there's something like this already for Ubercart, but the more the better. if you design something would be good to have it do dynamic pricing since bitcoin value changes every couple of minutes. or list in USD, then have it dynamically calculate the BTC value on checkout with MtGox json feed..?
422  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading BTC for $$$ - In Canada? on: June 08, 2011, 12:51:19 AM
Easiest in Canada is to withdraw to liberty reserve then cash it out to CAD.
If you get an account with Royal Bank, you can open a free USD account in their USA branches. You can move the money from the US account to Canada effortlessly through online banking. To set it up you just need a $100 deposit
http://www.rbcbankusa.com/specialtybanking/cid-96799.html

When you apply for the account, don't tell them you are trading Bitcoin or anything. Smiley Not like they will refuse you, just they will try to get you into a Business account then you have to conform to stupid US laws of max $999/day and other problems. Best if the banks know as little as possible.

You can also open a swissquote.ch account online and switch between any currency you want.

423  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why does the price of BTC rise so rapidly at this time of day (Mt Gox)? on: June 08, 2011, 12:45:18 AM
I would assume more ppl are trading. Ppl aren't at work, maybe Europeans (timezone?) are more active from 6pm - 2am PST
424  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Poker site (under light of current domain seizures by us govt.) on: April 16, 2011, 09:14:00 PM
or alternatively create an exchanger that converts bitcoins to load gambling accounts. make sure you are 100% anonymous and don't live in the excited states of america

example, most gambling sites accept Ukash which is why you can't buy Ukash in the states. trade BTC for Ukash and vice versa, so players can cash out.

i'll joint venture with somebody if they want to do this, i know dozens of ukash and psc exchangers

Farmville credits have no intirinsic value so you cant use them for money....

 Roll Eyes

there's plenty of phishing sites that specifically target farmville accounts to steal credits. idiots actually do pay real money for them to increase their 'farm'

as for facebook being a bank, it'll be the first bank that openly sells your information. yay

427  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Liberty2Reserve Currency Exchange (India) on: April 04, 2011, 11:32:06 AM
You can buy bank accounts w/cards in Poland for 99Euro on talkgold.com, use that for paypal. Comes with sim card and socks proxies.

Or open up a swissquote.ch account for free yourself, just mail in notarized copies of your passport. Link it to anything you want (MB, Paypal, whatever)

If you want to buy LR in India either load your own LiqPay account with Visa/MC and trade it for only 2-5% fee with the hundreds of Russian exchangers or buy Ukash and trade it. 1 Eur Ukash typically goes for 1.25 LR USD. 1 CashU USD card can be exchanged for 0.93 LR USD. Expensive but they both charge 7% for merchants.

428  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: AUD to BTC exchange - legalities and methods? on: March 29, 2011, 09:12:21 PM
I'm doing the same thing, except I'm exchanging everything. Would be good to have an Aus exchanger

Get a technocash.com merchant account then your Australian and NZ customers can go to the post office and pay cash which is in your account by 8pm the same day. Transfer it seamlessly to your bitcoin bank (this is much safer than taking direct netbanking payments, though with technocash you can take them anyways if you wanted)

Then when somebody withdraws you can do the following automatically:

-give them any other digital currency (LR, WMZ ect) as almost all exchangers now have Technocash
-fund their bank accounts with every electronic method in Aus nearly instantly
-directly load any Australian Visa/MC card
-convert to USD easily and automatically send an Anelik wire Xfer almost anywhere in the world for 3.5% fee up to $3k

That way everybody pays in using cash, there's no risks of phished/hacked bank accounts doing fraudulent transactions, and keeps it somewhat anonymous although I'm not sure if you have to show ID at the Aus post office when depositing money

Since technocash integrates so easily and cheap with anything Australian or Kiwi I would use your exchange for the bulk of bitcoin transfers since I also use it. Great success

**note if you run into problems with Australia do this all in NZ where they seem to have no financial laws whatsoever. In fact if you have $15k to invest, you can start your own NZ bank! For 60k you can start your own offshore financial trading brokerage. No lie it's that easy. I would assume any regular business bank account in NZ wouldn't care about holding money in trusts, ect. If they do, register your own offshore corporation in the Seychelles then you have no tax or other worries. A shelf corporation goes for $700-1k right now

***also note if you can't afford a technocash merchant account I would buy you a globalFX trading account, then could use my merchant account to take funds and xfer to you instantly
429  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: mtgox: why only libertyreserve? on: March 27, 2011, 05:21:08 PM

I am from INDIA.

Any one can take my 2.88$ LR & give me at least bitcoins?
Coz, the idiotic mtgox don't allow to buy with less than 10LR & i told it to buy bitcoins for 24LR, it bought for 21. LR & kept 2.88 LR in itself.
Now i don't able to buy bitcoins from them , only option is withdraw to another ones acc, & he gives me manually bitoin or paypal.
i am ready for bitcoin for 2.88LR.
Anyone to help me?

There's probably no minimum to trade on bitcoin-central or another site with LR
mtgox isn't the only site

Also, I am opening a roaming ICICI bank account in India for Bitcoins. I can accept cash deposit for Liberty Reserve, WMZ, EuroGoldCash, Bitcoins or anything start in a few weeks. If you know of other better cash prepaid methods in India (or a better bank) let me know. When it's set up, you can pay cash deposit in Rupees, and for $2 fee I can wire the money to load any exchanger (Bitcoin-Central in France, BTCex in Finland or Switzerland, or LR for MtGox). Merchant account doesn't charge me excessive fees for currency conversion into EUR/USD. Maybe BTCex will start a Rupees for Bitcoin trading currency as well

I can sell you 2.88 bitcoins for LR, or somebody in IRC can as well

430  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoinexpress - Bitcoin to PayPal exchange site on: March 26, 2011, 07:01:05 AM
There's a reason nobody exchanges Liberty Reserve and other currencies for Paypal, and if they do they hold for 5-7 days no matter how much the amount and charge a huge fee typically 15-26%

They also use those sketchy PayPal w/ATM card accounts you get from VCC vendors in Russia so if their account is limited or seized by PayPal they hopefully already have the money. Read the e-book 'Auction Stealth' by askpin.com they tell you how to set up stealth PayPal if you don't want to buy accounts.

Once carding forums find out they can use all their stolen PayPal to irreversible currency you're screwed. Also, customers can still charge back even with a crypto verification. They just call PayPal and say their kid authorized the transaction while out of the room, it's an instant chargeback up to 180days later. Merchant then must prove service or goods were provided. Once you mention 'Bitcoins' they will assume you're trading in e-currency which is against TOS and keep your money anyways

PayPal is the Antichrist of digital currency freedom. Bitcoin should be killing it not enabling it. If you're American based use Dwolla or cash deposit though haven't heard back from Dwolla on their official ecurrency trading policy, and their no information terrible hipster site has no real info. Somebody at their merchant support did at first say it was fine then reneged for further info. I also don't trust their payment apps, too easy to hack useless Iphone apps and drain accounts, also waiting to hear back on fraud policy like if somebody's phone is stolen/lost then used for transactions... no info if they will do chargebacks. Can also use simple bluetooth roaming to break into unsecured phones and drain accounts through apps. If they can guarantee me I won't be charged back because somebody left their phone on the bus and bought Bitcoins through me I'll use them.

Moneypack to Bitcoins would even be better than PayPal

old resurrected thread..

anyways liqpay will seize any account suspected of currency trading. they have a racket with webmoney and ukash nobody else allowed

even with webmoney it's not 100% safe as you need to be from a former CIS country

432  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: btcex.com looking for partners on: March 24, 2011, 01:54:34 AM
I have a gold/silver trading merchant account. Can legally accept and hold these currencies for trading:
$USD    €EUR    £GBP    $AUD    $NZD    $CAD     $HKD     $SGD     ¥JPY    DKK    NOK    SEK     VATU

I can take cash payments at any post office in Australia/NZ and online banking anywhere else. Also will have dwolla, CashU, and can accept Paymer cheques and cards to trade in WMR/WMZ. Working on Ukash, but it's expensive (7-8% merchant fees) plus takes too long to withdraw, may just screw them and pick another voucher system or replace it with cash buy orders.

Buyers can do a group bitcoin buy, i can hold payments until a desired amount and wire it all to either the Euro Finland account, or Swiss USD account and bulk buy or just transfer it immediately for hardly any fees.

Can send people a USD cheque to cash out coins, load debit cards, mail cash, send LR, up to $1999 anywhere in the world or $999 if you're in the US due to laws.

Should be ready to go in 2-3weeks once all the verifications go through (for webmoney). May do Euro Gold Cash as well, buy it from local exchangers here to trade.
