Pcfli, have your circuit breakers replaced with not made in China circuit breakers.
Although they are rated 100A, they are actually 80A and are heat sensitive if they have run for a long time.
The 100A circuit breakers made in China are about 80 Yuan, buy in Hong Kong quality circuit breakers, they costs about 500 HK dollar and safe you a lot of headache.
The ones made in China will run fine for 2-3 months continues and then they will start to destroy your equipment, they are not made to run miners.
Miners are putting all sort of equipment to their limits.
Under normal conditions, the made in China circuit breakers are fine and can handle peak of 100A easily, but we are talking about bitcoin miners now and they are putting everything at their peak.
Put a small fan to cool your 100A and 400A circuit breakers untill you have replace it with quality circuit breakers.

I have never compile binary code in my life before.
Can someone point me in the right direction and what software is used.

The Dragons use CGMiner 3.9.0
I want to compile newer version of CGMiner to work with Dragons.
What kind of program is used to decompile the binary code?
And what kind of program is used to compile binary code?

I already know how the different versions of the Dragon image works and where the hidden files and hidden folders are.
I have not seen the Dragons mining and sending encrypted packages back to a Chinese IP address.
It is not possible to overclock the Dragons, because they are already overcloked to the maximum using lesser chip quantity.
However it is possible to underclock the Dragons to be more power efficient.

I want to use a newer version of CGMiner to see if it hash better than version 3.9.0
I will upload an image with underclocked config and if I can learn how to compile newer version of CGMiner to work with Dragons I will also upload
this.

Thank you for your time

Do not pm me about your miners down or other problems, I have no relation with www.easy2mine.com or with pcfli.
Pcfli should have claimed www.pcfli.com instead of www.easy2mine.com, I am in no way responsible with your miners down or other problems.
I will not respond to those pms.
The average temperature is dropping fast the last week in China, I myself had never problems with miners shutting down because of overheating problems.
The only times I have to shutdown my miners is because the electricity company is installing a new electricity meter and when I was pulling cables over from another house with a fixed rate of 0.56 yuan.
664  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Dragon miner 5 TH on: August 15, 2014, 10:06:29 AM
This is a SCAM.
It is Innosilicon who refuse to lower the chip price.
No manufacturer is going to use 40 chips per 1 Terahash.
Beside of that, A1 chips using 600 watt per 1T is impossible, even with 40 chips.
665  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: August 15, 2014, 06:55:28 AM
Even if you had faster running ASIC, he will still makes it look dark.
I am not a customers of ST yet. I have admire their enginering skills from the beginning.
If you took the time to look closer how well designed the case is and easy to mass deploy a big
farm with SP 30 is, compared with all the other options out there.
Saying that their chip is bad with no proof except telling that you have some skills is hard to believe.

Great price Huh
what you talking about ?
I have 6x1000 TH/S 1000 Watt with almost no profit.
$1000 that's joke  Grin

To all newbies don't be stupid DON'T buy.
With difficulty growing so fast  you will pay more for electricity  Cool

I met XBETC several times in person and they are very nice persons.
Mining is not a guarantee to earn more than you invest anymore.
You have to use your brains now to survive.
If you can't afford to loose or don't have the ability to stay ahead of the rest, you should stop.

672  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: 20ph increase in btc mining network on: August 11, 2014, 02:42:51 PM
@philipma1957

Your analysis are most of the time very well thought and good, but you forgot miners who can buy in bulk.
Up 50 Th in 1 go get a reasonable discount, but these whales that come into play now, build their own miners.
Which is incredible cheap to do in China.
They shipped them with pallets to their farm with low electricity costs.
The small guys who bought their gear expensive and have high electricity rates are pushed out of the mining game, which will decrease the difficulty a bit in favour of the big whales and the other small miners who have cheap electricity.

At the end these bastards take a big cut from the pie.
Even for miners with a few hundreds Terahash who don't have electricity costs below 10 cents are having tough times.
673  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Broken module 1T25 for Dragon Miner 1TH/s on: August 10, 2014, 02:03:43 PM
When you restart your miner, the faulty module hash normal for a couple minutes and after a few minutes you get strange hashing speed?
If that is the case, your chips are not burn, but probably your VRM acting strange and need replacement, you can ask someone who has the right tools and skills to check your module or take it to a repair shop.
674  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Instruction]Detailed manual for Dragon 1T Miner on: August 07, 2014, 09:33:27 AM
This is an image of the latest firmware of the Dragon miner with Chinese, English and Russian languages.
The IP is 192.168.1.101
The username of the password protected page is admin and the password is empty, you can change that when you login to the Raspberry.
SSH login into the Raspberry with pi as username and raspberry as password.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/14a66jqudfjkulw/Dragon_192_168_1_101.7z

I have change all the LKETC logo with my own logo.
675  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: www.lketc.com 1TH Dragon miner direct order. 3000$ on: August 07, 2014, 08:50:41 AM
We found the machines are sending back encrypted packets back to a Chinese IP address, the packets are encrypted so we are not sure weather its sending back hashes or somethig more sinister.

We have re-wrote the lketc dragon miner software our self and found the units to be hashing 10% more, so likely stealing hashes from our power.

i will release more proof and our clean dragon miner software after more tests.

I am in The Netherlands at the moment, I can't make an image of the latest firmware of the Dragon miners that are password protected.
Can someone upload an image that is password protected?
I need it ASAP, I found a Dutch sotware engineer who can reverse engineer it.
I will tip him if he finds the password and stuff that don't belong in that image.

Good luck to your engineer, I wish him luck and he's going to need it Smiley

I haven't contact the Dutch engineer, instead I try to see if it was possible to do it myself before I call help.
I had to start as a noob in Linux.
The LKETC password was not the most diffecult part, the ghost files that replace any files you have change back to the original files every time
after a reboot are.
After I found out the password, I found an easier way to change the password, simply replace the file "shadow" with your own username and password.
This is a standaard Linux trick, so next time you run into a firmware that is locked and you have control over the SD card.
Backup the SD card and replace the password and username in the file "shadow" with your own password and username.
It takes only 5 minutes instead of hours.

All the LKETC firmware use CGminer 3.9.0, the only difference between them is the languages files.
The first versions only have Chinese, the later version have English added and the last version have also Russian.
The ghost files in the latest version is more trickier than in the first version.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/14a66jqudfjkulw/Dragon_192_168_1_101.7z

This is the latest firmware with all the languages files, I change all the LKETC logo with my own and added a password protected page that I have
learn here.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=650114.msg7277745#msg7277745

The IP of the miner is 192.168.1.101
The username of the password protected page is admin, no password, you can change that when you SSH into the Raspberry Pi with PUTTY.
The Raspberry username is pi and the password is raspberry.
Once you are logged into the Raspberry.

su root
cd /var/www
nano passwordprotect.php
Change your username and password and save it by pressing Ctrl+x

I want to write a tutorial how you can replace the ghost files with your own customize files and logo, but I am afraid I am too busy to do that
at this moment.

Although Spontoolies Tech SP30 didn't meet their specs.
I want to congratulate Guy and his team for archieving this goal.
I have no doubt that they will improve the SP30 in later batches.

Thank you.

For what... Failing to deliver on most important specs... Huh

He is sarcastic...did you notice...

Admit your failure, SP-Tech...Admit it...apologize ...and compensate for it...

Otherwise you would lose the most important...the TRUST of your customers, ...which is the fastest way to the abyss ...like your favorite example...KnC...Capisco... Huh

Sincerely,

ZiG

I am not sarcastic.
Have you ever took your miners apart and do some repair work on miners from other manufacturers?
I have.
Most of the competitors deliver unreliable gear and you have to know what you are doing to get it working again.
Spondoolies Tech deliver State of the Art technology
Although I don't have anything ordered yet from Spondoolies Tech, I will order in the near future, because
I know this is the end of the road for 28 nm technology, there won't be much gain in speed and effeciency unless you add more chips and undervolt it.

I praised Spondoolies before and I praised them again.
Thank you for letting me know you are the first to reach the limit of 28nm Sha256 engineering.
I know how to invest further thanks to you.

I can asure you that they those miners to sell.
679  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Coincraft Desk not recognizing the 3 200GH/s modules in it on: July 27, 2014, 06:23:25 PM
Hi
Do you have a clean image of the sd card?
I run 3 times into the same problems with the Dragon 1 T miners.
I can access them via web and ssh, but they will not mine.
Problems are solved when I flash the sd card with a image that is not corrupted.
The bitmine rigs are similair to the Dragon 1T miners, they both use A1 chips from Innosilicon.
The sd card can be corrupted by turning on and off the power.
I hope this solve your problems, otherwise I don't have a clue.
680  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: ADVICE - Anyone running a Dragon Miner on a 192.168.0.xxx setting ??? on: July 18, 2014, 12:00:56 PM
If you can log into the web interface, but can not mine then your default gateway is wrong.
I have multiple internet connections here in China, most of them don't give problems, because you can
change the settings in the modem yourself. I have recently add another internet connection.
Cable internet with internet television from China Unicom, you can't change settings in the modem they
provide. The default gateway is set to 192.168.88.254 in this modem, I can't get the miners work on this connection.
At the end I plug another router behind the China Unicom modem/router to get it to work.

If you can't change the settings in your router, then you might in the same situation.
If you need more help.
Post more info about your setup.
