21  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia Declares it is ready for war with American and European countries on: January 28, 2022, 09:19:16 PM
Putin is a dictator, but he had to climb the ladder to reach power. He isn't crazy.

He is not going to invade Ukraine with conventional forces, it would be the end of the Russian small economy.

The Crimean adventure was very costly, the Russian economy is in ruins. He learned the lesson.

It's just a question of flexing the muscle to try to get a better bargain position and keep Ukraine out of NATO.
22  Other / Politics & Society / Re: SpaceX and the prospects of Mars colonization. on: January 28, 2022, 09:12:12 PM
It looks like Musk is already thinking about a Gigafactory to build hundreds of Starships.

No one working for him tells him that there won't be customers to those ships?

It's like creating the transcontinental railway on the XVII century with trains pushed by oxen.

Until he improves his propulsion system to make the journey to Mars on a month, solve the radiation and lack of gravity/low gravity during the voyage and on Mars, he can forget about a colony that would require this kind of number of Starships.

And he would have a problem of economic viability.
23  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Finland on the way to NATO on: January 14, 2022, 10:40:52 PM
Russia has the economy of Italy.

If it weren't its nuclear weapons, Russia would be a military joke. Even if it spends much more on arms than any other country.

The nuclear arms gives it a concerning weight, though.

The Ukrainian adventure scared the hell of the Fins, Pols and the Baltic peoples, with some reason.

The Pols (or the Checks) never forgot about the western betrayal on Munich and the Second World War.
24  Other / Politics & Society / Re: SpaceX and the prospects of Mars colonization. on: January 14, 2022, 10:32:04 PM
Mars is a nightmare, but the richest and most important people alive (Musk has more votes than the others https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5353987.0) wants to create a colony there.

He is going to evaporate half of his fortune, but he is obsessed and he'll manage to create a small colony on Mars.

Forget about the million or even 5000 thousand people there, until the voyage takes less than 3 months and the radiation and low gravity is solved.

Some States will pay him billions to keep some military personnel there for political reasons.

But I can't see that having any economic sense until some resource is found on Mars.

Challenge us.

Appoint an Italian legal Arbiter  and we'll see.

If you truly wanted to end this affair, you would send the amount in bitcoin to the address quoted by the OP and that should be part of your archived records.

This is the bitcoin cosmos, proprietorship of an address means identity confirmation.

At the most, you would require merely some kind of document that gave you corroboration that the OP is the person you claim is the owner.

Like a recent utility bill with the rest of personal details erased, except name and nationality.

On the OP's shoes, I wouldn't send this to someone like you, though. You'll invent another ploy to keep the OP's money.

The Italian legal Arbiter is just more of the same: delay tactic.
26  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why I'm an atheist on: January 14, 2022, 10:15:14 PM
The religious flatearthers denying evolution are implying that god created all the SARS 2 variants when he created the world.

They just kept quiet for six thousand years and then, in two years, started popping up like popcorn.

Remember, there are dozens of variants, with tiny mutations. We just read about the concerning ones.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Variants_of_SARS-CoV-2

But all of them were planed and created by god at the same time.

We'll see how many more variants god prepared for us (irony).
27  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Finland on the way to NATO on: January 14, 2022, 09:34:41 PM
Neutrality is no longer what was used to be.

The Belgians had to be invaded twice to realize it.

The Dutch and the Norwegians only needed the Second World War.

The Cold War forced Finns to keep strict neutrality.

This statement by Finland is a reaction to a demand from Russia on December 2021 not to join NATO. We'll see if the Finns will adopt more than words.
28  Other / Politics & Society / Re: In a Democracy should the people have the right to kill their leaders? on: January 14, 2022, 09:15:06 PM
Didn't bother to vote.

It's because the people has the right to overthrow the leaders by ballot that is unthinkable to kill them.

There is a long tradition on tyrannicide, not only on western political thinkers, but also on the East. Confucius and his disciple, Mencius (Mèng Kē), wrote about it.

But tyrannicide applies to tyrants, not to democratic elected leaders.

Family members too? No comments.
29  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Society with no law on: December 22, 2021, 09:25:24 PM
There are Law on every complex society, including other primates' societies. Law is not a human creation.

Custom is the way Law is created on non-human societies. Just think about rules on hierarchy between members.

The problem is not about Law or lack of it. The problem is about the way to enforce it.

Should we relay on a central system or should sanctions against illegitimate actions be imposed by society on a unorganized way?

We know that the old way of the victim to retaliate doesn't work since it promotes private wars.
30  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The Rock Trading Scam www.therocktrading.com Exchange Review fraud truffa on: December 22, 2021, 09:12:16 PM
I think the consideration for possibly allowing the OP to select an arbiter for their own choosing is a huge step forward. Even though what I say obviously carries no weight as far as on a personal basis I have to say I am pleasantly surprised with you being open-minded enough to try to find a resolution that will be much quicker than any legal avenue would bring.

Regardless of the ludicrous allegations that were made in this thread the past in order to misdirect from the real issues, my only concern and interest within this situation is and was that the OP should be returned their funds. If the OP can select an arbiter for you the send the funds to they should be instructed to release the funds to the OP as long as they send KYC to the arbiter on the basis that KYC is not passed on to Rock Trading. You can send the funds and the name of the account holder to the new arbiter and as long as the OP sends appropriate KYC then that should bring the matter to an end - if the OP agrees.

I hope the OP will read these posts soon and contemplate the next step carefully when posting with an update.

Thank you for the swift reply but what you wrote highlights some issues which if were conducted in a different manner would have given you and your website some credibility.

For example, why on earth choose an arbiter that you already know instead someone completely impartial? Furthermore, why even transfer the funds totally 35,000 EURO to a third party without consent from the OP?

Because we cannot rely on consent from an anonymous person. Therefore, because one of the allegations was that we didn't have the funds, we decided to move in order to prove it. Also, it was stated on the Criminal Procedure against the OP.

If what you say is correct and the OP is not asking for arbiter contact details because the OP does not want to send KYC, then that is not something that should not surprise you because the OP chose to not send you KYC after you seized their funds and I along with others advised the OP (when this scam accusation thread was created) to not send KYC in case you try to misuse it in order to take revenge on the OP.

The OP doesn't have to provide KYC to us but to the Arbiter.

Why will you not simply ask the arbiter to either send you the funds back in order for you to send them to the OP (who is the rightful owner) or ask the arbiter to send them directly to the OP - that way the whole issue will end and hopefully you will drop any legal argument you have against the OP and in the same way the OP will drop any legal argument against you and Rock Trading then both parties can continue without this issue hanging over them.

We cannot request funds back for a certain amount of time. I believe at least one year in case the owner of the account is not showing up ( I have to check on this).  In any case, even if possible, we would not be able to release funds without a full KYC identification. Sorry but current laws prevail on personal ideas.

Will you please kindly consider it?

What I could consider, if possible, is to let the OP choose a legal arbiter of his choice in Italy and mutually request the present one to transfer funds to the new one.

The OP has suffered a lot as a result of the funds being withheld for so long. The issue started in December 2017 and here we are in December 2021, it has been a long 4 years for the OP.

I know, but ask yourselves why?  For 4 years the OP stated that he initiated a legal procedure but, as of today, nothing....... The reason is simple: He cannot prove to be the account owner.
However, if he would consider to choose a LEGAL arbiter of his choice, I would gladly accept it

Please kindly consider bringing an end to this matter and release the funds back to the OP.

Thank you.

Please, be aware that while we cannot and I don't want to call back the funds, I can instruct the Arbiter to send funds to another appointed Arbiter as per the OP request.

Also I would have to notify the Judge about this decision just to be on the safe side.

As usual, I would provide proof of the actions

I checked one of the OP's links to your markets before you changed it and it was more than obvious that the orderbook was forged.

What amazes me is that your customers don't report this.

This suggests that your exchange doesn't have any customers using some of your markets and the volume is forged as much as the orderbooks.

You orchestrated your crowdfunding thanks to these forged orderbooks and volume.

The OP has all reasons not to trust anything you post here.

31  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sexual Harassment at SpaceX on: December 22, 2021, 09:02:55 PM
The news is legitimate. It has been published all over credible news sources like
https://www.nytimes.com/2021/12/14/science/spacex-sexual-harassment.html
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/technology/spacex-faces-sexual-harassment-allegations-from-five-former-employees/

This doesn't mean that Musk has anything to do with the accusations or that SpaceX is worst than any other corporation on this matter.

There are also accusations about Tesla:
https://nypost.com/2021/11/19/elon-musks-tesla-sued-for-sexual-harassment-by-employee/

Corporations are characterized by vertical relations/power and, where this occurs, abuses happen.

SpaceX has a duty to investigate these accusations and punish any culprit, if there are enough evidence. It has no duty to accept all accusations just because they were made.

Some are arguing they didn't investigate the complaints or that the complaints were blocked before reaching HR. This is more serious.

It wasn't only Darius who tried to win over the Scythians.

Before him, the creator of the Achaemenid Empire, the first Persian empire, Cyrus II, tried to conquer territory from a branch of the Scythians, the Massagetae, and, according to Herodotus, he ended up death, after a fierce battle (529 BCE).

The Massagetae's queen, Tomyris, cut his head.

33  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Concerns on new covid variants. on: December 22, 2021, 08:38:35 PM
Vaccines against SARS II create antibodies and long-lasting memory on your immune system against this virus. They don't avoid contagious and infection.

If a vaccinated person lost his antibodies because he took the shoots many months ago, his immune system still recognizes the virus and starts immediately creating new antibodies and attacking it.

During this time he gets some symptoms and can infect other people.

But if he has a strong immunity system, he controls the situation and ends the virus quickly.

If the person has a weak immunity system, he can still have problems or even die.

Without the vaccines this would happen to millions of people instead of just a few.
34  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why I'm an atheist on: December 22, 2021, 08:27:29 PM
The lie about Jesus resurrection is in accordance with many other, including the one saying that Jesus was a descendant from David born in Bethlehem, when everything in the Bible points out to Nazareth.

There is no record of any census around the year 0 to force them to travel with Mary about to give birth.

The killing of the babies by Herod is ridiculous. The Romans wouldn’t ever allow that.

In fact, something as outraged as this would leave traces on historical records, including Jewish records. They would be the victims.

All of these lies were invented solely to make Jesus fit the ancient prophecies about the messiah.
35  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is it safe to us to get Covid -19 Vaccine? on: December 08, 2021, 10:31:18 PM
Vaccines and antibiotics are the major inventions on human history.

We can't just assume that all of them are 100% safe.

Nonetheless, these SARS-CoV-2 vaccines were now taken by more than a billion people.

To keep raising absurd questions just because a tiny number of very sick or old people die after taken one of them is completely irrational. Those persons would die from a simple cold, because of how sick they already were.

That a big part of Americans still believe on histories about the «dangers» of these vaccines only shows that a part of the american mass media are destroying the truth and trust on scientific and political institutions. Just for political reasons.

Even the American Democracy is at risk because of this.
36  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why I'm an atheist on: December 08, 2021, 10:15:19 PM
Christians don’t just pretend that Jesus survived the cross thanks to his «immortal soul».

They don’t just believe that he resurrected after three days, like Osiris and others (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dying-and-rising_deity) or the Sun on the 25th December.

They pretend that he ascended to heaven still with his mortal body, flouting up into the sky.

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s Superman, it’s Neo… no, it’s Jesus doing a loop and another risky aerobatic maneuver.

Ergo, on Heaven there are mostly «souls», but people from the family also walk around there in body.

The body is made of matter, flesh and bones, but no problem. It won’t die or decay forever.

It's perplexing that someone can even accept these histories as worthy of consideration.
37  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Most important person alive? on: December 08, 2021, 09:52:36 PM
I just added Richard Branson.

He's another billionaire, however the main reason isn't his money. Making a buck won't ever make someone the most important person alive.

He created more than 400 corporations on many fields, helping changing the world.

On space exploration he is dragging far comparing with Elon Musk. Space exploration isn't a major important area.

He is concerned with the Environment and is trying to be a pioneer on using more friendly fuels on his Virgin Air.
38  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Poll: Is the creation of artificial superinteligence dangerous? on: November 11, 2021, 10:28:48 PM
Another opportunity to really start a general and mainstream debate about the dangers of artificial superinteligence was lost:

https://ai100.stanford.edu/2021-report/gathering-strength-gathering-storms-one-hundred-year-study-artificial-intelligence

The report is far from optimist and voices some concerns.

One of the issues, autonomous robots with killing capacities, seems to have little perspectives to be avoided.

The issue is concerning indeed. But this will only require a stupid robot with limited capacities.

My concerns are with AI with general capacities and consciousness.
39  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Most important person alive? on: November 11, 2021, 10:17:13 PM
The main responsible for the invention of the mRNA vaccines deserves to be on the list.

Nevertheless, the issue is controversial: https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-021-02483-w

One of the names usually quoted is also a controversial person, Robert Malone: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_W._Malone
40  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why I'm an atheist on: November 11, 2021, 09:57:23 PM
Members who write that evolution is an hoax, that the World and the Universe have about 7000 years, that Sars CoV 2 vaccines (which are one of the major achievements of Humankind in medicine) are killers and not saviors, and other astounding things like these, are starting to look like flatearthers.

The worrisome of looking like a flatearther is that anything the person argues in favor of any controversial theory ends up undermining this theory.

No one wants to defend anything controversial defended by a flatearther.

This applies also to religious "theories".
