581  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is going here someone can explain to me pls guys on: July 18, 2019, 11:43:50 AM
well you should first try and improve your English skills and try to write a proper paragraph that is easy to understand and then invite people to some other place where you are supposedly "active"!
why would i or anybody else would want to see what you are saying elsewhere when it is impossible to understand what you are saying here?

english its just language mate, it dosen't measure intelligence and its done for a reason.

but it what worry you, so sad to see its your answer.

new people come to this industry' and go to forum like this and get LOST ...

do you know how much people fell to very deep depression and other shit because of crap information on forum like this and other shit forums.

on reddit just say something wrong and ton people debunk you include the mods.

someone said bitcoin sv is great coins after fem min 2 mods said him promote your scam elsewhere not here'.

or shitty accounts' tired to promote libra coin and the mods ever there siad clearly to stay away even everybody know this.

few quality places the mods and great user exposed the scam about tether coin stable and they print their money as much they want.

where the mods here, yet to ban great people they like.

this is how community grow and help new people fast get inside and save them from false paths on the way.

Language is important to convey your message.

People need to learn to think for themselves. The mods on reddit and other places are not people who's word is like law. Why listen to them? I don't see how all these coins can all be scams. I see little evidence.
So many people call scam too quickly. Give things a chance. Don't rely on others for information. Learn facts for reputable sites. DO not learn opininons.
582  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A New Milestone Achieved! on: July 18, 2019, 11:40:31 AM
There are so few people out of the thousands of accounts here that have merits. It isn't really fair. The spread is terrible and many peoples posts get buried in other people posts. Very annoying if someone writes a good post and it gets buried is shitty posts. The next thing is that it is mostly people starting topics that get merit. This is because it is the first message you see. Maybe if you try get your post on the first page of a post where people can see it then you will have a better chance.

The worst thing is I am out of merits so how the hell must anyone rankup? There too few merits to rank everyone. There should be enough for everyone to rank.
583  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BITCOIN TAXES on: July 18, 2019, 11:37:04 AM
As long as you don't convert to fiat you fine. Crypto doesn't adhier to any laws and that is the entire point of it. It is currency for the people by the people. It is not goverment issues. Besides Trump just told us it is backed by nothing and has no value so clearly there is no tax to pay on play play money rigtht.

No government in the world has a bitcoin address to pay taxes too. I don't know why people are so uptight about this. Just relax. Your tax money will just be wasted on build a war around the country anyway.
I believe paying tax is unconstitutional since they piss the money away and it benefits noone. In such cases, you could say that paying tax is not being patriotic to your country.
584  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Its better to have more than one email on: July 18, 2019, 11:31:41 AM
Our personal security is top priority, being cautious are required and we don't want to compromise everything once we get hacked. As what the elders always said "don't put all your eggs in one basket"

Having organize email accounts and multiple crypto wallet are best practices to follow.

If you're having problem to remember every password for every account, you may use password manager.

To name a few,
1. Keepass
2. Dashlane
3. Enpass
4. Passbolt

don't forget to backup your password manager dbase.

https://geekflare.com/team-password-manager/

I haven't tried those other password managers, I use to use dashlane but to restore you need to buy it. SO I use the inbuilt chrome one and it works just fine.

Or if you still want to save your password in notepad at least compress it to rar/zip and get that file a password as the main protection.
This is risky, and depends entirely on which archiving program you are using, and what version of it you are using. Many archivers, and certainly older versions, don't actually encrypt the data before slapping a password on the archive, making it fairly trivial to break in to. If you really want to save them in notepad and encrypt them yourself, then you should do so on an offline computer and using proper encryption software such as Veracrypt. Bear in mind that even if you then delete the notepad file with the passwords saves in plain text, they will still be stored on your hard drive and could potentially be recovered by an attacker.

The safest option for most users without the technical knowledge to do this properly is to use KeePass or similar as initially suggested.

I have used 7zip and it can encrypt in sha256. I wonder if that is the same sha256 as bitcoin mining and if a miner could crack it some how?  Undecided
The ultimate backup you should use is paper. Best backup and last resort. You can asso use OCR software to scan it to make things easier when transferring it to digital form.
585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you be mad if satoshi sold all coins they own right now? on: July 15, 2019, 09:40:12 PM
Nope. Not me.  Cheesy
What if bitcoin hits a low then. Your bitcoin payments will be high.

no and noone should be mad, those are his coins and he has right to sell them

All people will be damaged who invested any money in this market.
the price drop won't last long, I believe it would quickly rise back to normal
in fact it would confirm satoshi existence and a good way to re-distribute bitcoin

I think it will be a good chance to buy more bitcoins. That is if you have the fiat to do so. (I do not) You are right it won't last very long.

I hope they do.  Cool

Quite a few people believe it was a team instead of one person. I haven't research this far, but I trully believe that one gifted person alone, can actually manage to create a technological breakthrough that can change the lives of everyone. I believe that Satoshi is a single person that created everything with his own brilliant mind.

Patterns and technological advances that big corporations claim as their own, are usually build by one individual alone. His contract though, on every situation, claims that any breakthrough he achieves using company assets or data, is owned by the company. Scientists get paid a lot though for this reason. Although they miss the glory in most fields of science and technology this way and their name stays in the shadows.

I really hope Satoshi is alive and kicking and watching his child becoming what he always hoped for.
I read quite a few of his posts in bitcointalk and I only hold admiration for him.

If he is alive and decides to sell, he deserves the wealth. Kudos to him. Still it would have huge implications on price of Bitcoin.

I also think it's a team but I don't think it matters. It does not affect anyone other than the fact it was created. We have a lot to be thankful for.
586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We can't blame crypto and blockchain technology on: July 15, 2019, 07:20:25 PM
This is so true. People murder others with tools. Tools are designed to perform work more easily. Sometimes one person murders another with a tool. Do we blame the tool? Bad tool!! Naughty tool??
This is just blame shifting and dodging responsibility. You can only blame humans. If you mess up you can't blame something else. People will blame everything else before themselves since most people cannot deal with being wrong because they're foolish.
587  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [GUIDE] Don't ask others to BUY BTC for you! on: July 15, 2019, 07:14:13 PM
The problem is that when someone legit comes around that you can trust and makes an offer, no one is interested. They too greedy. 10% per year is too low for them they want 10% a day. Do you see what I mean?
Peoples own greed to take the short route. The poor man will always pay twice. The short cut quickly becomes the longer route.
588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ⚡️⚡️ Do you know about "ULTRA" - Gaming Platform Token Metrics? on: July 15, 2019, 07:07:40 PM
Seems scammy. A massive list of the team and pictures of them?? That is a massive redflag. THe site is like all other sites. It has a fancy landing page with auto scroll. There is a video so they put some effort in.
I see some screenshot of games and a store. Do you guys really think this project is going to make a gaming platform >.< Come on.

Where is their Ann and their manager?
589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Ranking Website on: July 15, 2019, 07:04:28 PM
A bounty rating site might turn out the say way an ICO rating site. Paid reviews or fake opinion based not factual.
THe best idea is to find a good bounty manager and follow the projects they support and manage since they should (if they are a good person) be trying to make the bounty hunters happy and help them earn.
590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fun Facts of Bitcoin on: July 10, 2019, 04:21:29 PM
People may know about these fun facts already but just recently i get to know about few stuff, like 2 pizza's bought for 10,000btc....(worth $30), which could've worth a lot more now. However, it is amazing to see the bitcoin coming long way and making its place in the market and mark in the history.

link below show some more fun facts of bitcoin:
https://www.coinspeaker.com/bitcoin-facts-figures/

@INOEX :
https://inoex.exchange/

I wonder what would have happened without this pizza thing. I don't think you should make a lot of fun with this. Any satoshi you lose somehow today may regret you in the future.

That is what I think too. Todays faucet payouts could be whole dollars in years from now. Faucets at one stage paid 1000 Satoshi each for a long time. That is a lot now. I hope the guy that bought the pizza had 20k and only used 10k I hope the person who got the bitcoin and sold the pizza didn't sell too many coins. He should have just kept them. It was only like $10-$30 anyway so the risk is nothing. (we can all afford to lose that amount) The reward at that time would be unknown but still worth just seeing what happens next.
591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hell how people here cannot know this simple facts damn easy on: July 10, 2019, 12:20:07 PM
Who cares ho made bitcoin? Other than the fact I am extremely grateful to the creator and is like a God to me. But guess what? You can't prove a God of any sort exists because you cannot see one. So trying to find a God is futile.

For all the talk about "dumb people" in your post, you don't really seem to explain your case all too smartly yourself.
Just saying...

I've read it 3 times and I still don't fully understand what you're on about.

ROFL. I was thinking the exact thing. If you wanna throw insults around you best back them up with something that makes freaking sense. xP
592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Need help finding average returns on: July 10, 2019, 12:16:45 PM
I don't understand the question. What interest rates? Bitcoin gives no interest. If you want interest on your coins you invest in POS coins. I assume you mean interest based on USD value? Based starting where exactly?
What base price? There simply isn't an answer to the question. Average returns?? What are you talking about?? In USD?? Based on?

Btw bitcoin is not an investment. It is a currency. Stop thinking about returns. You can't predict it. If you could people would be rich. This graph above me to me is meaningless. If this graph was right then people reading it would all be rich. The questions is flawed.

If you want to make bitcoin this isn't the way. Invest in alts. You can't just focus on bitcoin and that alone. Good luck to those who want to follow that graph though. Let me know how it goes for you.
593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Change Bitcoin to Asic Resistant on: July 10, 2019, 11:36:55 AM
It's too late to change. Imagine all the hardware now that is not going to be able to mine bitcoin. ALtcoins will go up like made if the sha256 algo. It would be interesting though since bitcoin might take an initial tumble due to no miners for a while. So the value of the altcoin won't go up right away. There is simply just too much invested right now in hardware to make this a viable option.
594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can u send fake transactions in bitcoin ? on: July 10, 2019, 11:34:36 AM
Some scam sites like btc doublers fake transactions but they are only visual they don't work if you click them. Another way is to make a fake blockchain and then the transactions lead to that blockchain which you control.
It doesn't really mean it is fake. It is real blockchain but isn't being used.

The correct answer is NO, but some people create their own so-called Crypto currency investment site and then they connect that site with their own internal ledger with fake coin tokens. <Not tokens on the Blockchain> The investors are oblivious to the difference, so they think they are buying actual coins.

Usually these sites do not allow people to withdraw actual coins, but you can sell your fake tokens and withdraw the cash. They charge trading fees, when you sell fake tokens on their internal ledger as if you were buying and selling real Crypto currencies.  Angry

Good answer. Then they fake volume to fool people.
595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: IS there any ICO rating websites we can trust. on: July 09, 2019, 06:31:29 PM
A number of people have said surprisingly. I use ICO review sites and benchmark sites just as research to find out more about the team and the ideas behind it. I don't bother looking at the score but it is a good
a place to go to if you need information.

it is very difficult if you only trust the ICO site that gives a rating on a project, it could be that the analysis carried out by the site is not right, therefore you must understand the project you want to invest, rating is only an assessment of a site and you have to be more thorough about the project you want to invest, because you cannot give trust only from an ICO rating site

That is why I only use it as research and never advice. People may have paid for their good rating. You can also read why they got that rating unless it's a made up reason.
596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The three biggest mistakes you should avoid on: July 09, 2019, 06:28:46 PM
I don't follow signals. Am I a bad trader? I just look at how much I bought the currency for and then from that I work out how much profit I want. If I see it is a good profit I sell. Then I get a good trade and I still have a chance to buy more when the price drops. Otherwise, I don't buy then the price drops anyway. So selling when it is up is like a second chance. Unless your currency goes up multiples of itself.
597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am very Pro Dogecoin – Says Ethereum Co-founder, Vitalik Buterin on: July 09, 2019, 03:35:02 PM
It seems to me dogecoin has a pattern and the price goes up and down. Remeber when it was near 80 satoshis. Then for a long while 40. I like how the token looks too. Funny how a meme can now be worth so much.
In my opinion, dogecoin is still difficult to develop more rapidly. If we see the chart movement of the price of dogecoin from the past it still runs in place.

Dogecoin payment works well. Nice and fast.

Have you seen what Dogecoin twitter say? The DEV wasn't quite, they have developed a lot of thing within this time. I think something big is going to happen in Dogecoin. It will get a huge pump soon.

I think so too. It is a good time to buy so I bought some. I hope to make a good profit from this.
598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Trust a Project Announce BY A Legendary Member on: July 09, 2019, 03:30:07 PM
It would not matter to me. The only need for a higher rank is to post images to make the thread look nice. That is why they buy copper rank to make a nice thread. If you mean do I trust them more? No.
Even if they have very few posts it doesn't bother me. I know it is ok since it will probably be an already active user here just using the new account for the Announcement thread.

That is very true. I have never heard that a good project is determined by the rank of people who promote it. Is it no longer useful website and whitepaper to analyze the project yourself. It is very funny, if there are people when they want to invest, see the rank of people who are promoting the project.  Cheesy
not a rating that might be seen. Her experience holding the project and the history of the projects she has finished handling, it will be a recommendation. like someone who is fanatical about a bounty manager. then he will participate in every project handled by the bounty manager. success or not, we can only surrender to luck.

You should follow bounty managers that try their best to support good and paying bounty. Someone honest who will not have personal gain lying to us or tricking us. They must want the bounty to succeed too.
This will lessen your chances to support bad bounties. It is very helpful if you new or not good at spotting scams or bad projects.
599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anything can be bought by Bitcoin? on: July 07, 2019, 07:18:44 PM
there are still some countries that prohibit bitcoin payment transactions, including my country.
that means nothing can be bought with bitcoin in my country.
but with the increasing popularity of bitcoin in the future, it is not impossible that bitcoin can be likened to a credit card. in the future everything can happen.

I can they prohibit something they don't even know about? Noone knows what mathod you used to pay for something. If the country you live in oppresses its people then they honestly don't deserve your tax money.

Opportunities to buy anything for bitcoins are becoming more and more. I hope that in the next couple of years major online stores will officially accept cryptocurrency for payment. The market will develop and everything goes to this.

There a few major online stores in some countries. I know of coin.ph that you can pay your utility bills with. That's pretty cool and I wish they had that everywhere.
By Bitcoin started buy and sell products in the market many days ago. By Bitcoin can be bought a lot of product now. Example such as, From Overstock.com, any kind of product can be bought through Bitcoin. Many such business entities currently accept Bitcoin as currency and sell their products. Homes has been sold by bitcoin in various countries. By bitcoin can also be purchased product on many online websites, and Amazon and BMW accept bitcoins.

It is assumed that, at this time using the credit card instead of the money, Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency will be used instead of money and credit cards in the future world.

I still prefer btc as a digital gold that be used as a currency for buying products like our basic necessities. If people see btc as similar as gold, it will be viewed as a precious asset because no one wants to use it or sell it and you would rather hoard it and keep it for many years. But if we use it as a currency, then it's just an ordinary as the fiat and its price won't appreciate so much.

Good explanation. It's like an asset you can spend. I like that.
600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin can't be banned on: July 07, 2019, 07:13:41 PM
They can't even ban illegal drugs never mind anything else. People will use it no matter what law is made about it. So you may as well just allow it since it is impossible to fight.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5137062.0

There are many country's where Bitcoin is banned. Crime is there while talking about Bitcoin. Admit or not Bitcoin is the only medium of future transaction. No matter how much law the government uses. Any how people will using Bitcoin.

Did you even read the article you just quoted? That is a gang who stole crypto. Bitcoin is not banned anywhere.
