It called arbitrage trading , Well for some exchanges the currency is locally for ex in Bithumb there is BTC/KRW which is korean currency and you are not able to do it if you don't have KRW money , yes I have done arbitrage trading in Sc coin , it gave me some percentages , it could be risky though.

In my portfolio i got some Powr , because i'm an electrical engineer and i think it is a respectful project!
I got some Lend too , it was interesting to me , I also like cardano , just too many coins it has as a total supply!

Ltc is a fork of bitcoin , it didn't show something new at the beginning , it uses bitcoin blockchain , but Eth invented something new , some new blockchain , I'd suggest you keep some of that money in Eth and some in Btc instead of LTC,if You don't want to take high risk.

If you take a look at former ICO's you will see many of them never had been added to any exchange!
yes they were some successful project like NEO , Qtum  but they are rare , if you could find these rare ones you will get a good profit!

yes I'm agree with you , learning something is more important than make some benefits without learning anything , I try to learn from trading ,so i'm always winner even if i loss because i have learned something!

Bitcoin seems to have been stable these days , and every one is optimist about it that it will touch 20000 $ soon!

there are 3 types of trader
1.Short term trader or day trader Riskey and stressful but it could gives u a lot of money too!
2.Mid term trader or Swing trader It is less stressfull than day trading
3.long term trader , which i chosed to keep 50% of my coins in this part so i decreased my losses!

Well there is something called stop loss , holding won't help you always , sometimes you should sell as soon as possible if you find out a coin becomes scam!
people have different ideas so you should do your own research before taking any decision in the market .

Once i deposited Sc in it  , and took 21 days till they show that on my wallet!
i submitted 2 tickets and they respond after 2 months!
It gave me a hard time , i really try not to go there if i can buy a coin in any other exchange.

I used to be a day trader , it was riskey and it gave me a hard time!
now I'm a crypto holder , I choose good projects and hold them!

Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Litecoin (LTC).

i have a feeling that these two are going to be big in the upcoming months mostly because bitcoin fees are increasing a lot these days and both of these have been advertised as having low fees and fast transactions.
and that can be a good thing for pumps to come.

the only thing i can say for bitcoin potential is that we are far far away from reaching the begining of it.
for years bitcoin has to be adopted, improved and go up in price before we say now it is some small percentage of its potential.

i come back here to see what is happening and i see all the "bitcoin tanks", "price is dropping",... topics and i am like what the hell are these people even talking about

last i remember price was 3 thousand something and was struggling to go back to $4k+ and now it is $5500-$5700

i don't know about all these other people but that is a big rise in my books...

so much has happened in the past few weeks that i have been away from bitcoin world...
a guy can't take some time off from bitcoin it seems!

i have missed the sell like OP and now according to my research we all have to wait until they finish up their wallet so we can send the tokens to exchanges to dump...

you obviously have only 1 option: bitcoin
nothing else would go up in long term except bitcoin.

other altcoins may go up big time in short term like in a couple of weeks but after they are done rising, they start falling back down to the low levels they used to be.

the rise is just starting up.
taking a couple of steps back to recover is always a very good sign actually. you should be happy that bitcoin dropped otherwise all the bubble calls would have been true. and it has been falling before too.

there is a good side to this though. right now that bitcoin is still young and small but yet big, it is best to get all these forks, as many as possible out of the way. let them fork and let us see how bitcoin resists all of them.

in the end when bitcion remains strong through all this, it will become even stronger. there won't be any "fear of fork" in the future as everyone will know what consensus means.

so far whenever bitcoin price goes up, most of the altcoins (specially the top 10 alts) get dumped pretty hard.

and it has already happened, with bitcoin over $4000 everything is in red again.
