WindowsDriver.exe

That will make the software pause and terminate. Just make sure to empty the trash and you should be good  Wink
Ok, thank you for the reply.

Is there any fee in the miner code or we earn all the hashrate, all time ?

Hey,

No there is no additional fee for using the miner. Only what you pay for the mining pool, which I cannot control.
Hey :-).

Ok, very good.
Why do you not use a public licence and post your sources in GitHub ?
If there is no fees, it's will be good for all the community and yourself (community helping) ?

haha well, i like this being my little project and I am confident it will already help people mine monero very easily so I am fine with that for now. As things move on I might consider making it a more public project, I would just really like more traction and popularity so I can see how the program handles many many users. You know there is always someone with a special situation that might help me fix a big here and there.

That is also the main reason why I posted the software here, so I can get the word out there and hopefully get users who can report the bugs for me.  Smiley

I've been mining XMR and derivatives or whatever for a so long already.
And seriously i would love to use some of the cpu power I've just sitting around....
BUT and that my friend is a big BUTT to it...
as the others said if you could eliminate all the negative crap behind it like it requiring to disable protection and so fourth, that is when you product will have large and wide spread adoption.
For example... minergate.... except I really don't like them REALLY DON'T!
Their specialty is the simplistic use ... not only user friendly but stupid user friendly and stupid  is pretty wide spread and a vast level of really unfortunate people that can not even pull their own finger outta their own  arse!
WOW I finally used that word and in context   yea me!!!!
That is one of the advantages of open source is the community will assist in the improvements and that help the users and increases the adoption!
Understandable that it's your baby and the sentiments  are perfectly in line.
But you made this nice beast and it's you yourself that is holding it back from growth.
And by all means that is YOUR prerogative.
Cheers! Cheesy
7742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ASUS HD 6670 1GB - Should I bother to bung these in a spare rig if they're free? on: May 30, 2017, 05:07:44 PM
Might be able to pick up two of these ASUS HD 6670 1GBcards from work for free..

Does anyone know if these are even worth their energy cost?

I have a spare rig waiting for new Radeon cards to come back in stock so just wondering if it's worth throwing these asus cards in as a temporary place-holder?

They might not even mine enough to cover their energy usage at 15cents/kWh but can't seem to find much info on them on the interwebbs

Thoughts appreciated Smiley

The only way you could potentially make any decent mining profits would be if the electricity is also free.
They are a very old GPU and consume a lot of juice and do very little on a global rank of GPU.
For nostalgia effect they would look better if hung on the wall like a trophy.
Just think this:

Radeon HD 6670   72.21 mHash/s  Algo sha256d   and about 127 k/hs  in scrypt
IMHO
7743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Unbelievable hashrates! on: May 30, 2017, 04:23:34 PM
If he has that large of a mining farm to put that amount of hashrate then, I would presume  that he has made the investment previously and is now with the high profitability; put it back online.
And if he has had thing large of a farm I would say more then likely he has already broke even or made a bit on top of it  already.
And this will continue for quite some time if the BTC remains high enough!
7744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: (HELP) Risers to GPU Ethereum RIG on: May 30, 2017, 04:18:37 PM
Get pci 1 to 16 risers. Something like this should suffice. https://www.amazon.com/6-Pack-PCI-E-Powered-Adapter-Extension/dp/B01N3UVJHM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1496116105&sr=8-1&keywords=pci+risers You plug the 1x board into your pci slots and the riser to the graphics card. Lots of GPU mining rig blog posts to reference as well.

Good luck

Thank you so much!!
I am only missing a power supply now, do you have any suggestion, that risers you suggest, the power connector fits into any supply? My problem in reallity is with connector, if they fit or not into different pieces...

and also, this motherboard has only 3x pci x1 slots, i saw that a x1 plug fit's onto x4 x8 x16, can you confirm me this?
I'm afraid of buying 6 of 16x to x1 and the motherboard only supports three...

To answer a previous question - the pci risers that he gave the address for are one of the best on the market and they are self powered.
They have sata extension cables that allow you to use extra sata outlets from your psu, now if you have for some reason not enough sata connectors coming out of the power supply no fret...
They are extensions and on the x16 board that goes under the GPU  you can remove the extension and you will find a normal molex.
And yes the x1 fits into all pcie slots indifferently if x1 x4 x8 x16 simply plug it in normally.
7745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NEW][HEX]HEISENBERG HEX - OFFICIAL/NEW RoadMap/2017/ on: May 30, 2017, 03:21:47 PM
Added to watch list!

So, nothing posted in a week, is this real or not? I have lot of HEX I would like to do something with.

The dev's team should have their presence here once in a while, even if they are still in the development stage.
With their overwhelming supply, this one needs a dynamic marketing strategy and solid plans that will keep their supporters committed with this project.
Without their supporters, this project is worth nothing.
7746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ONIX PROJECT, A BLOCKCHAIN LOANS PLATFORM! on: May 30, 2017, 03:07:29 PM
This should be explained further as the terms are not clear.
If you are buying ONX, then, you shell out some money. How much can you loan from the ONIX org with what you buy?
And also, when you are mining, what percentage of loan you can get?
And the loan - what type of currency does ONIX give to the holder?

Hi! thanks for the interest, all will be cleared in the whitepaper and roadmap this week on the website!

if you download the wallet I will gladly send you some ONX

BR

Thanks but I'm not interested in downloading your wallet yet.
I only run wallets for those projects that I believe in & that their platform is already clear to me.
I'll just check your whitepaper & road map once you released that on your website.
7747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [FIDGT] - FidgetCoin - X11 - PoW+PoS - Bounties + Giveaway - Buy Fidgets - on: May 30, 2017, 09:03:53 AM
There are too many similar coin, what innovations do FIDGT have?

Fidget Products Smiley

Hopefully they really have something to do with Fidget products or this coin can really purchase fidgets.
Because most of the times, the dev will just use something to create a coin.
But in reality, they will not do anything to collaborate with real stores/shops.
7748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ ANN ] [HAMS] Hamster Coin - Let Your Love Pay Back In Gold on: May 30, 2017, 08:45:08 AM
How can this coin pay you in gold?
It's like promising someone a sky.  Roll Eyes
Dealing with physical gold is not that easy and convenient.
So this one is really not serious of giving something to the potential investors.
7749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MITH] mithril, an experimental digital asset on: May 29, 2017, 09:32:41 AM
I don't get why is it experimental? It could be named experimental 8 years ago, not now.

Experimental in the sense that they already have 20% premine.
They will test if someone will buy their premine once they got an exchange.
Testing the waters first. If their bait is not taken, then, maybe this project will end soon.
7750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Announcing Clipse Coin - (Clp) on: May 29, 2017, 06:24:16 AM
A real ANN is what the investors looking for, with complete essential details like roadmap and white paper and the coin's specification, it's end-use if any and the team behind the coins.
on that way, you will be able to entice some investors and supporters.

Real ANN is getting rare and rare now.
Devs are getting lazy and a lot of times, they are just after the fast cash.
Hopefully this Clipse coin will not see their eclipse soon.

Someone mined a fuckton of coins already. Holy shit stay away.

Whoever is mining this coin will be the first one to ask for exchange.  Grin
7751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SNC] SunContract - Decentralized Energy Market on: May 29, 2017, 03:48:13 AM
Sorry to say but this has been done years ago.... if you look at various altcoins that offered the same things with similar names you will see quite high set accomplishments that never succeeded in what they aimed for, what differs this ?

What backing does it have besides the various incomes you hope to attract through this said project linked to a crypto currency ?

It takes quite a lot of solar panels and batteries to store energy for a single household plus they are very pricey, if you were to sell energy how would you do it and where would you set up your grids ? What regulations would you attend by per you Countries Laws for Energy Regulation on private selling of energy including taxes, etc ?

The whole world over has several examples of individuals that use solar power on online.
And for the most they sell their excess power generated from solar or other type of energy generation.
All excess energy is sold back to the same energy company that would normally give household electricity.
Example: USA simply build your solar powered panels and then as proof they will come and arrange the sale of your excess power to them to sustain the network in your area of sale.
This is common practice all over the world!
7752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Unity Ingot Official Launch - World's First Crypto-Mining Backed Token on: May 28, 2017, 02:36:48 PM
I didn't say that UNI is bad project. Is great project. But UNI isn't first coin backed with gold.

Yes, it's not the first coin backed with gold.
XAU & Yogold, Xau is still doing well but I don't know what's going on with yogold nowadays.

Actually the Yogold coin is also baked on gold.
And Bilur is baked on oil barrels!

Bitrad.io SCAM !!!
Developers are potential scammers! I ask the community to spread this information and protect depositors from the next ICO! This is not the only case. There are other deceived investors. This information is up-to-date until coins are paid to all participants of the past ICO.

I do hope that they are not.
This project has really good future if handled well.
Hopefully the dev will clarify things to those who have issues about their ICO.
7754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ONIX PROJECT, A BLOCKCHAIN LOANS PLATFORM! on: May 28, 2017, 04:21:39 AM

how would it work?

The user buys or mines ONX, choose an amout of ONX to be hold on a "fixed term" for a period of time on our platform and the ONIX organization gives a loan to the holder.

The loans are based on annual interests, and credit lines.

The warranty of the loans will be the ONX hold by the organization.

This should be explained further as the terms are not clear.
If you are buying ONX, then, you shell out some money. How much can you loan from the ONIX org with what you buy?
And also, when you are mining, what percentage of loan you can get?
And the loan - what type of currency does ONIX give to the holder?

7756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][OGC][ICO]Onegram.org - ONEGRAM Sharia Compliant Gold Backed Cryptocurrency on: May 28, 2017, 03:28:55 AM
what about twitter and facebook bounty?
Your project is going very well. I saw that you have collected more than $400000 in one day. I hope that this project will get what is its aim and will be beneficial for all the world and for the traders who want to invest in it to earn some profit in the future.

I'll just watch the turn of events for this project.
I'm curious how will this progress...
7757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][OGC][ICO]Onegram.org - ONEGRAM Sharia Compliant Gold Backed Cryptocurrency on: May 16, 2017, 05:25:16 AM
Onecoin is sharia complaint too
https://www.businessforhome.org/2016/08/onecoin-adds-shariah-compliance/

Everyone knows they're not a scam /s

I would like a contact number to call to verify the gold holdings.
Or something to verify that you have the gold you say backs up this crypto.

you can contact them via slack.

I dont want to speak to a developer, I want the number to the vault that is storing the gold.
I want to verify the holdings/contract is actually there.

I don't understand this OGCsig campaign mgr, why would someone contact the team themselves to confirm their gold holdings Huh
Sometimes common sense is not present here.
@ MadHatt597, I do hope that you are successful in verifying those claims. And hope what you will dig will not be too late to let everyone know the truth.

Although this is a sharia compliant crypto but anyone irrespective of his religion can participate in it.
I have intuition that this is going to be one of the best and top crypto because not only its devs are based in Dubai but also because it is first sharia compliant.

Are you sure that they are really based in Dubai?
7758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Unlimited coin | ULM | Scrypt | special bounties on: May 16, 2017, 01:27:37 AM
The dev is not offended even with the sarcastic comments here.
Unlimited supply? You can predict the direction where it's going.
It will just be one of those coins that will be soon confronted by the reality in crypto.
7759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: best gpu for mining atm on: May 15, 2017, 09:40:49 PM
To be honest, I believe that there is no "best" of gpu.
One is always better than the other. And tomorrow, there will be a better one than what I have today.
AMD is by far the most versatile over the entire gamma of different algos.
Nvidia are just plain good cards to work with and play with.
As the software developers make the new miners, it really depends on one thing...what card does the dev have?
Here is a great way to calculate -

7760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Has anyone tried running 2 GPUs installed on the board? on: May 15, 2017, 09:32:28 PM
A few years ago, I found myself with a few spare MSI 7950 TFIII reference boards and a gigabyte MB.
In the part of the world where I was, there could not be risers found anywhere in the country!
I used the direct on-board approach and well? I guess the lesson learned. They get hot!
And they get even hotter when the airflow is kinda restricted like when sitting very pretty on the MB.
It's not a good idea! Not all MB are the same and most will starve the pcie slot of current! "More Heat"
All summed up I'm glad the days of lots of heat are over.
