261  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading bot vs. you -> who's better? on: February 08, 2021, 08:37:22 AM
Hi,
Still learning trading tips&trick and now I reached this chapter of trading with bots.

What's your experience? Did the bot perform better than you? What's your monthly profit (%) via bot compared to the one without it?

thanks

Personally, with my hand on experience, I don't recommend bots for trading. Because you are using some strategy to code bot he is only reading the technical part and working accordingly. But assume that a big crash of stocks or some kind of news comes out then we can see unexpected moves in the market. But Bot hasn't any idea about the situation and he is doing his work according to the code. So you can lose your whole account balance.
Most of bot need to be configured first to suit your taste and honestly it's mostly just about setting the sell order and buy order and if the price reach certain point the bot gonna deploy an action corresponding to the trigger. It's not like most of bot was programmed to create its own decision but to make a good bot you need to configure it very well too.
It's all depends on the person who uses bot itself so we can conclude that this topic about trading bot vs us is actually "us vs us"

and to all the people who says that hardwork is the key for getting out, you are dead wrong, it is like being in a quicksand, the more you struggle will only lead to you sinking deeper.

Exactly, the only "sure" key of climbing up financially for the poor is scholarship and then after that they could get all the opportunities opened up even like that they still one step behind because don't have any connections or such. That's also why most of the formerly poor people who fix their financial most of them become employee and don't really want to take the risk of becoming poor again by being risk-taker.
Though i don't deny that there's always some people who could escape from being poor but thats like 1 in 100000
263  Economy / Speculation / Re: HOW LONG WILL THIS BULL RUN LAST ? on: February 08, 2021, 05:39:02 AM
What if current price is the normal price of bitcoin for years to come? People keep saying that there gonna come some dips but truth is bitcoin more specifically really different than it was few years ago. A lot of institutional investor affects a lot and make the foundation stronger. If you're talking about dip it already happened when bitcoin goes down from $37K to $30K but bounce back again to the current price.
264  Economy / Economics / Re: Risk-takers always ahead financially on: February 07, 2021, 08:23:50 AM
Being risk taker is fine if you have something to back you up, if you're so poor being risk taker will further destroy your life. that's why some people said being poor is like running in circle you'll get nowhere because the risk of being risk-taker will give you more backlash than those who are financially better and if you fall you get all the wounds. Except if you somehow found some good opportunity of making it big.
265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Visa - Did you all miss this? on: February 07, 2021, 05:50:27 AM

but there are crypto-debit cards that are already powered by Visa like the Coinbase card or the crypto.com visa card. so actually, Visa is not new on this aspect. they have been serving crypto platforms already in the past years.
maybe this time, they are more aggressive in tying up with the banks which will reach a lot of ordinary bank users.
AFAIK those crypto debit cards before visa acknowledge crypto like today always requires user or the service provider to convert the cryptocurrency to fiat first.
But maybe with this kind of news Visa will eventually integrate cryptocurrency directly to their system? we don't know for sure but atleast it's a good news that visa seem to approve crypto. not to mention they've been in partner with USDC if i'm not mistaken.
266  Economy / Exchanges / Re: storing BTC at exchange wallet long term on: February 07, 2021, 04:44:04 AM
Then you should just don't consider their recommendation.
But honestly, you should just find what suits you well. If you don't really feel secure of using centralized wallet just find desktop/mobile wallet or hardware wallet.
But if you think the centralized wallet is secure enough you can store there, it's you who decide whether you gonna take the risk or not simply because even if you used a wallet that's not centralized if you can't properly maintain your own security such as keeping away virus out of your computer then you still have the risk.
267  Economy / Economics / Re: PayPal cryptocurrency trading volume beyond expectations on: February 06, 2021, 08:18:01 AM
I still didnt get why people are buying crypto on paypal if you cant withdraw it from there

Simple. Because the value of BTC there is same with the real BTC so if you want to invest in BTC, they can simply buy and flip there without moving it outside paypal. PayPal user do not used to store there funds in there so it's same on BTC. Most of people that buying BTC in PayPal are just want to get profit on Bitcoin volatility since they are not a bitcoin enthusiasts.

Does paypal offers some kind of protection for hacking or such though? If the user can't even withdraw their bitcoin then they should get compensated by additional security features like for example reimbursement in case hacking accident occurs right?  since to be frank there are so many cases out there about paypal hacking
But if people are willing to buy coin from like PayPal might aswell buy from coinbase or such since the process is more or less the same, that's what makes me confused. Paypal could like cancel their cryptocurrency service anytime in my opinion.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fees are sky high on: February 06, 2021, 06:37:35 AM
Yeah the fee is expensive not because the fee needed higher than usual but because the price of bitcoin itself is sky rocketing (well maybe the fee needed also higher since traffic is high aswell).
Maybe just wait until the market becomes chill and the fee probably could decrease on its own but its gonna take probably weeks hopefully, transaction accelerator also worth to try if it's free.
Just be sure to choose the one with more nodes.
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yearn Finance exploited $2.8 millon stolen on: February 06, 2021, 04:19:22 AM
This is why I really doubtful about investing on such platform because there's no prove that their system is well made and well secured.
in my opinion there should be lesser defi platform but more well tested on security side instead of people creating more and more platform but there's too much hole in it. it's hard to trust such platform if every month comes out news about hacking and millions of dollar vanish into thin air.

271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are there any safe and secure exchange services where i can buy new alt coins? on: February 05, 2021, 11:43:44 PM
You should go to the top 10 exchange sites on CMC

https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/

That will be enough for you to get the safe place to buy the new crypto. Binance should be the first pick but just search the exchange site that will make you feel confidence with its service.
I recommend to pick top 10 exchange sites.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO investment criteria and advices on: February 05, 2021, 11:33:43 PM
and if yes, i agree with you because we have a lot of options now, rather than we bet our money by investing in ICO
Do you watch the result from the so many icos that ended recently, these icos have been making 10x from the ico price.
Investing in the tradable coin is good enough but it will not give us a lot of profit instantly. The people that wanna be another millionaire must do this through ICO.
They have no chance to be the whale from investing in the tradable coin on exchange site.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Youengine (YOUC) failed on: February 05, 2021, 11:31:22 PM
for now it seems that you regret not joining the YOUC campaign and have underestimated YOUC, look at the current price, they are able to make it above the IEO price and profitable for those (hunters) who are still YOUC tokens, remember don't always judge projects too early because all can be changed

So many people underestimate this project and a few months already passed and the current price getting stabilized around 3 cents.
As far as i know someone already received 600k worth of YOUC and it's around 18k USD from this campaign. I guess the majority of people got a few hundreds dollars from this campaign.
That's amazing. People should not underestimate the new project.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum - new day, new hight! on: February 05, 2021, 03:41:02 PM
ETH overcame $1700. Is $1800 around the corner?

Yes it is and why not? Ethereum is trading at $1733 now and that means if we are only less than $80 to achieve another ATH again. The market is still very bullish at this moment dude.
The new ATH could be achieved by ethereum maybe tomorrow. Is it true that grayscale was adding more money on ethereum too?
If that's true and this coin could reach 2k as soon as possible.
People are missing the train again
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 75 validators fined in Ethereum 2.0 network on: February 04, 2021, 02:48:49 PM
Ah got it and thank you so much

that's why there are lots of validators were getting -% APR

https://beaconcha.in/validators/leaderboard

Im still feeling doubt about when the total ethereum staked will be less than 32 ethereum caused by the sanction and do they still eligible to be included as validators?
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: AME Token TRADING LIVE ON BKEX EXCHANGE on: February 04, 2021, 02:42:38 PM
Up and down the AME that’s what I saw on the exchange. many AME participants are selling their coins, probably because they fear AME will continue to decline in price. Indeed, from the first time listings to date decreased a lot for AME. But they helped also it because many still hold AME coins until now. If it is now a strong hand, it will maintain the AME price and is good if the team participates in maintaining the AME coin.
The price is slowly but surely growing up again. I guess so many early participants are able selling their coins at the high profit. The price is still sustain and it's still stable at the same rate.
It looks like the majority of hunters were not selling their tokens. They do believe about the future of amepay.
It's not only happening with ame but in another legit projects the hunters were always holding their tokens.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: too much gas on uniswap on: February 04, 2021, 01:04:36 PM
10$ is too much for a lot of Ethereum users, for me, Uniswap is almost useless, no solution is provided yet, people are getting tired of it, we don't know what the future have for us.
Yesterday and today was even crazier Approved payment fees and swap payment fees on the Uniswap exchange, generally almost $ 35 in a single transaction, obviously it is very hard for everyone including people who have lots of money, because it doesn't make sense.
It's still happening till this time. The gas price keeps increasing even higher along with the bullish trend that is happening with ethereum.
The users are getting a lot of disadvantage caused by the bullish trend of ethereum. The miners were getting a lot from the fees.
There must be the solution. I don't even think people wanna use this platform forever.

280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Places To Hold Initial Coin Offerings on: January 29, 2020, 05:05:11 AM
Has anyone here invested in any projects as an IEO or ICO?
I has invested in some IEOs on binance exchange site and just got nice result from my investment. Remember this people wanna putting their money on your project when you can create a partnership with good IEO. for the more information about that and you should visit cryptorank to get IEO return and which exchange site that has launched them all.
