242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: June 19, 2024, 09:21:23 PM
Luka Doncic did all he can, people who keep calling him not doing his best are not realizing how much work load he gets on offense, which means his defense may lack a bit. Warriors kept Curry not defending anyone for many years while they won all those rings, so it's understandable.

Dallas needs to get some amazing defender to help both Kyrie and Luka, because it feels like that is what they are missing right now, if they had some amazing defender then they wouldn't have all of these issues. In the end, we are seeing them doing whatever they can and that is a good thing, they were at the finals. Boston winning in 08 and 24 is also a great meme these days, it's such a big Kobe hate thing and funny to see as well, if Kobe was still alive he would have laughed but be annoyed as well.

It's the overall system that they need to change, not to bash Kyrie, but he was so inconsistent not just in this series, but all throughout the playoff and it was all Luka that carries the team to the finals. And then PJ Washington disappeared in the finals, it's understandable that he played defense, but his long three's are not here in the series and he looks soft against Boston. While in the series against the Wolves, he has the fire in him, tenacity and even flexing his muscles like Lebron.

Probably a good role players who can shoot three's like Paxson and Steve Kerr like player. And they have like a lot of forward/guards that didn't contribute that much, like Exum, Hardaway and Josh Green.
243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What category would you classify such bettor? on: June 19, 2024, 01:15:04 PM
It looks like "Lacks good strategy" in my opinion. I mean why you will go on and bet on those ridiculous odds? Perhaps you can get one and then pair it with a favorite, at least you have a better chance that getting all the underdogs and then hope that you will be lucky to win that?

And it's good that he has been called out by the gamblers themselves, perhaps mocking him and laughing at that kind of bet because they have experience it already that this kind of bet is not that good and most likely you are just donating your money to the sports casino themselves. And specially if he is already a experience bettor and then just putting his bet like this? That's crazy and doesn't make sense at all.
244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Subriel Matias VS Liam Paro IBF Super Lightweight June 15th Manati, Puerto Rico. on: June 19, 2024, 12:43:32 PM

We can't deny that Paro threw more punches than him, and it seems like Matias was really outboxed by a heavy underdog. I have not seen the fight, just the highlights, but let me ask: was there any mention of a rematch for this fight or not? Because if there's a rematch, that would be good for Matias as he would have a chance to reclaim his title if he corrects his mistakes. But if there's none, then Paro should go for a unification fight.

Unfortunately, there is no rematch clause this is quite unusual for a contract in every championship match the champion has the luxury of a rematch being the champion but it is rare to see a no rematch clause, even if the challenger overwhelms the champion the rematch happens this is why trilogy happens.

It's because Subriel Matias is very confident that he can beat Paro. Liam is 7:1 underdog going into this fight and it was being held at Matias Puerto Rico, and most likely Matias got the lion share of the purse as well. But if Matias wanted a rematch, then maybe Paro can get it to him but it should not be in in Paro's choice, most likely in Australia and Paro being the champion now, is the A-side.

If there is a rematch clause I'm sure Matias will find a way to beat Paro, but his camp is too confident that Paro cannot beat Matias, the rematch is every champion's luxury but they prefer not to include it, Matias should learn his lesson to avail that privilege next time that he is a champion.
The prerogative now for a rematch is on Paro unless the IBF makes Matias a mandatory challenger.

That's going to be the obvious, he will go and try to reclaim his belt. However, I think Paro has gotten his numbers also and their could be some psyche war as well as Paro has beaten and dominated him. As per rating, Richardson Hitchins is the number 1 and could be the mandatory or the recent winner, Jack Catterall. I'll be more interested of Catterall vs Paro, as Jack could also been a champion as well if Taylor has rematch him with Josh had the belt.
245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tank Davis Vs Frank Martin WBA Lightweight Title June 22 HoustonTexas on: June 19, 2024, 09:51:28 AM
I'm also surprised Martin went long enough. And the fight was actually close. All judges had it 3-4 after round 7 where Tank only has 1 round advantage. It could be true that Martin sparred a bigger puncher than Tank which is why he survived that long. Martin probably felt those punches even if there were head gears during sparring sessions.

Anyways, as expected, it's another KO win by Tank. My question remains the same over the years. When's the time he stops being a coward and fight the other champions? He may avoid WBC champ Shakur but IBF king Loma is already old and is no longer the same during his prime years. WBO holder Berinchyk is not popular and should be very easy to negotiate if Tank wants to unify.

How about a rematch with Pitbull Cruz at 140 lbs? https://www.youtube.com/shorts/1zs08f-q-Y4

Or will he stay at 135 lbs and fight Loma? I think the fans are going to go crazy with a Loma fight. And this is what Bob Arum's want that's why he is headed for a negotiation with the camp of Tank Davis. So all roads lead to Tank Davis at this division, although we call him paper champ because that's what he is, he has that drawing power, just like Ryan Garcia because he brings excited fight.

And I also don't see Loma and Berinchyk unifying as both are Ukrainians.

Klay Thompson posting crazy images on instagram now pretty much assuring that he is not going to be returning to the Warriors next year. He’s trending on twitter right now and Draymond just gave an interview about Klay’s social media actions. Will Klay go to the Lakers and follow his Dad’s footsteps or go to someone like the Hornets to get paid?

Well Draymond says it's fucking hilarious, as what Klay did, unfollowing the Warriors. Not sure about the Lakers, I'm seeing the Lakers pursuing the one player that they want to get and that is Donovan Mitchell.

And speaking of posting crazy images, Klay just post about Seattle needing a team, it used to be called Seattle Supersonics->OKC if I'm not mistaken.

But we will see where Klay is going to be, and for the fun of it, Curry also unfollowed Klay,  Cheesy

253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: June 10, 2024, 04:41:43 AM
When you are trying to get back on the game and referee messed it all up by missing one crucial call. Ouch! You cannot even do anything about it.
That's obviously a foul on Jaylen Brown while PJ Washington was trying to dunk the ball. He won't end up in the crowd without any reason. The referees can call it even if it's late as long as he blows his damn whistle.

Boston Celtics won the game but it's not that far. The two best closers of the Mavs did not work pretty well in 2nd half. But we are seeing some lobs now. Gafford was also aggressive inside the paint and scored using a post-up game. That's nice to see.
Against a hostile environment like the TD Garden, I think the Mavs still did well tonight but the defense of the Celtics is suffocating, they must find a way to break that.

Yeah, but we should give credit to the defense of the Celtics in the last five minutes of the game, they stole a ball and then hit back to back threes with Holiday and White. But still the Mavs call a time out and they became to work and close the gap again. But the defense on PJ Washington, yeah it could be a foul but the referee didn't call it, just the breaks of the game. And Luka was not able to hold the ball like in the Wolves series, they really closing it on him, but yeah, the Mavs improved, we have seen some lob passes, but was not enough.

However, we are going to move back to AA arena, for sure the Mavs will want to stay in this finals series, and I'm seeing them getting back at the Celtics to make it 2-1. There's no way they want to be in a 0-3 deficit as it might be over for them.
254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny - Pacquiao VS Chihiro Suzuki Exhibition Match on: June 10, 2024, 04:00:29 AM
Do you think Manny Pacquiao still has what it takes to fight in the ring, this could be a tune fight to the match awaited Pacquiao - Mayweather2
I think yeah, the guy looks pretty good and healthy despite his age. the match will only last for 3 rounds with 3 minutes each round so I don't think he will have any trouble in this exhibition match. As for whether this will be a "tune fight" I am not really sure, there have been rumours going around in the past that there are talks between the two camps about a Mayweather vs Pacquiao rematch but nothing conclusive really came out.

Yes, I do agree, he even hinted a Manny Pacquiao denied exemption to compete at 2024 Summer Olympics at 45 years old by the IOC.

Which means he still wanted to compete a a high level, and he is that active as well in his lifestyle, probably doing some light sparring sessions from time to time and they his favorite basketball and billiards. The Floyd fight might still be in negotiations for now, and perhaps it will be held in Saudi again as most of the fight are being held there and obviously because of the big money that HE Turki is willing to shell out in this kind of big fights. Fans are still drooling and we are hoping that they could have a rematch or at least could have fought during their primes. But still an exhibition is a second best.

So Manny will be the huge favorite coming into this exhibition and again, we might see some of that speed and power again.
255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: June 06, 2024, 10:59:51 PM
And the big day has come. The first game of the NBA finals will be played tonight. Boston Celtics - Dallas Mavericks.
Neither team is missing any important players. On one side is Jason Tatum - Jaylen Brown, on the other side is Luka Doncic - Kyri Irving.
My favorites are Luka and Kyrie, I think these two will win the championship.

Yeah, for sure majority of the basketball fans here are going to tune in for Game 1. I think it's good that the NBA had a long break before this finals because it seems that everyone know is very excited as if they created more hype in the first game between this two great team.

The matchup that we all wanted to see, the best duo now in the NBA going against each other, Tatum/Brown(East conference MVP), against Kyrie/Luka(West conference MVP). And they have a lot of supporting cast as well that this series is unpredictable although as per betting odds, the Boston Celtics is a big favorite to win this years championship.
256  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bounty FullHouse casino plagiarized the whitepaper from Shuffle on: June 06, 2024, 12:10:27 AM
BountyDetective has been online few times after I had sent him the PM but he didn't reply me, neither did he respond here. He is ignoring everything for the sake of his service fee, quite ridiculous. He has a history of managing shady and questionable projects back in the days. Tagging him for ignoring all these and managing campaigns for questionable projects.

It's good that you tagged him, for sure he did read your PM already and chooses to ignore and wanted to go on with the bounty obviously because he could have been paid up front by the project itself.

But we can't discount that they have plagiarized, they could have someone check the white paper and not just rely to the person that they hire to create one for them. On the other hand, they could have created one for themselves, specially the CEO since he has the deepest knowledge of the project.

It's irreversible already, the community have already cast their doubts on the project.
257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How did/do you handled a gambling addict story. on: June 04, 2024, 10:55:35 PM

For so many years I've moved out from gambling addiction I certainly say that it went a lot of troubles before deciding to quit on this situation. There were times I failed to do so, then again and again committing same habit becoming so bad and it even made me penny less despite of having work those day living in a single life as a person. Only the time when I got married I realized that staying in addiction with gambling would not give me a happy life and seeing my son growing up I couldn't afford to see him suffering because of my financial instability because of gambling.

It's a matter of pride for you to be able to get rid of your gambling addiction. It's really difficult for you to get rid of that addiction, because basically, if you're married, family happiness is the main key so that your household remains harmonious. and we already realize that gambling destroys us not only materially but also loses our family. if we don't want to change and eliminate bad habits even just to seek pleasure

True, recovering from gambling addiction can be said to be an achievement, because the majority of gamblers who are already addicted are really difficult to do so and maybe I would also say that recovering from addiction is a fortune that is difficult to get by others because it is so difficult to control ourselves when we are so obsessed with gambling. If we talk about the impact, yes of course as you said that the bad impact of addiction will not only destroy us in terms of material but it can also destroy family relationships and I think lately it is not uncommon for family relationships to be destroyed which end in separation because one of their partners is involved in gambling in an excessive way which in turn causes various problems and bad impacts that damage harmony in the family. And this is why we always advise anyone, especially beginners, to always limit their mindset towards winning in gambling, maintain your awareness and never take actions that are beyond your ability.
I totally get what you're saying. Listening to someone talk about their gambling addiction can be really tough. It's crucial to be there for them without judging and to reassure them that seeking help is nothing to be embarrassed about. They're not alone in this. There are plenty of resources available, whether it's seeing a therapist, joining a support group to connect with others who understand, or finding different treatments that work for them. With the right support and determination, they can definitely overcome this. There's a brighter future waiting for them.

Really depends on who the gambling addict is telling his story, there are individuals who really frown gambling and so it's hard for them tor relate in such cases and as what the OP describe it could be their reactions. And then you also have people who might not be addicts but gamble at times and knows that predicament of a full blown addiction and he could have empathy when the addicted one tells his story.

So still 50/50 as we really don't know how any person will react when they hear this kind of stories. But at the end of the day, if there will be anyone that will understand a addict, it could really be his family, wife or brother to lean on during this trying times and then they both figure it out how to go over this addiction. And hopefully the addict when he open up, means that he really wanted to quit for good and so seeking help from family members is the best thing that they will do.
258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Deontay Wilder Vs Zhilei Zhang JUNE 1 Heavyweight on: June 04, 2024, 10:29:06 PM
Wilder did not look good at all and I do agree that he should "retire", I do not agree that he should stop doing money fights, money is something we all need no matter who you are and if he wants to do exhibition matches then he should. I mean even Mike Tyson is having one at age 57, so it is not like Wilder should stop that much, just that he should not fight anyone serious ever again if you ask me.

One thing I did not completely understand was the fact hat he was saying something to the ref when he got that first punch, and because of that he wasn't ready for the punch that knocked him down, I do not know what was it, I mean Zhang didn't do anything against the rules, it was a normal punch, so why did Wilder didn't defended but said something? No idea what went there.
I do not know what he was arguing about either, but Wilder broke the most important rule when you are on the ring, which is to protect yourself at all times, and at least to me this is one of the reasons why he should retire, since it did not seemed as if he was taking the fight seriously enough when he had in front of him a capable fighter, and it showed as just the smallest distraction immediately lead to a KO, which is another reason why I think he should retire, it is one thing to lose a fight on the scorecards, but it is a completely different thing to get KO on a loss, as this will have effects over his health and he must also think about the quality of life he may have once he retires.

He was protecting himself at all times, but the problem is that Zhang uses his boxing IQ and Wilder was just caught by surprised here and we was not able to react as Zhang is known for his power in his left have. But he uses his lead right and Wilder didn't anticipate it.

And what he was thinking about getting up in 9 counts and still arguing with the referee? It's because he think that he can survived from that knock down but it will clearly visible that he doesn't have the legs and for sure if the referee allow him to continue, he might be sleeping in the canvass as Zhang is going in for the kill and will not give him any chance to win in this fight. So the odd makers are correct in predicting who will win and even the over and under round is perfect at 6.5. Unfortunately, I've seen some boxing fans still thinks that Wilder has a chance to pull an upset and bet on him at 2.6x++ odds, but Wilder was really a different fighter now and no longer in the prime version of 2018-2019.
