1161  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: when the second november shipping knc??? on: October 31, 2013, 11:56:00 PM
I am 100% sure about that, I've seen the Jupiter and order number myself.
Order number was 66xx, ordered immediately when the price went down.
Since it is already in hand, why don't you disclose the real order number instead of 66xx?
1162  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: when the second november shipping knc??? on: October 31, 2013, 10:20:19 PM
Yes they shipped earlier. I don't have it myself, but I have a friend who received it yesterday.
You are sure about that?
I have early october orders and I don't see anything changing on their website.
What was the order number of your friend?
1163  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 31, 2013, 10:10:15 PM
Taiwan Semiconductor is the world's largest dedicated independent semiconductor foundry.
They are only 1 step behind Intel.
But Intel is going to start producing chips for other companies.

TSMC is feeling the heat, thats why they are in a hurry to build new plants to stay competitive.
1164  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Little Single PSU is dead on: October 31, 2013, 09:48:41 PM
Yes, it will start up when you power up your computer.
I am using Corsair CX750M and Cooler Master GX750 PSU to power the singles.
Each PSU can power 2 BFL singles and they are pulling 490-520 watt at the wall.
I don't like to jumpstart the PSU's, instead I bought 12 PSU tester to jumpstart the PSU's.
I bought them here.

If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen.
Cheer up and have another fucking pizza.
1166  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: USB hub for block erupters on: October 30, 2013, 10:19:47 AM
5V*2A=Max 10 watt.
Your usb hub won't work with more than 4 block erupters.
Probably max 3 block erupter otherwise you get a lot hardware error.
Each block erupter use 2.5 watt at least.
And be carefull with cheap adapters. They get really hot and might catch fire, they're not design for block erupters, but for normal use.
1167  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL Single air flow? on: October 29, 2013, 07:58:05 AM
The form of the tunnel is very important.
Look at the last picture, the drawing I made in blue is from the side angle of the metal sheet.
The air has to be squeeze though the fins of the heatsink.
The plastic foam I put on top of the metal sheet has 2 functions.
1. Absorb the vibration of the air going through the fins of the heatsink.
2. Make sure air is guided through the tunnel, air is forced to take the easiest way through the tunnel.
The cover of the single has to stay on, or it won't cool the heatsinks on the bottom of the pcb effectly.
If those heatsinks on the bottom of the pcb is not cooled enough, your singles won't last longer than half a year and your hashrate is dropping.
1168  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL Single air flow? on: October 27, 2013, 11:38:22 AM
The form of your tunnel is very important. A venturi effect work the best with case on.
You probably has the case off.
Really dangerous for overheating the other components on the pcb if  you don't have a fan
Blowing at them.
1169  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL Single air flow? on: October 27, 2013, 09:00:19 AM

I removed both the 92 mm heatsink fans.
I cut a big hole into the intake and exhaust plates. (See photo, the single at top right)
I cut a metal sheet from a cookie can and bend it into the right form for the venturi effect.
I put plastic foam to reduce noise.

I put the cover on.
Temperature is almost 10 degree Celsius lower than original singles.
Only if you bend the metal sheets in the right form. You can bend the metal sheets in different form to see that it has a big impact on noise and temperature.
After a few days I decide to change the fans speed by putting an electrical conductor to reduced the noise even further.
The white intake fan don't work with an electrical conductor, you have to change it with your own 120 mm fans.
How ever the black exhaust fan that come with the single don't have problems with an electrical conductor.

Almost no noise and still 2 degree lower than the original temperature.
And it is recommended to put the cover back on unless your setup also can cool the other components.
There are so many design flaws with the BFL singles that it can be easily overheated and catch fire without the cover on.
1170  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 24, 2013, 09:38:24 PM
KnC over delivered.
It would be nice if they ship the november batch earlier.
No more waiting for more than a year for your gear like BFL singles.
1171  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Initiative to help Simon Hausdorf to clear things @ bitcoin-24 <-- SIMON READ IT on: April 13, 2013, 10:50:52 AM
I don't think Simon Hausdorf is arrested.
There seems to be some testing activity on his website.
And then this sentence on his website.
"We will back with Bitcoin-24 2.0 on when all declarations are finished."
He probably starts to see that restarting the trade engine is no longer an option
He was already searching for coding solutions on the internet before the site was shutdown.

Personally I think the Polish authority frozen his bank account to prevent money laundery.
I have withdraw multiple 5000 Euro per day without having myself verified on his site.
I can't do that on MTGox or BTC-Central without myself been verified.
On MTGox you need to verified yourself to withdraw 1000 Euro a day and if you want to withdraw more than 1000 Euro, you need
to send MTGox a apostille of your passport.
If he co-operate and redesign the website to prevent anti-money laundery, his polish account will be set active again.
"Our lawyers are working with high pressure on a solution."
I think this is the reasson why he need lawyers working on a solution.
This mean all users need to be verified if they want to do bigger transactions.

These are my thoughts and I hope I am right about it.
1172  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The bASIC Refund Tracking Thread on: February 26, 2013, 10:57:33 PM
I wish you the best and luck.
It never come into my mind that you are a scammer.
You tried your best.
I guess everything went wrong when one of your employee announce a change in design.
From 2*6 asic per cluster to 2*8 asic per cluster.
Too late and to frustrating for all the people involved.
I hope you will still stay into bitcoin as a miner or whatever.
Good luck
1173  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 20 reasons because Tom/Cablepair is a scammer. on: February 25, 2013, 10:11:11 PM
I don't think Cablepair is a scammer.
I think he was just unlucky to run into some kind of trouble.
1174  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL: Chips have shipped, on their way to US on: February 22, 2013, 06:14:21 AM
@Micon
Will BFL deliver ASIC at the end or not?
1175  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Someone just ordered 8 BFL FPGA singles under my name... on: February 03, 2013, 11:34:23 AM
I odered from BFL and Avalon with the same email address.
I haven't received weird emails from one of them.
Simply check the email headers and look where the email real coming from.

Here is another cooling concept.
Already licensed the technology to partners.
We will see this within a year

Amazing technology, has a huge future in ultra thin devices. Only concern is the noise it will make.
It will make less noise than coolers with a fan and it use less energy.

($13.50 - $10.50) / $13.50 = 28.5%

My calculator must be broken, it shows something different.
I think you mean ($13.50 - $10.50) / $10.50 = 28.5%
