7701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Investex - Renewable Energy Project { E-3 Tokens } {ICO} on: June 11, 2017, 11:44:03 PM
It's great to see that there are more and more projects that are now trying to aspire in caring for our environment.
And this is one of them. And from the sound of it, how they presented their ANN is pretty serious in achieving their goals.
Wishing now a successful journey in this crypto era!
7702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptos are most used as money / a cash alternative? on: June 11, 2017, 10:42:13 PM
Still btc is the most used digital currency by anyone.
A lot of people don't know yet the presence of alt currencies & how to use them.
Merchants & other banks are already using btc for so long already.
7703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 👍👍👍👍👍👍 [ANN][LIKE] Likecoin | Cryptocurrency for all. 👍👍👍👍👍👍 on: June 11, 2017, 02:03:56 AM
>10% premine

lol

That's the strategy of a coin with not so much to offer in the community.
With their huge premine, they will get a lil bit of something from their dump.
Also, they don't have at least a decent website to refer to.
7704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CharlieBrownCoin -CBC- on: June 10, 2017, 10:31:15 PM
I've only got one question.... WHY?

What do you expect? This is a super serious one?  Roll Eyes
No doubt, the lifespan of this kind will not see the sunrise.  Grin
7705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Brownouts started to show in summer on: June 10, 2017, 10:19:18 PM
A UPS is generally going to provide the most reliable power, but you're going to need a pretty substantial one for each system, and don't expect it to give you more than a minute or two of run time at full load.  If you expand beyond 2 GPU/machine, you'll need to look at datacenter-grade UPS systems.
A ups will be a big added cost , i am thinking that a ups is a stablizer with a battery so i don't need the backup power i just want to protect the machines when power goes and return aggressive voltage

Yes, UPS is additional cost but will temporarily address your problem regarding blackouts.
For long-term investment, you might think of solar panel system & now you can say that this system will give you the most reliable power.
7706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining strategy on: June 09, 2017, 10:46:57 PM
Mining strategies are a dime a dozen and what works for one will not work for another.
I prefer to mine the stable and solid.
http://whattomine.com/coins
That website sure helps.
7707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: TOA Coin - your travel cryptocurrency on: June 09, 2017, 10:37:14 PM
There is a very big difference from an idea and making that idea work.
There are too many loopholes for this to work if you ask me.
But if the devs make a game plan. and is valid, it could possibly work.
7708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XEL] :: Elastic - The Decentralized Supercomputer :: on: June 08, 2017, 01:12:14 PM

7710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find the newest AIRDROP's? on: June 08, 2017, 08:20:30 AM
Airdrops just about like most bounties also get announced at launch,
just keep an eye on the market place and watch for the new coins where it is more possible to find them
7711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU restock? on: June 08, 2017, 07:45:06 AM
With the high price of btc and the high profitability compared to the last few years.
All possible mining equipment is back-ordered for a while!
And the only people to benefit are the hardware makers.
7712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: SilverCoin (SVC) | Universal Web Monetization Platform on: June 08, 2017, 03:07:57 AM
Here's the filipino(tagalog) translation https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1955872.new#new

There is a difference of English and Filipino.
your translation is lacking many pieces and is accurate in others,
while still not translating the entire ann in Filipino but in "Taglish"
half Tagalog and half English

I just did what people can understand. What do you want me to do? Translate it in absolute filipino mode? Go and visit those threads there please.

Indifferently if the "people" understand it or not.
you translations are missing pieces of what is on the original
and incorrect in other places also.
i am saying this for correctness to the OP /Dev/COIN
simply because you got here before or posted your reservation before others ..

DOES NOT mean you are qualified and do a good job!
7713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Trying to mine using Claymores miner 9.5 for linux on: June 07, 2017, 09:49:12 PM
what works for one does not always work for the other
not all hardware are the same so obviously things change
7714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best laptop for Minergate CPU mining on: June 07, 2017, 02:16:15 PM

i cannot imagine what kind of damage the mining would do to a laptop.
i think its just a pity to deliberately burn up a working laptop!
7715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Service] Invictus Mining on: June 07, 2017, 06:14:13 AM
I havent had the pleasure of knowing personally, but if the OP holds true...
this should turn /churn  out some very nice things!
i wish the very best and i am positive we will have a brite future in most aspects!
Good Job and Good luck
7716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TenX [ICO] end of June: making Blockchain assets spendable on: June 07, 2017, 02:52:06 AM
This project looks nice.
And I would like to see the advancement with good input from the community.
This has a huge portion of the market that it could cover and be very profitable.
7717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New Hardware Incoming on: June 07, 2017, 02:28:19 AM
I would love to see that motherboard up and full
Even with a few splitters to increase even more...
It looks promising and would help resolve many problems around the mining.
7718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Do 1 into 3 PCIe Risers work? on: June 06, 2017, 01:16:30 PM

Yes they do work but there are also many motherboards that have been found that do not support this.
It's actually a shot in the dark at times but if it does work then enjoy!
7719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Using 2 PSU on: June 06, 2017, 01:11:08 PM
what is important is the rail. if everything is on a single rail it will not give many problems. on separate rails limits each for max and starve many gpus, as for using 2 or more psu certainly it is possible and i have done it all the time for years with no harm to anything....
7720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Should I invest in GPU mining? on: June 05, 2017, 10:51:06 PM
Mining at the moment does have a good profitability compared to before the price increase of btc.
i use this site to see whats the best at the moment  http://whattomine.com/coins
