Newbies trading? Be careful, read https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=198899.msg2080335#msg2080335
Post your best price, maybe you can get better offers.
903  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Exchange? on: April 02, 2014, 05:51:05 PM
You don't have to give out the account, you can sell the lindens and send them to the buyer account using the send money tab at Virwox. Good luck finding someone willing to trade 4 bucks.

Up.
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Selling alt coins for cash (euro) by mail or SEPA on: April 02, 2014, 07:31:07 AM
I'm selling alt coins traded at BTC-e: Litecoin, Peercoin, Novacoin, Primecoin, Terracoin, Feathercoin and Namecoin. I might consider to sell other alt coins, but the commission will be higher.
The commission for SEPA is 5% over BTC-e price.
Unless the member have a good reputation, he will have to wait 5 working days for their bitcoins after the reception of the SEPA transfer to be shore the banking account is legitimate. But I'll give immediate notice of the reception of the euros. Subsequent deals, with euros sent from the same first account, won't incur in any delay.
Any first deal by SEPA transfer will have to be of low amount.

The commission for cash in mail is 3% over BTC-e price. Mail should be signed for and insured. The buyer shall pay the fees.
Payment in case of cash by mail will be immediate upon arrival of the letter with the money.
Small start quantities accepted and recommended.

Check my vouches and feedback. You can trade with confidence. I never had any complain.
I also accept escrow from John (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=31288), but his fees are on you.
Check also my rules to avoid being scammed: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=198899.msg2080335#msg2080335

On the issue of the Op, see, for instance, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liquidity_trap.
907  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: New Exchange - BitSource.org on: March 29, 2014, 04:55:16 PM
With those FAQ and terms, the site fails completely to give meaningful information: fees, withdrawal means, demands for personal information or verification...
Also, they don't allow to see the orderbook without first registering.

I only found negative reviews about Bitcc:

All of them are from newbies, but the owner didn't care to answer. I would avoid.
There is this seller, but he is a newbie, I know nothing about him, use an escrow service:

Two newbies dealing with eachother? Better use escrow. The probability of one scamming the other is high. See the rules to avoid being scammed: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=198899.msg2080335#msg2080335

If you want to have any success with ads like this, you have to state how much above market price you are willing to pay and specify what systems of payment you can use. It's not enough to say you are very open. If you can use Perfect Money, Egopay or WMZ, it will be much easier to find a seller. Forget about paypal.

914  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buy btc!! I pay 660$!!! localbitcoins,wu . on: March 15, 2014, 11:30:54 PM
The ad at localbitcoins says you are selling bitcoins. However, in this thread, you say you are buying and paying 660 per bitcoin...
I'm not interested, just calling your attention for this incongruence that doesn't help on giving you any credibility.
915  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitCoinShoppe.com - Bitcoin Vitamin and Supplement Store on: March 13, 2014, 04:00:49 PM
I couldn't find if you send items worldwide or where are you based. If you are american based, isn't worthy to europeans because of shipping costs.

It might be a good idea to state that you don't require personal information or documents and your future fees.
917  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if war comes? More and more WWIII signals on: March 06, 2014, 03:21:13 AM
Is anyone taking this seriously? I'm sorry, but this hardly deserve any comment.
The US is with his hands full on Afghanistan and is still involved secondarily on Iraq. Have serious problems with North Korea, Iran and potential ones on Pakistan... They went to Libya with great reluctance. They are avoiding military intervention on Syria like the plague. They have an agreement that forces them to protect the integrity of Ukraine and they did nothing besides some words on sanctions (and that was good). If they wanted a war, they had good grounds to send troops to Ukraine immediately. Is any one really thinking that Obama wants a war with Russia?? Forget about a third world war at least for the next decade. No one is crazy to face the US. And the US has enough problems.
On Putin: he ruined the Russian Democracy to say the least.

P.S. I'm not american; I think the US should be ashamed for what they did on Iraq and Afghanistan.
918  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MTGOX Statement *NEW MAR 3RD* on: March 03, 2014, 10:45:00 PM
I don't have evidence, but some conclusions seem clear:

1) He is lying about the date when the facts happened. It's absurd to believe that so many coins were stolen and also money and he only realized that at the same time. Of course, the withdrawal delays were caused by lack of funds. Probably, the bitcoins were stolen months ago and they tried to cover it up to keep business as usual hoping to pay with fees. The rise of the price of bitcoin was a nightmare to him, making more hard to pay the loss. At some point, he understood he was completely screwed, but probably decided to let things go on, hoping for a miracle. I bet his life hasn't been easy. He told he gained all that weight because of stress. I can believe him.
2) He is lying because if he confessed he knew the bitcoins were stolen many months ago, he would be facing criminal charges. He directed a business on fractional reserve, lying to new customers on the real financial situation. Gox has been bankrupted for long, but he kept accepting new deposits. That breaks many corporate rules.
3) I suspect he is hiding a million or so for the raining days to come, but I don't think this was an inside job. He just lost thousands of bitcoins because of an hack and lied to everyone on that. The lack of fiat was probably caused by the buying of bitcoins on market to keep the bitcoins withdrawals up. He knew the day he stopped bitcoins withdrawals would be the end.
