121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A student investing in bitcoin? on: February 13, 2024, 08:41:14 AM
There are no restrictions in investing as this is for those who want. But it doesn't mean that if you see your friends or other people invested in this, you will also do the same. Let us also asses ourselves if we can take the risk and do the necessary things need before we invest. You have money but this is not all about capital as it also how knowledgeable you are think that this kind of investment suits you.

Well, I would say that investing is a good choice for you but as been said, make yourself ready to adopt the volatile nature of the market.
And to remind you not to be greedy.
122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A blog about someone planning to retire early with Bitcoin on: February 12, 2024, 12:05:03 PM
Achieving something is really on his heart. He doesn't think about the risk instead, he faces it and enjoys accumulating Bitcoin. That person gives us an idea of how important to be certain about our plan because we never achieve our goal if we keep changing it but instead, focus on one direction.
He could retire early but can't think of continuing to buy more Bitcoin. This will additionally prove that investing in Bitcoin either for the long-term or short-term is worth it and profitable. But we also have to think about this before start accumulating Bitcoin - investing is good but we should not put everything we have on crypto alone. Better to have some protection, at least whatever happens to our crypto investment, we never get empty.
123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taking a break in gambling on: February 12, 2024, 11:01:05 AM

What is the instances that makes you take a break in gambling?

When I experience continuous losses and when gambling is always in my mind.
Taking a break is somewhat necessary, not just to avoid more losses but to avoid falling into addiction. We can go elsewhere where we can divert our mind,  better to be in a place where the internet is not working well. We better do this and make it habitual rather than having regrets because it was hard when we were already hooked up by addiction.

Let us help our mind take a fresh breath but have time for something that won't give us stress.
Finding a place where we can peacefully think about the future.
124  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do You Use Crypto Signals? on: February 12, 2024, 04:02:40 AM
Yeah I do follow singals and i think singals could be an additional helping tools that would help you during investigation the market. Besides singals also saves lots of time too.
It saves your time searching and analyzing the market trend but the question is if they are reliable. Signals are not a helping tool that we could benefit with instead, this will be a reason why we fall into into wrong buy/sell position.
Quote
And in my opinion it won't be bad to follow signal until you completely depends on it. Cause not all singals will proves profitable for you and it isn't wise decision for a trader to completely depend on other skill and others singals rather than developing yourself. Thus a person can differ how to use singals and which singal will be more better to go with
It won't be bad but we should know first how reliable they are. Because many signals are scams and aside from that it was just their speculations. These people are not experts but just pretending to be an expert. Working on building out TA is a good move rather than relying on these signal groups. It will just help us realize that the market is unpredictable.
125  Economy / Speculation / Re: Going against the grain. on: February 11, 2024, 11:48:15 PM
The price of Bitcoin is $48,100 and if we bought BTC at $39,000 and sold it now, we already make some money out of it. I know some people are doing this, selling 50% and securing the profit, and waiting for the correction for reinvestment. May not be a practice my most but this is actually what I'm doing. Taking the chance to earn some while waiting for the ATH is a smart decision. Doing this strategy is possibly more profitable than just holding for several months and selling them when ATH arrives. Just imagine if we could make $3-5 a month, that was a lump sum of money in 12 months.
126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you quit gambling for a friend? on: February 11, 2024, 09:18:43 PM
For the sake of my friend's advice, I would listen but it was hard to promise to quit gambling.
Because I'd never find it wrong and harmful to gamble as long as we stick to the limit. Of course, addiction is another story that needs immediate actions and stoppage if possible. But as I see into myself, I wasn't in that situation and I don't go beyond what I am doing now. Gambling responsibly is always on my mind and I kept it that way.
127  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do You Believe, "Passive Investors Make More Than Active Investors?" on: February 11, 2024, 12:59:34 PM
I can't believe the results will favor passive investors because some traders did a good job and made a huge profit as well. Maybe if we think about safety, that would be investing but the question is which one earns more? We can't point out which one because that also depends on us. Like if choose investing, it means that we know this is what we are good at, and the same thing if we choose trading. Well, taking the two will help us determine which one is more profitable but I don't think it is necessary instead, make it straight to which line we prefer.

Whether it was not the most profitable at least we know we can make it. It was not all about earning a lot but at least, we earn some.
128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the benefits of cryptocurrency to the illiterate people on: February 10, 2024, 09:08:11 PM
Well, I'm going straight, Bitcoin couldn't help and give them benefits.
It is not going to say that Bitcoin is just for smart or knowledgeable people but can't take the part that investing in Bitcoin requires knowledge. It was hard to say but they are not capable enough for this.  For some point, let us assume that they have money and can afford to invest but this is not all about money, it also needs proper understanding. Maybe having someone who can be trusted to accompany them and manage their investment probably works but this is not really a good idea.
129  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When is the best time to trade a Bitcoin on: February 10, 2024, 02:52:22 PM
snip...
True, majority will really be that trading into that particular time at the same time on which we know that this thing isnt that possible or cant be happening. This is why it would really be that wrong on having those assumptions that there's a specific period on which a certain individual would really be making out those kind of assumptions that there would be a best time on trading Bitcoin.
Anyone could make out their own trades without having that kind of indications on which we know that this market could really move in a random way.
There's no specific fixed period on when these things would be kicking on.

This is why there's no way on knowing on what are those things or when things do starts to move out but of course everything would really be that depending
or basing up into the situation since there would really be factors on which it would really be affecting if we do speak
about movement in prices.
Yes, there's no specific fixed period when someone has to trade. But I think that the point is when you're an active trader, every time is important when there are news and you've seen something goes on with the market and community.
Showing with the analysis in technicals will help as a trader and also, coping up with what's up in the news is also going to contribute to your wins in trading. Just the best time is when you're decided, hassle free and can take any risk with any amount you trade.
Spending more time analyzing and observing the market movement could help us understand and see when hit the buy and sell button. It is just about familiarizing the trend of a particular coin that we use to trade. There is no specific time to do it due to the volatility of the market and it will be placed at any time as long as we've done the analysis. Whether to trade day or night, doesn't matter but what is important is that we do this based on our TA and market predictions. We just know that there is no perfect time to trade, it only just happens at the time when we are comfortable with it.
130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does even freezing a customer's account curb irresponsible gambling? on: February 10, 2024, 12:38:48 PM
Freezing a wallet never helps to stop addiction but they will lose clients.
But I'm not sure it is because they detected irresponsible gambling because they are supposed to be happy about having you on their platform and make deposits. Maybe for other violations that connect to irresponsible gambling in general. But as I've said and other members, this won't curb addiction as gamblers will search for another site and continue their gambling habits.

Whatever the reason for freezing an account, gamblers never see it as a worrying scenario. Well, the saddest thing is that we can't withdraw our money anymore.
131  Economy / Economics / Re: Poor people need solution now on: February 09, 2024, 01:12:10 PM
Those things are not the solution to their problems but instead, it adds more. Poor people don't need a lot of things but just 2 - being optimistic and initiative. It is just changing how we think from having a poor mindset to a rich mindset. Instead of staying in the dark side of this corner, why not go to the bright side?

We never stay poor if we take action because so many opportunities around but what happens is that we never see them. What we need is to open our minds and think even better. Stop expecting the government's help but rather think about what we can do without relying on them. Just don't go against the law.

133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Selling a property to play gamble on: February 07, 2024, 11:10:47 AM
Selling a property for gambling is not an option for me and I don't dare to do that.
I was not in a state of addiction where I couldn't think of the right things to do. It was a very unfortunate decision for a gambler to be made and this is the result of uncontrolled gambling habits. If not committing loans, some are selling properties, valuable things, and anything they have until they get empty and broke. And don't want to be in that situation which is why as early as possible, we must control our gambling habits because it was difficult when addiction started.

Make those people who sell their belongings an example of why we should minimize gambling. In fact, we can win and have fun using a small amount which is why it is not necessary to sell valuable items for capital.
134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich or poor gambler, who should risk more? on: February 07, 2024, 10:18:03 AM
Poor people risk more IMO. Why? Despite their situation and only having a small income, they still manage to risk some amounts into gambling hoping for their lives to be changed instantly. While rich people gamble without any worries on their minds and whether they lose or not, that never changes their situation, they remain rich. Whoever spends more or less, both of them are taking risks in general and both of them suffer losses but poor people have been affected too much.

Anyway, life is not too easy and everyone is looking for the chance to improve, sometimes we just choose the wrong way.

135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of Bitcoin in a Cashless Society on: February 07, 2024, 06:13:10 AM

Imagine a world where your grandma pays for cookies with BTC - wild, right? 🍪 Are we heading there or hitching a ride to a different destination?

We are heading there for sure but the road can be bumpy and there will be many distractions along they way which again am sure can make grandma a little bit dizzy so maybe I would prefer to deal with grandpa here. Now, seriously, being a payment system in a cashless society is one of the big vision for Bitcoin in a P2P setting but we know that for now there can be hiccups for this scenario to fully be effective. So am still so happy that am using BTC as a store of value because I am selfish and greedy too just like grandma...I would like to be rich and BTC can be the tool for me towards that direction.
It gradually adapted as a payment option, yet it took many years for its realization. For now, we are just at the beginning of its journey. Whether we like it or not, adoption never comes easily but be on the hard way due to some factors affecting it. Even using fiat money before has also come that way and much more in this cashless mode of payment.
Well, I guess we don't need to hurry because what we need is to have well-prepared individuals (elderly and young generations)and the legality of Bitcoin in the country.

137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does BTC mean to you? on: February 06, 2024, 11:09:57 AM
Bitcoin is just like gold for me, a precious one after gaining a high market value. I invest in Bitcoin believing that I can make more money from this. Bitcoin was just nothing 12 years ago but now, many people are crazy about this and even use the name to scam. Such popularity brings something special to all the investors and holders, and sometimes it is more than gold in terms of profit gain.

Now, I have changed my mind, instead of buying gold, I just buy Bitcoin. I consider now Bitcoin to be more precious than Gold. Many people do the same just like what I did and the good thing is that even poor people can invest which is likely impossible for Gold.
138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think women will make better gamblers by their nature? on: February 06, 2024, 10:32:00 AM
It was not proven yet as we can't generalize the situation and make a claim that women are good, and men are also good at gambling. In fact, if that claim is right, then we are able to see a lot of women on the casino or any gaming platforms but what we have seen is men. And it only just means that MEN may not be better but this place is suitable for them.

Because this is gambling and even if you are good at other things but it can change when you are gambling. Besides, this is not just about decision-making but self-control.

I understand that basically women have pretty good financial management, I believe that those who say that women can be better gamblers than men are because they see from this side where they see that women have good management in household affairs, especially managing money for home needs provided by husbands but we must be able to distinguish that the situation will be different when we talk about this in gambling, however and whoever is involved in gambling will still have the same possibility whether in terms of winning or losing opportunities and along with the worst possibility of addiction.

I don't see that women will be able to avoid this possibility because they are just like men who are someone who has feelings, mentality, emotions and other things that humans in general have, so the conclusion is that it is very possible for women to feel emotions when they lose and that means it is possible that they can also end up with addiction, I am sure of this because I have one of my neighbors who is a housewife but is very active in gambling at online casinos, I know this because sometimes we like to gamble together and I can measure the level of ambition that she releases when she loses.
There is no excuse for such feelings as we are human beings. Getting better at gambling may vary on how we deal with the situation, not because we are men or women as in the end, we are just enjoying life while gambling. In fact, our goal is to enjoy and make money but without luck, we all suffer the same result which is losing. Whether we call ourselves better than others, still we change the fact that we are gambling and we make more losses than winnings. Therefore, there is no need to argue who is better because we all better, sadly most of the time we ain't too lucky to hit the jackpot.
139  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why people mostly fail in trading on: February 06, 2024, 09:11:17 AM

In crypto trading, there are quite a lot of things that you have to learn technically and self-control is also quite influential, so it cannot be denied that if you can be patient at certain times you will be able to provide greater profits.
In crypto trading, defeat often occurs due to uncontrollable emotions, and the reverse will also happen if we are able to be patient and restrain our emotions.
Basically, everything we must have to learn in trading, not just knowledge and skills but also we need to be mentally fit. Trading doesn't need luck but a good trading decision and funds management. For some traders, they spend more money to earn more but this should not be a good practice as we are not in a rush to earn huge instead, we spend wisely and securely.

Emotion is one factor affecting our decisions, the moment we let it control our minds, certainly it goes in the wrong direction which is losses.
That is why trading is not easy as more people have thought and what we saw on social media. Struggles are really what we experience in real life and much more for newbies.
140  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who is buying like me on: February 05, 2024, 10:20:45 PM
Bitcoin Etf approval brought joy to our faces, yes another win for bitcoin, then how much more would the next halving bring,  right now all I'm doing Is buying, I was DCAING gently before, but right now no one hold me, no more gentle buys, cause right now I'm pumped, I'm dancing for the bull run, I wasn't part of the last halving cause just recently started my bitcoin journey and I can't wait to brag about beign one of the next bull run partakers. Start buying 🦾
People are buying in preparation for the next halving and expected bull season. As long as we are buying Bitcoin and potential altcoins, earning huge during this bull season is possible. Currently, the price of Bitcoin is at $42k and quite we missed it when it was below $40k but still a good buying price believing that it reaches another ATH which is probably over $60k.

But have to warn you OP to keep your wallet keys secured or use a hardware wallet if you hold more Bitcoin just to ensure that you will enjoy the rewards, not these hackers.
