941  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CloudThink.IO removed management pictures after being caught with stealing on: June 01, 2015, 06:20:12 PM
If you're the PR man, then do some PR.

I have to agree here. The b/s "we do various things" excuse shows that you're either a scam or you don't care about your investors one bit. If you truly have large investors...have you told them about what you do? Surely you would have to increase their confidence somewhat, right? So why won't you do the same to Bitcointalk...?
942  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I want to start BTC pool on: June 01, 2015, 06:18:16 PM
You can't just throw your money somewhere and have a BTC pool started, there's a fair amount of knowledge required in running one. If you're looking to start one to mine on, I'd recommend you simply decide to use one of the already-up mining pools. If you're really determined then you're going to have to do your own research in all fairness.
943  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Warning about Carra23 - on: June 01, 2015, 04:49:02 PM
Another anonymous warrior. Well, I don't blame ya I suppose, that's fair enough.

I trust Carra though, I don't think he'd have any reason to have alts. He's a pretty stand-up guy and I'm fairly sure he gets a decent enough revenue from managing signature campaigns that he wouldn't want to risk that for...this...?

DiamondCardz (new add, probationary)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8c5wmeOL9o

I really hope that I'm understanding how the Trust system currently works and this isn't going to end up making me look dumb (well, at least not any more so than usual).

Seems like a perfectly fine use of it for depth 1's to limit who they add to depth 2 and use depth 3 as a testing ground. That's my 6th adding to DefaultTrust depth 3, actually. Smiley I guess you could argue that yeah, that means your decisions won't matter for anyone on default settings, but I guess that would be good if you are actually having someone on probation to keep them on depth 3 and not depth 2.

(Already on depth 2 as a note so don't worry about moving me up to Tier 1 too much)

Edit: Out of curiosity, why is BCB Tier 1? Didn't he stick tracking pixels in posts, and hasn't he vanished from Bitcointalk now?

Do you use (or have) also a PGP/GPG key to sign all the escrow agreements? just asking.

Going to put one in the OP soon, atm I'll sign any contracts I make with my main Bitcoin address so that there's at least some level of security there rather than nothing. Surprisingly though I haven't had any impostors yet.

I don't see any difference between Bitcoin signed message and PGP signed message except there is digital timestamp in PGP signed messages.

There isn't really, people just seem to prefer PGP. I suppose it's easier to compromise the security of a Bitcoin address than getting your PGP private key, but to be honest I don't see a massive security difference between them. And I guess PGP dumps are automatically formatted nicely Wink

Edit: PGP Public Key is up.

Can i be your first costumer I was unable to do payments for the signature campaign of cryptommm i filled spreadsheet before leaving my house.
you have to check spreadsheet available here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1P9S6KOVuhfQ_IR8T4DGXNMvGoCoeUUZNlxb_hd8PSgw/edit#gid=0 and have to do payment given by me for 30 May.
you have to send 0.0624 BTC to member according to given amount i think nearly 10+ people
please let me know your address if your are available.

Sorry as I said I'm not going to deal in signature campaign management and I'm also opposed to doing any escrow work for Ponzis/HYIPs, so sorry but I can't fulfil that request for you.
948  Economy / Services / Re: Diamond's Free & Reliable Escrow Service | Small fees only in certain cases on: May 31, 2015, 01:39:03 PM
Opening a thread after declining? This was quite a surprise. Best of luck and be safe!

Declined cloudthink.io's request but turns out a few people think I would be decent as an escrow, so I decided I might as well open a thread. Nothing to lose, s'long as I don't pull a redsn0w, right? Wink
949  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ndnhc[resolved] on: May 31, 2015, 01:34:08 PM
No, Carra is right redsn0w. Your posts are, excuse my language as I can't really put it any differently, "fucking worthless". Your posts consist of going along with whatever feels nice and is going to get you the highest up with the most active members and it's both a drain and a bore to have to watch you constantly do that. You aren't posting your opinion, you're posting other peoples. You went from believing he was an extortionist 100% to believing he was innocent 100%.

And yeah, this thread should be locked.

Diamond's Free & Reliable Escrow Service

A couple people wanted to see this, so here you go. I'm offering reliable, free escrowing services to help try to reduce the amount of scams that take place here. Some services will have small fees simply due to the large amount of hassle required if a scam were to take place, these will be basically all escrow services at which a large number of people are at risk.

Tip Jar: 171717Lqgyi88sqSqRtToFYUYmJqeq5Bui

I provide escrow for transactions involving Bitcoin and all altcoins on Cryptsy. Yes, I use Cryptsy, I am not downloading the wallet for UWOTM8Coin just for you.

Situations where fees may be applied

Signature campaigns - 1% fee. Note I'm not going to manage your damn campaign, if you want that ask Carra23. I will just provide escrow for a fund bank to be distributed in case you scam. I will not distribute from that to your members monthly, that's the job of you or your campaign manager with separate funds. Your escrow fund must be at least the maximum obtainable reward that your signature campaign could give out.

Situations with 3 or 4 people - 0.25% fee. Hassle to deal with if something goes wrong.

Situations with > 5 people - 0.5% fee. Hassle to deal with if something goes wrong.

That's all folks, enjoy.

Muhammad zakir is also trustworthy according to me if he is available for escrow then he will be my second choice for escrow the funds after DiamondCardz

Sorry I've declined to escrow this for various reasons that I won't name on this thread as I'll respect that it's self-moderated. So yeah, I'm not an option that you can list. Sorry mate.

mirjangka sent me a PM telling not to post in his thread. If I don't stop posting, I will be banned.

Yeah that's a dealbreaker, not offering my services if he's now making local thread rules to stop people from criticising him. I'll make sure to tell him why I'm denying his escrow request in PM.

Thank you!

Another problem aroused for mirjangka.

I'd like to ask some opinions as Cloudthink has asked me to escrow. Under the terms I'm thinking of they would have to do the following:

- Make at least three more replies to this thread;
- Escrow an amount of at least 10 BTC, in the event of them absconding excess would be used to repay Cloudthink investors - this would essentially double as an escrow for the website.

That sound fair or should I not do it? They might not even agree to that to be honest Tongue

I really hope that ndnhc can prove his innocence now and these claims are proved false. I have interacted with him in the past and he seems quite decent and trustworthy and this claim (if proved true) would make me trust absolutely nobody from this forum. It's surprising that one can trust a newbie who has just created his account on May 10th and has 4 posts with one post predicting after the contest ends. May be the newbie must have had a personal grudge against him or against dadice.

Personally by now I think he's been framed, the things he's brought up in his defence are quite convincing and to be honest I don't think he has much of an incentive to scam for a measly 0.1 BTC. I encourage Vod and QS to also consider changing their ratings to neutral for now until a definite conclusion is reached like I have.

So true. He being a campaign manager and trying to extort $25? It's surprising that people even believed it without a thought, claiming that he was not in charge of the funds of his campaign and he was involved in Games & Rounds to earn few bits and hence he can rob $25 as now Dadice is a possible scam site. I was thinking of using him as an escrow once when I dint trust other members here.

It's not the first time that one trusted member has been framed as people have also accused theymos before.

Yeah, I suppose so - at this point I'm just going to try and keep out of the whole thing. I'm kind of confused :s I'd rather just let all the other DefaultTrust people deal with it tbh, can't be bothered anymore.

with some luck

All betting strategies work "with some luck" because gambling is literally a hobby that requires just that - luck.

martingale can give you chance to multiply your funds fast so i dont think its a bad strategy if you know how to use it

There is no way for someone to correctly "use" martingale, you either martingale or you don't. All gambling strategies can multiply your funds fast, that's because you're gambling. Your points apply to all gambling methods equally.

Does anyone know how long one of these would last? Let's assume that conditions are near-perfect and the hardware isn't subjected to any dropping, hitting, extreme heat, etc, and that it's being run continuously. I'm just curious, understandable if no-one is able to give a solid answer to a question like that.
960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: May 31, 2015, 09:34:54 AM
Of course everyone thinks martingale is an amazing tactic, but they forget that due to its nature you will experience exponential growth of your wager, and once your wager is like 25x times your starting bet you will feel the heat. It's not a fun tactic to use for more than a minute.
