1062  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: announcement: the international "when-bitcoin-reaches 1000,- $ party" on: October 27, 2013, 01:26:16 AM
there will be a section added to the opening thread that explains everything discussed so far in the next couple of days.
the party will be either in frankfurt or berlin and it will make look the "hangover" movies stiff/boring/average...
No shit? If you guys need any help with Berlin i have some sweet connections here.
But i guess i should get in contact with Jörg with the proposals?
1063  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-10-26 forbes.com - fbi-says-its-seized-20-million-in-bitcoins-from-ross-ulb on: October 27, 2013, 01:20:44 AM
The Federal Reserve will probably be the first ones in line to snatch these up with a big batch of freshly printed dollars.
Provided they really manged to get their greedy fingers on them, i think thats something the foundation should get involved with, because it would be catastrophic to have the feds holding and dropping such a large amount on the market. Afterall its just freshly printed bucks, so they dont really care.
1064  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-10-25 PandoDaily: Bitcoin down 10% as FBI announces another SR seizure on: October 27, 2013, 01:16:10 AM
You are right, i confused the 80kk in $ with 80k of BTC.
So with the confirmed 144k recently, Ross was only holding 30k?
1065  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitmit - Bitcoin shopping mall - Bitcoin market place - Bitcoin auction house on: October 27, 2013, 01:11:18 AM
tosaki really appreciate the recent cosmetically changes, but fundamental issues have still not been addressed.
Like the unpaid orders and verification process, there have been several plausible solutions suggested to change that.
Are you guys at least considering some of them?
1066  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-10-25 PandoDaily: Bitcoin down 10% as FBI announces another SR seizure on: October 27, 2013, 01:02:29 AM
Additionally the government cant just drop the 224k on the market, provided they really have access to it.
It will be auctioned off as company assets.
1067  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Best non-taxable way to cash in your BTC? on: October 27, 2013, 12:59:38 AM
Once you begin making purchases that don't coincide with the income you're reporting, the IRS will eventually start asking questions. Your question should really be "What kind of income can I claim that isn't taxable?" and then try to make it seem you earned your bitcoins that way.
Exactly, there are many ways to legally "evade" taxes.
Just look at large cooperations, some of them mange to pay less than 1%.
1068  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Law Enforcement Attending Bitcoin Meetups Undercover? on: October 27, 2013, 12:52:58 AM
Yes, the NRA is a powerful lobby.
It still doesnt change the fact that what was true 300 years ago does apply today.
1069  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: List of court cases, complaints, regulatory actions, etc. on: October 27, 2013, 12:44:45 AM
freedomno you are forgetting that most of the old members are communists in the eyes of investors who jumped on board this year and for them its quite relevant.
Stephen keep up he excellent work, i always enjoy the well researched updates.
1070  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Law Enforcement Attending Bitcoin Meetups Undercover? on: October 27, 2013, 12:38:47 AM
I don't think it's something to worry about. Especially if your not doing anything illegal. They would haven't reason to target you.

The average person commits 3 felonies a day without actually victimizing anyone. Just a matter of time before one of the numerous laws/corrupt state makes exhaling CO2 without a gross pollution permit "illegal".

Exactlly and most of them are hundreds or even thousands of years old from the crazy book.
I know you wont like this, but the interpretation of the 3rd amendment is one of them.
1071  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many bitcoins you are holding *NO TROLLING on: October 27, 2013, 12:35:31 AM
Has there been a single person not trolling?
I mean this is like asking how much cash u have and to top it off if you can have access to it.
1072  Economy / Exchanges / Re: www.BITSTAMP.net Bitcoin exchange site for USD/BTC on: October 24, 2013, 03:57:39 PM
Do you know how much work that would be?

1073  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: THIS IS A MESSAGE FOR Simon Hausdorf to clear things @ bitcoin-24 on: October 24, 2013, 01:46:29 PM

1074  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: THIS IS A MESSAGE FOR Simon Hausdorf to clear things @ bitcoin-24 on: October 24, 2013, 01:28:38 PM
