Bumping this thread up. Hardly any data was lost in the rollback.
1142  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: January 23, 2015, 07:16:27 AM
I updated the OP before the crash and it seems to be lost... I have to do it all over again. Great...

Gah. That's a damn shame.
1143  Other / Archival / Re: delete on: January 23, 2015, 07:14:12 AM
Alright. It's not a massive amount of data loss, anyway.

Huh. He doesn't seem inactive, it was probably self-requested. Thanks for the info.

I kind of disagree, the first page of his post history goes back to April 2014. Obviously, few posts does not necessarily indicate inactivity, but it is a pretty good sign.

Oh! I didn't notice that. Yeah, I'll take that back then...

@JarvisTechnology: No, a local board mod stepped down and Mitchell took his spot.

I believe hilarious said they get paid proportionally to their activity/reports dealt with, so I wouldn't worry about unfair compensation. I would assume he notified the rest of the staff before taking a leave of absence. Even if he didn't, 3 weeks isn't that long, sometimes you just need take a break from the forums, not a big deal unless it lasts more than a month or two.

edit: Hilarious beat me by a minute, pretty much the same thing he said.

Yep. I remember when this was clarified (by theymos I believe) quite a while ago as there was quite a large Meta thread asking about the transactions to staff.

@hilariousandco: Wait, really? There have been demoted staff recently...? I haven't noticed...though I guess you wouldn't if they're inactive...only one I've noticed is John K. but that was a while ago.

Don't worry lads, they have an official logo:

Hello everyone,

Sorry that I haven't posted anything here lately, but my internship is consuming almost all of my time. These are the final two weeks, so things are getting busy and stressful for me. Rapports have to be written, code has to be checked, presentations have to be made, etc.

I will try update the OP somewhere this week, but please don't expect anything, because I can't promise you an update. After these two weeks it will be smooth sailing, but for now, please bear with me.

My opinion: I would bear with you a lot more happily if you'd take that advert of the front page.  As long as you're selling this thread, you should keep it up to date and not complain or say things like "don't expect anything".  If the advert is gone, then everything you said is very reasonable.  Again, just my opinion.

That's...the most dickhead thing I have heard someone say on this forum this month.

Donations amount to almost nothing for this thread, I'll bet. And he gets around 0.02 BTC every 10 days from the ad. That's hardly reimbursement for his time anyway. It's not even intrusive.

New Update:

- Bumped FortuneJack's Trustworthiness rating from a C+ to a B-, currently watching interactions regarding the casino to see how trustworthy it is.

so far no problems with FJ, either with deposit, withdraws, bets or sig campaign

Yip, that's why I'm slowly upgrading their rating. They're just not quite as popular as some of the other websites.

What do  you think of : https://diggit.io ?   This is the forum thread :   https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=879161.0

Thanks for your attention,

They're not quite at 25 pages but I think I'll allow them to scrape into the thread. I'll write up a mini-review and add them in later.

Log in works. Won't be using it though, seems a tad dodgy to me as these are definitely hacked. Thanks anyway.

Well, I got one. I'll test it when I get home.

Oh yeah, of course. It does state that I reserve the right to review casinos as I wish and ignore rating change requests, and obviously I'll be taking all requests with a pinch of salt.
1157  Economy / Gambling / Re: Overview of Popular Bitcoin Gambling Websites [Updated 18th Jan] on: January 20, 2015, 08:03:36 AM
Can I ask you why have you put also crypto double ?

I marked it F, no? It's there as a warning to people about Ponzi schemes, though I think I'll remove Ponzis.

Of course, I'll be retesting casinos @Mitchell. I'm also hoping people will use the template in the OP to help me out.

Thanks! I just hope it gets enough replies to become large enough to sustain a 1st page position, else it's just going to be buried...it needs more Wink
Good luck mate! My thread sometimes dives into the deep, but is always resurrected by the users following it. I hope you will have the same luck as I do.

You have quite a large following now though, don'tcha? This overview is still a fledgling while yours is more of a falcon, haha.

Updating OP later today when I get to a PC (on mobile).

You should be able to link to Sythe here, there's no rule against it.
