oh, redis cache is resized to 10mb when there's nobody online, due to respins, but production will not run into this problem.
163  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon ASIC Store - BitSyncom on: February 18, 2013, 09:16:22 AM

I got mine as well, thanks Yifu/BitSyncom!

spiccioli

verified the status of the order no 200000846.
No response from support, although there were many complaints.
The last conversation - the question was asked to me, I will wait for the device or your money back, I said that I would wait for the device and since then no response.
Neither support nor online or who really can say nothing.
the last number to contact support - Ticket ID - 291.

Before payment can be asked to pay the November order or not.
Payment has passed and you have confirmed it but do not change the status of the order.

The main question - I'll wait for the device or not?

That's up to you, but like I mentioned, you are the LAST person in batch #1, there's tons of things to do before I get to you.
164  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon ASIC Store - BitSyncom on: February 18, 2013, 07:02:17 AM
For the record, I also got a confirmation, and I deeply regret calling Yifu a scammer. He's not a scammer, I'm just a jerk.

No hard feelings, we are pretty tardy on the situation too, but as indicated in this thread when we finally get around to the TODO of tickets: it is serious business.
To everyone else, feel free to pm me the emails you used to order in batch #2 but yet to get confirmation email.
165  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon ASIC Store - BitSyncom on: February 18, 2013, 06:22:09 AM
nothing as of yet, since I'm still sending them out, however once I say something like "Ok I've caught up with all the walletbit tickets and sycn'd up the system" if you still haven't gotten a confirm email you should probably send me a pm with your order email. ( you can do this anyways. )

Never received an order email, order numbers, or anything like that, just a response from walletbit saying the payment was "ok" and I should "await a response from avalon". I was not registered as a user on walletbit, I just did their quick pay. I did send the payment link I used off to you in an email (it was stored in my history after I paid).

Quote
Sorry for not getting back to you sooner but I am able to confirm that your order has been successfully paid for. It appears the information is correct but Avalon will have to verify this with you personally. If you could contact their support desk they should be able to assist you in final confirmation of your order. If there is anything else I can do for you please let me know.

huh, really? pm me the email you used to order, I'll check it.
166  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon ASIC Store - BitSyncom on: February 18, 2013, 06:17:46 AM
there was, but due to several issues when it happened I do not think it carried out its intended purpose. those who have gotten the new shinny confirm emails for batch two can send a reply stating their shipping choice.

What does it mean if we haven't received a confirmation email?

MHm. Let's try again. Will batch number 2 second pre-order (Feb 18, 2013) ship the same date as the batch number 2 first pre ordrer? (Feb 2, 2013) ?

Yes, same time frame. orders are shipped in order of their payment, there is especial cases like developers will get priority in shipping however.

You mean confirm emails from you? I never got it.

I did just say that I am in the middle of sending them few post ago.

Wow, it seems everyone wants confirmation emails, not just me.  The rampant entitlement is just astounding.

Of course they do, don't confuse their questions with your entitlement.

What about shipping method (EMS, DHL and others) for batch #2?
there's a drop-down when placing orders to choose.
I'm sorry, but I don't remember, was this option at Feb 2 orders?

169  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon ASIC Store - BitSyncom on: February 18, 2013, 04:59:23 AM
No, I didn't change my mind.  I just want an order confirmation.  That's all I want.  But apparently that's too "entitled." (I'm from batch #2)

Right, if that's all you want then: there have been a stickie here for all customers to get confirmation from walletbit, it was stickied for 2 weeks. Did you send a ticket in?  Walletbit has taken cared of all the tickets that came in, for those who did not get confirmations.

but apparently that wasn't good enough, and you feel entitled we must give you one ASAP because it takes 1 person less than hour! Else apparently until we do we are thieves and scammers.

so I laughed at your assumptions and entitlement.

Confirming orders for people that have opened tickets is not technically hard.  It would take 1 person less than an hour.  The fact that they have been refusing to do this very simple thing for weeks now is ominous.  I paid them $1500. They owe me a confirmation. It is not good enough to put this off on Walletbit.  Walletbit doesn't owe me a product--Avalon does. If I never get the product, Walletbit will not be on the hook. A confirmation from Walletbit is worthless. As far as I'm concerned, until i see that confirmation, they are nothing but thieves and scammers.

it was a good chuckle.
170  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon ASIC Store - BitSyncom on: February 18, 2013, 04:44:39 AM

that's the definitions of entitlement, there is no such purchase contract, thus the definition of assumptions.

Beware all prospective Avalon customers: Yifu thinks that after you pay him, there is no purchase contract.  Buyer beware.

haha. more FUD please, you can get your confirmation from walletbit, it just happens to be not "good enough" for you.
laughable for you to come in and call people thieves and scammers. Oh man, that was a good one, back to tickets.

LOL assumptions and entitlement.

Yes, isn't it strange that someone that has parted with $1500 feels entitled to a confirmation and eventually a product. So entitled...

It's called a purchase contract, because me doing my part ENTITLES me to you doing your part.  Or else refund my money.  Please try to understand this basic premise of business.

that's the definitions of entitlement, there is no such purchase contract, thus the definition of assumptions. while I would love to refund you money and get this over with and save us both time, but did you fail to read on the no refund part as well?

172  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Help with choosing a UPS / power conditioning setup for 4xAvalon V1 machines? on: February 18, 2013, 04:25:23 AM
the units are 620W max, I mean the power supply shipped it's a 650 Antec, so buy UPS accordingly.
173  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon ASIC Store - BitSyncom on: February 18, 2013, 04:23:42 AM
Question for BitSyncom.

I sent in 4 support tickes now and no one has responded in months and not evne had a response. I have a ticket pending since oct last year one in Jan and one this month and one in DEc last year and no response to any of the questions asked about batches and orders and also my broken order from batch 2

pm ticket number.
174  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon ASIC Store - BitSyncom on: February 18, 2013, 04:02:25 AM
Is it so difficult to send email notification to all customers, who placed orders at Feb 2? And there will be no questions about it anymore.
it is easy as hell to sent bulk confirmation emails, But

we are not taking any chances and manually confirming instead, so walletbits word is good as mine.

I know most of my answers are the same to each and every one of you guys but the question has already been asked dozens of times. Avalon 2nd batch orders are only being confirmed through Walletbit. Thats it. Opening support tickets through avalon wont do you any good. Sending him PM's wont do any good. Work with Walletbit. They can confirm everything from your order to your shipping address. All of this information went through Walletbit.

That seems to be in conflict with Yifu's post this morning:

they are actually being sent as we speak. pm me your order/email

it is being confirmed by walletbit, I'm saying to those who did not get either, can get in touch with me so I can double check. since I now have time are in front of the PC starting from yesterday until maybe next weekend where then I am needed else where.

BitSyncom,
As long as I want to order some Avalons when batch 2 reopens, I will ask you to confirm following:

1. Will you send us a letter notifications when batch 2 shall reopen?
2. Are we going to be able to trade-in lancelots? The trade-in is not still available on the store
3. Ca we pay as guest using walletbit - transfer BTC from our wallets?

I am waiting for your responses
Thank you

1. yes.
2. not yet, but it will be. trade-in has a higher priority than regular batch orders when it comes to shipping, except we are still trying to figure out what is the best way to handle this.
3. yes, this has always been true I think there was some false information spreading around about that.
178  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Kano vs Bitsyncom on: February 16, 2013, 05:21:44 AM
BRAVO! Grin Thanx!

Any chance of a batch 2 order confirmation spree in the near future?

yes, we are getting to that once we secure a shipping channel, many business like us has items in custom bottle neck as CNY ends, so we expect some problems once custom reopen when holidays are over, once that's taken cared of, we'll get to batch #2.
179  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Kano vs Bitsyncom on: February 16, 2013, 05:13:45 AM
It's the weekend as promised, CNY is ending and shipping is going to resume shortly after, in the mean time before this we got organized ( not really organizing source code but things like how we didn't initially have the repos on github so there was other misc related work. )

Here are the source codes

https://github.com/BitSyncom/cgminer
https://github.com/BitSyncom/cgminer-openwrt-package

Ok.

Hey Bitsyncom, could you please post the source to your modifications to the GPL licensed cgminer code?

Thanks,
Con.

will do once organized, We have no intention to not disclose the source code.
