1101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Scalable Altcoins on: July 09, 2018, 08:02:17 AM
when you talk about cryptocurrencies it is so wide that it is hard to just narrow it down.
speaking of Scaling, it depends on the project. for example a centralized altcoin can scale up to whatever level you want it to. just like VISA, Paypal,... are capable of processing a lot of transactions! so of course there are altcoins that are more scalable...

but when you talk about a decentralized cryptocurrency then you can not speak about scaling and not its decentralization because you have to scale it in a way that you don't harm the decentralization.
in that case bitcoin is still on top. but i can see the potential in altcoins that are using DAG. they have been reported to be able to handle larger number of TPS but i personally don't have enough information about their pros and cons.

I probably should have narrowed it down into different categories. In terms of scaling, I think BTC will win it. However, I am also interested in smaller alts that are trying new approaches to scaling. As for centralized coins, I think that they can scale but I am uninterested in them since it requires trust in their leadership and I am not one for that. Do you have any coins that in mind that use DAG? I'd love to check them out.
Byteball (first DAG), IOTA, and NANO. But in fact it doesn't really important about how scalable the blockchain is. The only important thing about how useful the blockchain for the community.
There is a lot of things that need to be considered as important things such as security, immutability and many more.
1102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can we protect ourselves from scam? on: July 03, 2018, 03:49:43 PM
It is difficult for us to detect fraud, we can only learn to avoid and not believe in something that smells fraudulent. Be careful to always keep personal data do not get tempted something big thing.
Thats true it's difficult for us to detect fraud, before investing in one project, you should first analyze and find information the project you want to invest.  At least it can help to avoid fraud.
There is a lot of scammers are hidding right now. Another bad thing that the ico review site can be paid by these scammers to give a good rate to their project. The ico review site is undirectly supporting these scammers and it can't be tolerated. To analyze which is scam ico really difficult to do.
1103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gold rise coming! ---> Breakout to 30-35 possible!! on: July 03, 2018, 03:46:07 PM
Bitcoin Gold this year can reach the top $ 200 like last year
I hope the team will dump their bitcoin gold pre-mined token to the market as fast as possible to make the price for each BTG worth zero value in the future, This is just another useless coin with 51% attack. No utility usage and it's only the combination between hardfork, pump and dump. this is complete shitcoin.
1104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tezos beta-net, tokens release + exchange on: July 03, 2018, 03:43:58 PM
Zero credibility. I participated in the ICO and I don't remember anything regarding KYC, forcing it to users without prior notice is just dumb. Do you know how severe is the verification?

Didn't understand man. Zero credibility to what?
The tezos team has forced the investors to full fill the KYC requirement and it has not even promised by the developer. There is a lot of people can't complete it because it needs various requirements.
A lot of people are thinking about this project have zero credibility. lol
1105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Don't be one of those weak hands!!! on: July 02, 2018, 04:05:40 PM
People who can easily abandon the crypto currency and sell it immediately as soon as the price has fallen by a couple of percent is not needed for the crypto currency market. Without such people, the crypto currency will develop faster. Therefore, those who want, sell, no one will not stop you.

At least they can bring more money when they will wanna enter the crypto market next time. Remember those weak hands don't have good mentality. they are getting FUD and move their token to the market instantly and then they are dumping it just in some seconds. they will learn a lot from there.
1106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ERC20 token "Pending Transaction" more than 24 hours on: July 02, 2018, 04:02:06 PM
Hello,

My 54,012 LEND withdrawel from Exchange to Exchange wallet is "Pending Status" more than 24 hours,  Angry

Exchange said that "It is on blockchain Be Patient"

Is there any way to get confirmation, or accelerate ERC20 transaction?

Is there any miner can help me?

Is there any suggestion?

https://etherscan.io/tx/0x522b548e261e4093ba14d3b956bfaaa52b7d0030f412117d6685333e25c42b96

i guess you can try to request to re-broadcast your transaction again. Due to the there are some people are wasting and spamming the ethereum network and it makes your txid will not appear caused by your transaction was on the low priority. It looks like someone has started to spam the transaction in the ethereum network again.
1107  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think the markets will collapse on: July 02, 2018, 03:58:38 PM
I never thought the market would collapse, if it had some stage that you are not satisfied then you should accept and it will quickly come back you should also have more hope for it
That's just another FUD and they are all saying the market will collapse just try to buy more and more bitcoin as much as possible. you can see that about how the majority of people are still seeing an opportunity in the crypto currency. I never take any FUD seriously and i just try to consider about that as a joke that has created by mad person.
1108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SCAM, which is not really SCAM! on: July 02, 2018, 03:57:22 PM
Do you think, does % Scams depend on the bonus manager?
If you remember, write projects that were accused of being SCAM, and after ICO were successful projects?
What do you mean? I can try to tell you the project that being accused as a scam project just like impressio. it has been offering a very big bonus to the investors. But i don't know what you mean about the bonus manager and you shall give the more explanation about that.
1109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: buy low sell HIGH :)) on: July 01, 2018, 03:46:03 PM
best strategy since "buy low sell hi"
Not so easy as everyone said that. How high you can sell your token and how low you can buy back again your token.
Buy low and sell hi but when the market goes even worst and it may go even lower or higher. Just do it without any TA or FA support and then you could be lost your amount in short time.
1110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I am sure Bitcoin Will go $50,000 End of this year because of ETF! on: July 01, 2018, 03:44:16 PM
Big names in crypto predict that bitcoin will go $50k end of this year and they were 50% correct because anything can happen of crypto right? but for me, if bitcoin ETF will be approved I'm sure that ETF Will Push Bitcoin price to $50,000, let's wait 60 days starting today and go back to this thread in September or October and let's see  Wink
Okay let's see and i guess it will not happen after ETF. As far as i know that even the total supply of bitcoin will have reached 21 million bitcoins in the circulation and it will not make the price of bitcoin more than 50k. It doesn't even the old ATH and that's the fact,
1111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICOBench reliable source with ligit ICOs? on: June 30, 2018, 06:55:09 AM
Yes ICOBench is considered to be the most famous rating site, but I prefer to use many sources when choosing to get as much information as possible about the project that interests me. Naturally, no service will give you a guarantee that the project to which the high score is delivered will be successful and not a fraud. Here at the forum your question has already been raised and it has been answered many times. Just in case, I'll give you a list of some of the services I use myself:
https://icorating.com
https://icomarks.com/icos
https://crushcrypto.com
https://www.icochamps.com
https://tokentops.com/rating/
https://icocrunch.io
icobench is most famous rating site because i think they are have an expert in crypto to analyze the ICO project and give it a rating whether the ICO is good or not, there are also many advisors in icobench.
Have you ever seen about the latest news about that? icobench just a scam site that has been getting paid to give a rating and listing the scam projects. There is bunch of scam projects are listed on the ico bench site. That's worst ico rating site ever i seen.
1112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about the ICO Project from Sunxcoin? on: June 30, 2018, 06:52:59 AM
Any coin that claims a stable interest rate is 100% a scam. Look at bitconnect, ethconnect, bitpenta, and countless more.
And the project that has already mentioned by OP is another scam like bitconnect and anyother connect coin.  Roll Eyes

OP, that's just another bullshit promise from the scammer.I guess you can try to avoid sunxcoin. The sound really strange in my opinion.
1113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Old Coins on: June 30, 2018, 06:51:22 AM
There are plenty of opportunities in Crypto.  Don't get distracted by all the new coins with fancy use-cases and ICO this and Whitepaper that.  If you are relatively new to Crypto I would suggest looking at some of the older coins and see how they have done over the years.

Feathercoin - Fast transactions, the algorithm has changed from Scrypt to Neoscrypt to make it GPU-friendly.
Unobtanium - Very rare, merge mined with BTC.
Peercoin - Pretty sure this coin was the first staking coin.
Terracoin - Another staking coin, now with masternodes.

Each one of these coins is still around and active.  Don't be caught up in the hype of new coins without looking at some of the old coins.

I might think that you are forgetting to mention html coin. The majority of them have no demand at all. It's so sad to see that. People are still feeling more comfortable to betting on the new platform because they can generate a lot of money instantly.
1114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RIPPLE OR LITECOIN on: June 25, 2018, 03:37:52 PM
I would choose litecoin because almost all xrp is owned by Ripple, its price can be manipulated by Ripple easily. On the other hand litecoin is a decentralized coin, the possibility of its price being manipulated by an individual is very low.
Yea, ripple is a centralized non-banker coin (banker interested only with ripple blockchain for them ripple coin will be useless). Ripple has been holding so many pre-mined coin.
but i thought that everyone will choose litecoin as the best coin rather than ripple.
1115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NPXS (Pundi X) on: June 25, 2018, 03:36:23 PM
Pundi X was like listed on binance because it won the community voting round. If you checked the chart of it few days before it got listed, you can see that it rised like more than 60%. Pundi was the in the top in votes from the starting day itself. So it was clearly priced in. Selling before the listing was indeed the smart decision. Currently it's down like 50%, so it may be a good time to buy more. It looks like a good project indeed. But don't forget, the market is not healthy at the moment.
It has been decreasing again and it looks so bad to see that. How the binance listing doesn't even give any impact right now. The bearish trend is a really strong reason to make every development update being useless. This trend looks so bad because so many coin get decreased a lot.
1116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your trading plan? on: June 25, 2018, 03:34:51 PM
My plan is to buy a big diversity of promising altcoins when they are cheap, after that maybe I'll have to wait a few year until the price rises, and then I'll sell them, and with the profit I'll buy some more altcoins to keep investing.

Interesting strategy. But mine may not be better, but it's more effective. To begin with, I choose a good token that keeps afloat. I'm starting to buy it on a conditional bottom. Then if it keeps falling, I buy it again until it starts to grow. Then sell when it exceeds the amount of the first purchase.
Just try to put a spider web at the bottom looks a very good decision. it will be so difficult to build a parfect strategy in the bearish trend. the only best strategy to buy crypto when price reach the floor.
the only question is when will it start to grow? So no one can answer that.
1117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could we ever see AltCoins on Banks? on: June 25, 2018, 03:30:35 PM
Ripple has been talking about them being adopted to different banks.

That can be of possibility that altcoins will be adopted to banks but it all depends on what coins they do prefer but of course the top coins will be on the list.

It will be "crypto" in general, overall when the banks are ready to adopt it.
Lol they are talking only to adopt the blockchain system of ripple and they have never talked to adopt ripple coin as a part of their ecosystem. They are only interesting to the blockchain technology and this has been discussed in so many times. You can try to read whole news about that in cointelegraph
1118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to find potential small cap projects on: June 25, 2018, 12:20:27 AM
It's better to find the projects before they get added on Coinmarketcap. Look for projects picking up good volume on quick-to-list exchanges like IDEX. Decent volume + not much appreciation and then check for the fundamentals. If it's a sound project you are good to go.
do you think the coinmarketcap added gives an impact to the price of token? It's not. The majority of them get early hype when they are trading on the exchange site. Remember there is a lot of tokens are traded below the ico price just like XYO, OMX and they are all not seem good.
1119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH for the win? on: June 24, 2018, 11:59:23 PM
I know that ETH could not win and take over beyond BTC, but BTC is currently falling right now, do you think Ethereum could win incase BTC falls into abyss consecutively all day?

Although,

As of June, 22, 2018.

Ether Price Analysis
There was a sharp bearish reaction during the past two sessions for ETH/USD. Ether’s price failed to move past the $550.00 barrier, resulting in a crucial break below $520.00 and $500.00.

Similarly, ETH/BTC was not able to surpass the 0.0800BTC resistance and started a downward move. The pair is moving lower and it could revisit the 0.0750BTC support.

What are your thoughts about this?
I suggest you to wait about the next update of ethereum protocol. Casper and sharding will change everything and we will see a lot of increase on the ethereum price. But this time bitcoin still everything and i can't even see any chance to the ethereum could win against bitcoin. Casper is the key for ethereum.
1120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: nem vs cardano, who is the best on: June 24, 2018, 11:51:53 PM
i want to invest in altcoins, i found there are two nice altcoins, altcoins name it is nem and cardano, what do you think is the best, nem or cardano?
I will try to go to the nem blockchain. Remember ada is just another copycat smartcontract platform. Nem has best scalability right now. But you can try to invest in both of projects.
This will not make you feel confusing about that.
