1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which device do you prefer for gambling ? on: May 07, 2024, 11:28:17 PM
yes, I have exactly the same approach. Also, if we are talking about sports betting, then I use a PC more often since it is more a matter of habit. This way you can more carefully study all the events that are included in the forecast. And for games, a phone is ideal, today they absolutely 100% optimized for this
Works the same thing for me.

I usually use my desktop PC for everything that I do related to gambling. Sometimes, I'd use smaller devices when I am away from home and that's very handy.

But that only happens if I am on the go and when I am staying at home, no doubt that I'm using my PC for it because I find it to be more comfy than using the other devices that I have.
Then i like the idea that we all make use of more than one device in gambling, just as to make it easy and satisfying for us regardless of where we are, we can easily make use of any available device to gamble, which also means that we will have full access to gambling at our own will anything we wanted to, most times, we can make use of a specific device in gambling depending on the game we are playing and how we most preferred the view on the device we uses, this makes many of us have this decision on having alternative log in device for gambling.
Yes, you should try that.

And whichever is making you comfortable in doing that, you should check it out. That's the purpose of having multiple devices that's specific to the use wherever you are.

Desktop at home, laptop everywhere and tablets and smartphones on the go.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you care about what people say about you gambling? on: May 07, 2024, 10:20:04 PM
which makes other people care about gamblers because they see the big effects that result beyond limits, such as selling goods, losing responsibility, reducing common sense. This causes family and friends to take the initiative to provide advice on reducing gambling activities when gamblers are given the motivation that they are actually aware of the situation. but on the other hand, gamblers have high hopes of getting the win,
And when you're at that state, it only means that you don't care what others are saying about you. You sell stuff, goods and everything you own because you have no money left to gamble.

That's the highest level of gambling addiction or close to it when you're doing that already. When you hear people say such things about you, it's going to be annoying because all you're doing is to do unnecessary things that will put you into a more bad situation.

To me, I don't care what they say but I am aware of my status when I gamble.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 06, 2024, 10:30:03 PM
Game 1 of the Knicks vs. Pacers will be starting soon but I still cannot decide how to bet on this one. Knicks are surprisingly the huge favorite but perhaps that's because of their home court advantage.
You can skip the game 1 and see what will happen and then when it comes to game 2, that's you decide if you're going to bet or not.

I think the Pacers play better as a whole but Jalen Brunson is a real threat against any team right now. He'll probably drop another 30 points later.
It is hard to predict because the performance that they've done earlier could be different this time against the NYK.

Brunson is no doubt underrated but he's certainly the ace of the team.

6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Developing Winning Crypto Betting Strategies on: May 05, 2024, 11:30:54 PM
Get to know how blockchain’s work, why cryptocurrencies are here to stay, and how you can employ cryptos in your sports betting and/or casino gaming. The key is to learn crypto basics.
Honestly, I don't see any relation in understanding how blockchain works when you're mostly going to do is to bet.

I think what is being pointed out in here is the transitioning of most people from using USD to using cryptocurrency for betting. Because for most part, people are not trying to this because they've thought that there's too many transactions and conversion should happen first before playing. Unlike for USD that you just need to deposit. That for beginners that have zero knowledge with crypto, it's too much resistance for them because there's a lot to  explore and study.

Because really, if you want to be part of betting in crypto. You need first to truly understand at least how crypto currency works.
That could be it.

And there is the advantage for someone like you and me that are already here because we already knew how to do things in crypto. But for a complete novice, they have no idea on how to do it.

I might be wrong about telling I don't see relation of it but instead of saying how blockchain works, it's easier to understand if it's about "how crypto works".

Get to know how blockchain’s work, why cryptocurrencies are here to stay, and how you can employ cryptos in your sports betting and/or casino gaming. The key is to learn crypto basics. For example, although Bitcoin and Ethereum remain the two most popular and highest market cap cryptocurrencies, other cryptos, like Litecoin, bitcoin cash, and ripple (XRP), have become ultra popular.
Honestly, I don't see any relation in understanding how blockchain works when you're mostly going to do is to bet.

Your winning strategies won't have any value whether you know how blockchain works or not. But I get the sense of it through depositing altcoins, making some wallets, and how to do transfers.

But if your main topic is all about developing winning strategies, I just can't connect how it is going to give you the upper hand with your bets and increase your chance of winning.

8  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next movement of Bitcoin. Let's share everything you can about Bitcoin. on: May 02, 2024, 10:24:48 PM
Hello everyone,
I am a crypto investor and have invested much in meme coins and other altcoins. Now I am in minus; you know it is pressuring my head. Because I am a beginner investor, I need to know the next movements of Bitcoin. It will help me and other noobies who have invested in crypto.

Thanks in advance
You are new but you have been introduced to the wrong strategy by whomever did that to you. What you have to do is if it's possible for you to cut loss, do it as soon as possible. If you're down by 5% up to 10% or even 15%, that's still a good time to cut loss.

But if you can't do that then all you have to do is to accept the losses and wait until those meme coins that you have to recover. The bad thing there is if your meme coins are literally meme coins and have been made by a bunch of fifth graders that are trying to get some money from investors and newbies like you.

Although it's not too late as this will serve as your lesson on what you must do, invest to BTC first if you're a beginner and you'll learn the rest afterward when you have understood how this volatile nature of BTC gets to our minds and hearts
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can You Submit KYC Before You Win Big on: May 01, 2024, 10:40:34 PM
I haven't gone ahead with this process but it's possible when you'll ask the casino to just KYC you before you win big as what you anticipates.

I will only do this if I am firm that I'll stay to the casino that I'll be playing with for the long term. I can still play with the others but it's going to be my priority place to gamble.

Next is, I'd only ask this to the casinos that are reputable and have been in the business for so long. And that's why for the new ones, I won't ask to do it.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will you do if you find yourself in a similar situation like this? on: April 29, 2024, 11:35:46 PM
Assuming you find yourself in a similar situation as this, what will you do? How will you handle the situation to make your parents trust you again?
I've been into that situation when I was still studying and spent my parents money just for doing nonsense stuff until I realized that we're not rich, and that hard earned money by my parents were put into waste.

They never know about that even up to this point. But I have to do what I gotta do and I have to stand and be responsible for my irresponsible actions and that's why I am working hard, giving back to them.

And never done that anymore, I value now every single cent they earn and of course mine too.
11  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will communism ever be realized? on: April 29, 2024, 10:15:10 PM
A society without classes, private ownership, and where resources are shared by all.
And everything is owned by its government and its leaders? Realizing how people living like in a cube that they don't allow to get out of it or they're being instructed what to do.

Yes, in terms of life being and commodities are provided but you have to realize that you're working hard for those. There goes the taxes and other services that we do for the government and that's more than enough for them to give back to us through basic necessities.

But in a society that you don't have a say and you'll get punished if talk and do something against them or worst your everything will be taken by them, do you like that?

If your decisions are going to rely your brother then he should choose who's going to marry you.  Grin

Kidding aside, when you have an idea of what you invests and you did your research and there's the potential gain, go for the risk. It is true that we gain nothing if we invest nothing. This is the logic in investing but you can start with small amounts.

Do the DCA strategy and let your brother see your gains eventually, he's going to be the one to ask you if it's still okay to invest but I doubt it that you'd say that it's fine to invest when we're hitting all time highs again.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is the game 'Fortune Tiger' or the little tiger game famous in your region? on: April 26, 2024, 11:41:36 PM
Stop paying attention to the influencers and streamers because they're telling the new trend and that trend that's being made by them is paid by those sponsors and whoever invented that fortune tiger.

I have never played that game and I thought that in Brazil, gambling is common where it's one of the biggest fans of some sports that's known globally.

If you have noticed that many have been endorsing a game, it's a well collaborated marketing strategy by the game providers or the casinos where it can be found.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can a seed phrase on steel or titanium sheet survive this flood? on: April 26, 2024, 10:11:13 PM
It takes time for the steel or that titanium sheet to get corroded by the flood. But with that vast water on that area, if you're not able to get it before vacating the area then you're like finding a grain of rice in the sands because you have no idea where to start looking for it when it's no longer there to the place where you've mostly stored it.

That's a sad situation for Dubai as they probably don't have the sewers to get those waters flowing under the establishments. And if that's worse that goes to the houses and goes through the ceiling, that steel of phrase is going to be released potentially and going to flow into the waters.

Survivability of metal things won't be a problem for these kinds of problems but the real problem starts with the owner on how he's going to find it in those waters.
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Risk management is very essential during this post-halving season on: April 25, 2024, 10:41:25 PM
There is no problem if you're risking too much as long as you're aware of that and you can afford to risk that money of yours. There's so much to think of during this season when the halving's done already.

People tend to think of the market quickly if it's going to rise as soon as the halving has commenced. It's not how it goes and always take risk that you can afford.

Because if you're taking risk and you're not able to control yourself with it and it's not Bitcoin that you're focusing with since it's the center of the event and altcoins might just go next, you might miss the opportunity for being to worried with everything.
17  Economy / Gambling / Re: I want to be a video game streamer on the kik.com gambling stream crypto site. on: April 24, 2024, 11:36:23 PM
There are requirements for most streaming websites before you get monetized. I'd advise you to do it as a passion and not motivated with the reward that you'll be getting there because it will follow eventually when you've built the foundation and community and followers in organic way that you need as a streamer.

The game of your choice isn't going to get you that much gambling sponsors because most of your viewers that are playing that game are kids and don't even have money to buy subscriptions and asks their parents money for their in game items.

If you want to stream casinos then be specific on your niche and just stream your gambling activities but as you've said, the game is roblox. Is there even a gamble there?
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto's last message on: April 24, 2024, 10:20:58 PM
The anonymity of satoshi adds to the mystery and uniqueness of Bitcoin. It adds an extra layer of decentralization that there isn't a location one can narrow the creator to be at. If there was the government could try and mount some pressure on him, invite him for questioning in relation to some bogus allegations just the rattle the network a bit. I would have loved to see him still post here from an anonymous account but we're all satoshi now.
I agree.

He has portrayed what anonymity really is and the mystery of his disappearance could be thought with a lot of things. Maybe for personal matters, he wants to protect himself from being chased by whichever agency that chases people that brilliantly invent good things for the people.

Welp, this is going to be one of the greatest mysteries that will never be solved for the time being. But wherever she/he/they is/are right now, I'm hoping that he has found peace and happy with the success of the project that they've started.

While the government and banks promote centralization, here goes one project maker that have made the top 9 assets in the world currently and disappeared leaving the project in the entire hands of the people.
19  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: April 23, 2024, 11:32:10 PM
The other mindset here is those that are thinking in terms of accumulating bitcoin and not been bothered about the price of bitcoin, if you are still so early in bitcoin you should be less bothered about the price or news surrounding bitcoin and focus more on buying bitcoin
I'd say that I am one of those fortunate folks that have been holding til' then and got them before. I'm not bothered but it's always interesting to look at that point of view of each and everyone of us here about the pricing of Bitcoin.

And with what I have observed, every time there's a dip and flash crash. You'd see people asking if the price will remain at that low dipped price but they don't analyze that it's a normal scenario whether we're in bulls or bears.

cause at the end of the day its only those that have enough bitcoin that can really make profits from selling bitcoin.
Agree.

Those that hold for different situations and don't panic during flash crashes, those that have diamond hands as they say will always make the profit and advantage of holding Bitcoin.
