1021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling could be used to pay for covid problems on: November 15, 2020, 03:59:30 PM
Casinos are obviously a good help to the economy of each country since it's one of the businesses where continuous profit is happening. Many people are wasting money to have fun and to be entertained, and our country will benefit from it in terms of taxes.

People are on their homes because of the quarantine besides gaming, watching movies, gambling is a big attraction because they can win money here, there's never been a time where people are online most of the time, only on this pandemic and many new gambling sites are launching in trying to have a share of the big market, even if the pandemic is gone gambling sites will continue to have a steady flow of profit.
1022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers lose more money than win. on: November 15, 2020, 03:08:01 PM
IT is a faulty thinking walking with belief that everyday gamblers leave card table or slot machine smiling, the opposite happens some days.
You can leave the table still smiling if you know how to enjoy the game

Quote
Wide range of studies reveals that gambling is not that simple, it encompasses both sorrow and joy. Truth is stubborn a lot of gamblers have suffered great loss, ranging from monetary value to real estate. Why gamblers lose more money than win?
That is why gamblers should first learn and understand that they should only gamble what they can afford to lose, if you don't make it your mantra, you will keep on adding funds until you realize that you have nothing left

Quote
Casino Classy Environment: The influence of setup tricks such as beautiful-red-carpet, makes gamblers feel important aggravating passion to bet more and more at the end placing in unbudgeted money.
Casinos do this because you are their cash cow and they want you feel comfortable so you will prefer to stay on and bet more, people always want to be in a place where they are very comfortable

Quote
Failure-To-Walk-Away: Gamblers spirit failure to walk away after win game, instead bet further with hope of more wins until the won money is finished. In 2009 survey findings by researchers from University of Stanford in California, found that around 92% of people who do casino gambling are addicted.

It has something to do with strike while the iron is hot and it's my lucky day thing, they always want to extend their winnings problem is they do not know where their limits are.
1023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Gang uses crypto for illegal purposes on: November 15, 2020, 02:18:54 PM
In china the government reported a case where a gambling Gang as they stated were using cryptocurrencies to transfer funds abroad. According to them trillions of yuan's are illegally being transferred abroad due to gambling.

It's really illegal here in our country we have an specific amount of money that you can transfer out of the country legally, there is an additional and you have to secure permit if you want big funds.

Quote
Now they are making this bigger by saying how these cryptocurrencies and gambling are making it harder to track the transactions. BUT ! Isn't it easier to track these transactions as compared to fiat ??
If they use Mixer it will be hard to track these transactions, fiat can easily track than Cryptocurrency because they have to use illegal means to transport the fiat

Quote
Shouldn't the Chinese authorities in lieu of the statement where they say that they are illegally transporting trillions of yuan's online , make the gambling legal and make sure to have well established rules instead of putting a hand out on the whole industry ?

unfortunately China is a communist country and they want to have control on everything, although they have territories where gambling is legal, these are just for tourist and and their cash cow as well

1024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Towards another gambling site. on: November 15, 2020, 01:07:10 PM

Actually Roulette gambling I've known for a long time, however, never playing, maybe this is the time.

My question is: there is something to learn about roulette gambling, or just luck in this game.

Regards.

I play roulette online after I got tired playing in a dice game, I did not think there is a good strategy in playing roulette online but offline there is some trick just check out these videos from Youtube

how to win in roulette in real casino

I consider playing roulette online so much like playing dice game, you can employ different martingale strategy but it's all about chasing your losses, you need a lot of funds to chase your losses, some bad bet reaches 15 roll, so think twice if this is the right game for you.
1025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mind Blown Gambling Facts on: November 15, 2020, 12:00:16 PM

  • In the early days of FedEx, CEO Fred Smith took the company’s last $5,000 to Las Vegas and won $27,000 gambling on blackjack to cover the company’s $24,000 fuel bill.
I'm particularly fascinated on this one, imagine he had saved his company from closing down, I think he already given up on FeDex and just took the company's last $5000 to gamble, of course gambling is a game of luck, he did not went there to save his company, he went there to see if he can do a miracle or just want to try his luck and just enjoy because the company is in it's last money.
Imagine if he did not win $27000 we would not have FeDex,
I don't think any CEO will do what he did he and his company is just lucky to win the jackpot, it's really is for the record now we know.
1026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler living in England makes a $5M bet on Trump on: November 15, 2020, 11:32:44 AM

Majority of bookies now are announcing or had been finalized this bet. Why would need to wait up for some changes of mind or decision?

Why people cant just accept that he lost and some bookies now are indeed failing to give out those who bet on Biden and still pending just because of those possible recount or decisions
that Trump had actually won?

No matter if he won or not yet its not our money but yeah its big to talk or discussed on but it is over now for him to make up regrets.
Theres no turning back and he had lost this one.
Many allied countries are already congratulating Biden for his win and if you check the data and Trump's allegation we can already conclude that Biden wins the election and Trump just want to hold on to power, I don't think there's a change on the outcome, Biden wins with a big margin and he is definitely going to sit,  January next year, somebody should advice Trump to just concede and protect his legacy, his complain is not helping him.
1027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Nordine Oubaali vs. Nonito Donaire - December 12 on: November 15, 2020, 11:17:30 AM

Though I'm a fan of Nonito Donaire, I am having doubt if he could win again at this time of his career. Father time is catching him and we all know that age is really a factor in boxing, with the exception of Manny Pacquaio of course. If they will release the odds and if the odds on betting on Rodriguez is tempting, I think I would go for it.
A boxer is judge based on how he performed on his last fight, and Donito's last fight against Inoue shows that he still has it, he is the first boxer to get Inoue in trouble and the first to give him a cut, he is performing really well and there were rounds where he totally dominate Inoue.
If he can come out with a performance like that he can outbox and beat Rodriguez and besides he will just turn 38, some boxers can still keep up at 38.
1028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Presidential Election 2020 and its impact on gambling on: November 14, 2020, 02:53:02 AM
The short answer is: There is no any impact on gambling from USA election.

Well I disagree. The GOP and Trump are against regulations, even obviously good ones, for example Trump signed orders allowing companies to dump toxic waste in rivers, like in a third world country.

The Dems are much more in favor of regulations. So if the online gambling industry is in the crosshairs of the administration for things like lax KYC, tax evasion, money laundering, then I'd expect a Biden administration to clamp down on these.

I agree with Johnny there is no impact because majority of the gambling sites are not accepting US citizens to play in their platform, they cannot clampdown on something that they have no jurisdiction or do not accept any of their citizen, the US elections has been trying to connect the price in the market and now the gambling as if the US has impact to the world on what's happening in their internal affairs.
1029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YOUC a good example of project recovering from dump because of it's potential on: November 13, 2020, 11:58:20 PM
YOUC already have 6 exchanges, if the token has good potential it will attract more buyers, volume is still 4 digit figures it should go to 5 or 6 digit volumes if the token will show good performance in the market, the market is going up and investors are on the accumulation stage and this is a good token to recommend, since the price is very cheap and developers are on track on their roadmap.
1030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PRIZE OF FIGHTING Boxing’s biggest contracts revealed on: November 13, 2020, 11:40:14 PM
Canelo Alvarez is the biggest and the number one on the list and he deserves it but the contract fizzle out making him a free agent and will earn him more than we he is tied up to promoter's contract, I see him as the boxer with a huge in three years time, if he can keep up his winning records, I think those fights with Golovkin makes him on top of the list he should do a trilogy.
1031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Asking About Riobet Casino on: November 13, 2020, 01:34:09 PM
It seems they do not have an announcement thread here, but I found this

https://www.askgamblers.com/online-casinos/riobet-casino-review/

They have a fair reviews from askgamblers and the support is active in addressing their issues, traffic is also good on Alexa, since they are accepting Bitcoin they make an announcement thread, I don't think I will play here or I will recommend my friends to play here, if they are not active here.

1033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant Super Middleweight Title on: November 13, 2020, 12:21:40 AM

Canelo has to focus on this fight first, and I believe he will do his usual hard training to win convincingly on whoever his opponent is. He is giving chance to a non popular fighter but with great record and he always fight big names in boxing, so much respect for Canelo here as he has already proven himself that he is a legit warrior.

Mayweather even rank him in the top 3 best boxers in the world on the video I saw, so that's a great recognition coming from the cash king who knows how the business runs very well.

He should be more focus he has a long lay off and this is his first fight after he become a free agent he needs a dramatic win probably a knock out, since he is on his own now and he is now the one managing his contract, he should stay in the super middle weight division, because this is the weight where he is more comfortable, now that he is a free agent there's a possibility of a third GGG fight since GGG is now a champion again.
1034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippines Allows Land-Based Casinos to Accept Bets Online on: November 11, 2020, 11:32:50 PM
This is experimental I hope it succeed the gambling casinos have suffered the most because of the pandemic 95% is such a huge loss for the gaming industry that they need to come out a dilution while waiting for things to normalize.
The gaming and gambling industry is very important to the government of the Philippines because they get a huge chunk of their revenues here, majority of the gambling casinos here are government operated, it's success is very important to the government.
1035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe NBA is rigged? on: November 11, 2020, 11:22:28 AM
I have read a lot of theories about NBA being rigged and a little portion of me were convince, so I would like to ask you.

If you believe it's rigged, is it a disadvantage or advantage to us bettors?

Share your opinion and if you have some proof, kindly post.

There's no clear and strong evidence that can prove that NBA is rigged, the NBA organization is one of the most organized sports organization in the world and they will charge, fine, and ban for life those who will rig the game, millions of fans are still supporting it and media still trust that all the game are fair and besides it's hard to rig a game because millions of people are watching, every wrong call will be questioned.
1036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum User Spends $9,500 in Fees Sending Just $120 on: November 10, 2020, 01:27:29 PM

This are the kind of transactions miners pick with joy while confirming the transaction on a block.
We are human and very prone to mistakes, but I still just feel this mistake is something intentionally done. When making transactions on Metamask, after making an input of gwei and gas, it used to display transaction information and ask for permission to run the transaction.
I believe he saw that and still went ahead.  Cry

Two things he is in a hurry to missed the transaction information, the transaction information is always on display you should always and make it a habit to look at the whole transaction, what I mean is to double-check, even triple check and see that things are ok to proceed, in my case I even heck and double-check, if the address is correct, you should be aware that you can make a mistake and by slowing down you can avoid this.
Unfortunately, he did not do this and he has nothing to blame but himself, miners should not feel guilty if they do not want to return the coins, it's not their fault.
1037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC on gambling casinos on: November 10, 2020, 12:19:36 PM
Some of the Gambling casinos I've seen are requiring its user to conduct a KYC (not mandatory but they said there's a chance or something) however my concern is that the gambling casino is not licensed are you going to trust this or not? Imagine winning a big jackpot and they asked for you to conduct KYC but they are not licensed.

It will help us if you can name those gambling sites that ask for KYC, gamblers play and trust in gambling casinos that protect their identity, and they do not expect KYC as long as they playing fair if you won a big jackpot and you are playing fair there's no need to undergo KYC they will only ask it for verification that you are not breaking rules and it should be on a gambling site that as a good reputation.
1038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers forced into unpaid leave on: November 10, 2020, 10:56:18 AM
The Macau gaming enterprise have reported that more than 60% of the Workers working in casinos have been Forced to take Unpaid leave.

The weird thing was : If the Worker have worked for too long the casinos takes them for granted and they are more likely to loose their payment.

Now 8% of them are thinking of switching to new jobs.

In this scenario, we can conclude that the gambling industry in Macau is suffering, unfortunately, the workers are the one badly hit, the management can opt for dialogue and reach a compromise as they urge their workers to accept the decision of forced unpaid leaves while the industry is suffering from the pandemic, when the industry recovers, they can give their workers who help them in times of crisis with additional bonuses when they recover.
This pandemic will not last and good dialogue is what the two-party needs to smooth things out.
1039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Happened? on: November 09, 2020, 11:41:48 PM
What's with that gambling site, gambling site just come and go and only those who can keep up stays, I am not yet active in the gambling discussion when the site was up, back then the most attractive and probably profitable are the crowdfunding sections, but gambling sites although one of the emerging market in the Cryptocurrency is a very stiff business, there are a lot of competition and every gambling sites wants a huge piece of the pie.
