201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Single or accumulation, which one do you prefer when it comes to sport betting on: January 13, 2024, 09:37:22 AM
Even without the poll, it's fine and it seems that many are preferring the single bets than accumulated because it doesn't did you that much risk when you do it.

Why having a poll won't make sense? Because whenever I see threads that has poll and there's a voting, there's not that much people that participate on it.

And it's just like you can count on fingers that are participating and voting with such polls but maybe on this topic, I could be wrong and many will vote.

Yeah, I think it's better to go for single bets as we go on accumulation, risk goes to the top as well. And it's really very frustrated to see that let's say a parlay bet on your side with a odds of 100x and you are about to hit or just waiting for a game to win. And you think that your chances are high as the last leg of your multiple bet is a favorite.

Unfortunately, bad luck strike you, the so called favorite turns out to lose that game and as a result ruining your multi leg bet.

And so it's better to just bet single, when it win then bet again and try to roll it and see how you can go that far or if you win then stop at least you have make good profits from a single bet rolling it over.
That happened for so many sportsbettor that they only need one win with that parlay and that's the twist goes along with them and it sucks when you go through with that.

That's why with single bets, you don't have to think of any other bets but just that bet only that you've casted. There are no catches and if you win, you win and if you lose, you're just going to accept it lightly.

If you have a lot of money and you want to experiment the accumulated bets, it is your choice as long as you're aware of how it's being played on.
202  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading with bots on: January 13, 2024, 07:45:30 AM
Check out bots like gunbot and see how the bot works. We can actually say that many traders, bulk orders have been controlled by bots when you look at the orders as there seem to be in and out with the same numbers going in.

While these bots aren't for free, you can always use the typical feature of exchanges of simply setting the sell/buy orders on your own. Disclaimer: I don't use any of them.

Thanks so much for the observation. I think creating a poll alongside with this post can easily make us people's view. I will definitely make a poll with it now and will love it if all that has responded to this post will try to vote in their opinion on this.

204  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for January on: January 12, 2024, 06:15:07 PM
We see some drop today and that can be related to the purchase of BlackRock of around 2.2k+ Bitcoins.

If the support is likely to stay to $40k for the entire month, I'm already okay on where it is heading. As long as that price remains as the support, I wouldn't ask for more.

But definitely, any amount is still possible as it can go lower than what we're thinking. I don't mind how high it can go for this mind but holding on to its support.
205  Economy / Gambling / Re: MEGA:PARI |SPORTS & CASINO| SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN on: January 11, 2024, 11:44:53 PM

Hi! In countries where we operate, using a VPN is not against the rules.
There are some countries that have a neutral stand on gambling, that means, it is either not regulated or they have not considered it a thing to look into, some of these countries however, you might need VPN to use the MEGA:PARI platform.
Does this put one's account at risk or is it normal and without consequences from the platform?
If they have a neutral stand, there's no problem I guess as long as MegaPari has said that they're operational there.

What they won't agree to it is if you're from a restricted country and you try to gamble with them using a VPN. That's an offense and might just result to frustration.

So if you find your country on their restricted countries, don't even bother to try even with a VPN.
206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DCA (Dollar Cost Averaging) method is a simple way to invest in Bitcoin on: January 11, 2024, 10:38:34 PM
Most of the members that don't know DCA from this forum are the newbies, the rest have already an idea about it but not sure if they're doing it.

Because it's whenever we're comfortable to buy, we buy. But if you look forward with a goal of having this xx amount of Bitcoin then you'd definitely going to DCA.

Weekly or monthly for me is the best, that is for me and I don't know if there's an hour guy that does it based on your example but it's just about the point and idea.
207  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Unknown fact our profitable colleagues won't tell us on: January 11, 2024, 09:09:49 PM
You just used other term and made that ratio look as if it's not that much. 1:3 risk ratio is like winning 300% with your trades and don't you think it is easy?

It ain't easy if that's the minimum that you're going to do. There are even traders that are good and out already after making 10% of their capital and that's enough for them.

This is the reason why many traders get rekt, 60% of losses and you will still in profit if you recover with that much losses? Not sure if I am confused.
208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you be worried or comfortable seeing your elderly mother gambling? on: January 10, 2024, 10:42:08 PM
If that's my mom, it's a different story. I wouldn't be happy to see her gamble because she's going to lose her money entirely because I know her personally and how is she doing.

And the others might feel the same for their moms, it's not a problem if this happens once in a while but I am still worried at all if that's once will have that much a lot of money involved per stake she does.

Like losing a $1k per time she gambles, that's worrying when I know how the status of her life is.
I'm the same way, sir, I won't let my mother gamble because I also know my mother, even though my mother is dedicated to gambling, for example. but I myself know how age can affect emotions and the freedom of thinking, maybe even narrower because of stubbornness.
Moreover, my mother only has a job with a small income, so it would be very unethical for her to enter or be in the world of gambling which could potentially lose her pension money.
We know what's best for them as they know what's best for us.  Smiley

Aside from that, I've seen how people deal with this situation when their moms have been addicted to gambling. I just can't take the effect and impact of it to the actual moms that have became addicted.

They have sold everything, forgotten that they've got families and their minds are focused on gambling whether win or lose.
209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would it be like owning a Bitcoin in 2024? on: January 10, 2024, 08:33:07 PM
The risk will never be gone when you're trying to invest on anything, that's all you need to remember and like the first rule and tip of investing.

I'd definitely advise to buy Bitcoin if you see this market to be a long term home for you. But once done telling to buy and advising, it's all on how you're going to respond or going to do exactly as what advised to you.

I don't force people to buy Bitcoin but just tell them how the run was for me. Obviously, it was a good experience and that's why I am staying but new comers find it hard when they're inspired but also scared at the same time.

211  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the difference between crypto trading and traditional stock trading on: January 09, 2024, 10:25:33 PM
There are more similarities than differences. All of the techniques can also be done to each other, I just don't know with forex because if crypto volatile, forex is more of a fast pace of it.

What I have noticed with crypto and stocks is that, the phase and movement on stocks are so slow compared to crypto. And I guess that's why everyone loves to get involved in crypto for being volatile and having some such risks but a very rewarding market.
212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among you here is gambling at work? on: January 08, 2024, 01:26:54 PM
I think this mostly happen on office workers, those workers who uses their skills like mechanic or driver can't gamble while working as it's too risky. However, if you are an employee and you are assign in the office, you have access to the device and internet which you can use for gambling. And just like what has been shared in the posts above, if an employee losses his concentration, it will have a big negative impact to the company especially if the kind of work is very vital, which includes handling on finances, or decision making that will affect the finances of the company.
That's a terrible way to spend your office hours when you can't focus on it and then you can attain to gamble using the company's resources and computers and stuff.

It is for sure that someone who will get caught might be called by the HR and given an incident report. A company that has a gambler will definitely have a second thought about that action.

Much better not to break the policies of the company's or don't do your hobby during office hours.
213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we even need bitcoin mixers? on: January 08, 2024, 10:37:00 AM
Some of these non kyc exchanges might ask you out of the blue verifications especially when you're exchanging quite high amounts. They're still followers of their laws and regulations and that's why if you are to use them, don't do such with high amounts.

Tainted or not, it depends where you're going to send them or someone might just be paranoid because he/she is thinking that the tainted Bitcoins he's got needed to get cleaned.

Because services or likely another exchange where you will send them might have a reference to these 'dirty' Bitcoins. Otherwise, just IMO, it's not a matter of big concern.
214  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Step you have to take before venturing into the market on: January 07, 2024, 11:09:01 PM
(3) Do not see trading as a get rich quick scheme: mostly the set of people that falls into this particular trap is the newbie's, but after some series of losses, they will discover that it's not really what they thought it is.
Honestly, it's not just trading that the newbies see as the rich quick scheme but the entire crypto market as well.

So having to tap with trading crypto, that's two things for them and a combination of it will be thought by them as an actual way to become rich so quickly.

But they are all getting it wrong and they need to understand that people who have became successful with crypto or trading have been through a lot.
215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 07, 2024, 09:15:44 PM
That's the typical Casimero that everyone knows. He don't mind about the split as long as he gets the match that he likes and able to prove himself that stronger than the other. His angst and stance in beating Inoue is always voiced out by him.

It is really a typical John Riel Casimero he is always like that he surely was, he has that angst in him that many really like and some dislike, but there are many who say that he can defeat Naoya Inoue they can feel that John Riel Casimero is the only boxer that can beat him, for sure those talks that they have is to hype the fight and for this one Casimero is doing a great thing in hyping the fight for sure many likes this fight to happen,
Yeah, people think that he's such an arrogant guy but they don't know that it could just be his appearance on his stance and videos to make people more angry at him and for him to chase the clout. I also seen people say that he can beat Inoue.

But just as the other fighters that have fought Inoue, good luck to him and prove it on the ring.

And of course, he's the first one to beat Inoue but I don't think that it is going to be an easy task for him. Inoue had beaten the good other fellow boxers of Casimero like Donaire and the recent one, Tapales.

So, it's like he's carrying a huge burden on his shoulder that he shouldn't disappoint.

Let's just wait if Casimero is just another bark-and-no-bite fighter he is a unique fighter for sure I also like his fight IQ for sure John Riel Casimero had that, but in terms of speed and power also has that but I think Inoue is on the Advantage with the raw power and also has the punching speed to accumulate that output, but maybe against Marlon Tapales they will device a game plan for his technique and style,
We've seen bunch of fighters that were good at barking but I understand why they've done that, so that there will be more fans that shall watch their fight and more tickets sold.

On this level of Inoue, it's just hard to think on how he can be beaten honestly.
216  Economy / Economics / Re: The liquidity of Bitcoin to ECOWAS. on: January 07, 2024, 07:34:18 PM
When it comes to advertisement and publicity on the internet Nigeria is ahead of other African countries, so Bitcoin gaining popularity in Nigeria will also help in its liquidity in West Africa and Africa at large,
I just know in the coming years Bitcoin popularity will  be well noticed and appreciated, maybe making it a legal tender in an African country Will Also help in its liquidity, or let's say the Bitcoin is used in trading among ECOWAS country
IMHO, it doesn't have to be a legal tender for these countries. What they only need to do is to support their citizens and if there's a large liquidity that comes from African countries, they don't have to make it hard for these people to go with this market.

One simple rule like forgetting about the potential ban is already going to be a helpful thing for these citizens as Bitcoin gains popularity from that region.

Because with such news about banning it from that region or for some African countries, that's making it more difficult for the people to get engaged and have their own freedom for having another source of income through trading.
217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your predictions for the state of Bitcoin in 2024? on: January 06, 2024, 10:47:34 PM
Since 2022, the value of Bitcoin has begun to fall. Following that, 2023 was a much worse year
Are you sure that 2023 was worse than 2022?

in late 2003, a new version of Bitcoin was released.
How old are we by that time?  Huh

Because AFAIK, there's no Bitcoin yet by that time.

Furthermore, the market is gradually improving and stabilising. By 2024, we expect a slow recovery from our Bitcoin downturn. In the near future, it will also bring us good news. Things will get better with time. Do you think Bitcoin will be superior by 2024? Please share your thoughts.
My thought is that I think you have missed a lot of things for the past years but that's fine if you're still new. 2024 isn't actually the year of recovery but if you count that as is because we've fallen from $69k which was reached on 2021 and we're $44k by this time.

So, there's still a need to move and recover if that's what you think to be reached and be back there. But honestly, the market is good as of this time and it will become better after halving, etf rumors, etc.
218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 06, 2024, 09:41:32 PM
~snip~

And it's all promotion for Casimero to call Inoue, and I think we will not be tired of at least waiting for this fight to happen. Or at least at some point in the future, when Casimero is still at least in his peak, this fight should be made. For sure there will be enough money to generate here specially if the fight is going to be in the US.

Casimero though is not getting any younger, he is in his mid 30's if I'm not mistaken and maybe just one fight we might see him on a decline. But Inoue has other targets, Neri first before Casimero and others can get their chances against the Monster this year.
Without a doubt that there is a lot of money to be generated from this match. Coming from Casimero fans and as well as the fans of Inoue, there's so much viewers and fans all over the world for this two.

And knowing that Inoue is the monster and is now a pound for pound king. There will be a lot of opportunity for him and money shall flow together on his career.

The only one thing that everyone is waiting for if someone is going to knock and win against him. Or even not a KO as unanimous decision will do as well to prove if he's unbeatable.
219  Economy / Speculation / Re: Historical price of Bitcoin New Year Day (1st January). on: January 05, 2024, 11:47:03 PM
2021   - $29,031.50+
2022   - $46,773.93+
2023   - $46,206.30+
I have to check if it's like this for straight consecutive three years. For 2021 and 2022, you're right.

But with 2023, it's not $46k but it's just around $16k+ so that should be corrected.

By 1st January 2024 am predict the price to be $100,000 and above.

Happy New Year Cheers!
Let's wait for it next year on 2025 if that will be the next support.

Happy new year!
220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 05, 2024, 10:04:29 PM
In terms of split, I think Casimero would not mind if he will get a small percentage of the total. His goal now is to prove to the world that he could beat Inoue, he isn't a champion anymore so it's already an opportunity if Inoue will fight him.
That's the typical Casimero that everyone knows. He don't mind about the split as long as he gets the match that he likes and able to prove himself that stronger than the other. His angst and stance in beating Inoue is always voiced out by him.

The real jackpot price here is if he beats Inoue, that would certainly make the world recognize Casimero as the best in the Super Bantamweight, and all Inoue's hype will die, which I think there's a lot at stake for Inoue in this fight, and I would understand if he would not fight Casimero because the latter has a decent chance of beating him.
