841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Panic selling! Yes or No? on: February 14, 2019, 03:15:35 PM
Panic selling is just the stupidest thing to do. It brings nothing but the loss of money and bad mood for a long time. We must have patience and only deliberate actions.
Panic selling causes more panic because of lack of emotion control. Long term trading require to master yourself as a professional trader and 10K hours of screen time is required for being professional trader.
Long term doesn't mean if that can give you a lot of experience with it. There was no exact number about how much hours needed to be a proffesional traders and as long as you can analyze the market and you can be a pro trader anytime. That depends on how good you can understand the market.
842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your take on the current market dwindling? on: February 14, 2019, 03:14:11 PM
Are you still optimistic that Cryptocurrencies price will soar again? Share your view.
For me, i am addicted to Blockchain/Cryptocuurecy ideology.
I have invested in cryptocurrency for several years. From the past data analysis, I think that cryptocurrency has climbed from the bottom, and as long as you can wait patiently, the bull market will definitely come.
It's not yet climbed but crypto still try to search its bottom value, some experts are believing in we have reached it and that's why some billionaires have tried to shill for bitcoin again.
Remember this is a speculation market and that means PnD will happen anytime.
843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 12 Best Cryptocurrencies for Long-Term Investment [2019 Edition] on: February 14, 2019, 03:11:46 PM
It is the first quarter of New Year 2019, and we can already see the rising trends of different cryptocurrencies in the blockchain industry. 2019 is going to be the year which is set to change the picture from bearish to bullish. Historically, people use to watch the stock market trends in terms of wealth creation, but now the focus has shifted to top long term cryptocurrencies. Like the previous year’s report, Bitcoin has once again topped the list of the world's most valuable and popular virtual coin by market cap.

Though Bitcoin faced major fluctuations in 2018, it is still the most accepted crypto coin and the most-traded virtual currency by merchants and investors.

Keeping Bitcoin as an exception that always is on the top, let’s explore the following list of the best long-term cryptocurrency investment 2019:
https://coinswitch.co/news/12-best-cryptocurrencies-for-long-term-investment-2019-edition
You can see in the list the top solid cryptocurrencies even some of them are down they still worth to invest for a long term investment. If I will invest in a cryptocurrencies I choose to invest in top solid cryptocurrencies which have great potential in the future.
This down trend caused by the bitcoin because it was getting a lot FUD from the regulators. but there is a little insight about the future of bitcoin after the commissioner of SEC said there was a chance for ETF to be approved.
844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I am surprised !!! I am confused what is happening right now. on: February 13, 2019, 11:32:48 PM
believe me soon all altcoins will start to rise again in price and everything will be fine
In the near future, I doubt that it will begin to grow, the market is very weak now and a lot of sellers on it , I think in a few years it is worth talking about growth but not now
These sellers are only following the big players, that's the only point in this market. When these big players wanna buy more and more, that will create another FOMO that will be forced little shrimps to follow it dude.
845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy on rumour and sell on news. on: February 13, 2019, 11:30:02 PM
The Ethereum fork rumour worked earlier this year, we saw ETH rise to the highest price for months because of the rumour. The problem is to actually know when the price has tanked up in order to catch out and not get drowned in the process.
But it was working again from last week. the price of ethereum steadily growth because most of ethereum speculators are keep buying before the hardfork will come as soon as possible dude. But that true if rumour was playing a lot on this market.
846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DECENT Announcement - Decentralizing Content Distribution on: February 13, 2019, 11:16:55 PM
Hello, fellow Bitcoin Talkers!

Check out the latest project developed by the DECENTfans community!

Even though it's not an official product by DECENT (official beta mobile wallet available for Android and coming soon to iOS devices), it provides a fully functional mobile wallet for Android and iOS devices.

The app gives you easy access to your stored DCT and custom tokens (UIAs), and you can also use the app to vote directly for your favorite miner!

To see the full list of features and download links for the community wallet, check out the Medium article by DECENTfans:

https://medium.com/@dctfans/vote-with-your-dct-from-your-pocket-d05506b4ce0d

In addition to the DCT, will ERC 20 tokens be supported by the wallet? Will Bitcoin also support in the wallet ?
I don't think this wallet will support any other assets but this will be only supporting DCT coin. But i just feeling confused to see why this team was renewing the wallet instead created a new product to replace the fail one?
847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Listing on Livecoin on: February 13, 2019, 11:13:20 PM
Good news everyone! We are pleased to announce that another market has turned its attention to our project. It is Livecoin. Now all holders of MobileGO tokens have the opportunity to trade on this exchange.

The token is traded in two the most common pairs: MGO/BTC, MGO/ETH.

This might not be the largest exchange, but we are very pleased to provide you with a variety of trading platforms.

Also we still believe this listing will make a valuable contribution to the overall popularity and success of MGO. Feel free to try it out on www.livecoin.net

Stay alerts for more news! Happy trading!

This is what the MGO added on Livecoin. But I am very confused by the volume of daily trading $ 32 https://coinmarketcap.com/ru/currencies/mobilego/#markets

Shocked The volume of trading is really too small in the exchange. there are very few people trade the token. So the team should look for a large exchange such as bittrex.

Not up to date in this regard, but is Bittrex still a place to go? They were strong in the past but lost quite some of their dominance.
Not only some but it almost lost more than 80% volume when they did it in the past. They must see binance and any other major market like upbit or okex. bittrex can be catagorized as small exchange site right now.
848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell BTT to buy more TRX, the power of compounding? on: February 12, 2019, 10:55:58 PM
Is it a good idea to sell airdropped BitTorrent tokens and buy more Tron? Each month on 11th there will be airdrop providing holder with more BTT, thanks to this after several months portfolio would grow. Two things to consider:
- is BTT growth rate surpassing TRX? Depends on other apps in Tron ecosystem?
- Does it make sense to do this operation, when airdrop would last only 5 years?

Opinions would be appreciated.
1. It's not yet surpassed TRX if you wanna try to create a comparison between it and TRX will be a winner. It makes sense consider about yearly airdrop for all of token holders.
It's not so good as people said to hold BTT consider a lot of amounts still hold by the team
849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How a Fee-less Ecosystem Allows for True Privacy on: February 12, 2019, 10:49:50 PM
-Bump-

Would like to hear some thoughts on the matter.

Most whales that I know, don't care about it. Unless they do and raise concerns in a major way, no one is actually going to spend time thinking about it or even creating things that help.
And for the rest of us small traders that more frugal in nature, we'd trade in cryptos that allow darksend/mixing natively through their wallets.
Might as well stay in that small-coin market, push it a bit and then cash out.

You can't deny that they would have to care about the privacy part, even if whales use other blockchains they still won't be gaining 100% privacy.

Wouldn't cash out ever nor just push it a  bit because the project is more then just a privacy coin.

sure they would care about the fees if it saves them money why pay for something that doesn't work.

Have you even bother to ask "whales" because your just providing a opinion about you yourself as a small trader on what others would think.

Stop trolling to say that people wouldn't care about 100% privacy.
People will care about that and that's why most of while are using decentralized blockchain like bitcoin and monero to keep their privacy. People will care so much about that. One of the purpose from the blockchain to create a high privacy ecosystem.
850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BAT (Basic Attn coin) and Brave browser on: February 12, 2019, 10:46:55 PM
The other day Coinbase sent this promo email for me to watch videos about BAT. So I did watch them and earned $3USD worth of the BAT coin.
It seems like a nice project?  Anybody not like it?  Anybody love it?

Unfortunately my iPhone is too old to support the browser for BRAVE, which seems cool. I'd like to have it, and keep earning more BAT freebies.
I have used the brave browser and it seems like i will always use it. Is this for real? i never get any promotion about bat token from coinbase dud. If that was true and that should be kind of airdrop dude. It will happen for two times.
851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Withdrawal Issues, KYC/AML and cryptocurrency exchange regulations in 2019 on: February 12, 2019, 10:40:09 PM
RightBTC requires KYC for withdrawals which is a bit off putting for some. However, there are many exchanges to choose from like crex24 which has a lower volume but you don't have to worry about KYC
Most of exchange sites are following this way but only are putting KYC as the main requirements before you can start your deposit and withdrawal but remember if you are putting very striict rules to your exchange sites and then it will be so difficult to attract the demand.
852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When bullrun comes on: February 12, 2019, 10:38:37 PM
To be sage, just forget the thoughts of a bull run and focus on today and tomorrow
Focus on today by buying short term project tokens

Focus on tomorrow by buying long term profits targets
There's no ETA about when it will come, remember the fact that it can happen anytime and it looks impossible to predict it since the market was showing various trend. It can be bumped easily and dumped.
To buy an asset for short or term needs a lot of analyzation dude
853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how do you see the market? on: February 07, 2019, 03:57:59 PM
I see a bear market with a consistent downward slope for the last 12 months (particularly if you switch the chart to 'log' scale). The bear continues,. and I think we'd need to double current prices before we could say the bear is reaching an end.
But I am confident that the bear will end this year, and we will start a new bull run.
Bear market does occur until now and it's likely that the situation will be far worse. In order to ensure that we have left a bear market, the market situation must really increase much higher. the current price situation is still quite worrying and for anyone who invests it must be careful enough. make smart and careful decisions, take advantage of every momentum that exists so we can benefit from a situation like this.
It will be a very difficult thing when you are seeing the market gets manipulated by the whale. In fact that the direction of crypto market is abstract. There will be a new announcement about fidelity next month and it may bring a little bullish trend to bitcoin.
854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run on January, February or March? Your Predictions please...... on: February 07, 2019, 03:54:39 PM
I think next bullrun will be in one month or so. probably in March. As in March Fidelity going to launch platform for crypto accets in March  Roll Eyes
trillions of usd going to come in crypto  Roll Eyes

https://www.cryptoglobe.com/latest/2019/01/fidelity-with-7-2-trillion-in-aum-reportedly-launching-crypto-custody-in-march/

It will really move the market if trillions of dollars will enter in this industry, but who is gonna put millions of dollars again after lots of scams are reported in this industry. But still hoping that it will happen again.

When big whales will start investing trillions and pump the market, than small investors will will carry money again in crypto. And nowdays market almost cleared of scammers. In 2017 bullrun was most huge than in 2013. So I think next bullrun will be much more huge than in 2017 and we will see new AHT. May be something like at last 50k or 100k per BTC.

Well, that's a lot of hope that speaks in your 'predicition'. Now everyone is waiting for Fidelity, before that it was (or still is?) Bakkt or the Bitcoin ETF.

Seems they definitely launch platform in March. As they said their platform at final testing phase right now:

https://www.ccn.com/final-testing-phase-fidelity-nears-launch-of-cryptocurrency-trading-custody-platform

And with such huge money which they operating this probably much more huge than Bakkt  Roll Eyes

I do not think that bakkt, fidelity, etfs are huge for Bitcoin. I believe any of them can't create huge additional  demand instantly and all of them represent centralized bureaucracy structures.
With all of these applications means if all of the things are getting centralized to the bitcoin. These applications will force bitcoin and crypto to follow all of the compliances that issued by the regulators.
855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: buy NEO coins now? on: February 07, 2019, 03:41:53 PM
I now also continue to buy NEO, while prices remain at a minimum. I continue to believe in the huge development potential of NEO, from next year it will definitely go up. But in any case, you need to distribute your investments and buy various good coins.
neo does continue to grow, but indeed it is a shame we cannot make predictions on any assets that might rise. be it bitcoin or ethereum we cannot predict how long they will fall. but I believe when the market experiences the growth of all crypto assets will increase, not only neo but all assets.
It doesn't even have a little bullish trend. NEO has no demand and that's what im seeing right now. a lot of new coins have grabbed the demand for NEO and that's why this coin will die as soon as possible. Look at the fact that the new ico doesn't even interested to use neo as its main platform.
856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Passive income from cryptocurrencies in 2019 on: February 06, 2019, 11:05:03 PM
Yes, cryptos are emerging as new way of passive income for investors. Some coins already provide such as eos, steem and masternode coins.

How do EOS and Steem provide?
It seems to me that most of these coins show good results in the green color of the cryptocurrency market. If we analyze the latest changes in prices for cryptocurrency, then they do it almost simultaneously.
He was talking about how you can get the passive income from EOS and Steem while both of coins are not having staking feature and how you can do that? it seems like you are missing the point from that guy dude.
857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 best year for ICO on: February 06, 2019, 03:46:59 PM
I bet we will see better and baddass projects in 2020 simply because bitcoin halving is 2020 ,since what most devs care about is market condition and fear of dumping there tokens 2020 will be a better target for upcoming projects  and that doesn't mean there won't be scam projects too ,profits is all we care about isn't it?

Y'all are just speculating about the Bitcoin halving like It's a moon launcher for Bitcoin and altcoins. Well, I do think that we should better wait and see rather than speculating and giving false hopes to Crypto users. We all know the halving brings about a more slower rate of supply of Bitcoins but What we don't know is how this affects the market. We've had a couple of good news in 2018 that didn't make the market to take a positive turn. We should be weary of that.

ICOs may or may not come back to the glory days.
Some people have been taking the old history of bitcoin halving as the main fundamental to support that speculation. So far if you are doing a lot of research to the bitcoin chart and you will finds a lot of interesting things on it. Just like a gradual increase a year after halving.
858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you participate in crowdfunding? on: February 06, 2019, 03:39:44 PM
That's right, for ICOs who really succeed in raising funds but the price of coins or their tokens are destroyed a lot due to traders who enter ICO as short-term investors open to long-term investors. They take advantage of discounts or bonuses from pre-ICO and ICO purchases that can get tens of percent bonus. But it's always blamed for bounty hunters, even though their share is only around 2% - 3% of the total tokens sold
It's not always the bounty hunter, the real thing to blame is the admin of those ICO project. The down fall of the project start on internal and not those bounty hunters who only want a real money than it's alternative coins.
Giving huge bonuses in private sales and pre-sale and bonuses at the ICO stage which are always big and the commitment of ICO developers who are not consistent with their products is a big factor that killed the ICO. Sometimes there are also advisors who directly sell the tokens they get so that they reduce prices. There are many factors that kill the ICO, but only 2-3% bounty is very meaningless
Especially when the dev can't provide a good market that will give them all a huge liquidity and then it can kill the price of token instantly. As far as i know to offer a lot of bonuses seem to be the worst thing ever i seen in these days.
859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin Price Prediction 2019: LTC Price May Touch 230 USD In 2019 on: February 06, 2019, 01:35:02 PM
Recently, Charlie Lee announced that Litecoin introduces Confidential Transactions to wear off the fungibility problem. This is a huge step towards Litecoin’s growth as it will no longer be known as Bitcoin’s sister. It will be having its own identity. MibleWimble Protocol will be looping in to make Litecoin fungible, private and scalable. Litecoin Confidential Transaction will help mitigate the issues like knowing the history of what the good or commodity has been put to use which has been inherent in public blockchains.

The Litecoin price prediction is done based on the fact that it is the 7th most valuable cryptocurrency in the world. Litecoin, with its low transaction costs and quick confirmation times, is becoming “the new global payments standard for consumers and businesses worldwide.” It also reassures merchants that costs are likely lower than they thought. The payment processing fees are far less than those incurred by credit cards and other forms of payment and even the integration is free.

To know more in detail read here: https://coinswitch.co/news/litecoin-price-prediction-2019-ltc-price-may-touch-230-usd-in-2019-litecoin-price-today-litecoin-news-ltc-price-prediction%E2%80%93february-06
Not sure about that, just try to take some new blockchain platforms which were created the more scalable blockchain compared to the litecoin. Dude, litecoin will never be an independent coin. That will always pegged to the bitcoin and that's not only litecoin but whole of crypto.
860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Suddenly disappearing token on: February 05, 2019, 11:16:22 PM
Have you discovered some token were disappearing within the market at this period. Such as Bitboost just suddenly disappeared away from market without prior awareness. Should that be? Is that not a cheat?

Tokens doesn't disappear. When the volume falls under some level, different for every exchange, tokens get delisted. It's the same with Coinmarketcap.

In your example, BitBoost is still alive, as a token, but nobody cares: https://etherscan.io/token/0x1500205f50bf3fd976466d0662905c9ff254fc9c
Because the team announced that they are closing 2 months ago: https://medium.com/bitboost/engineering-heavy-cash-light-good-bye-from-bitboost-33ea6dc8b1f1

You could still trade it @ ForkDelta: https://forkdelta.app/#!/trade/BBT-ETH

But it's a dead coin. The dumb team of bitboost has announced that if they were out of funds to continue the development and what a crap? When you are seeing a project that called byteball didn't need such a dumb team to create a new consensus that used by plagiarized by some major platforms right now.
