141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: February 02, 2024, 07:31:31 PM
Rockets got bigger now with this fresh news that came out.

Grizzlies trade Steven Adams to Rockets for Victor Oladipo, three second-round picks, per report

Quote
The Memphis Grizzlies have agreed to trade Steven Adams to the Houston Rockets in exchange for Victor Oladipo and three second-round picks, according to Adrian Wojnarowski. The Grizzlies will receive two 2024 second-round picks and one in 2025.

Adams has not played in over a full calendar year due to long-term knee problems. He last suited up on Jan. 22, 2023, and missed the remainder of last season with a PCL sprain in his right knee. He was expected to be back this season, but underwent season-ending surgery on his knee in October after non-operative rehab failed to resolve instability. At that time, the Grizzlies announced that he was expected to make a full recovery for the 2024-25 season.

Although Adams is not yet playing due to injury, but when he comes back, he'll be a big help for the team that has been doing pretty well this season. They need a big guy and Adams is just the right answer. So great news so far about the trade news.
I agree that this a big addition to the Rockets whenever they're going to play with complete roster including Aquaman.

Anyone here that have read the trade rumors about Lebron James? I've just seen it and I wasn't familiar with the name of the person that has released that statement and as if he's like Woj.

I can't find it anymore but only this breakage of that rumor by Rich Paul and said that Lebron won't be traded.
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Binary Trade Better or Better to Buy and Hold Bitcoin? on: February 02, 2024, 05:53:42 PM
Do what you are better with.

If you're good with binary trading then why keep on doing that while adding some of your profits on Bitcoin holdings? You're on a Bitcoin forum and the majority of the people here will tell you to buy and hold.

I am not different with those people because holding has been effective to me. I may not be as good as the experts but none is good in holding but each of us who have been holding for so long in corrections and skyrockets.
143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: February 01, 2024, 11:47:44 PM
I think they can give him a chance. Of course, they can think about the benefit that his family is going to get. He should be helped out in my opinion. Of course, there is going to be some team which can get him to just warm the bench a bit. If giving him a simple chance can actually get his family a big benefit like that, I don't think anyone should have any problem with that.

Let's see if any team actually helps him out before the deadline.
So I was trying to look for some updates on this thing about Snell but I see no update. We're already on Friday and if there are no teams that will sign him, that's sad for the boys of Tony.

Actually Mark Cuban sold the Mavericks and only holds a minority share now.  Wink
Also Snell never played for the Mavs so there is no real connection other that Cuban is into healthcare.
Yeah it would still be ok if someone would come up and give this man what he desires. Especially one of his former teams could do so.

But I mean, he had career earnings of 52 million $ minus tax. I don't know what he need more money for actually. Other families with members with autism can also make it work, and they don't have those millions.

Kind of a strange to ask for this while being rich.
Usually, many of these NBA professionals that have been at the peak of their careers or whenever they've got the best contracts don't know what to do with the money. And they think that career there are going to stay for so long and that's why it's either spent unwisely and lost most of it just as his situation now.

It's not a new case when an athlete like him that played on the NBA before became poor. But I get the point that if the others can make, he should but he's up for the benefit from the league that will be there for the rest of his life.
144  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: As a trader never settle for less on: February 01, 2024, 05:41:01 PM
As a bitcoin  trader and holder one should never settle for less

In life I have watched many rich people who want to make more and more money why is this so??
Because it becomes a habit. Once a person gets to the top, it is addicting that you don't want to be down or out of money anymore and that's why you work even harder.

I have noticed that the rich always want more for there him self even though he has more him still want more to himself, so I will advise us as a bitcoin holder or trader don’t think because you are in your comfort zone makes you feel better that a fat lie I have realized that Comfort zone only makes us feel weaker and lazier

Most rich trader today keep this phase “ The pursuit of excellent is the bests “ so as I young trader don’t always see yourself as someone who is weak and lazy always sand strong in getting what you want at a best level.
Trader, holder or investor they're all the same.

The motivation is there and all we have to do is to be wise with our decisions if ever we get successful from all of these paths or whatever you're good at.

The rich became rich because not on how they've made a lot of money but because on how they've managed those money and how they've reacted on taking care of it well and reinvesting it to the right investments.
145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: January 31, 2024, 11:02:24 PM
In today’s weird news. Tony Snell has come out publicly as being autistic (if he already did I was unaware) in an attempt to get signed to one more NBA contract. If he gets signed one more time he’ll hit the NBA’s 10 year mark to get healthcare for his family for the rest of his life. His kids are also autistic, so Tony is asking for a 10 day contract and going public with his health issues (and his family’s) in order to try and get a contract. This is a story to watch as time is running out.
I've read this news and the deadline is on Friday. If no team signs him up until Friday then he won't be qualified for the league's benefit that will definitely gonna help him and his family.

Any team that sees his situation could give him a hand and even he'll heat up the seat on the bench, that's no problem as long as he'll get that benefits that will help him and his family for the rest of their lives.

Mark Cuban might help but is there any spot on the roster?
146  Economy / Exchanges / Re: All my savings on BKEX are gone. on: January 31, 2024, 09:39:29 PM
Hello everyone, since May 29th, 2023 I have not been able to access my account in BKEX Exchange because the exchange has blocked all trading for all customers. To date there is no information or update about what is happening with our money and whether we will get it back one day or not. I think we would be cheated.
Everyone encourages people here not to store their funds on exchanges since the ancient times. And sadly, you have kept your funds there for what reason? But if that's what happened, we're sorry that your funds might be gone forever if they don't have a good support to reply on you.

My wife is it possible and can these people be trusted? Has anyone ever heard of this company TECHGUARDFORT SERVICES (Twitter: @Techguardfort3)?
Don't make yourself add another problem in your heads. Only that exchange will answer and help you if you have gone access with trading. Not any third party that's likely to scam you again.

If you don't learn the lesson from your mistake then you're likely to have another mistake again.
147  Economy / Economics / Re: Leadership and Economics on: January 30, 2024, 11:47:32 PM
I agree about having a good leadership in a country really defines and helps the economics and stability of the country. And that is because with policies that they enforce and as well as the partnership that they're getting, it boosts the economic status of the country.

So, it affects the citizens with the opportunities that are coming and living comfortably but as an individual, I wouldn't let the government define my life and success and won't be dependent to them.

What I am trying to say, they're helping a lot of people's lives to become comfortable but at the same time our success depends on us.
148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: January 30, 2024, 10:11:24 PM
Giannis is a great player and it was a little surprising for me to see him making a mistake like that. I think professional players are not supposed to make those kinds of mistakes. But it's fine as long as he can fix it quickly and his team does not suffer a lot because of it. But I agree that it was definitely a little funny.
They are professionals but something like this will happen regardless of how known and great they are. Mistakes do comes at unknown times and that's how it came for Giannis.

And what's important for that game is that whether there's the call for the long stay in the free throw, Nuggets still won at the end of that game.

It's just like a curse and no players at their right mind want to go there.
Steph wants to be there if he's near his retirement to just be with his father and leave it there as a legacy for the same team. IMO, Hornets should start negotiating and have some friendly talks with Steph to remind him that they're always there for the Curry's.
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Relationship Between Cryptocurrency and Traditional Banking on: January 30, 2024, 08:32:12 PM
I guess it's the former that both of them will end with a happy ending. The adoption is rising and before, the talk was always about the taking over of Bitcoin, crypto over the banks.

But we get to see the whole situation now and it's about the matter of adoption and banks having their own thoughts about having services related to cryptocurrencies.

Before, they're like the mortal enemies but we're going to see the bandwagon or we actually seeing it since countries are having their CBDCs which is inspired by crypto.
150  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do You Believe, "Passive Investors Make More Than Active Investors?" on: January 29, 2024, 11:32:45 PM
Are there any active traders among the people reading this topic?
There are.

It is very interesting whether it is possible to really make money on this, or if there is a negative experience.
Most of the experience you'll hear will always be tandemed with negative experience like the stories of failures and losses.

They write a lot of things here, but no one shares their trading experience.
You can navigate to this section and you will see a lot of trading discussions and from there, you'll see almost everyone sharing their trading expeirence. So, all you have to do is to look to the other threads.
151  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎰 What's Your Top Pick for Crypto Casinos in 2024? Share & Discover Hidden Gems on: January 29, 2024, 09:40:04 PM
@OP, I just want to remind you about posting in multiple times in a row and that's not allowed by the forum and could lead you to ban.

32. Posting multiple posts in a row (excluding bumps and reserved posts by the thread starter) is not allowed.

But typically with that, the mods are merging those posts in one post so, I'm just here to give some reminder but I've seen you posted five times in a row.

And as for the topic, I've used most of those suggested ones and currently checking out megapari. Just like the other mentioned casinos, each of them has their own features to boast of.
152  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why having access to many top crypto trader signals / info / TA is good! on: January 29, 2024, 07:41:13 PM
I still don't understand if there are effective ways for you to trade and you've got signals that make you money. Why not get along with it for the longest time until they don't work anymore?

With that, you're going to enjoy the labor of your signals as you're saying they're premium and effective and yet you come to sell that to every stranger on the internet.

i can't remember whoever said this in the forum but i'm sure someone in here said it before. and it goes something like "every time a bull market starts, many users suddenly become a genius in trading".
That's true and we might see more of them soon.
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Do People Steal Hundreds of Millions in BTC And Still Get Caught? on: January 28, 2024, 11:57:42 PM
Sadly, many get away with it and that's why they're continuing in doing so. While the attention of those trackers are mostly to the big times, there are a lot of small scams that have been successfully done and forgotten.

And that's because there's no need for them to check it out and reports won't matter to them because the victims themselves will just let it go and will move on and reason out that it's a small amount and they can recover.

So typically, the big ones are being investigated and tracked and use everything in order for them to take it back with the help of these services, chain analysis, etc.
154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: January 28, 2024, 07:52:47 PM
Is this the new meta currently in the NBA where players are trying to break their own records and having an all time high with their career performances?

Anyway, it's actually a good start when we've seen these career high records up to 70+ points. And we might see some breaking records where they could reach 80+ points and so on.

It's like always a show time when there's a player trying to go along with these records.

With the present NBA style where ball movement is more emphasize, we can only see few players getting 70+ in their games, and although Luka, Embiid have reach 70+ in their past games, I doubt they'll be able to break that this season. It's not a norm now and sometimes when a players scores a lot, it will ruined the chemistry of the team especially if he is doing that every game. It will become an individual build up instead of a team.

I even doubt that the record of Kobe which is 81 points will be broken anytime soon. We know Kobe loves to shot, he loves to carry his team but things have really change a lot not, teams value teamwork more than individual work.
Me, I am thinking that there will be more records going to be broken soon. It's kind of achieving when a team is supportive to their franchise players reaching these milestones.

And the highest is with Wilt and that's a lot of record highs for him but the top was 100 points. I won't be surprised if someone normally passes the record of Kobe.

But let's see on how long it is going to take for someone to break that.
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC security on: January 28, 2024, 05:51:25 PM
The important thing that you can do is to keep your seed phrase from any person. If it's possible that you can keep away from any relative to spot it out, much better.

Do not keep it on any storage where someone may be able to hack or know it. That's why writing it on a plain paper or whatever is provided to write it off is a must.

It doesn't have to be complicated when you are about to keep your seed phrase as long as you're the only person who knows it.
156  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bullrun top on: January 27, 2024, 10:30:53 PM
Franky explained it well.

You just have to count it with another year because of the pattern that it has shown in the past. You don't have to be an expert in reading charts or markets by doing so.

If you think that the top will be the Q4 for this year, you might be disappointed but that's fine. We've got all our expectations every after the halving and we might see the start from there or we're already far from that point compared to this time we discuss.

158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a group or organization that specifically supports Bitcoin as currency? on: January 27, 2024, 09:09:48 AM
The gambling industry is one of the biggest ones which utilizes bitcoin as a currency and is constantly growing attracting more businesses and users. They do not technically promote the usage of bitcoin, but accept it for transactions on their websites.

There are then several local businesses that accept BTC as a payment option.

- Jay -
I agree with you Jay.

If there is one big contribution that has helped with the support and adoption of Bitcoin even years ago, there's no doubt that the gambling industry is the one.

With the acceptance of Bitcoin deposits, that have given the long span of Bitcoin adoption and made it as their main currency for their business. It sounds lowkey for them as a business.

But we can't deny that they've helped Bitcoin to thrive for that matter for the longest period of time.
159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling for fun vs gambling for the financial benefit. on: January 26, 2024, 11:12:32 PM
Do you really see gambling as more of fun than a means to a financial end?
The majority here will say that it's just for fun but those that have been living off through gambling and became experts on it then will say the opposite.

how much can you put into gambling before it removes the fun aspect of gambling out of it?
I have no idea. Just as the typical amounts that I'm good to lose because if I get serious on it, I don't know where I'll be picking up myself if ever the plan doesn't go well.

And with that, I don't want that to happen to myself so it's random amount and depending on the mood if I have to gamble. My mind changes from time to time so, really have no figure at all.
160  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Playing crypto for many years without holding Bitcoin. on: January 26, 2024, 09:30:56 PM
It only means that holding is better than trading.

But this depends on the person, if you're a very profitable trader then you'll never forget to invest in Bitcoin. Your profits will be somehow going to your holdings too.

So as you trade, make money from it and then you'll share a part of that profit into your holdings is the kind of investing-trading techniques that good traders have to remember.
