81  Other / Archival / Re: WasabiWallet.io | Open-source, non-custodial Bitcoin Wallet for desktop on: June 25, 2023, 06:57:29 PM
What is your complaint, exactly?  The WabiSabi protocol provides a way confirm the coordinator is not performing a Sybil attack.
Do you even read our posts or are you literally a bot repeating the same thing over and over to everyone? You said we need private coins to avoid a Sybil attack. Tell me how I can get those in the first place. How the hell am I supposed to get a private coin through Wasabi before using Wasabi? (btw it’s at least the third time I’m asking this question)
82  Other / Archival / Re: WasabiWallet.io | Open-source, non-custodial Bitcoin Wallet for desktop on: June 25, 2023, 05:46:28 PM
What if:
  • I don't have private coins?
Then get some if you are really that paranoid about testing for Sybil attacks.
You’re joking I hope. You said you are the solution to privacy for BTC. How do I get private BTC considering you’re the only option to get privacy coins? You’re either trolling or at this point you’re trying so hard it’s starting to become embarrassing for your case.

- me: I’m really hungry but there’s no place around to go eat
- Kruw’s logic: Then just go get some food if you are really that hungry bro

Guys, there is no need to argue about the details. We got the real answer here (emphasis mine).
I missed the reply from @nopara73 although it’s quite obvious that’s what happened, they couldn’t’ve changed their mind all of a sudden and their explanations surely almost never make sense. I wouldn’t even mind so much that they chose to go to bed with authorities. I just can’t stand how they’re trying to manipulate everyone else into thinking their Coinfirm affiliation doesn’t support surveillance. If they didn’t try to convince us they’re the solution to privacy and if they didn’t start throwing darts at everyone here who’s disappointed and has questions for Wasabi, I doubt anyone would’ve cared.

Okay, you had the choice to start all over and discard your current lifestyle or continue business but accept the compromise that ends everything you stood for. No problem, nobody cares, there’ll be a little disappointment and that’s all. What they’re doing though is leaving behind their own morals every time they argue and they’re choosing to not only go to bed with authorities but also manipulate, and I can’t stand or support that choice.
84  Other / Archival / Re: WasabiWallet.io | Open-source, non-custodial Bitcoin Wallet for desktop on: June 24, 2023, 09:47:42 PM
Could you explain how the Sybil attack will be detected?

Yes:  You try to register a private coin in the same round as your non private coin that is the supposed target of the attack.  If your private coin isn't denied, then the round is not under a Sybil attack.
OK I have  no private coins right now. All the private coins were spent and there’s obviously no way you can buy a private BTC. Tell me how this magical detection of an attack works on my case, considering my BTC wallet’s past can be linked together so all my UTXOs can be linked to the same identity.

Since all you are promoting trusted third parties to custody your coins with and keep your transaction history private then I guess you aren't target audience Wasabi is looking for: The WabiSabi coinjoin protocol is non custodial and trustless, which must be why it doesn't make any of you happy Cry
Lol I was waiting for this answer to come. You must have a lot of ego and frustration to  resort to attacking me as well now. What I or anyone else is promoting is none of your business. You’re a business. I’m  your customer. If it’s someone who must do research about the other it should be me researching you, not the other way around. I used to admire your software, but right now the only thing I admire is your fantastic way of skipping 90% of the questions you don’t like and evasively answering the other 10%.

My advertised service doesn’t promote themselves as the solution to Bitcoin privacy, doesn’t claim it’s non custodial or trustless. They’re sincere and at this point I much rather use them than your sketchy software.

I think you may have a problem, do you even realize you’re literally going after everyone here and your competitors too by weirdly deeply researching who we are and openly, aggressively targeting us? Maybe you don’t realize this and I’m the first to bring it up for you.. but it seems like a problem if you ask me.

Now let’s focus on Wasabi. This is not about MixTum, not about Samourai who you decided to attack either, not about what o_e_l_e_o has in their signature or anyone else who to you is now an enemy you have to attack. You’re Wasabi and we’re (were) your customers. Do you actually think this is a progress for Wasabi? Are you guys cheering about your customers not liking stuff? Woohoo, we’re arguing with our customers about the things they don’t like because we’re obviously smarter and better than them!

To answer your statement about me not being happy  Cry Cry Cry, has your mind ever had this thought that maybe, just maybe, some of us simply ran out of alternatives and the services we promote are literally the only services providing privacy that we still like? If you think I should be happy about Wasabi working with Coinfirm then you live in a big delusion lol.

Pretenders and liars don’t really get much advertisement from me tbh, so maybe think about that as well

Side note: if I had a Bitcoin business, the worst fear of mine would be Loyce and o_e_l_e_o complaining. At that point, I know I’m doing something wrong. If someone had a Bitcoin business, when the business is targeting and arguing with LoyceV or o_e_l_e_o , I know something’s up and fishy. You very well know this too. the difference is you just don’t care because you have no morals left.
85  Other / Archival / Re: WasabiWallet.io | Open-source, non-custodial Bitcoin Wallet for desktop on: June 24, 2023, 07:38:09 PM
So,
  • You’re advertising Wasabi as an open source software pretending it solves Bitcoin’s privacy but you’re also happily working with a very anti privacy corporation and their closed source API
  • You’re literally talking about how a highly centralized enemy of our privacy is not going to hurt our privacy, make discriminatory or malicious moves or try to hurt us. You’re literally basically asking us to trust.
  • The most mind blowing part of this list: You are openly arguing and contradicting with any of your real, legitimate past user of yours, on the forum where they were openly, strongly supporting your software as the best thing ever for our privacy and you are literally trying your best to convince everyone else who wasn’t part of what Wasabi used to be that Wasabi is better now than it was before. This is just ridiculous!!!

Dear Kruw, since all of this mind blowing shit is already being said and done by you, I have a question. What is your motive and who is your real target audience or base of customers? Judging by the way it looks, we aren’t the customers you’re looking for anymore. You’re literally contradicting and openly attacking some users who were probably doing more marketing for your software up to a point, and you know which point I’m talking about. You becoming traitors.

This raises some big question marks and red flags over the question I underlined above. If your purpose here is to mislead and pretend you’re our saviors, I’m starting to believe you’re turning into the exact opposite of the way you want the public to see Wasabi and your team.
86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some notable events in Bitcoin history on: June 23, 2023, 05:30:27 AM
ATHs are definitely checkmarks but is Bitcoin all about price and market cap? Let’s focus on other things too. What did Bitcoin achieve during these years, non-price related?

Only in the last few years:
  • El Salvador adopts Bitcoin nationally
  • Lightning Network comes as a L2 solution to help with network congestions and provide instant payments
  • Bitcoin has never been successfully attacked, exploited or fallen down for even a second
  • Notable corps like Tesla accepted Bitcoin for a while

Make a list like this. Let’s do actual achievements, find the ones more important to Bitcoin and decentralization.
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I strongly suspect a sinister move here. You? on: June 22, 2023, 08:41:52 PM
If this is a plan, we have a lot of things to worry about. They’re clearly planning to apply surveillance everywhere but I’m still having a very small hope that I’m just too paranoid.

This is a dystopia we’re heading to at a way faster pace than I imagined. I don’t want to live in one. If things get worse in a few years, I’ll seriously consider moving to a very isolated country/society where freedom isn’t doublethought. I rather live a simple life than be a slave of theirs.
88  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Investors Confidence in Bitcoin💪 on: June 22, 2023, 07:28:01 PM
Expect nothing if you don’t want disappointment is my best tip for ya. Halvings are usually nothing special, don’t expect to sit tight and watch the charts rallying. The post halving effects come later, it’s usually months or even an year away from the halving block. It’s awesome being confident, you go past bear panic modes way easier and it’s less likely to make illogical decisions.
89  Other / Archival / Re: WasabiWallet.io | Open-source, non-custodial Bitcoin Wallet for desktop on: June 22, 2023, 04:29:05 AM
The WabiSabi coinjoin protocol is uniquely resilient against the sort of Sybil attack you just described, I explain how a malicious coordinator can be detected by clients here: https://twitter.com/Kruwed/status/1643265823409143810
You just explained to me that everything needed for an attack is around 15BTC and linking the right UTXOs at the right time to my identity and you can successfully attack me.

If I never heard about CoinJoin but used BTC before, it’s very likely I made enough mistakes to link most of my addresses or even all of them to my identity. Using block explorers to search for my addresses, using custodial wallets, posting my addresses on giveaways or whatever. We’ve all made mistakes. As much as I try to hide, my privacy is probably already shredded and blockchain analysis has probably linked dozens of UTXOs to me if not more.

Explain again how censorship solves privacy?
90  Other / Archival / Re: WasabiWallet.io | Open-source, non-custodial Bitcoin Wallet for desktop on: June 22, 2023, 04:06:51 AM
If you think you can prove my claim about Bitcoin privacy being solved by the WabiSabi coinjoin protocol wrong, then try to link the outputs to any inputs of this transaction yourself: https://mempool.space/tx/d465033214fd2309dcce5a90c45fcaa788aa4394ee36debe07aad8d8a37907d2
LOL you’re seriously doing this? Should I give you my IBAN as a proof banks solve fiat privacy?

RO49CITI1537389202 come on, I challenge you to find anything about my recent transactions. This is proof banks solve privacy to you, right?

It’s not about me linking outputs to inputs. I’m a criminal. Your blockchain analysis partner tells you to deny participation of my UTXOs in the next CoinJoin. By default, you’re only allowing those you trust. This shrinks the list of possible identities behind UTXOs to as many as you like.

Explain how in your world list-shrinking censorship solves privacy.

Use case for your new partnership and censorship: when they want to find out what I’m doing with my money, insert decoy UTXOs, deny everyone else’s UTXOs for just 1 round of CoinJoin and allow only me in for that round, together with your decoys. Now I get an “unlinkable” CoinJoin you and your partner knows everything about. Censorship solves privacy, everyone!
91  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: The paranoid user's security guide for using Electrum safely. on: June 21, 2023, 06:42:38 PM
Wait a sec, I think I need an explanation geared toward a 5-year old child.  I know what the autoplay thing is on Windows, because on my previous PC that had a DVD drive I kept it on so I wouldn't have to be hassled with having to choose to play a DVD each time I put one in.  Is enabling it dangerous in and of itself, or is it just a vector for malware as NotATether described?
Warning before you read my message: there’s a good chance I didn’t understand what you meant lol

I think it’s pretty much just about it being a vector for malware. Since it’s autorunning by itself, I think it’s pretty unsafe when inserting USB drives and CDs or DVDs in case the inserted device is infected. I guess autorun/autoplay isn’t dangerous on its own, but combined with an infected drive you’re basically gonna accept possible malware with open arms lol Grin
92  Other / Archival / Re: WasabiWallet.io | Open-source, non-custodial Bitcoin Wallet for desktop on: June 21, 2023, 01:43:13 PM
The software is already done: Bitcoin privacy has been solved by WabiSabi coinjoins
You’re giving me strong Orwellian vibes.

Bitcoin’s privacy has been solved as much as the EU will find a solution to prviacy using CBDCs. There’s gonna be no privacy.

I used to be an avid user of your software. Please explain, how is Wasabi a solution to privacy if they’re cooperating with analysis tools? WTF it’s like telling me you’re giving me privacy in the changing room but someone has to watch me through a piece of glass to make sure I’m not stealing. Orwell, is that you?
93  Other / Meta / Easiest way I can remove Wasabi recommendations from all of my past posts? on: June 21, 2023, 01:30:08 PM
As an initiative to stop this analysis and doxxing BS, I’m looking for the easiest way I can edit all my posts containing suggestions for readers to start using Wasabi or containing links to their docs. Is there a faster route than going through each and every single page of my posts and using CTRL + F to find those containing Wasabi’s name? I have quite a lot of such posts IIRC from when I used to support them heavily and I want them edited ASAP before anyone finds them and starts using their nonsense software.

Loyce, save me

95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and cash are more important than ever. on: June 21, 2023, 11:42:24 AM
But do people realize they’re getting more important? I think they aren’t! They’re still blindly using card and joining all these money saving programs known as loyalty cards givig away all information to corps and governments. Unless they unblind themselves, I think this invasion of privacy will only continue and progress.

In my country, I know of a few people whining about their banks starting to introduce mandatory selection of reasons for depositing cash on your own account at several ATMs. That’s true, you insert your own banknotes in the ATM to deposit into your own account and before you’re allowed to do so, you’re asked for the source of funds or reason of deposit. How does that sound?

The dystopia I’ve been trying to avoid and hope will never come is probably so much closer than it looks and sounds!
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will World Economic Depression Affect Bitcoin? on: June 21, 2023, 07:47:44 AM
Their excessive delusion and the spread of such thoughts may also be part of the reason governments hate bitcoin so much. I really don't understand why people are always spreading these things against the government when we all know that there is no way to go against the government. We are always losers whether we are right or wrong, the government is the judge of this world
Just because you kneel in front of the government doesn’t mean all the rest of us should as well. If you believe governments care so much about you, why is gambling still allowed? I think it’s so much more damaging than Bitcoin. Why instead of practising safety they’re trying to destroy the crypto industry as we speak?

Although a stupid example, it’s the only one that comes up in my mind: Area 51. Remember the day there was a Facebook group for overturning Area 51 and so many people checked in the US Army had to warn they’ll have to use force to protect the area? It’s kinda like that with Bitcoin too. The government isn’t scared about my delusion. It’s scared about what they weren’t expecting Bitcoin could do.

How do you believe there’s no way to go against the government though? History shows you there’s always a way, but you seem to be living in enough fear to think they’ll always win. They aren’t invincible, you’re very very likely more innocent than they are (don’t pretend politics don’t involve corruption, stealing and all types of illegal things) and it’s not the first time a system or government is overturned.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will World Economic Depression Affect Bitcoin? on: June 21, 2023, 02:00:45 AM
It won't be an alternative of any system.
It’s an alternative to fiat even today. Otherwise it wouldn’t be accepted as a currency in stores, have fiat pairs and allow you to spend and receive. It has approximately all the features a currency has.

It is another option for us to choose and diversify our choices.
So you agree it’s an alternative? Tongue

I disagree with people who are Bitcoin maximalists and say Bitcoin is created to replace fiat currency, to become a new standard, to kill altcoins, to be the only currency on Earth. It is unrealistic belief.
I didn’t say it’ll replace, I said it’ll continue to be an alternative just like today. And trust me, during a depression we’d all probably rather own a decentralized currency than a currency going through hyperinflation, be discarded, replaced, seized etc by authorities and governments. Your banknotes could become invalid from one day to another because they’d have to move to another currency to keep up with the devaluation. A lot of shit would happen.

I agree though, decentralized isn’t gonna be the new standard, Bitcoin won’t be the world currency, it won’t kill all alts and it won’t replace fiat. But it’s always gonna be an alternative or as you say, another option for us. And maybe it’s better this way.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will World Economic Depression Affect Bitcoin? on: June 21, 2023, 01:31:38 AM
I think Bitcoin will continue to be an alternative system to fiat (which will probably be failing badly during a depression) but it won’t be the savior for us. During very bad times what matters most to the average Joe is survival. It’s eating and ensuring the day of tomorrow. That means Bitcoin won’t matter as much as the food of tomorrow.

Unfortunately, no matter how we flip and spin it around, the rich will continue to have a veery big advantage during these times and they’ll accumulate wealth so when depression’s over they’re richer. It’s been like this for centuries and I really doubt it’d be different today.

Of course Bitcoin will be affected! An economical depression will make anything that isn’t 100% safe disappear from the people’s mouths for a while, including Bitcoin. Say whatever you want, it’s still digital and during hard times you won’t be thinking about electricity and mobile data plan bills. You’re gonna want to just survive and that’s it. So yea, the rich would just buy more, the poor will sell to get food tomorrow and that’s how wealth inequality grows more than ever before.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AMAZON CREATING AMZ TOKEN - This is BIG for all CRYPTO - Massive changes coming! on: June 20, 2023, 05:09:22 PM
This is a scam. And OP is most likely involved in it.
Gotta be very careful about clicking the links too. I see their article includes a link to the fake sale of the AMZ token - it’s very likely a scam or it’s trying to register your IP for whatever reasons.
100  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How being open to ideas and comments help you learn? on: June 20, 2023, 01:51:43 PM
I think some people simply are like that and can’t be changed unless they want a change. I’ve met enough stubborn people who even if proven wrong continued to be stubborn and arrogant. That’s just the way they work I’d say.

You can try your best and hardest but if they don’t want to think different, they won’t. So being open minded is a choice or part of their personality imo. Maybe part of it comes from education, but we all have a brain and if you’re told ten times that a thing won’t work and it doesn’t and you continue doing it, it’s not even worth trying anymore.
