8101  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] RECEHAN.NET Bitcoin Micro Payment on: January 27, 2017, 05:01:30 AM
From your website -

"Hallo and welcome to Recehan

If you are a faucet user then you can go to Faucet List and start claiming your free Bitcoin from our faucet owner, Please note that we will send you your Bitcoin after you reach our minimum transhold."

For sure you are not a native English speaker & so am I.
But the thing is, at least check if you use appropriate words as you are talking to the global crypto-community.

I bet you mean - threshold & not transhold.   Wink
8102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][ADX]Iadix Coin POS Purenode HTML5 Blockchain, Starts 15th Feb. on: January 27, 2017, 12:20:34 AM
As usual no source code until the end of ico, no escrow, classic scam.
Sure, everybody will soon see the complete code, before the launch of the ico.
In fact, you can already see it... Smiley
No escrow....why should we need, our names are real, we're real people, easy to find us...
If the community really wants escrow, we have to discuss about it before ico starts, that's all.
No scam, no ponzi, no crooks....THIS IS A REAL PROJECT !! Smiley
If somebody wants to talk about Iadix Purenode technology, you're welcome !  Kiss

sometimes even if you say "our names are real, we're real people, easy to find us," remember people here in the community are already fed up with all the scams that they encounter everyday. even if you say people behind this are good people. nope. we can't buy that. sorry.
and to think that, every single day there's always a new coin created & developed - a lot of them is launched just to get money & run afterwards.

so the dev/s should be more intelligent enough to answer technical queries once crypto legends will dig up your source code.
8103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP as currency on: January 26, 2017, 01:24:06 AM
This wiki link is also a good read regarding Ripple -
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ripple_(payment_protocol)
To add with the link posted by God27.

The market cap is just behind BTC & ETH. So there's something in it.
But not good in the anonymity area. Also they don't require mining.
Thinking of the security, I believe they are more prone to hacking activity esp that your payment info using this system requires registering your actual data.
8104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: January 26, 2017, 12:28:23 AM
Front Page....  Grin

wow! sounds that XMR has already invaded the drug business trade.  Cheesy
and note that everyone seems to love how this altcoin is being handled.

i for one, is mining this coin.  Grin
8105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ReferralCoins - Digital Money for the Referral Marketing Industry on: January 25, 2017, 02:20:59 AM
You are already posting an [ANN], then at least put some detailed info about the proj. & not the generic one.
And you are having such an enormous supply of your coin! What's the logic behind that? Just wondering...

We will be following up on specifics for different parts of our ecosystem as they become available. There is a lot of information that will be coming out soon to help explain our approach.

This information will also be building on previously released documentation. ReferralCoins is a practical application of some more generic concepts related to cryptocurrency development and deployment.

The OP will be updated to reflect new information. Feedback from users will be helpful to us in determining release priority for information.

Typically people like to know the purpose of the coin and general stats which is the nature of the first post. Additional specifics such as milestones, partnerships and other significant developments will be released as we move forward.

We are looking to involve people from the earliest stages to help everyone grow and succeed.

On the subject of the coin supply... Knowing this would come up, there will be an upcoming article about this subject so rather than reply here I will save that response for when the article is ready Smiley

well said! at least you're one of the devs that has better writing skills.  Smiley
i'll just be watching your coin for now. will be checking the sincerity of your proj or if it is just using an idea that in reality there's nothing into it!

so let's see then what you've got...

Aaah, now it becomes clear, this is OSMIUMCOIN again.. same dev as from MoneyCoin:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=559783

Same seednode is used:

https://github.com/yescoindev/yes/blob/master/src/chainparams.cpp#L128

ping seed.yescoin.us
PING seed.yescoin.us (138.68.44.164): 56 data bytes

Google 138.68.44.164:

Leads you to this thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1711625.0

Now, the next BIG QUESTION is - how will the dev react on this!!!

A - Just ignore & move on...
B - Pretend that OCminer's post is invisible to everyone
C - Hope that he will still catch a lot of "sharks" in the ocean
D - all of the above

Sometimes, you need a crypto-expert to unleash the black shadow of the coin!
Thanks OCminer!
8108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: **AUCTION** Selling 3500+ Bitcoin/Altcoin Trader Emails Collected During IPO on: January 23, 2017, 12:38:20 PM
Yeah, I think it is not appropriate to sell their emails just like that!!!
Yes, you had their consent. But that was before & to quote CjMapope -

you have "consent" thru fine print noone reads :/
if any of those users were asked right now if they consented to their personal data being sold to the highest bidder i assure you they would most likely say "fuck no"

screw you man, i have left a neg to the kind of person you are.   (keep in mind trust ratings are unmoderated and user-generated)

So if any of these individuals had predicted that you will do this kind of act, I believe for sure that no one had signed up in your IPO in the first place.
8109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to decide on your cryptocoins? on: January 23, 2017, 12:19:11 PM
Maybe the title isn't as obvious as i want it to be, i wanted to know from people already investing in cryptocurrencies how to decide/research which coin is worth the money and which is not, what does it take for a coin to look successfull, strong code? Dev support? Most importantly, how to decide where to invest rather than taking advice on what to invest into.

The heart of any cryptocurrency can be found in the spirit of its community. Therefore, look carefully at the community.

If you have a growing community all other challenges self-resolve.

I agree with MicroGuy! So it means that you need to do some research/investigation before investing to any coin. Reading the forum or related topic to it will somehow clarify some of your doubts.

Another altcoin in the making. I wonder how this coin will gonna compete the others.
And 40B yescoins!! Shocked

Btw, the video says nothing at all in terms of what the coin is all about. Hopefully, the dev can come up to a better ad video that can at least explain a lil bout yescoin.

But, great idea of combining the 3 dominating currencies into 1 digital coin!   Cool
8111  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: signature campaign vs social media campaign, which is more effective? on: January 23, 2017, 07:16:39 AM
In my opinion, signature campaign is more effective than social media campaign.
Using sig campaign platform, your audience is already into the crypto regime - meaning they have been using the cryptocurrency already or starting to learn the digital currency. So they are more eager to know about what you are advertising to them.
Whereas, social media campaign has advantages of reaching out to a larger community. However, very few will take the bait as either they are not knowledgeable enough or they are not keen on dealing with cryptocurrency.
8112  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC Price Question on: January 23, 2017, 06:44:07 AM

bitcoin is not centralized and there is no central place to dictate the price of it to everyone else. the price of bitcoin is determined based on supply and demand, and this only shows itself on places where you can actually buy and sell (supply coins and demand coins). and that place is an exchange service.

also i have to say places like google, coindesk, preev, bitcoinaverage, bitcoincharts, bitcoinwisdom,.... take their prices from exchanges through their API call. for example they take all the prices (5,6 places and then take an average and report that price.

you can but the difference is rarely that big for you to make any profit this way. the method you are describing is called Arbitrage trading which you can read about more on the internet. but in short it is not possible to do it as you are saying because of the fees, the time it takes,...

and to sell on a site, you don't only look at the price, you also look to see if it is trusted place, if it has the fiat withdrawal/deposit that you want, if it accepts your country,...

I agree with pooya87. BTC is not centralized so it's up to the btc exchanges how they will respond with the supply & demand of the BTC at that moment.

A good  reference site for the Arbitrage trading is - http://www.coinrates.info/

But you need to think & decide fast, else you will lose that transaction!
8113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ORO] OroCoin | Desktop Client/Wallet Released! | Trading on NOVA Exchange on: January 23, 2017, 05:43:21 AM
Watching this coin if it will really live up to its banner as the GOLD standard of the cryptocurrency.
A lot of other coins are newly-launched so the dev needs to try harder on how to outperform the others.
Also, hoping that this coin will be listed in more reputable exchanges such as bittrex or bitstamp  Wink to add credibility for this coin. Talking about its current value, I don't know how the dev will vindicate this coin as the "GOLD" standard. It seems that, it is just like an ordinary coin for me trying to get its market share.
But for the moment, will just monitor how this coin will counter the rigorous journey of a crypto coin to become successful in the community.

8117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - v1019 - ZCASH STRATUM zogminer on: November 05, 2016, 05:49:36 AM
Is website https://simplemining.net/ currently down ?

it isnt down? it has a nice white page for hours now! that is the super great idea that does not let you even see the os and everything thru this webpage that is also the several time that his website has shut down also so while its shut off you cant see shit! also while your mining you still cant see shit! so if he wants to he could be snyiping hash very easily! he has shown on several reasons that he like to hide things and not show what needs to be shown to a upfront and openly honest OS
8118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - v1016 - ZCASH STRATUM zogminer on: November 04, 2016, 07:23:41 AM
Also, please do NOT hide the zcash mining details. There must be a way to show on the terminal screen what's going on with the zcash miners. Why hide it? What's the point of running the miner threads when you can't see what's going on?

i agree fully
