121  Economy / Economics / Re: Demand-Pull Inflation was responsible for Bitcoin ATH of last year. on: October 04, 2018, 09:38:59 PM
Actually, it is suspected that the huge price hike we saw last year was due to price manipulation. There's currently an ongoing investigation into several exchanges which are thought to have facilitated this. Right now however, the debate remains open but I doubt we'll ever find out for sure what caused it, all we know is that we want it to happen again, and soon!
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop comparing ETH with BTC!!!!!!!! on: October 03, 2018, 04:47:50 PM
Well Bitcoin and Ethereum are fundamentally different, but they also have strong cryptocurrency roles. You can definitely compare things when they are not exactly the same, otherwise why would you need to compare if they were exactly the same?

Ethereum has its strengths as a SC platform, Bitcoin simply has no SC functionality. People should stop thinking of how ETH's value can grow as a cryptocurrency and start looking into how it can be used as a platform to build the future!
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you doing with your bounty tokens? on: October 03, 2018, 04:46:17 PM
Love the newbies on here that explaining what they do with their bounty tokens.... How the hell do you have bounty tokens already you only joined a few days ago.

Obvious multi-accounts, ban-evaders or signature spammers.
124  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it safe to trade on bitmex??? on: October 03, 2018, 04:43:42 PM
Well I've seen a lot of market manipulation that has ended up closing out the shorts a few times now on Bitmex. I definitely wouldn't say it's worth holding margin trades open for a long time on there, otherwise you're going to be subjected to one of these wild price swings eventually leading your short/long to close automatically.

Stick with traditional exchanges unless you have big balls.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 3 best altcoins in 2018 on: October 03, 2018, 04:42:08 PM
ripple, etherium and possibly odyssey. I think that the odyssey has a very big potential to break into the top 10 crypto-currencies

Yea right... I bought into Odyssey a couple days ago then immediately afterwards the price tanks 40%.....

It has been going strong for 2 freakin' months, and then it tanks 40% when I buy in. WHY ME!?

That being said, it has strong potential, but I don't see it in the top 10 any time soon, if ever.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero or Zcash on: October 03, 2018, 04:39:58 PM
Monero is the only of these two that are truly fungible, Zcash also suffers from the possibility that the ceremony key holders are artificially inflating the supply in secret, nobody would know as we can't tell the total supply. Monero all the way because it's also accepted on far more websites too, which is what I usually use when buying with crypto.
127  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My luck is very bad for crypto trading 😞 on: October 03, 2018, 04:38:30 PM
If you find yourself consistently on the losing end of a trade, maybe you should reevaluate whether you should even be trading?

It's an acquired skill and definitely not something that noobs should get into, there are a lot of factors involved in how the price moves and very few people actually possess the knowledge required to make a truly accurate prediction. I know I don't, so I don't play that game anymore.
128  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can you share your trading experiences? on: October 03, 2018, 04:37:18 PM
My trading experience is extremely simple. First I buy in to a cryptocurrency at a certain price, the next day it drops 10-50%. Repeat this process a few times until you have almost no money left.

That is me.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC for bounty hunters Yes or No on: October 03, 2018, 04:36:31 PM
It's for multiple reasons. There are thousands of potential cheaters in bounty campaigns, if you didn't have some way of controlling them (e.g. KYC). Then you would end up giving out most of the allocation to cheaters. Also there are regulations to comply with, some people think that tokens are like equity in a company so you need to perform AML to ensure you're not funding terrorists!
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How could war affect crypto? on: October 03, 2018, 04:35:05 PM
Are you not aware that there are actually hundreds of wars and skirmishes going on right now? Just because you don't see them doesn't mean they don't happen. However I think that if war ever came to one of the elite level countries (major economies), then crytocurrency would boom in those countries due to the weakness the national currency would likely experience (unless they're winning the war of course).
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I join 50 bounties on: October 03, 2018, 04:33:58 PM
How about learning to type in English, your sentence structure hurts my brain.

If you manage to successfully perform in 50 bounties at once then I am impressed, but based on the fact you can barely type a sentence I don't imagine you will be getting many stakes. Then again, many bounty managers don't really care so you might end up getting rich.

5 minutes per day per bounty = 250 minutes per day or 4.5 hours is reasonable.
132  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Resources for learning TA on: September 27, 2018, 08:39:53 PM
I use the premium crypto vince channel on Telegram, he has a lot of useful posts on there such as understand fibonnaci retracements, elliot waves, cup and handle patterns etc.

However, if you are just starting off then you should stick with the crypto vince free channel, it has some good content on there, just need as deep as the premium content.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If your coin increased 40% - 200% in value over night. What would you do? on: September 27, 2018, 08:38:32 PM
Sell if trashcoin, hold if strongcoin.

Of course, as with all trade decisions you should set your limit orders, otherwise you will get rekt eventually.

I don't think I've ever seen a top 10 coin do 200% overnight, the fact that this is even possible would indicate to me that it is a trash coin needing dumping.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will ripple cross $5 this year ? on: September 27, 2018, 08:37:16 PM
Oh look, ripple jumps 20% in a bear market and people suddenly start thinking it might increase 600% within 3 months to more than 60% higher than it's all time high.

The answer is obviously no, don't be stupid. Increasing 600% would put its market cap close to Bitcoin, why the hell would that happen within 3 months?
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you use diversification? on: September 27, 2018, 08:36:07 PM
Any person that does not diversify their portfolio is cruising for a bruising, not only do you stand to risk a large part of your investment when the market inevitably crashes (as do all markets), but you might also potentially devastate your own future if your losses are severe enough. Spread your assets among different industries, some high risk, some low, some crypto, some traditional, and hence your risks as much as possible.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Does ICO and bounty die? on: September 27, 2018, 08:34:17 PM
The fact that you are participating in 300 projects indicates to me that you are just a bounty spammer. You can't possibly be producing useful advertising for 300 projects at once, who are you? Roger Ver? There are definitely not 300 good quality projects in a year, perhaps only around 10 projects operating right now are actually worth the time to advertise, however since you particpated in over 300 you must have worked for literally every bounty, regardless how trash the project was. Blame yourself.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 99% OF ALL AIRDROPS ARE SCAMS!!!!! on: September 27, 2018, 08:32:31 PM
Scams and misleading are two different things. Sure, most airdrops are no worth what they claim to be, but they also don't straight up scam you usually by sending you nothing at all (unless they are a straight up scam, which is rareish). I think that if you are an airdrop hunter, you should have very low expectations, as odds are your airdropped tokens will be close to worthless when they hit an exchange.
138  Economy / Economics / Re: Has Trump improved the economy? on: September 27, 2018, 08:31:16 PM
I'm actually surprised to say that Trump hasn't done too bad. I mean, a lot of people thought that electing Trump as president would lead to economic collapse, but it's quite the opposite. The economy is doing slightly better than it was before Trump was elected. I mean, he is a billionaire business mogel, so I'm sure he has some of an idea how to run a country, which is essentially like a gigantic corporation.
139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I went bankrupt when I joined in cryptocurrency on: September 27, 2018, 08:29:07 PM
Holders are the only people complaining right now, there is still ample opportunity to make a profit by day training. I mean look, XRP has increased by 20% 3 times within the space of two weeks, that's 60% profit alone if you bought and resold, is that not enough for you? Tell me another industry where you can make 60% profit in a week? Sure, if you bought in at $2 you'll be angry, but you shouldn't have held on for so long!
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Three things you should not do when Bitcoin prices drop! on: September 27, 2018, 08:27:35 PM
True indeed. Too many people trying to catch Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies at their lowest. They should actually be trying to buy in at as low as they can, rather than the lowest possible. Catching the bottom of a dip is extremely rare, so don't be afraid to buy even 3-5% higher than the base of the dip, so long as you are some distance from the ATH when you buy in, you will stand to make a profit in the long term.
