401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cyber criminals are using Youtube to install-Crypto jacking software on: November 30, 2019, 07:15:46 PM
All I can say it that I am glad that I use eset nod32 this makes me feel good and confident. The next is that I am glad I do not own Monero since the dev team said their own wallet could be infected and used to mine in the background of your pc. Most of this is malware and is not installed and just runs in the background. All you need to do is leave the page.
402  Economy / Economics / Re: Top Three Emotions to Check to Succeed! on: November 29, 2019, 10:02:16 PM
People are emotional creatures and succumb to these emotions. Fear is a big one. Noone wants to lose or miss out. Greed combines with fear is a deadly combo. Before you trade you need to clear your mindset and change the way you think otherwise you might lose a lot of your investments and that will just make things worse. Some projects or place even take advantage and market your greed. It is this greed that fills their pockets.

403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest Shopping Mall in USA Goes All in BTC ATMs for Holiday on: November 29, 2019, 09:46:25 PM
Having the Bitcoin ATMs there is all good and well, but if the people are just buying to spend it at merchants that would convert it to Fiat, then it

would have zero influence on the price. True adoption needs more P2P trades without these ATMs adding high fees for the transactions. Do not get

me wrong, I am not saying it is totally bad for adoption... I am just saying that it is not the ideal method to put bitcoins into people's wallets. Now

the shops in the Mall should just give extra discounts for people paying in bitcoins...then we will see good adoption taking place there.  Wink

This is true. I see btc ATM machines as a big waste of time. It is much easier to just have a QR code at checkout. You could print a qr code onto the till slip for those customers who are using bitcoin to pay with.
It is very cheap to accept bitcoin. An ATM is a huge machine and it has to be filled with fiat which as you say defeats the purpose and does nothing for the price of bitcoin. I would give extra discount if I ran a shop and people used bitcoins. Smiley
404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming on the blockchain - What do you think? on: November 29, 2019, 09:41:44 PM
There has always been a lot of interest in blockchain gaming. The idea of taking your items from one place to another is the way to go and having your items worth something is good idea since this is what we want and we paid for them. It will be very much like steam trades work but with every single item and it will be held or withdrawn into wallets. There is so much potential here and there have been projects before but so many of them failed. For sad. Sad Thankfully there are a few games out nothing serious but it is a start.

Well it isn't impossible but I have mixed feelings about it. I remember back in the days when Facebook promoted its Facebook Credits for in-game purchases. It didn't last for even half a decade.
Common games these days have their own sort of currency in-game to buy exclusives and that makes game and blockchain can co-exist with each other.

Oh right!! I forgot all about FB doing that. We talking far back now. Smiley
405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your take? on: November 29, 2019, 07:33:47 PM
Next year, bitcoin will be halving, so I expect growth, some altcoins in the dollar will grow too, it seems to me that now we are near the bottom.

I know, this is why I want to get most of what I want to keep in bitcoin ready for that time. Halving didn't change the price if bitcoin much the last time, there were many other factors involved.
I strongly believe halving will affect the pricing of bitcoin and the other crypto will grow along with it as it usually happens when bitcoin does well so do the rest. I hope eth has new growth and encourages better tokens to be born instead of this shit storm of scams.
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you stake? Exchange or wallet? on: November 29, 2019, 07:29:45 PM
Never ever trust exchanges to stake. Firstly you will never know if the taking some off the top since there is compounding interest. Secondly, there is the possibility the exchange will run an exit strategy or something happens and they go offline you lose everything. If you do not have the privatekey with you in your wallet then you do not own the coins. The privatekey is with the exchange and you are at their mercy.
There only reason people use exchanges is mostly for staking with masternodes since they are very expensive.

Both, some exchanges do not support particular tokens, or exchanges are just trustless. The majority of my coins is placed on different wallets, but I am also holding stacking coins on exchanges like Binance or Huobi.

What are you talking about? It certainly is not trustless.
407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why invest on a project because someone said they are good? on: November 28, 2019, 10:28:41 PM
You don't. Who is this "expert" why are they an expert? What is there history for investments? Where they right before? Could they be right now? I think in general you must not invest because of what people say but if they have good things to say that make sense and you have checked it out and agree then maybe you should invest. Don't invest in you have a bad feeling. You should only invest when you are confident in the investment.
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Easiest Way to Make Money with Crypto? on: November 28, 2019, 10:07:15 PM
If you say money you mean fiat? Then sell your crypto. That is the fastest way to get money with crypto. If you mean earning crypto that is different.
Investing is the easiest way to make money with cryptocurrency. When you are an investor, you don't need to deal with too much stress because of the market fluctuation. You just need to choose the right cryptocurrency to invest in for long term and make sure to keep it on a safe wallet so you can sleep well at night knowing that you are secured.

Are you sure about investing ? 99% of investors, that invested in projects from Bounties (Altcoins) disagree with you.

You are also saying that investors don't deal with stress - I'm sure, that all everyone who invested in crypto during ICO and sees how the token/coin price is going down straight after listing are taking Prozac immediately.

He doesn't know what he is talking about. It is going to be stressful since trading is stressful in nature. You are risking crypto you worked hard for. If you have made your money back then you can feel better and sleep soundly at night. Until then it is stressful. Those projects that price drops strait from listing are normally not very good projects. There is not reason to buy the tokens since you can do nothing with them.
409  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scammers on Youtube. Don't fall into this scam trap and lose money, guys on: November 28, 2019, 09:59:11 PM
Anyhow, here is a fresh list, have fun reporting
~

Oh, feels so good clicking the links and seeing only 2 channels surviving and the big ones going down.

Lately, the whole scam seems to have lost momentum, I'm finding less than 2 or 3 a day, probably it's not lucrative anymore or youtube is reacting faster or both, good news anyhow.

Two that are still not nuked and have tons of subscribers (32k, and 213k)

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSOxgx5hOJ-cX448XW1WyGg
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvYdKJpqVzWK_p4LC7vPaeQ

Please help with a report to bring this farce to an end.

Yes, I am glad people are doing this and I am glad it is working. Hopefully whoever checks the report on youtube end will pass the info on so there are less of these guys signing up.
There are many ponzi schemes on youtube I have noticed. Most do not stay up for very long which I am very pleased about. I really don't understand why so many people fall for these things.
Maybe I can understand falling for a ponzi like bitconnect but these others.
410  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are Airdrops worth participating in? WHERE to find all of them? on: November 28, 2019, 09:48:38 PM
I understand that Airdrop is a scam?

No, they are not. You should've google what is airdrop before posting here.
Airdrop is nothing but giveaway with X winners.
Unfortunately, not every participant will win that's the truth, but you have a chance.

Not every airdrop. People blindly do every airdrop and don't realize they are often helping scams advertise. Look at the projects and see if they worthwhile. If they half way worthwhile then take a gamble on them.
If it seems like a scam or a shitcoin then you can skip it. You will save much more time and the outcome will be better. You might change your mind about airdrops.
The problem is most people do not do this and then they blame all airdrops instead of airdrops in general.
411  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I earn $1 worth of bitcoin everyday? Please help! on: November 27, 2019, 12:59:33 AM
Hello dear members!

I'm new to the world of BTC and I have started collecting satoshis through faucets but I need to earn more.

How can I earn about $1 per day through bitcoin?
find a decent job and stop claiming on faucets cause its not profitable anymore. In my 2 years joining bounties i cant even make 1$ or more per day.   Better to find a good job you will earn more than 1$ per day.
maybe later it can not be expected anymore that some ways to get bitcoin like faucet, bounty and airdrop will be difficult. prepare ourselves to look for job. but so far can still get a few cents, cryptotalk is still good at getting 0.00001 per post on their forum.

Faucet is mostly to learn how to collect referrals and use cryptocurrency. You can make a few $$ each day with faucets. You need refs. You cannot claim from faucets alone you are wasting your time. With refs it becomes worth it. When you are good at getting refs for faucets you can take those skills you have learnt and apply them elsewhere and make multiple times more daily.
412  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Warning] Fake Ledger Wallet Appear on Search Engine on: November 27, 2019, 12:28:49 AM
The problem because of the ads.
This. Google is a terrible search engine for a number of reasons. The fact that they plaster ads at the top of every page would be annoying but not awful, if it weren't for the case that the ads are not vetted in any way and scam sites regularly appear there.

There are 3 pieces of user error here that all have to take place for this scam to work, and every one of them should be easy to avoid. First of all, you should never be using search engines to find links to Ledger, Trezor, exchanges, wallets, etc. Bookmark the correct link.

Secondly, if you are visiting any site, check the URL and make sure you have Punycode enabled. (In Firefox, go to about:config in a new tab, accept the warning, search for network.IDN_show_punycode and toggle the value to true.)

Thirdly, absolutely everyone should be using a good ad-blocker, probably uBlock Origin (https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock).

I guess this also means stop using chrome. I better stop using chrome then and go back to firefox. I am going to follow your very good advice thank you. People should use presearch instead of google maybe?
But google still find more things with more ease then presearch does. It is not fair to compare sine google has been around for such a long time and presearch not. What about brave browser? Maybe I should give that a go. I think it has a built-in ad blocker so that should be a good choice for me.
413  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 10% collateral BTC loan...real or scam? on: November 26, 2019, 11:55:59 PM
You know it is a scam. It doesn't make sense. Why would someone give you 10x more what you give them? That is all you need to know. "happy" users can just be bots or alternative accounts or maybe it is a group of scammers that split their ill-gotten gains at the end of their devious deeds. I don't think telegram is the right platform to find somewhere to get a loan from.

"So where did you get the loan to pay off your new house" "on Telegram" Can you not hear how that sounds?
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: JuSt a wish on: November 26, 2019, 11:50:12 PM
It is not completely necessary to list your tokens on one of those well known exchanges. They are known for charging crazy fees anyway. I think if a project starts on a smaller or lesser-known exchange it is ok.
They can build up their own rep and the exchanges rep together. I don't believe just because an exchange is big that we must just trust them.
415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin never goes past 5-10KUSD again, what is the best action? on: November 22, 2019, 07:04:16 PM
During moon when the bull is out to play you must spend bitcoin. When the bear comes then you must buy bitcoin with your fiat. Always keep your extra money besides the basic living money 50/50 fiat and bitcoin.
Then no matter what happens you can level it out as I just said. Always remember to spend during the bull season so that even if worst comes you have gotten the same value out of your coins as it would have been anyway. I think people forget that. They forget they have been in profit for so long now and have already spend bitcoin on things equal to their beginning value. Most of us are in green.
416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People are underutilizing Bitcoin on: November 17, 2019, 05:32:49 PM
Too many people are still holding onto the idea that bitcoin is an investment and used to increase your USD value or your USD fiat. Instead of being seen as a currency. The one thing I can understand is using the USD value to increase your bitcoin storable, wherein you sell while it is high to buy back more when it is low. This is taken with an increase in bitcoin as a goal and not an increase in USD. Which is how it should be. Too many people "cash out" their bitcoin only to make fiat transactions to buy things. It defeats the purpose.
417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India’s Blockchain Coffee Platform Onboards 30,000 Farmers on: November 14, 2019, 03:10:17 AM
I believe so, you must be mentally ill and sick in the head to want to arrest someone just for using cryptocurrency. I can't see anyone going through with that. They cannot keep it banned they are fighting a losing battle that will wage on forever. When you can't beat them join them right? They will change their mind. Good to see coffee farmers onboard with the blockchain. It is nice to see some serious actions taking place in crypto.
418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is twitter a good source of info? on: November 14, 2019, 03:02:13 AM
You have to be constantly sharing the latest content and the hottest content all the time. You can't just host your own content, no one knows you yet. You need to build your followers based on what you share and the slowly start adding your own ideas and things in your tweets. But do not stop sharing the hot niches since you need them to stay popular and on top of things. You need to think more indirectly then you are currently thinking. Your mind is a bit too one-tracked at the moment. I am not trying to put you down I am just honest. It is a good thing to want to make a twitter account though so I hope you luck.
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are there daily-life applications for Sexcoin? on: November 14, 2019, 02:55:49 AM
I remember when this first came out. I sue to collect from the faucet. It was a different faucet from the others, was not so irritating back before this antibot business. Sexcoin is good as a coin and they were going strong you can see their road map is pretty good and the way the coin was managed and merged was good. Mining was fine. The problem is it wasn't used for anything. In fact other then the name it had nothing to do with sex, and it only had the name because of some ideas. If you visit their site its very outdates. The first "update" you see is from Dec last year Jan this year. -_- Another waste of a good coin.
420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: be careful with projects that offer you great prizes, that is not a guarantee of on: November 14, 2019, 02:43:03 AM
This has been going on for a long time especially with this get paid to programs. You often just earn gift cards since it is easy to send digitally. Now with the help of crypto, you can use bitcoin.
Gift cards are by no means anywhere nearly as useless as a currency that can be spent anywhere.

Generally speaking, there is no guarantee that a project will achieve something, especially when devs are giving away a lot of tokens. In the most cases, such projects are failing to achieve the cap or dying because of the price dump.

I don't think giving away tokens is a bad thing as long as they don't go overboard with it and ruin the currency. They can be very good for exposure. You are going to need to spend currency to get advertising anyway so why not give it directly to the supporters?
