921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it wise to stake your crypto currency on: May 02, 2023, 09:31:21 PM
In most custodian wallets like trust wallet staking is available for most crypto currencies including trx.is it better to stake such a coin or hodl it
It was not a bad idea but of course, you must also understand how staking works. It was very important that you understand it because you might be wondering why you can't withdraw your fund which is possibly still in the lock-in period and stopping your withdrawal. And some other cases, staking is also a reason for losing funds like using non-reputable exchanges. We should be cautious where we put stake our crypto because this is too risky as we let our funds be controlled by other parties, not us.
922  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Staking really great way in crypto wealth on: May 02, 2023, 12:48:33 PM
Staking when price fall you just buy more and put in to staking once price goes up you don't need to sell it you continue to staking so after u earn more.
The new feature on exchangers the EARN could be one of the best ways to earn income some of them Even no lock up or little as 14 days.
No liquitation risk and you sleep well newbie friendly method..instead of trading off course If you know what you doing trading good Also but staking Are great one.
It could be one way of earning a profit but this is not the best way of earning. Because what you did is just you are simply risking your funds more than just holding them in your controlled wallet.
Might you be right in saying it was great but if you know to trade, I don't really think it is the best option to take, I'll go trading instead and make money more than the profit that I could get from staking. Because if you actually know about staking, you will realize that your money doesn't grow fast but what you get is just a few bucks while these exchanges where you staked had earned more.
923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Chat GTP destroy poker on-line gambling??? on: May 01, 2023, 12:02:29 PM
Well, they managed to create bots that can play a losing game of chess and still convert it to a win, what more about poker. I just don't think bots like ChatGPT is the right job for this. Perhaps you would be needing a specialized form of AI to do the job just right, and train it with data from poker games over and over again. ChatGPT still has a lot of errors on its answers and is not very good at checking what it spews out, so instead of possibly getting a winning position it might even send you into a losing one.

it would take time but i guess, we will get to such point that chatgpt can evolve into something human-like reactions to online players. it depends on the capability of the developers. but it's always possible. as of now, they are still in the early stage of deploying it to any field. but they are showing a very promising path. we can't disregard their potential in the gambling industry though
I expect the competition rises among these AI developers. And this will take the lead for them to develop a more efficient AI which is capable to gamble like a real gambler. I foresee the changing situation in gambling but I also think the anticipation of these owners for this development and possibly, they become stricter when it comes to registration and playing. That is why even though the development continues, still not enough to beat the house. And I still don't think ChatGTP is useful in gambling, it might be better in the other place.
924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what about the fate of altcoins if btc drops to 10 dollars? on: May 01, 2023, 10:08:13 AM
let alone about the fate of altcoins, i think so many people out there are gonna be homeless, many company are gonna go bankrupt because many right now are diversifying their portfolio heavily in bitcoin so it losing its value to the point that there's only 10 dollars left would be massive disaster. it's gonna be the same if stock market are having heavy decrease in value.
But don't ever think that will happen to the investors because they surely leave the marker before it happens. So, if ever the price of Bitcoin drops to its dying price, we also have nothing to expect from altcoins (any from them) to survive as people had dumped it already until the come has come that nobody is buying anymore.

But it was just a sort of market assumption, it can be right or wrong. We never know what really awaits us in the future, 10 years, 20 years from now, perhaps we don't have any clue about it.
925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: May 01, 2023, 05:41:21 AM
No method works 100% and winning is never a guarantee in casino games. But with little odds you can make $100 with $2k. But i will still ask why risk all $2k on a single stake when gambling is not a game of certainty. The worst loss is when you stake so much for little profit only to lose everything.I will rather prefer you split the amount into four equal halves then make stakes at different times on the same game.

OP is asking on a daily basis, you can make $100 maybe for two succeeding days but I doubt you can hit it 3 to 5 days in a row, you are extremely lucky if you have that run, the house edge will find its way to beat you especially if you are extending your sessions, the longer you play the risk that you are going to lose, if you're unlucky you could lose everything.
It also depends to what kind of gambling he is going to play. 100$ is possible with a big amount of bets, but yes it cannot be effective in everyday it will not OP a passive income because it is kinda hard to maintain 100$ profit each day in gambling. If we will push ourselves to our limit just to have that amount then it will be a problem in the next few days, and probably the amount we've won will soon be gone.
I'd see that OP is trying to make gambling his living opportunity but you are right because $100 is possible to earn. However, talking about daily, whether we like it or not, things won't go that easy especially, when we just rely on luck in order to win. No matter what strategy we used, no matter how long we've been staying in the casino, doubted it will happen instead, I'm going to believe that losses seem to catch us. Maybe earning $1,000 a month seems achievable but never count the losses.
926  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you blame someone for your gambling losses? on: April 30, 2023, 01:51:50 PM
Yes, some people are right for not blaming others because it was our choice to be here and gamble our money. Indeed, it was not right but I hate to say that sometimes it happens especially if having terrible losses because of that person. I surely cannot hold my tempter. Therefore, before we gamble we have to be sure that whatever happens to our funds is still okay. No hurt feelings when it is a loss and no blaming should be done otherwise, we put an end to our gambling life as it was not healthy, and ain't doing this for entertainment anymore but it was already a chase of winning.
927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it advisable to invest on Solana? on: April 30, 2023, 01:06:35 PM
As like the BNB most of the crypto traders had their holding in the Solana, because it was expected to reach the value of 100 dollars in short period of time.Still the price of the Solana was in the good pump of 23 dollars. It was expected to rise to the 50 dollars in the end of the June.So that the price of Solana will reach the 100 dollars at the end of the year.Since the demand of Solana was high due to the transaction fee of some new coin based on the Solana network. The USDT also had the withdraw through the Solana in the binance itself. So their was good demand for the Solana in the binance itself.

Not so fast. I highly doubt Solana will reach $100 this year. The FUD around Alameda and SBF hasn't died down yet, the coin's recovery may take some time, if it ever happens of course. I'm not surprised where such bold predictions come from, the market is bullish right now, price recovery after a long crypto winter, many have a false sense that growth will continue, but the market often prepares traps for such investors.
Apparently, many investors are expecting too much from Solana. I feel such sentiment because this project show a great move in the past few days and in the previous bull market. But you are right, it is too hard to expect a project to grow fast when FUDs are affecting it as people will surely change their minds upon hearing them. Not actually a bad choice for investment but we also have to keep in mind that not all the time it goes that way (bullish).
Currently it was traded at nearly $24 and thinking for $100, yes, that is way too far from reality.
928  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I don't know if am right or wrong about this. on: April 30, 2023, 10:19:14 AM
...

I don't want a situation whereby someone will say that I scammed him if there is a sudden dip in the crypto industry, so I just told him to open a binance account and verify it, after then, he should get back to me so I can send him the hard copy of the crypto course I bought.
Uptil now I still feel uncomfortable about it, I don't know if am wrong or right for opening up, even though I told him of the risk involved.
What you did is right. You're not asking your friend to trade but it was himself finding a way to try. He asks you because he has an interest in it and he owes you actually. He can't blame you either for whatever happens to his trade because, in the first place, you have already explained it so well. Besides, you never hold his money, he is the one controlling it.
Anyways, he would understand more about trading when he gains more experience. Might be hard for your friend to adjust so he always seek your guidance and idea, and don't worry about it as sooner, he is able to stand on his own feet.
929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 30, 2023, 02:21:09 AM
Here is my bet for tonight.

The Phoenix Suns will visit the Denver Nuggets tonight for their first game of the second round of playoffs. Tip-off tonight at Ball Arena. The number 1 seed will heavily rely on Jokic to win this game against the star-studded Phoenix Suns. Hopefully, fatigue will not be a problem for Monty Williams, who plays a very short rotation and relies heavily on their stars.

The home team controlled the first half, but in the second half, the road team is slowly coming back. However, since you chose the moneyline, I think that's a safe bet, and it will likely win easily. Well, we know in the NBA, nothing is impossible, so the Suns may come back in the second half, but the likelihood of a comeback is not that high, so I trust the home team will win this game.

As for my bet, I have them at -3.5, so I'm excited and hoping they will cover the spread.

By the way, the Joker is unstoppable; he already has a double-double.
930  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if BTC won't see ATH again? on: April 29, 2023, 09:54:57 PM
...
Some reasons collected so far:

1. "More than 90% of the people in this world has not yet bought bitcoin, do not worry, the adoption is still continuing. You will still see bitcoin at $100000 ane more."

it never crossed many people's minds that bitcoin touched $ 50k but in fact bitcoin has reached that price, now people are asking whether bitcoin will touch $ 100k, and although no one can confirm it is 100% but bitcoin will definitely touch value $100k/BTC.

Perhaps, it was possible but I haven't think it right now. Because reaching $100k is not that easy, not that we think when people and these investors never know how to hold but just sell their Bitcoins when there are short pumps. We'd see the price before keep on growing, we make it as a basis for the future, we are able to reach $20k, another $60k for new ATH, and we are expecting a higher price in this bull season. That is how we viewed the journey of Bitcoin and we gain some faith but couldn't assure that it all be happening this time as it remains unpredictable.
931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is important? Knowledge or Experience? Or both in Bitcoin Learning! on: April 29, 2023, 09:25:46 PM
As you explained both of them are indeed very much needed because besides we have high knowledge but without a little experience then everything can feel difficult if we do, and currently there are very many people who are rich in experience but the knowledge he has is very little but with a big push from experience everything is easy to do because there is already a little knowledge that ups and downs so that it can be a lesson, So from there we will get new knowledge, then both are very important.
Indeed, those who come into trading will already have some basic knowledge about it but it was not enough to become a good trader. But should not be a big deal because we are doing this, In actual trading we gain experience and more knowledge as well. They are both important in the sense that it is a must otherwise, we just go nowhere.

This is what it looks like;
knowledge + experience = success
So those who come in trading should not be thinking it works so easily as it takes time to develop all of these things until we gain success.
932  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Will you sell because of situations? on: April 29, 2023, 02:19:59 PM
This story is pathetic, the man who introduce me to bitcoin, his kid sis was knapped 2 weeks now and the kidnappers are asking for a huge ransom of  N10 Million Nigeria currency but the whole thing looks like a plan work from some people close to him because many people know him to be crypto dealer. Now this money is never available anywhere, the man's only option is to sell his bitcoin and even if he does is not up to the amount. Do you advise he sells and bail his kid sister?  Everybody is confuse.

Many things happens this days, putting you on a test! At what situations did you think you can sell your bitcoin and forget about bitcoin like it has never exist in your life. Knowing well the situation you're into many must have passed it and scale through without selling. What then will make you to sell even if the price is against you?

Regardless of the price, I think with this kind of situation, there’s no sense if you are still weighing things, if you will sell or not. As long as it concerns life over death, then it’s an automatic decision to save first the one that needs to be saved, even if it causing all your bitcoin to sell and leave you with nothing. What’s more important here is life over wealth and money. And I think a lot would agree to this.
Yes, and I know we can't afford to lose someone's life just in exchange for money. If selling our Bitcoin is the best option, why not? Everyone can sacrifice their Bitcoin, even selling them at a cheap price is still okay as long as it was used for a very important reason.
But I also think the reason why this thing happened to them is this man is too bulgar of his achievements and so proud of his Bitcoin without thinking about the possible threats awaiting him. That is why some rich people keep themselves anonymous as possible for they don't want to become a target of evil people.
933  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any point to start trading with 20$? on: April 29, 2023, 10:18:06 AM
I would say that $20 is a very small amount but that was enough to start a journey in trading as if ever you fail and lose it all, it was not hurt compared to $100. However, never think that $20 is easy to grow, it was different when you are using a huge amount. But as a beginner, you don't have to think about either instead, make a prior to learning trading more as it was too easy for you then to achieve it. I believe that most traders are starting with small capital and slowly it becomes bigger. You can make it as an example as to know that trading is not a quick-rich game.
934  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading not a get rich quick on: April 28, 2023, 09:37:07 PM
This is the result of overly thinking of ourselves that we can do trading without proper education and skills. A result of using other's money thinking that we can generate more while using a huge capital. And the story reminds us that only trade the amount that we can afford to lose and of course, that money should not becoming from anyone, it should be coming from our pocket.
And most of all, we have to know the consenquences in trading. We can't guarantee profit assurance that is why we should not be confident enough, most especially if we are just new.
935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any advice for invest my first 600$ in altcoins? on: April 28, 2023, 11:03:42 AM
I can't suggest the best for you.  All projects that you will invest there are risks.  You just choose what kind of risk you can accept.  I agree with some of the projects you have invested in but if it were me I would choose projects like ADA, Doge, XRP, CRO and CFX.  It is also for long term investment.

I had ADA, Doge and I just sell them with small profit. Because for example take a look at Cardano. They have nice ecosystem and projects. But it can't give enough ATH even in covid started year. So I sold all them with small 4-5% profit. I will never invest again these coins. Thats why I looked into 2023 started alts mostly.
The same thing happen to me before when Investing in ADA, I hold long but the result is too far from what I expect to happen. That is why I'd never put it back on my list and so these meme coins.
These days, we really have to play well and be cautious in choosing altcoins to invest in because not all of the top altcoins in the CMC are profitable. Choosing a hyped project gives more possible profit but the risk is too high. As I was thinking about the $600 investment capital, if I were you OP, I'll put half of it in ETH and BNB (as additional) while the other $300 is for new projects.
936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 13) on: April 27, 2023, 04:33:49 AM
I wouldn't say it's a stepping stone for Casimero, this is just another fight that he needs to win, simply as that. This Nghitumbwa has nothing to offer in his career, Casimero has face more tougher opponents in the past. Nghitumbwa is not even a former champion, so most likely he was cherry pick by the camp of Casimero so that he will look like a great fighter again.

And with that, John Riel should win this easy, via a brutal knockout. And if that happens, then maybe his Japanese promoter can now chase a good boxer in this division, inching closer to maybe the champion in this division. So he should beat him bad, close him out early to send the message across.

Just a tune-up fight, I guess. It will only be a stepping stone if it's a big fight that would put him in position to be the number one contender, and then he'll get a chance to have a championship fight. Casimero is quite new to this division; IIRC, this is only his third fight. So, probably, more fights will come before he gets a shot to challenge the champion.
937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Devin Haney vs Vasiliy Lomachenco - May 20 on: April 27, 2023, 02:52:18 AM
What do you think is better - Loma via KO or Loma via decision? Personally, even though the odds for a decision are higher, I still prefer the probability of him winning via knockout because it's more exciting to watch and people will be impressed with his performance.

I haven't put a bet yet for this fight as i planned to put some maybe 2 days before fight night.

To avoid the complications, that ML odds of 2.95 is the way to go though I will put some money on Loma by decision. That Loma by KO is very juicy though but with both fighters a technical one, I doubt that there would be a knockout.
Okay, so I guess we're on the same side here. I hope this isn't a one-sided fight in favor of Haney, as he really looks strong. But knowing Loma, he hasn't lost a fight yet where he was fully dominated. We're betting on an old Loma, but who cares - he'll prove he's not out of his prime.

His KO rate isn't that high, so it's a great strategy for Loma to attack early. However, I hope he'll be able to hit Haney with clean shots because if he doesn't, he'll just get tired and eventually, Haney will take advantage of that.

In that Lopez fight, Loma was so hesitant to attack or maybe Loma was just a slow starter but in my mind, I think he has so much respect on the power of Lopez that he thought that if he attack early and got caught with one power punch, he is done.

Knockout may happen if there is an opening but i doubt one will happen because Haney is not a KO artist and Loma is fighting a bigger opponent which is hard to KO. I just hope here that Loma will be aggressive early to accumulate some points and ultimately win the fight via decision.

Haney is probably bigger, but they'll be on the same weight on the day of the fight. So just like the Tank vs. Garcia fight where Garcia was the taller fighter and probably bigger, Tank Davis was still able to find a way to hurt Garcia and knock him out.
938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: April 27, 2023, 01:26:15 AM
Good thing that you still believe in our PBA kabayan hehe. Same here, I bet on the game thinking that it's not rigged or scripted as we sometimes jokingly say but based on the strength of the team and its adjustment made to win a ball game.

As a long-time PBA enthusiast here, I think for 20 years already, I'm not blind to those dramas, scripts, "bigayan", "Sagip Kapamilya" issues at some of the games. We can't really blame others who think that the league is scripted. Maybe yes, maybe no, but more importantly, I'm sure "most" games are still fair and square like what I pointed out before.

Actually, we can assume if the game is scripted or not if we watched the game live and we saw unusual things that are supposed not to happen.
This isn't just in the PBA but in most sports - people often think that games are rigged, but until now, no one has proven it. So it will just remain a speculation, and regardless, it won't affect the interest of the people in watching the game, especially for those real diehard fans.

Thanks for the correction, but this suspension might not have happened if the brawl did not occur. Additionally, since this game is public, is Big Beau foolish enough to play in that league despite knowing the possibility of getting suspended?

If I'm not mistaken that was an invitational game or some sort of that, and since Rain Or Shine is resting for a long now and PBA now finished its recent season, Belga thinks that it's fine not to coordinate on his team as this game he played is an event. Yes, if there's no brawl happening, Belga might get away from the possible suspension. Abueva before has the same case if I'm not mistaken, playing outside the PBA even under a live contract.

Belga should be more careful as he is not getting any younger, he is lucky to still have a contract with the ROS, but if he continues breaking the rules, we might not be able to see him again in the PBA.
939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Devin Haney vs Vasiliy Lomachenco - May 20 on: April 26, 2023, 12:50:42 PM

But for all Loma supporters out there, this is already a good timing to support him while his odds are much crazier as who knows it might decline in the coming weeks because, after all, Loma is a live underdog.

Current odds for Loma is 3.17 and to win via decision is 4.20

Good odds indeed for Loma's fans like me hehe. He may be the underdog for the bookies but for me, this is a 50-50 fight because Loma has the upper hand here on experience. Loma's previous opponents' skill level are up a notch compared to the opponents of Haney.

What do you think is better - Loma via KO or Loma via decision? Personally, even though the odds for a decision are higher, I still prefer the probability of him winning via knockout because it's more exciting to watch and people will be impressed with his performance.

Quote
The good thing I see here is that Haney is not a one-punch KO artist like Lopez where Loma was hesitant to brawl. On this one, I think he will attack early to try to hurt Haney as he could take the latter's punch without worrying of a knockout.

His KO rate isn't that high, so it's a great strategy for Loma to attack early. However, I hope he'll be able to hit Haney with clean shots because if he doesn't, he'll just get tired and eventually, Haney will take advantage of that.
940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Surprise back!!!! on: April 26, 2023, 09:27:43 AM
His rocket just crashed, so meme lovers can expect him to be back to hype and making money with dogecoin soon. I bet so far, Elon Musk doesn't have an easy explanation for the behavior he did with Dogecoin before, maybe now market participants are paying attention to other issues so it doesn't matter. cares a lot about Dogecoin, but for me it will have a repetition with a new trick.
it is a loss for him of course but Elon that has billions of dollars? that is not totally a big loss for him but of course he will act again to bag money
and His milk and butter for that is cryptocurrency market.
as he is still popular and everything he posts seems to be having value.
but I will not fall from his traps again lol.
Elon Musk has a huge amount of supporters which is enough to manipulate the market trend and make Doge pump like before. Though some people had already opened their minds and avoided his trap, you couldn't still think that no one will fall into his words/actions because there are a lot of innocent investors who are stilling believing him. And what we have witnessed in the past few days is still showing his influence and he uses the twitter platform to play tricks and win.
