861  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: From faucet to thousands on: June 08, 2017, 02:02:04 PM
There are two ways that I know you could reach a 100k satoshi from faucet. First one is very simple by going all in on x2 until you reach your goal, this will be time consuming but still worth a try if you're bored I haven't succeeded in doing this since I don't use faucet. Second way is to join BitSler's lucky roll where you could multiply your bet up to 50 times if you hit the right number.

That would take forever.if you have enough money to level up that high you probably don't need the faucet. Which site is this that it can go up to 100k ? I would like to visit the site and see the wager requirements.
862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do N00b gamblers "Level Up"? on: June 08, 2017, 01:55:45 PM
I think rewarding players to help you do things. Maybe add an option for every tweet you make you get some Satoshi like 5000 maybe ? Other ideas maybe like signature campaign directed for new members and that gives them free credits in your casino. Make the osy nice and if you want a small wage limit to withdraw. But I think you should split the pay half has wage limit the other half you can freely withdraw. Don't Make the wage limit too high. I think it would be an interesting way to bring new players in and it beats silly fwucets which help noone. Rather reward players for helping you.
863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is winning the Race - Bitcoin or Paypal? on: June 08, 2017, 01:52:45 PM
Haha.. funny racing game...
Obviously Bitcoin will be the winner, if you want to compare with recent performance then there is no way to win of Paypal, Bitcoin is getting day by day acceptable and credible in everywhere. Many countries as well as private sectors are going to allow it as a payment tools.so Bitcoin obviously ahead of Paypal...

Yea... What race haha Bitcoin beats PayPal right off the mark and smokes it. This oaypal fees are killer like 7% ?? No way !!
People leave PayPal to go to Bitcoin not the other way around. That speaks for itself don't you think ?

Day by day acceptance is growing. It would be nice to have a website to track this don't you think ?
864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you exchange DASH for cash? on: June 08, 2017, 01:46:11 PM
I have few DASH coins and I think it's about time I exchange few, so is it possible to change dash for cash? If so, how do you do that?

I am not sure if you can directly do it but you can indirectly sell dash at an an exchange. I know yobit trade dash. You can even sell the dash for Bitcoin and cshout into usd all using yobit. Otherwise if you are looking for another way to withdraw your bitcoins as cash then you can use the tried and tested localbitcoin.com
865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if dogecoin value goes 1$??? on: June 08, 2017, 01:43:45 PM
People will be rich !! I remember not long ago doge crashed and went down to merely 19 Satoshi. Now it's over 500 I regret not buying. I knew it would go back up since it has a sort of historical graph but I never expected it to take off to the moon like such a rocket.
866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Newbie creating a portfolio on: June 08, 2017, 01:41:42 PM
It looks like a nice portfolio you have there. I'm going to look up on these coins and learn. I thing €1250 is plenty to start off. S very nice amount. You could profit greatly. I think over the new few months and hopefully years these coins will pay off long term. Also add menero and Bitcoin itself. I know someone already said so I'm just reenforcing it.
867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: June 07, 2017, 07:19:23 AM
For me I use Bitcoin now since it is best and easier and I intend on being an early adoptor and hopefully build enough bitcoins in my wallet to love well one day. We should all strive for this and save while we can.
868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you convince people into you using Bitcoin? on: June 07, 2017, 07:15:38 AM
I don't need to because I tell people about my work and about Bitcoin and they are naturally curious. I think most people I talk to get it.  Those eho do not, well... What you gonna do huh ?
869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: June 07, 2017, 07:14:15 AM
There should be support for Bitcoin no matter where on the planet you are. You need a device and s way to connect online and a wallet. That is all you need to use Bitcoin and that is what makes it so wonderful to use.
870  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: June 06, 2017, 05:14:25 PM
Bitcoin is difficult to explain. I also felt difficulties in understanding bitcoin for the firs time. Let's share how to explain bitcoin to children of teenagers. In My country I can say 98% children don't know bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin can be future money. If the children not familiar with cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how can they face the digital era in the future.
Explain it in terms that make sense to them. For example, if a kid plays pokemon, they know what pokèdollars are. If they are teenagers who play the MMO League of Legends, they know what Riot Points are. Its the same as those, but real. Its basically just a virtual currency with a higher exchange rate than the dollar. As for the syntax revolving around it like "wallets" or "altcoins", you might want to just simplify those into terms they understand. Comparisons are your friend when it comes to children and explaining!
871  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you For or Against "Government" Regulation of Bitcoin. on: June 06, 2017, 02:13:38 PM
I noticed many pro government Regulation of Bitcoin popping up everywhere thesedays it makes me wonder whether fellow Bitcoiners are in support of these people or more focused on accumulating more Bitcoin & Altcoin.
Would Satochi be in Support of Regulation? Are you in support or against?

Also governments are different everywhere and bitcoin is universal. The US government may be okay with managing the accounts of US Citizens, but i personally would not be comfortable with my irresponsible, lazy and corrupted government regulating bitcoin.

I believe having the government behind bitcoin has pros and cons. The government could regulate it and stop scammers. But on the other hand the government could also reduce its value and somehow pry in people's accounts.

874  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: luke jr's solution: make the blocks smaller on: March 29, 2017, 05:05:53 PM
Why doesn't he just have Jesus miracle a solution. Or maybe that's what happened. Me might have prayed for a solution and this is the best thing Jesus could come up with in a pinch.

I don't think he has prayed for a solution. He even proposed a change of PoW, that will kill the bitcoin certainly.
875  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: If mining gets unprofitable will it expose the system to 51% attacks? on: March 21, 2017, 08:30:41 AM
Hi all

I'm new to Bitcoin and I try to find out more about how it works so please forgive me when my question is too stupid for you and try to explain me like I'm five.

As far as I understand mining is essential for the system to work, because without miners no new block can be added to the blockchain.
On the other hand mining gets more and more expensive so that only big miners with cheap electricity can afford it. That makes the bitcoin-system in my opinion extremely exposed to 51% attacks.
Since if only the big miners work on the blockchain they can manipulate the blockchain when the just big enough.

Am I right with my concern or did I made a mistake?
Please help me to understand it better, thx.

Blockchain can't be manipulated. The spreading of the nodes around the world is securing the blockchain system. It makes there are no high trustability nodes.
No, you are wrong. Blockchain can be manipulated. All we need is majority of hash power focused in the wrong hands.

If attacker controls more than 50% of the network's computing power then it is possible to modify or exclude transactions.
In that case transactio

ns can be reversed, double spending is possible. Attacker could prevent other miners from mining blocks or gaining confirmations.

so sooner or later china and bitmain will controll bitcoin

You can also control it if you have enough capital.
876  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: If mining gets unprofitable will it expose the system to 51% attacks? on: March 01, 2017, 05:42:13 PM
I guess it could work, but the question is why would anyone do that? If you had the power to do that, you would almost certainly own a ridiculously large amount of Bitcoin. Firstly, you would spend a lot of money, and you would essentially devalue and destroy your own currency, leading to millions of dollars lost. I can't see that ever happening.

I agree with that. It costs a lot of money to build large farm.
877  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Is it worth to mine with AntMiner S9 with 0.16$/kWh? on: February 24, 2017, 01:40:48 PM
At current difficulty and bitcoin price you'd look at an ROI of about a year, however the difficulty will increase so you might never reach ROI. I don't think it's worth it...
Yes it looks like it, the price of electricity is 16 cents I think is very expensive, fortunately price bitcoin is already $1.000, although the price of the bitcoin $1.000 ideally to get 6 months RoI the electric price must under 10 cents.

It is better to buy the bitcoin directly.

If the difficulty rises 2% every cycle, you will never ROI.
879  Economy / Speculation / Re: touch down to 800$ is near on: December 21, 2016, 07:37:07 PM
Congratz erryone, and I just won a bet on betmoose Tongue
Bitcoin above $800 before Jan 2017
I didn't know that it's possible to make a bet on the price for bitcoin. I would like to make one. I thought it's possible only between friends and that's it.
But yes! Bitcoin crossed the point of 800$ that's great! The next point is 1000$! Cheesy

For the bitcoin, there is no need to bet on the price. You just need to buy and hold and you will be rewarded.
880  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If no one spends bitcoin what might happen? on: December 18, 2016, 08:46:56 AM
You can't compare the usual consequences of massive saving in the current financial system which is intended to impulse the massive consumption of goods and services. The bitcoin price has remained completely detached from economic fundamentals.

On the contrary, I think a massive saving and storing of bitcoin can be positive to impulse the price higher because of the lack of supply and an increasing demand.

True but there is also a bad side on just piling up everything. We know bitcoin is not really that popular yet. Yes it will increase in price but with just a number of users. We need more that will adopt and that can be seen if people keep using it and saying "Hey this bitcoin got a lot of features."

It is better for people to use the bitcoin, but it is not so easy now. It takes long time to get confirmation.
