First of all I don't think what Vitalik said, affect the market. Second, Bitcoin and altcoins are still behaving like one another. Altcoins rise when bitcoin rises and altcoin falls when bitcoin falls.
When haters are blaming vitalik and that was totally worthless. I was seeing how so many haters are blaming vitalik through every thread they are created to get a lot of attention from others. This only to get the stabilization of the price and i don't think if we are on serious problem about that. bitcoin falls and altcoin follows. I just read one thread about the red market "blaming" Vitalik Buterin. I find that laughable. The real reason is people are starting to bet on BTC again and selling alts even cheap. It always go through this cycle before the alts really take off. Some also use the opportunity to collect more alts later...sell now (high), buy later (low). It can be a good way to play but very risky. I used to do it but learned I don't have the nerve to be in that game. Play it, or HODL...both are valid ways to go. Just don't panic, bullish market is coming...BTC first then alts (may dip a little but) will follow.  We are red because of Chinese New Year I don't know why are you always linking the chinese new year with every correction of crypto currency. |

I use it there is a lot of news coins ! And it work better than ED !!  How can you be sure it's safe? Etherdelta already checked, but Forkdelta is new exchange. Who created it? I am reading more people using forkdelta apparently, but I'm also hesitant to just switch over or start using this one. Rather than fork delta and idex may better than it, The majority of people was actually didn't know about those people behind fork delta and does the site is trustworthy or not. Idex was offering better credibility, a lot of people are still talking about those are forked etherdelta to created such a fork decentralized exchange site. If you are having one is very trustworthy and then why are you looking for another unknown one? |

Litecoin Cash just Forked! Set up my alarm to sell off all of my LTC for BTC in anticipation of a crash (at block 1371113); and expecting a concomitant increase in BTC price as others probably would have done the same. The sudden massive transfers on the LTC Blockchain ( https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ltc/ ) might be indicative of what I am guessing too!
Set my exchange to automatically buy back LTC at an estimated lower price (vs. BTC) later. *Fingers Crossed, and back to sleep* Sure, We are repeating what already happened with NXT and ignis, That was only hype and just try to sell that before snapshot. But i heard the fork coin was cancelled. But is it already forked? I believe litecoin will get another big dump just like NXT asap, and we are waiting for another big deep for sure. NXT is the worst case ever in airdrop history. People lose a lot from there because they aren't selling after fork. |

Everything is in development so let's see which will win out. I think Ethereum will become like Google in the western countries and Neo will become like alibaba like it currently is.
This looks real, how ethereum makes a domination of the worldwide smartcontract adopters and then NEO try to rule china with its project. So, just like what already happened with google and alibaba. I really like Cardano, but they have high standards. This could be a benefit and a curse in this newly developing market. I think we will just have to wait and see.
The blockchain technology can develop and be a great boon for the world or it can just become another credit card and coupon/reward system. It needs time.
Cardano is another gold but i can't predict when that will be shining. It seems cardano is overhyped coin in my opinion. It looks there will be a more smart contract competitor for sure. |

Yes, I also think so, because now more and more people who know how to do something on ether platform or maybe on something else are trying to make their ICO just to steal money from people. If you guys are referring to Failtoken, then they clearly agree that they will NOT give anyone any major benefits. Their token is worth zero, so they are not trying to steal but trying to teach you how it feels to fail. LOL  What was the different between failtoken and fucktoken? i think that both was the same and there is no benefit for owning both of tokens. This was actually a parody from them. Only another joke to the crypto users. But that's reflecting what was happening with the majority of shit and fail token. |

I successfully sent some cryptocurrency the other day. Then when I looked over my transaction, it had a gas amount or charge. What is this gas amount? I never heard of it and I don't even know what it is. Now is there anyway to avoid it or at the very least minimize it's amount? Please can someone give me some advice and steer me in the right direction!
It becomes your responsibility to pay gas amount if you are using ethereum network or something that related to the smartcontract system. it's the same if you are paying or sending anything with bitcoin and you must pay the transaction fees. but in gas has different system with bitcoin. Because you need to input gas price and amount the contract will try to execute based on your input. |

It just came off of ICO recently, and the price has dropped a bit during this crash, but is still 14x from ICO. I'm considering investing, since it could be a potential Ethereum-killer. What are you guys' thoughts on it?
I've heard so many people said about that, If you are talking about medium cap coin called as ethereum killer and then what about those major coins that have been called as ethereum killer too such as eos or even cardano? This year?? Obviously possible, i just had 28 LTC few days back @140$ and today i saw they are now 220$+, Daamn.
I believe that when ETH can go 1000$ then LTC can surely go.
With a help from scam fork litecoin cash which not officially launched by charlie lee and another litecoin developer and litepay the price of litecoin surge to $220. Charlie said that it's just the matter of time until lightning will be implemented on the litecoin which means it brings another hype again soon. $500 looks possible but i'm not sure about $1k. |

No need to use etherdelta. We got IDEX now! Much faster, without problems like etherdelta, hackless, decentralized and better designed exchange. Also the variety of coin is too much  IDEX seems interesting,but so much I have seen token are not automaticly submiter like it is on etherdelta. Which one is better for 2018 investment?
My personal choice will be EOS because Larimer has already proved that is ready to deliver absolutely working product. I don't see anything related to the EOS working product. Do you say the platform of eos as a working product, and why cardano performs even better than eos? As a project aims to decentralized everything and it's a bit strange to see. But eos should be a winner in comparison between eos and waves. |

I have recently seen where bounty hunters were asked to present identifying documents. Am really against kyc because one of the reasons I joined crypto was the anonymity which it provides. But sadly that's gently creeping away.
Now this KYC has come into airdrops. Imagine am to submit my ID to some I don't know which planet he or she or they are from for some pennies worth tokens.
It's terrible and this is a bad precedence these people are setting.
If as a community we do not say no to this, then it would become the norm.
For those are filling KYC verification for worthless token from airdrop and then congratulation your identity has been scammed. I was refusing to fill kyc requirement in every airdrop that applies kyc verification to the participant. the result will be random and then what will be happening if the price of token worth zero value?I guess you just wasted a lot of your time for that. |

Myetherwallet+ ledger is actually a great combo. So I Will stay with MEW until There Will be a wallet with real different features
I guess the most ppl will continue to use MEW just because they used to. But if mycrypto will provide some usefull features (I don't even know what could they offer), I'd probably move to mycrypto too. Mycrypto and mew is similar, there is on differences between both of wallets. But honestly mycrypto developer is more active to give any update to the github code rather than mew. I just try to use my crypto and it works similar like myetherwallet. But the majority of people familiar with mew and that means the demand will still on the mew. |

This sucks, people losing money and the price still falling. After re brand and all the launches it doesn't go up. The team is noob but that is understandable, they dont have experience leading a company they are just developers. I will still hold this coin but it kind disappointing all the problems they had so far.
Quite the opposite. The Nano team are very professional, very vocal with the community, dealing with bugs exceptionally quickly (sometimes within hours of them being reported), are open and supportive. The problem here is the BitGrail exchange and their owner, Bomber, being completely unprofessional, very immature, and having no idea how to run a business/exchange.
It's now being suggested that the funds actually disappeared MONTHS ago, and he didn't tell anyone, continuing to allow people to deposit on his exchange. I hope criminal charges are brought against him.That means is the real scammers is bitgrail itself. As far as i know about the fact that how people are still put more and more money to that shit exchange site, This is just similar into the coincheck. But so many shit centralized exchange in the future. If he didn't tell anyone for months ago and then he was a real scammer buddy. |

Hi I wonder if it would be possible to create a coin that - promotes less use of electricity.... one way could be to limit who can mine the coin like low power devices (just a thought)

I really believe NEP5 will surpass ERC20 in the long run if Ethereum won't upgrade their scalibity and transactions their are platforms that will surpass ETH in the long run. I'm a Big fan of NEO hope it will last forever.
That's why you don't even read the latest economic whitepaper and a new roadmap of ethereum platform. Ethereum will move to hybrid system, raiden,plasma and especially sharding blockchain to compete with visa scalabilty with million transaction in minute.  |
