I just sent out your package Goat. By the time you got back to me about the coa, I had already went out and bought the fancy coa paper, printed it off, and sealed it up for package. It was a horizontal 8 x 10. If you want it any different size, or dont like the design, i would be more than happy to sign anything that you come up with and return it you. Id even pay for shipping. I added the serial numbers on the coa. Pics of the serial numbers are on page 2 of this thread, but I ill also add them here.

I know there are a lot of scams out there in this community, but this is not one. I swear upon all that is holy, I mined the block, and I used this card. I have signed and dated a document confirming that. Laughing Bear is my real name. If I were to ever try and sell another card claiming that it was the block finder, Goat would have a great fraud case against me.
Congrats on this purchase goat, I am very glad that it is going to someone that will take care of it.

I just saw this thread and picked it up from bitmit.
I do like collecting this sort of stuff and do expect to display it in my office. I remember being on IRC last Nov and telling theymos you were the guy who mined that lucky block. He was looking for you to give you that title.
I will ask that you please make the certificate and whatever else look decent as I plan to frame it all.
Thanks.
Im glad you are the one that got it. Itll be in the mail tomorrow, or Monday. Ill do my best to make a snazzy COA. Any request on the size of the COA, so itll fit in the frame?

I guess the only thing we can do is use a unique password
And when unique passwords gets logged by keylogger, Google Authenticator is there to help you protect your funds. No need to flame, added security should result in higher share-fee payouts. you are right... I should not try and stir up a bunch of problems over a stupid non issue.
|
|
|
Just using a unique password would make this a zero probability. This is such a non issue.

|
Don't follow established practices just do anything you feel like no matter how stupid (and pointless).
like using a different password for every website? I know you guys have an agenda to push here, and need to make rs or the website look bad, but try harder.

It's still pretty shitty of him to store passwords in a reversible format. If he gets hacked, an attacker can dump them. Of course he'd say it's absolutely impossible for his site to be hacked, but that's because he's seriously out of touch with reality.
This. It shows a complete lack of understanding of basic password security. If he got this wrong what else did he get wrong. Simple version: the website needs to be able to decrypt the password so it is like saying "no I keep my money locked up in that safe, the one with the key taped to the front of it". Passwords are salted and hashed not encrypted for a reason. This was cutting edge computer science ... in 1970. Step up then big guy. Hack it, steal all the coins on the exchange. Teach him a lesson. We will all wait with bated breath.

I am also buying all bitcoins at half the current price or lower

no refunds??? Hell i didnt even get a product to refund! so your theory is that i can promise the world, but as long as i say no refunds... you dont have a right to get pissed when i never deliver??? use some common sense.

if the chips are proven to be with customs there really is no breach of contract and its out of yifu's hands Finding a lawyer to find him responsible for a standard customs delay or investigation would be close to impossible, at this point we need to wait for information and investigate if the chips are in customs hands or were stolen and used as leverage against Avalon. If yifu is correct in it being customs and having threats against this person and Avalon it would be a extremely tough case to win since he may be able to prove what has happened is not of his hands. What we need to do now is possibly hire an investigative journalist, lawyer, and private investigator to find facts to build a case. Right now its too early with too little information, speculation and threats right now are baseless and useless. Nope, his customs/stolen property problems are his own. I paid for a product, and if they cant deliver it, they should refund. HE owns a business, thats part of the risk. NOT MY PROBLEM as a customer.

I'm curious as to whether mikaelh has considered or is working on a gpu miner.
Reading is hard

You have most competent explanation exactly four posts above yours, from the developer himself.
This one? Assuming that the model works, it should be the best performance metric available. When talking about chains/day?

Does it tell you if the blocks are yours?
Not yet, but it will be added later. Thanks, its too complicated for the average miner to figure out if they are record holders. An easy command to do this would be great!
|
|
|
So for the miners of #2044 and #5355 please step up and give us a proof you are the miner and the name you would like to be written for the record book To look up if you are the lucky miner who mined a new world record you can go to help->debug window->console and typevalidateaddress <record_holding_address>There isn't a quicker way to do this? I agree... there should be an easy way to scan all your found blocks to see if they are record holders. esp with the constant finding of new records. who can keep up with all of this, much less enter in every new address against these records. is there a .conf entry that will auto sign all of my mined blocks?

did any of you honestly doubt this?
