221  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: is faucethub.io scam? on: April 10, 2020, 11:27:23 PM
Like the others say. It is not a scam. You can use faucetpay as a micro processor for faucets. I use https://expresscrypto.io/ which is similar to faucethub. It has offers to fill out and website owner section so you can payout your users if you own a faucet. You can chat there as well and it also allows you to level up your account too. Even ptc level up your account there. Smiley
222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are comfortable investing in government controlled investments on: April 08, 2020, 09:03:34 PM
I agree with you. If the government is involved I certainly don't want to be. As you say just look at the banking system.

Don't be sad. Bitcoin is not weak. It doesn't need to be bailed out by the government and banks. No more bitcoin will be created unlike the infinite amount of banking notes they can just print out at anytime. If you want a share of bitcoin you join in on the mining and earn some or simply buy some. No hand downs around here that's for sure. Be proud to support bitcoin. There are many fiat currencies out there that only go down in value and never up. Have a look its scary.
223  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: These Anti-KYC Stuffs Tiring Non-Techies Up on: April 08, 2020, 08:55:19 PM
Never give your KYC to anyone. They don't need it. If a crypto-only exchange wants your KYC then stop using it. Only give your KYC so crypto to fiat transactions and only if you know the company and who runs it. Trty to use a local exchange so if something happens you can stop it.

The only time you need KYC is when you dealing with large amount of money. So large in fact that if you were making that amount you wouldn't need to launder the monety since you earning so much. $2000 a day or more uses KYC for example. Anything else is just abusing KYC. Bounties and stuff that use KYC are straight-up data mining.

Just remember someone can visit you during the night with your KYC info. Probably won't happen but knowing it is possible doesn't help me feel better. If they want your KYC then ask for theirs. If they refuse then you refuse its that easy. The exchange I use for crypto to fiat is local and the owner's identity is known thus I have no issue with their KYC.

If the entity or person asking for your KYC will not give you theirs then stay away. There is no reason to tell a stranger who you are. You taught as a child not to tell strangers where you live never mind a full ID and selfie.

If exchanges find out that you're faking your name and your KYC details, best they can do is freeze your assets and close your account.
If you've already managed to deposit or withdraw some fiat under fake credentials, the exchange in question may pass the details it has about you (such as IP addresses, bitcoin addresses, etc.) to law enforcement to cover their own asses from an AML point of view.

You can always use bitcoin ATMs but the fees aren't worth it, IMO.
Agreed, but there are other options which don't require KYC which have minimal fees, such as BISQ or localcryptos.

Nope. Read their ToS and use it against them should they do something unwanted on your details.
That sounds great in theory, but in practice most exchanges have such an all-encompassing Privacy Policy or ToS that they can essentially do anything they like with your details or documents. Take a look at https://www.coinbase.com/legal/privacy or https://www.binance.com/en/terms. The list of people they are allowed to share your information with includes pretty much everyone, from marketing agencies to data processors.

I have read them and it is scary. A legit exchange would never do such things. Coinbase is a  faceless organisation I think? Who even owns it. I will never ever use coinbase. I would rather a dangerous criminal stole my ID book then have it floating around online.
224  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC got stolen. Once again! :/ on: April 07, 2020, 08:09:57 PM
You should consider yourself very very lucky you only lost $60 and not $6000.

I want people to understand something. I am not totally against piracy and it has its role to play essecially with gaming. There is not ways in hell for example I will buy every single final fantasy game. I bought a few and I think its enough money for the company. The problem is when people profit off of the sale of cracked software.

However....

A few things you never do is. Used cracked security software of anykind. No keysavers/clipboardsavers/antivirus/antimalware/passwordsavers or anything related to the storing of sensitive data of any kind. You can lose all sorts of things. Your gaming accounts your accounts connected to currencies like paypal or bitcoin or skrill or anything else you make have that is worth something to someone. If you use cracks and things know the cracker. Don't just download anything. Know the crack team. Don't just be a dumbass and download anything that says crack in the title. I have never had any security issues on any of my computers for any reason. I have had attempts and password resets but nothing serious.

I believe if you need software but honestly have no funds to purchase it then using a crack is ok. But if you can afford it then support it. The best thing to do is use a cracked version until you make enough money to purchase the real version. I strongly recommend you buy the software you use since it stays up to date. WIth cracks you need to wait for the crack team to update and sometimes they never do. Even if the crack team has done nothing malicious the code they changed may have created an unintentional method of exploitation.
225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why I sold my 0.67 BTC!! on: April 07, 2020, 07:56:56 PM
Bro I don't think you owe anyone any explanation why you sell your btc, you bought on your own and you decided when you would sell for cash and in this case you have a pressing need of which many people in the world are facing at the moment, you should be glad you have some btc to sell, many people don't  have anything like that and so they face hardship.

Yes, the virus is wreaking havoc on the economy. I feel very bad for many people who work in the industry and help make the product we use daily or at least often. Everything is just shut down. When I go to the shops and there are not many cars around it honestly makes me think of Apocolypse/armageddon or like there will be zombies are something since there so few people around. I often ask myself I wonder if this what it would be like if something even more serious happened. It is really scary. So I try just work and play games. I don't want to think of all the bad things the virus is bringing. I guess the OP had some reasons to sell so many bitcoin. They most likely had a debt to settle. The pressure of that and the fact of the virus caused them so sell probably.
226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Recent Corona Virus Scams on: April 07, 2020, 07:31:19 PM
People who do advertising like those websites that have offers and tasks to od to earn bitcoin/currency the offerwalls and things like that. Survey unlocks and offers have asked their members not to even use the keyword corona. I have not looked since but I am sure you are not allowed to use the word virus. Otherwise, people will say stuff like "I have the virus!!!" then further down it says "I would have had a not bought a (insert product/offer here) Basically to bait you.

Personally I don't really want to hear about the virus so I stay away from it online. I do hope the virus will make people look after the environment though.

The most annoying thing about this news is that they are requesting for Bitcoin as payment, it’s very annoying, why don’t they request for payment in fiat and stop ruining Bitcoin for those of us that loves it? Lips sealed. This is really annoying to be sincere, now when they keep doing this it might cause the government and the world to see the cryptocurrency community as a bad one and try to stop it.

These foolish hackers and scammers are really bringing us a bad name, I wish there was a way track down these people and capture them so that they will pay severely for the crimes they have committed.
It's not annoying, it's a smart move from them for choosing an untraceable means of payment. Using fiat as ransom money will just get then in danger and they don't want that thing to happen at any less of the situation so they are with bitcoin. What bothers me is that these people are trying to scam even they know how the life for a normal people in this kind of situation with pandemic and market collapse, It's very cruel on their part, they can't excuse that they are also needy this time. I'm with bitcoin no matter what happens, but if bitcoin will be widely use for this kind of doing over the world then I'm out.

How can you say its untracable? You can trace it you just cant link it to someone easily. IT doesn't mean it is impossible. A scammer will use fiat and just use an account and close it afer being paid so the money cannot be paid back. IF they use paypal they will empty their account before you can do anything. I knew someone who worked at a bank and they were telling me there are ways scammers open all kinds of accounts using all sorts of methods and even using just some random person as their bank account and offering that person a cut. It might not be as direct as you think but I assure you it is not impossible and bitcoin is not totally untraceable. You can monitor wallet for years after the crime and make an arrest 10 years later if you need to.

They only ask for bitcoin because those scams use the latest trends to exploit people. It will be bitcoin or anything else that is valauble. A scammer exploits the latest technology because they know not everyone is up to date with it and they can confuse and trick new users more easily. Though to be honest in 99% of cases the person being scammed deserves it for being an idiot.
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is breaking the law and will be sued by Craig Wright on: April 07, 2020, 07:25:17 PM
How come people are so interested in what he says? Is it because he is amusing? Much like the way a clown amuses a child? I can understand that  Grin I want to sue the USD and get USD for sueing it  Roll Eyes
What law is he talking about though? If he is so serious about this he would know exactly what law was broken why and how. Basically this is like wanting to sue a stop street sign. Did he even speak to a lawyer? A lawyet would tell him to shut up.

I think Craig has a mental illness that causes people to lie and say anything they have to for attention. People do it online and you probably know at least one person in your life that does this sort of thing. Tell wild tales for attention. This guy shouldn't annoy anyone though. He is a clown so take what he says and the honks of clowns horn.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] [MCV] MyCryptoView - Crypto platform open to everyone - PHASE 2 on: April 05, 2020, 07:55:23 PM
Ok thanks. One more thing. We are on a 24 week bounty which is very long. Will we be paid during that time or only at the end? Such a long bounty is a big risk if you do 24 weeks for nothing.

Have a nice day everyone!! xD
229  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [NEW] - EarnX.eu - PTC | Offerwall | Video's | Direct & in-direct referral $ on: April 05, 2020, 07:35:53 PM
This is a very nice website I just wish there were more ptc ads. The onclick ad is also a bit annoying. The website is high quality. One of the best here and there are many different things to do and earning methods.
I just really hope more people join it. There not yet enough ads to make it worth it but 16 a day is not too bad. I think you also need more payment methods. Paypal is no good.
230  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: ✅[Official] |⚡️MoreMoney.io⚡️ | Faucet, Shortlinks, OfferWalls, PTC Ads and ... on: April 05, 2020, 06:38:25 PM
What a nice script. Did you make it or buy it? Its very attractive I love the purple. I think you should let people move their earned bits to their purchase balance so they can use it to advertise. So many websites don't allow you to do this and it is annoying. IF you do it then you won't have to pay people out since they will use it as advertising but at the same time you could force them to withdraw but what about those who do not. Double edged sword. Or you can withdraw and redeposit but that's ridiculous.

231  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Money-Clicker.com - CLICKER MINING GAME | PASSIVE INCOME | UP TO $1/CLICK on: April 05, 2020, 06:15:35 PM
how long days to wait?
It has been already asked several times even OP can't tell or provide a date when the new project will be launched. So just wait for his next update. @fufufuwu will let us know if it's ready but I'm expecting it would be this year. Since he said they needed more time, it could be a couple of months.

... and it could be a couple of weeks .. or a couple of years

No that won't be the case. Unfortunately due to COVID-19 the work is slower than it would be, we need to take care of the close ones that are especially in need.
Most stuff on the frontend is already in place, backend still requires some work. We will keep you updated when the progress will go forward. Take care and stay safe!

blablabla... we waiting to long time...

Dude, what's your problem? Can you make your own website? No, you can not because if you could you wouldn't be giving this person such a hard time. It hasn't been very long just be patient.
I am sure the new website will be awesome and have some better features. I personally would like to see better ways to earn that do not include clicking so much or having too many ads displaying. The OP said they would see what they can do about these issues. I am pretty keen on finding out how they will address the issues and what form of montonization they will use.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] [MCV] MyCryptoView - Crypto platform open to everyone - PHASE 2 on: April 05, 2020, 06:10:01 PM
It's a quite complex bounty. I visited the website. How can you separate stake for ★ Creat a post (KYC)★ and ★ Creat a post (NO KYC)★ bounty?

We understand it may be complex for some people. However, we encourage people to go through the instructions carefully, and if they have any questions, they can ask, we are always happy to help at any time.

Answer to your question

Everything is tracked on the website for those that have done KYC and make a withdrawal we have a record of it.
For those that don't want to do KYC, they will have to signup on https://tokensale.mycryptoview.com/ as well, and select content under bounty campaign tab then submit their invites as per the instructions. I hope that helps, if not give us a shout!

Ok, so I must just carry on like I have been and send reports to the website? I am just making sure. I hate KYC and it is against crypto and I am glad you have a no KYC info. I don't believe people need to know who I am and I don't need to know who they are. Knowing who someone is doesn't stop people from doing things they should not. I have been scammed by people I have personal info on and the bank said they will open a case and did nothing more. It just poses a security risk. If the team won't pass KYC or KYD (know your dev) then you can't expect us to just tell you what we look like and exactly where we live.

To that I would like to add that you are doing a very good job. Communication is great. Things are explained well and are transparent. No bs and no tricks. You sound like a decent person with good intentions and I see I already have balance added to my bounty account on your website. Also having your own website to submit bounty is very professional and much easier and less stressful for both hunters and you guys. I don't have to worry about my stakes not counting which is a huge relief. I love the idea of the project and I would absolutely love to earn crypto teaching people. I was helping someone on youtube the other day and was thinking what if I was paid to do this?

I see on the website Minimum Purchase: 2 ETH, is this not a large amount and is there a discount to buy MCV tokens at this time

I agree. I think they will make more by letting smaller amounts. Maybe 0.10 Eth.
233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Store your bitcoin on: April 04, 2020, 11:35:48 PM
The crypto markets will rise again after several months says who? Your crystal ball?

The halving is in under 2 months, miners won’t be selling much due to the low prices, the supply of coins is cut in half so it’s very likely that the price will rise fairly significantly before the end of the year.

The OP doesn’t need a crystal ball to predict a rise in bitcoin once this COVID-19 rubbish is over.

How'd you say so? Unless you actually have proof from miners themselves whereas they said that they won't be selling. Not saying that that's impossible, but unless you know for sure, we're just merely speculating(which brings us back in the 'predicting' zone). Also, a halving doesn't automatically mean we're going to have a price rise especially in the short-term(and possibly mid term).

I find it hard to believe that most cryptos that are worth anything will not go up in price. This is still the beginning and I believe crypto will mostly go up in the next few years with ups and downs in between. Some may settle at lesser value but I still believe more in the price going up then down. There so many reasons for me it is mainly the future new users adopting to the currency and we still have not gotten to the point where companies use crypto as stock options and when we do that will set off another crypto hype and rightfully so.
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin during pandemics on: April 04, 2020, 11:29:42 PM
As we can see in the graph the pandemic corona virus has a large impact in the market price, because this virus is easily transfer from human to human by just coughing and touching the infected objects. The coronavirus also effects all the currencies because many people are just stable in their houses so that the price of every currency are going down. I hope that this crisis will end soon and everything will get back to normal.
That is happening cause people are starting to panic buying means, lot of people now are pulling out their investment and spend it for their own safety as you can see, crytocurrency is not alone, stock market is literally crashing right now and a lot of other markets too are suffering. This is a world crisis and many country will suffer from economic lost because of this. If this pandemic is going to stay for a long period of time lot of people are going to suffer not just with virus but in poverty too.

When it was early march I remember going on the stock exchange to see how it had effected compared to crypto. The stock exchange looked like a crypto exchange the stocks were dropping so fast. It surprised and concerned me and I freaked out. Nothing is certain about these troubled times but I am glad to see bitcoin stabilized sort of. It is not at $10k but remembers it was jumping between 6 and 10k before the virus.
It would be nice if a relief fund was started by crypto for the virus. Instead of just these scams.
235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if BTC never reaches all time high? on: April 04, 2020, 10:59:56 PM
So what? It doesn't matter if it doesn't reach ATH, as long as BTC still exists and is used or traded or invested, IMHO. Prices will always be there, volatility will be there, as long as demand and supply flood the market. We can know that ATH is not really the final destination, because new peaks and new valleys are always dynamic, taking advantage of existing patterns.

I am sure, one day the previous ATH can be exceeded, when? I don't know, no one can guess for sure, just limited to speculation. Sooner or later even relatuif, it's only a matter of time. The problem is we miss a lot of opportunities to get profits.

I think many people are upset they lost out when crypto was still very new just after 2010 but in foresight, it's easy to say that. Even if you flip a coin and get heads not tails you could just say to yourself you should have picked tails. I think most people that talk about the price high are wanting a second chance at glory but they should not forget at other currencies too. When crypto really picks up and tokens have real-world value and tokens act more like stocks in a company then those tokens will soar in price along with the new project that backs them.
236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now is a good time on: April 04, 2020, 10:56:37 PM
Yes,maybe now is the good time  to use bitcoin because of covid19 but nowadays has no assurance that it will boast the value of bitcoin because many people at this time is much concern with their daily needs to survive and to fight corona virus. Many people would not think about investment nowadays although it is good to use bitcoin now to send money because many remittance center are closed.

I think the most problem with the virus is not the virus itself but rather the effect of the economy. The economy was doing very badly before and now more so then ever. I think though that this lockdown might
bring with it some new opportunity. One thing is for sure the planet is loving it and for the first time birds can be heard in China which is so sad.
237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would You Rent A Car With Bitcoin? on: April 03, 2020, 06:47:23 PM
Bitcoin is an effective feature of payment for anything so yes I agree bitcoin will work well for renting a car. I am sure there are many places that allow the rental of cars with crypto. It will be great when
one day we can use crypto to pay for rents and ride. Imagine uber had uber token and you can use it to take rides? That kind of idea would work best.
238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people here would choose bitcoin as their form of payment? on: April 03, 2020, 05:33:18 PM
The places I work online already work well for me thanks to bitcoin. I am able to be paid easily in bitcoin. There so many ways to be paid and most of the websites are enabling bitcoin and even other crypto as a payment option for withdrawing. Payment processors like payeer and webmoney already include some of these options.
239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and illegal activities on: March 26, 2020, 11:26:03 PM
People need to get smart about things and not fall for silly scams like they do. Crypto being used for illigal activities is one of the few things people who dislike bitcoin can use against it. People are always doing that. These are not reasonable people to begin with and their opinions should be void. I've never heard of a drug dealer accepting bitcoin xD People say you can buy drugs with bitcoin. You can also do that with fiat and online too. The bank won't know what you are buying they will only know how much you sent. A bitcoin wallet can be traced so it is more risky.
240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin a failed experiment? on: March 26, 2020, 11:14:12 PM
You look like the typical Bitcoin newbie.
At a 10K USD bitcoin price and a bullish trend, you "believe in the future of Bitcoin".
At a 8.5K USD price correction and a possible bearish trend, you don't believe in the future of BTC anymore and you start whining that the price will go to 1 USD in 12 months to 18 months. This just isn't serious, man.
If you wanna sell everything, just do it.Panic selling is something normal, unfortunately,I've done it before.
Stop whining and act like a man.
The question "Is bitcoin a failed experiment?" has been asked 134934565 times on this forum and every time  it's asked at a bearish trend, when the price was falling.Bitcoin is here for more than 10 years and it isn't going anywhere near 1 USD or USD price.

Yes, They only love it when it's doing well. The OP doesn't know what they are talking about and are judging something because it's not doing what they want it to do. If bitcoin just went up and never down then you could never get a chance to get more bitcoin for a cheaper price. So many new people think of bulls but not bears. Both can become profitable. It's s short-sighted mindset. I did panic sell but I did so since I also needed the fiat. It was a painful thing to do something you know is a bad idea but have no choice.
