641  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: strange things happens with my blockchain.info account on: January 28, 2018, 12:32:04 AM
very strange things happens with my blockchain.info account
i know my password and i have the 16 word recovery phrase ... when i check it on https://blockchain.info/wallet/forgot-password?guid say the same password i know for my login
but when i will login my account blockchain info say: "Error decrypting wallet, please check that your password is correct" and i cant login
i dont undertand, please help, i lose my hard earned money
thanks

If you have your passphrase, don't freak out theres solution out there Wink Because with those words as they state it is a recovery phrase because from them you can easily generate private keys and through that claim the ownership of your funds. This is the key feature of blockchain.info because if they go offline or something it is possible to recover your coins. You can also imput these words into some other software wallet that has support for them.

Anyway simply go to this tool: https://coinomi.com/recovery-phrase-tool.html right click save page as and run it in offline environment, preferably if you can get some live OS for extra security as you don;t want to get your keys exposed by any chance. Later on you can sweep your coins to another wallet or import them to another wallet.

Hope this helps mate Smiley!

Good reply and very helpful. There is a setting in blockchain.info to import your privatekey the OP should try this and see if it works. It should otherwise the OP must come back here and we can decide what to do next though I won't really know what more you can do. For a noob it is difficult to understand these things at first. I hope the OP gets access to his wallet soon. OP let us know so we can help you more if needed.
642  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most attractive concept about Bitcoin? on: January 28, 2018, 12:28:33 AM
what makes bitcoin appealing, in other words: what is the "breaking the ice" part about bitcoin that you can tell a newbie in a sentence or two, too pull them into this crypto journey BTC @millzp0

Bitcoin owns!! Just show them the graph and nothing else needs to be said. Bitcoin can speak for itself without saying anything. People who want to judge bitcoin should do their research and they won't even have to look very far before finding how well it works and how strong it is.
643  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin an asset or a currency? on: January 28, 2018, 12:26:34 AM
Bitcoin could be used as both asset and a currency in terms of  being a form of cryptocurreny. But the choice is always dependent on the perspective  of an individual with the views they have on Bitcoin. For people, they tend to used Bitcoin as a form of currency on transaction in such way to evade the process on fiat where Bitcoin technically promises a much more faster and reliable transaction. But for most, Bitcoin is a form of asset that could be used on investment to gain profit and to extend the cspañbity of their money to grow.
Yes i agree on that bitcoin is a currency that can really be used as an asset of gaining i believe that bitcoin is really amazing and we can really gain on it if we used it as an asset of gaining bitcoin is now getting more exciting because it is now really getting more profitable because it i popular and the modern world with the used of internet will continue to promote the  amazing features of bitcoin.

People need to wake up and stop thinking in fiat. This obsession for "cashing out" is absolutely ridiculous. I spend bitcoin directly there are some market here that support it. THere are quite a number of different places that accept bitcoin. It's really picking up and I love it. Just the ease of use and the fact that it is a strong currency makes everything better.
644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best CPU Mineable Coins in 2018 and CPU Mining Guides on: January 27, 2018, 09:09:39 PM
The most profitable coin to mine for 2018 and the end of 2017 for me was and its still is IntenseCoin (ITNS)
Wokring on Cryptonote techonolgy and cryptonighe algorithm for me this was the most profitable coin ever.

I am mining on CPU with only 5 and sometimes 6 cores on their official pool and I make ton of profit only through mining.

Give it a try and check it, I know you will be satisfied with the result Smiley

Anonymous currencies are the trend now , and they have the most bright future of all coins.
Check IntenseCoin bitcointalk ANN and start mining today, you won't regret it Smiley
Mine it and tell me how it goes Smiley

Thank you for telling us about this coin I worked out the profits and it is not bad. I am excited to start mining it. What I would really like is a gpu minable coin that I is stackable too. I really like collecting and saving coins to stake. If you know of any let us please know. Thank you Smiley
645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Automatic Airdrop Telegram - NEVER miss a airdrop again! on: January 26, 2018, 07:22:19 PM
Cool! I got some airdrops months ago. I forgot about them and they turned out to be quite valuable. A telegram like this would be a nice way to also verify the authenticity since people in the group will let the rest know of scams or worthless coins so we don't waste our time. Telegram will work better then a thread for different bounties since it is easier to be active.
646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 1 ETH - should buy alt or hold on to it on: January 26, 2018, 07:17:37 PM
There so many posts here telling you what coins to buy which is fine but I think you have heard enough examples.
Now you just need to figure out how to distribute that ETH. Maybe keep half and take the other half and invest it various altcoins?
Mabe rent a miner on miningrigrentals.
647  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Please Buy a Hardware Wallet on: January 26, 2018, 07:10:14 PM
No oen can take you seriously because you are using a signature for a scammy project. Sorry for that, but it makes my stomach leave my body (literally)
I totally agree. You often hear about people that lost (a lot) of money because they get hacked. Using a hardware wallet is definitely recommendable, but I do have to say that your post is a bit cheeky as well by sharing your referral links. Makes you come across less sincere. (Just on a side note) Wink

Anyway, hardware wallets are always going to be the most safest thing that you can buy.

I prefer to buy a Ledger, instead of buying a blue bottle of Johnny Walker, seriously.

I got a ledger about a month ago and it makes me feel safe. I just didn't feel safe having that many coins on one address. You cannot put a price on safety.
Golden rule is if you have more then a few weeks worth of salary then you should invest in a hardware wallet.

Also backups people backups!! Make many of them and make sure you print some out.
648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My list of Bitcoin forks on: January 21, 2018, 05:52:45 PM
This is all nonesense. Only bitcoincash bitcoingold and maybe one or two others gave you anything. The rest are filthy lies and tricks to get people to make mistakes when they claim their so called "free" coin. Most of these coins have no wallet so there is nowhere to import your privatekey.

You have collected a full information of bitcoin folks. But I don't think there is any benefit of making these forks. All these forks are just shitcoins now as people don't feel any excitement about it and don't even bother of moving their bitcoin to the private key wallet to take advantage of these forks as they are free at the time of forking.

But if their price is decent you can just sell them immediately to get free money.

The price is decent but you can't claim anything. It is a scam. They all claim the same thing and even their websites looked the same. They all say they will have their own wallet "soon". That means nothing.
649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I hate work... on: January 21, 2018, 05:45:32 PM
Such is the crypto world. We have all lost money every single one of us. Many people have lost so much money even small fortunes. The thing is you must not give up. I know this is such a cookie cutter reply but seriously I lost a lot too. It hurt like hell and still does. You have to forgive yourself first if you want to go on. If you try hard enough you will have 3x that amount in a year or so. You must not give up. You learned something now take what you learned and better arm yourself for the war out there.

You have to know de way xD
650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins worth less than $ 1 which will give x 100 on: January 21, 2018, 05:41:03 PM
Try storm token. Right now is a good time to buy. Have a look at the graphs history and decide for yourself. I have some and I am waiting for the price to increase. OPcoin is also a nice one. I know it is a difficult choice with so many different coins to choose.
651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GREAT CRYPTO DEPRESSION on: January 21, 2018, 05:36:13 PM
DID EVERYONE SURVIVE THE GREAT CRYPTO DEPRESSION OF JAN 2018???

Do you know what a depression is? This is no depression not by a long shot. Also don't type in caps.

People act like the world is ending and this happens every single time. The funny thing is the ones who lose their heads on the most part don't even own that many btc to begin with, it's just that there so many of them and their minds are weak.
652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] <808% apr> Drop the Bass!! 17%+ eligible after 8.08+ days on: January 21, 2018, 03:29:14 AM
Thanks vella.

I'm still trying to get 808 coin listed on coinexchange. Their site is moving dns for a bit because some ahole spammed them and now they're blacked listed by spam haus.

I cannot believe how many damn problems every exchange is having.

Realistically speaking. I don't see us trading 808 coin en masse until at least february 1st, but it's very likely it will be well after that.

BTCpop is the only working exchange but price is way too low. I'm going to keep 100% compounding nad working sprouts/coinexchange until either an exchange gets their shit together or I get coinexchange listed.

I think the listing fee is going to be around 1 btc  Sad

PS. I just saw yobit again. They still have a premium listing for 0.10 btc. I can easily afford that, or the big 0.50 btc fee. I'm kind of afraid they may reject 808 coin and take my money though. Has anyone tried using the yobit paid listing before?

If they reject it, they don't take the money. Have tried the .1btc listing multiple times in the past without luck for this coin.

Yobit I think we do 808 coin the world of good as there is always a lot of volume on that exchange daily with many POS coins. I saw what it did for BUZZ coin so hopefully we see the same for 808 coin if we are lucky enough to get the coin listed on there. On another note I have noticed that the network weight has been going up so now its taking a little longer to stake 808 coin which in a way is a good sign as more people are staking and supporting the network. I have a good amount of coins and now its taking around 10+ days to stake when before it was around 9 days max.

ya this same dev did a few coins that stake nicely TEKcoin is one we are buying, it should rise soon imo===>

https://yobit.net/en/trade/TEK/BTC

I also see that. I think I will get it. 2%/day too right?

How many tekcoin do you need to stay well with? I will need to see how many I can buy.
653  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we support altcoins ? on: January 19, 2018, 07:35:58 PM
I think we should support the projects that we like and agree and believe in. THose are the projects we should buy altcoins from. I believe we should give other coins a chance because there are many other things on offer and many services and ideas and if we have altcoins for all these different things it makes sense and it like having shares in the company when you have your share of the total coins available as well as combined with the fact you can also mine.
654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: eth going strong on: January 19, 2018, 07:32:53 PM
Ethereum has a strong position because it is actually used by a large number of people around the world. Almost every new ICO uses exactly ethereum.  Wink

That is what I say as well. The tokens use eth blockchain and it needs it to work so that means there is always a demand for eth. Lately Eth dropped and I don't know why it seemed to drop along with bitcointalk.
655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: December 18, 2017, 01:41:15 AM
I don't think it is better. How w will I send you money if I need to pay you? How will people buy things online and at for work and be paid here?

What are the reasons, why people use Cash or Credit Cards / ATM / Banks?

* Work offline 100%
* No fees.
* Accepted for Food Shopping & Micropayments
* 0 confermations time
* 0 exchange risks
* anyone is able to understanding of the value of payment

Well, you just don't pay cash for sex cams, do you ? O_0

On the serious note - cash is definetely better in day-to-day transactions, but bitcoin as a store of value. For daily payments I would choose something like LTC.

I was also thinking that "but sex cam use btc"  Cheesy
656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BOUNTY] Snovio - decentralized lead generation service on: December 05, 2017, 08:56:49 PM
You still need to update my stakes on the stat sheet. I was already replied to but now I am not sure what is going on. Can I take off the signature or??
657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BOUNTY] Snovio - decentralized lead generation service on: November 20, 2017, 06:46:23 PM

658  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: September 19, 2017, 06:33:56 PM
There is a lot of risk but I think much less then most of her investments esspecially fiat ones. The rewards are high. You can multiply your money if you lucky. If you keep hold of your coins now I'm sure they will multiply in time.
659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese attempt to block all bitcoin transactions on: September 19, 2017, 04:59:21 PM
Let's not all freak out just yet.  People will find ways around this, including the VPNs and TOR.  If those are blocked, I'm sure a lot of bitcoin users will simply move if they have to and still value bitcoin.  I'm not entirely sure why China is cracking down on bitcoin so hard- anyone?
When I think about it, I am not so sure if it would be so easy for the people to move.
China wants to keep the money in China. I doupt they will let their citizens leave on a larger scale and let them take their money/bitcoins with them.
The government  there has blocked the transactions between the lokal currency and the crypto currencies. In case the people would want to leave, I think they woud get blocked as well.
Regarding the VPNs: China will ban them in 2018. I have already read articles about that.

You very naive hey. You should know better you have been here long enough. Dude lol how can you block a vpn ? Please explain how you going to ban a vpn ? They will simply spoof their location so it looks like they still on China but they not. People are clever dude. The more you push people the more they want to succeed. You read articles ? So what ? Anyone can write an article. Big deal.

Then you claim you cannot exchange to fiat or leave the country ? Really ? Lol ok dude. So you can't pay someone from another country to fetch you ? They will cash the btc out in their country. The power of Decentralization. If he mist he can even send the private key to a trusted outside source. Or simply exchange for cash in hand. People get drugs and even larger illigal things in and out of china all the time do you really think fwtronf bitcoin out is a problem ? You can have your wallet on your phone and go on "holiday* and never return.
660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese attempt to block all bitcoin transactions on: September 19, 2017, 04:51:18 PM
Lol hahahhahahaa my sides hurt omg ROFL. China..... Hahahaha they like the Hitler of the cryptocurrency world. How they get uptight. Unless this article is all bs. I find it hard to believe anyone would think you can do this. Only communists would believe such nonesense. Seriously that is like rolling a huge round Rock with greese on your hands up hill with your legs chained together and tiny rocks thrown at you. China is like yes we can do that !! Rally the troops let's go. It's like the pipe Piper leading the rats into the water and they blindly follow one another and drown. Lol I'm not even mad. I use to be but now I find it pretty funny. What's not funny is these are the same fools that contribute so much to global warming.
