881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do people with loads of different altcoins store them in an efficient manner on: May 07, 2017, 04:49:51 AM
most people whom you see are traders and they all care about an altcoin for a short period of time. nobody is "storing" an altcoin unless they are bag holders that missed the pump to sell their coins and now are in a dump.

so they all keep their coins on exchanges and sell it as soon as possible. that may take a couple of days to a week max. and they withdraw bitcoin to their cold storages.
882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where do you see LTC go? on: May 07, 2017, 04:20:01 AM
LTC to 50 USD will happen by June

50 USD is just the start. we are going to see a lot more.
so many other altcoins, better say other shitcoins, have gone up a lot more than litecoin.
now imagine an old altcoin with a good developers team and a solid background. an altcoin which has real world usage. an altcoin that has Segwit and lightning network on it with fast transactions that are also cheap.
this altcoin will start at $50 then goes fast up to $100 and from then to $200 within this year alone!
883  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ViaBTC: Should we active Segwit? on: May 07, 2017, 04:12:54 AM
It's been less than a month since the last time they announced that they are against it https://medium.com/@ViaBTC/why-we-dont-support-segwit-91d44475cc18
Do you guys believe that they changed their mind  so quick and now they are seriously thinking to start signaling segwit?

in the end miners are just our employees who are mining the blocks. it doesn't matter if they want Segwit or not, that much.
as Lauda keeps repeating as the super majority wants Segwit, they will eventually see they have no other choice but to embrace it.
884  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we expect "average Joe" to remember passphrases to his Bitcoins? on: May 05, 2017, 06:51:27 AM
How about this way of generating a passphrase.

Second part: Your fingerprint

wut?
The second part of the passphrase will be... Your fingerprint?
Ignoring how complicated all your idea is...
What is a phrase fingerprint? xD
Passwords may not remember. But there are such functions when the password can be restored, and access with the help of a mesh of the eye or a fingerprint is very difficult to forge. So it's worth thinking about how to secure your documents and money other things.

that is not such a good idea.
the fingerprint system is not perfect yet and it has some problems, and reaching a truely random password with it will be hard (from what i have understood from what i have read).

also consider what if you burnt your fingers? what will you do them? all your money will be lost because you simply lost something that you could never "back-up"
Burning your fingers would only happen on 1/10000 chance and if youre a careless person then possibilities of this thing to happen would be high. Biometrics is always a good security and if you are not satisfied then choose iris scanner it would be much better if you do really concern about security into your bitcoins.

i am not exactly referring to a horrible incident that you lose your finger for example although that is still possible and leads to total loss.
but even small burn like burning it with a hot stove or something leads to you have no access to your money at least until your finger is healed! and that should be a concern because you wouldn't have any other way of accessing your funds then.
885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Breaking News!! ETH Breaks $100!! on: May 05, 2017, 06:22:57 AM
yeah that is an awesome pump that ethereum has. i am very glad i caught the train early and bought before this pump started. but i don't think there is anyway at all possible for it to go any higher than this.

i may be wrong but i am not willing to stick around and find out. i have already dumpe most of my eth coins and will dump the rest too. this is turning into such a scary bubble.

and besides if it started rising again i will join then but for now i prefer having my money back in my pocket where it is safe and dumpers can not make it go down.
886  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin crash coming? on: May 05, 2017, 06:19:22 AM
I am not worried on seeing such topics on speculations on bitcoins. Now I am having more confident that bitcoin will bounce back from any level of crash.
this is also what i believe.
all these years of data on the charts should have already proven this, and if anybody had any doubts in their mind about it, they deffinitely lost it when price went down from $1250 to $880 and back up again.
and that shows the huge and growing demand for bitcoin, and that is still there and will buy bitcoin back up.

Quote
After hitting ~$1630, prices fell back to ~$1470 but now again trading around $1590, do I need to mind about crashes or a fluctuations of $150 is not covered under crashes ?

i think this is mostly because of the big price rise because when prices go up fast like this, the orderbooks become thinner than usual and also people have shakier hands.

888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When will the bubble pop?? on: April 30, 2017, 02:59:14 AM
the only thing we can say for sure is that it WILL pop, but when of it is not easy thing to say. but i can say it won't be a year+ because it pops as traders take their money out of the market and they will do it because they need that money to make more profit.
for most coins it will be a month after their pump at most.
but for bigger coins it will be a slow pop when price goes down slowly and people don't sell because they are in denial!
889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoin is the most undervalued right now? (list) on: April 30, 2017, 02:43:22 AM
these days i go around and look at the charts for the most part of my days and find altcoins that have not yet been pumped. The Pharmacist had a good point but also he is missing that this market is mostly pump and dump, which means a coin that has not been pumped has a good potential of getting pumped.

now when i find such a coin if i see the volume and i like it and some other things that i research for, i go fo it.
the problems is that right now the coin that has not been pumped are rare!

but i have found 3 that i also invested in (pumped not yet fully) they are LTC, NEM, XMR
890  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ANY BTC HOLDER WORST NIGHTMARE, and it happened to me... on: April 30, 2017, 02:25:53 AM
oh man that is terrible. sorry that happened to you. but thanks for sharing this with us, this actually made me go ahead and made another copy of my password on a piece of paper and i stored it somewhere very safe for cases of emergency that i forgot the password in the future.
891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin (LTC) Prediction - 2017 on: April 29, 2017, 03:08:01 PM
there is a lot of good news about litecoin these days, one after another. and the developers team is surely super active these days and they have also joined forces with the developers who were working on lightning network and when it is implemented i would expect a lot of hype and more good news leading to a much bigger rise.

for now there is also a lot of good attention focused on litecoin and that is a very good thing. the price has been playing around the 0.01BTC but there is a very strong resistance at that price. and that shows a good number of traders are trying to buy in at any chance they get.

all that said i can easily see a rise to $30 in short term, then after a while another easy rise to the $50+ and above. but i think it would be a bit hard to reach $100 since that is a big rise compared to the current $15ish price.
892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: have you ever held a stupidly high percentage of a coin's total supply? on: April 29, 2017, 02:51:09 PM
the only people who can answer "YES" to this question are either the coin creators who premine the shit out of their coin and hold like 90% of the supply or the whales who are manipulating the price and hold a large portion of the coins, mostly the shitcoins at higher than 50% percentages. and none of them will even answer and reveal themselves!

the rest of us small traders who you can find on bitcointalk are never stupid enough to go that big in an altcoin that is going to cost us a lot.
and besides i believe that if you can buy a large portion of a coin's supply that means that coin is not really worth investing in! price goes up when they have a good distribution and a good adoption.
893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When your friend that cut you up about bitcoin now wants you to hook him up... on: April 29, 2017, 02:41:21 PM
it seems that you lack patience Smiley
i on the other hand have a lot of it when it comes to introducing bitcoin to someone specially if they are a firend. and believe me when i say i have had lots of them who didn't even accept it at first but they all came around and came back begging for more information. and i always give it to them.
they all thanked me later.
894  Other / Meta / Re: Where are you 'Iamnotback'? on: April 28, 2017, 05:41:47 AM
he got banned  Undecided
Call me a silly skeptic, but without proof I don't believe you.   He isn't a shitposter or a copy-paster, so why would he be banned?  I definitely missed it if this is true.

i agree, he was not at all a shitposter but he was a copy paster. one day during the litecoin pump rise i visited bitcointalk and every topic i opened i saw him in it copying the same thing and pasting it in all the threads! which was very weird.

but i think he is not banned, he went away himself. most probably because he got dissapointed in his litecoin choice and it took a lot longer than he was speculating for LTC to rise and instead it got dumped and he lost money.
but that is just my guess. we may never know.
895  Economy / Speculation / Re: ask for invest in bitcoin on: April 28, 2017, 05:27:31 AM
Hello friends....
Is that good time to buy bitcoin..need ur reply for safe investment...i heard that bitcoin will dump to1000$..so in these rumours i can't do that decide proper fact

what you have heard is not rumours, we call them FUD. nobody has any ways to see the future yet! so if someone says "bitcoin will dump to $1000" then he is full of it. and you need to stop listenting to him and stop repeating him other places!

there is always a chance of going down. we can't deny that. but in the long run price will go up, and nobody can deny that either. nothing can change the fact that there is still a very limited amount of bitcoin in the word and the demand for this scarce coin is increasing day by day which means price rising.
896  Economy / Services / Re: ۩۞۩ secondstrade.com ★signature campaign★ on: April 28, 2017, 05:19:28 AM
i am quoting this here in case you missed it from the previous topic.
glad you are back by the way.

Thanks for the payment.

but you paid me a bit less, since i joined this campaign in the last days of last round and i believe the posts should have rolled over to this week's payment. meaning a total of 17 posts.
897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone NOT made profit in this astonishing bull run?? on: April 28, 2017, 05:13:58 AM
not as much as i hoped for. i was a bit lazy then scared to get in some of the altcoins so i stayed away, i am happy about the choices that i made but still it suckes to miss so much profit and make a smaller amount.
but it is never over, i prefer a smaller and slower profit any day over taking higher risks that i am not willing to take.
898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SegWit Confirms On Litecoin In 2 Weeks, LTC Could Hit $25 on: April 25, 2017, 03:20:41 PM
there days there is only good news about litecoin, when i look at the short term charts there seems to be some whales keeping the price down by constantly dumping the price and not letting it go up as soon as it rises a bit. possibly because they want to buy more and keep accumulating.
although as !shyliar  said above we may never know. but i think the chances of rising up and this being a big accumulation phase is a lot higher than anything else.
i am expecting a big rise in near future.
899  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia Opens the Door to Cryptocurrencies on: April 25, 2017, 02:52:46 PM
i don't think we can call this exactly a "U-Turn" because there has always been talk and only talk not actions about bitcoin. and that is what all the countries doing. and it is understandable too. you need to be worried about illegl activities being done with bitcoin just like you need to be worried about illegal activities being done with fiat. but that doesn't mean extreme actions in either case.
900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC: moon or doom? on: April 25, 2017, 02:34:21 PM
at this point that SegWit is seeing an unbeleivable support of 99% from miners and everyone else, i think it is easy for us to say with absolute certainty that there is only one way to go and that is UP to the MOON.

these days that we are currently seeing are the last days of cheap litecoin for the foreseable future. right now everyone who is wise enough are happily accumulating LTC before the rally begins to $50 and beyond.
