1181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [POW] BITCOINCASHCASH! 4th july Fork of bitcoin aimed at dethroning RogerV on: May 01, 2018, 11:34:20 PM
So will it be a bitcoin cash fork? Now the doubt has rolled, mainly because of the name. The objective and starting from that fork of day 4, to launch the bitcoincashcash more of which fork? BTC or BCH?
Well it was going to be of bcash, however that would give some sort of credit to bcash, so this is a fork of the Bitcoin blockchain, people who support and own Bitcoin at the time of the fork will receive bitcoincashcash...people who hold bitcoincash will not.
Because as we all know " Bitcoincashcash is the true bitcoincash" so therefore we can't fork from it.
This will be a Bitcoin fork 100 percent. It will be held on July 4th because that is the American day of independence, and as such seems a fitting day to fork a coin aimed at Decentralising a centralised (and very misleading) entity.
To be more scalable, widespread adoption and better than bitcoin cash. And that's it.

The way I see it, Bitcoin is a technology.

https://bitcoincore.org/
Bitcoin is a technology. Core = Long term stable store of value. I hold amounts for this very reason. Cash = Just that. I use my bitcoin cash for that.

Core = HODL / HOARD
Cash = Use / Spend

I was feeling curious about where do you spend your bitcoin cash? Does bitcoin cash already delist from so many exchange sites as there were no demands to trade on bitcoin cash pair?  Roll Eyes

Is bitcoin cash still suitable to be the bitcoin cash?Is it not bitcoin?
1182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Analysts Predict Upcoming Bitcoin ‘Price Explosion’ on: April 30, 2018, 11:52:53 PM
It's certainly expected of everyone. the explosion of high prices could even surpass the achievement of such late last year. It is sometimes it's hard to predict, but certainly, if you see developments that there is then a bitcoin will increasingly continue to increase every year.
We soon going to expect the explosion of the new price of bitcoin in the future but as of today it is influencing a lot of altcoins while it is started to rise slowly. It will take some months before that explosion will going to happen but it is not certain yet that it will going to happen soon.
Crypto is about pump and dump, after a big dump for crypto and there will be a big pump soon. We should see the fact that the market is more mature right now. And every bullish signal can be easily detected.
A little correct mean nothing for us. It will be happen but not for this time.
1183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I invest in Litecoin now or invest in bitcoin? on: April 30, 2018, 11:50:41 PM
Litecoin was one of the first altcoins to appear so it was heavily inspired by the ideas behind Bitcoin. In fact, it is made to be the currency that will address the major drawbacks of Bitcoin. It is 4x faster (2.5 vs 10 minutes for releasing a block) and mining is somewhat easier.
It certainly has been over the years, even though there were short term fluctuations that are inevitable for any currency. But at the end of the day, it has always been in the top 5 cryptocurrencies.
It is traded on almost all reputable exchanges, so it’s very easy to get a hold of it. However with the current price at $151 only did you think it has a high probability of increasing in price drastically possibly competing with bitcoin in the future as a means of storing value??
The block size doesn't matter a lot but you must focus on the adoption of the coin. I guess with fail litepay and people are loosing a lot of believe in the litecoin and this time bitcoin gives the more potential compared with altcoin and i guess you should watch it dude. bitcoin will better compared with litecoin.
1184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s hot in South Korea — What do the Koreans know that we don’t? on: April 30, 2018, 11:35:32 PM
I think both of these are quite popular. I am not so sure about South Korea, but these options are amongst highly looked at in rest of the world!
Remember what has become the hottest topic when PBOC announced the the majority of bitcoin exchange sites were not allowed to operate in the china. The majority of chinese traders are moving to the korean exchange site as alternative way. So all of the demand come from china i think.
1185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins value? on: April 29, 2018, 04:27:15 AM
To think there are hundreds of altcoins out there and hundreds of upcoming ICO’s promoting altcoins and their uses. I wonder how can an altcoin have value when there are lot of altcoins have almost the same platform and uses? what are the basis of this value in an altcoin that have the same uses?
Supply and demand becomes the main things to determine the final price of the token itself. I guess you could see that so many fixed price coin gets unexpected value because it has various supply and demand. Even there are some projects are working on the same platform but it seems like the supply will give different result on the final price of every token.
1186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Stellar going to be a top 5 coin? on: April 27, 2018, 03:55:34 AM
Stellar supporters are claiming that the coin has potential to reach among the top 5. Today, in a maket sentiment of uncertainty haunting most of crypto Stellar still manages to rise 8% in USD value over the last 24 hours.

https://cryptocoincharts.info/coins/show/xlm

What do you think of XLM's potential?
Dan larimer is a part of the stellar team. It looks like it's a bit difficult to say but it will be still below EOS. As open payment system and stellar is worth more than EOS consider from its usefulness.
I guess don't expect a lot from stellar, this day it has been getting a pump but it will be back again soon.
1187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think all controled by a computer? on: April 27, 2018, 03:52:10 AM
Make sure the bitcoin is managed by an extremely large computer system. Bitcoin is created by a community of people who are able to participate in this network. They build computer systems and "dig" Bitcoin. This network can handle transactions and create their own billing system. On the world, people use software built from algorithms to create Bitcoin. Algorithms are always visible publicly, so anyone can test them.
In conclusion, crypto is pegged with a computer, All of the aspects in the cryptocurrency are using the computer as the primary tool to create every protocol and development. But in fact, everything needs the computer. Even the bitcoin network has built from so many computers around the world that interact one to each other.
1188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MyEtherWallet Succumbs to DNS Attack with $ 17 million stolen on: April 26, 2018, 12:04:43 AM
You know what ? OP is writing random thing and smugle his website link there. There no 17million stolen https://etherscan.io/address/0x1d50588c0aa11959a5c28831ce3dc5f1d3120d29 here the hacker wallet. I hope you guys still be aware too.
Been searching up which wallet on where OP is tending to say here.$17 million stolen is indeed high amount but i dont think the address you given in on the ones who do make that redirection or DNS hack of mew. 215 Ether is just too small out of that DNS attack but yet its quite big money basing on current Eth price which is $641 that would be still roughly on $137k.
Hacking incidents do really happen and most of the time they do appear when theres a bullish trend or market is on greens. Wink
$17 millions just like an illusion. I'm seeing so many people are talking only one wallet that has used by scammer to scamming through the phishing site. I don't even see any other wallet address related to this scam. DNS hijacked was a classic hacked case. That's happened on so many platforms.
1189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: victims of hackers on: April 25, 2018, 11:15:02 PM
I was just a victim of hacker wallet (MEW), is there any way to overcome it, or find out who this person is, or can we recover what has been stolen .. ?? Sad

You can't do anything because basically, it's permanent and not reversible. Just forget it and it's really difficult to find who is the real actor behind this story because everything in the crypto has encrypted by algo.

Even coincheck can't reveal who was stealing a lot of nem coin after some investigations.
1190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will there be a DAO 2.0 someday? on: April 25, 2018, 11:09:08 PM
In the beginning, there was The DAO which aimed to become a successful Decentralized Autonomous Organization eliminating the middleman, and allowing shareholders (DAO Token Holders) to approve specific projects, etc. However, due to a flaw within its coding, The DAO became hacked and ETH funds were "lost". After that, ETH made a rollback and funds were returned to their rightful owners.

As of today, there's nothing left of The DAO, and quite some time has passed ever since the above events happened. Therefore, my question is whenever The DAO would become resurrected in the future as The DAO 2.0 or not? The idea wasn't bad, but the carelessness of the developers when coding the smart contract without focusing on security, led to such failures.

The DAO 1.0's flaw could become addressed in a new version of it called The DAO 2.0, but it is up to the development team to decide if it will happen or not.

What are your thoughts about this?  Huh
DAO has made ethereum to fork its blockchain to return the ethereum back to the holders again. I guess it will not happen again, as per the majority of people don't even supported Parity fork with the result of NO on the voting process. Honestly, DAO is not ethereum platform's fault.
1191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: While Bitcoin is back to pushing $9,000, some altcoins are doing even better on: April 25, 2018, 12:38:51 AM
Having scaled a long-term bearish trendline, the world's largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization rose to $9,021 at 07:30 UTC - the highest level since March 22, according to CoinDesk's Bitcoin Price Index (BPI). The market capitalization hit a one-month high of $152 billion earlier today and was last seen at $148 billion, according to CoinMarketCap.

But BTC's rally, though impressive, looks flat when compared to the performance of the top 25 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization.

https://www.coindesk.com/testing-10k-bitcoin-price-hits-4-week-high-altcoins-shine

Yes it looks like however volume is low

Lets see will btc pass 9200$
9500$ is max i think

It looks like bitcoin has passed your prediction. It's worth $9650 right now. It's almost 10k again and just the matter of time until it will break 10k again as fast as possible.
if bitcoin will be very close to the 10k rate and i guess there will be a little correction.
1192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shopping using crypto? on: April 24, 2018, 11:55:18 PM
The OP sounds like an add for Zeex, but still, they are providing a very useful service. Myself, I am in the process of obtaining a prepaid credit card, the one you can top via crypto exchanges, so its super easy to spend any potential crypto gains of yours.
That sounds a bit strange in my opinion. I heard about the visacrest problem that makes the old users of pre-paid card can't even do anything with their old card. Have you heard about that?

This just another ads thread for zeex and you're right at that things.
Just curious which exchange sites are giving the ability to the users to spend their crypto directly through their pre-paid credit card and mostly credit card is not allowed again right now.
1193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO will fail due to annoying bounty hunters on telegram? on: April 19, 2018, 09:41:15 AM
I do not know if this is a barometer that can add a success rate of an ICO project to succeed. As we all know that these ICO are promoting also their project on the telegram wherein investors and bounty interact and will make a healthy environment to attract these investors by posting positive comments on the telegram channel. However, the real happenings in the telegram is opposite. The telegram channel are composed only to a lot of annoying bounty hunters that are almost complaining everyday in the telegram channel. Always asking for their stakes without reading the pin messages on the telegram channel. Even the ICO management provide a telegram for bounty hunters but still could not be able to identify which is the bounty chat and the telegram channel for the ICO. So sad that some of the ICO telegram channel have been muted just because of this annoying bounty hunters. How about you do feel the same ?

I think there should be more strict rules about bounty campaigns in general. There special threads here for bounty where you can ask a question and get an answer (as well as you can simply write to bounty manager in DM). I think that spam in telegram chat should lead to excluding such participants from bounty campaign. It will be a lesson for a lot of people - there are different channels for different themes, one should not mix them

Fully agree with you! All questions about bounty campaigns should be posted in appropriate channels, not in main TG chat

So many dumb person without reading the rules and i have seen some of them keep trolling on the main telegram group. But i guess this is will be very important to the bounty managers to kick them all. because they are all piece of shit always disturbing a very good discussion regarding ico. it can be traced through the telegram username and then kicked out.
1194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: April 18, 2018, 05:47:19 AM
This is a good old project with a lot of working funds. I really like decentralized exchanges, I'm sorry that they are not very common, but I'm sure that soon it will change
Yeah of course a lot of funds raised through ico and no product at all, only crap platform with so many shitcoin just like encryptotel and many other. To attract the new hype sasha even try to give promise to build waves smartcontract and what a shame. he can't even stand with their own system.
1195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Future of "Syscoin: Decentralized Marketplace" on: April 18, 2018, 05:44:00 AM
look like syscoin will going to sky soon,, with masternode implementations
but, how many coin we need for masternode ?

I think you will need around 100 000 syscoins to be able to run 1 masternode and you also need to rent a server for something like 20$ a month.

That's awesome amount dude just like dash coin required 1000 coins to able become the masternode. It looks crazy consider the fact that 100k is really huge amount dude.
In my experience i have seen some projects try to provide the same idea with syscon but none of them have done with their product right now. It looks like syscoin too. So many fail decentralized marketplace project.
1196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH v NEO on: April 17, 2018, 02:59:19 AM
For me for me today  I choosing NEO coin why because for me the price is cheaper than etherum. If the coin are cheaper and once the price increase you can get more profit for sure I believe Neo  will increase or doubel the price in the next few months end 2018 and you possible become rich in the future for hold NEO.
i guess you are not aware about the latest situation in the china, as one of the crypto platform in the china and neo is facing so many restriction from the government. And it looks difficult to deal with it in my opinion. Remember NEO developer return all of investor's money. And to predict about the future of NEO doesn't make sense right now.
1197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 150 ETH OR 9.5 BTC? on: April 17, 2018, 02:56:10 AM
150 ETH OR 9.5 BTC?
Almost worth the same value now,  but which one is better for holding untill DEC 2018?
It may better for you to divide your amount into some parts. i guess just put a half to the bitcoin and the rest for ethereum will be much better i think. This time the chart of both cryptocurrencies look the same. I guess ethereum will better consider from its usefulness and future roadmap.
1198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO SCAM worth $660 Million on: April 17, 2018, 02:54:47 AM
These are two multi-level marketing coin. These projects do not bring any benefit to life. Stupid investors are lured into investment projects. Also, for $ 660 million, it's not true, it's a trick that attracts public opinion.
In my opinion this does not affect icos and crypto, there are many good icos projects worth investing, but under current market conditions, this is not a good time to invest icos.
Dumb investors never tried to some effort to get more information about that. i guess that's bullshit and you are right, I remember there are some project already accused as scam project in the reputation section which called their project raised blablabla millions dollar but after real audit by some members in here and they are only raised 1 btc. that's fake amount i suppose.
1199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of ICOs? on: April 16, 2018, 03:02:28 AM
What do you think is future of ICOs? Where do you see this in next 5 years?

I can't say a lot about that but only some of them have interested idea in my opinion. The majority of them just try to make any improvement to the old protocol to increase the usefulness of the old protocol itself but remember it can be done by the old team. They must create such a creative idea just like bitcoin or ethereum.
In another way regulation will be coming soon.
1200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How do I find the next big thing like Bitcoin? on: April 16, 2018, 01:14:46 AM
Hello guys can we please share some  strategy on how to dictect some big trending coin early just like discovering bitcoin in 2014!!!
A new tech, a new revolution, a new idea, Have so many advantages. It's really difficult to say about how you can do that. But you can try to see what will be the target of the project itself just like bitcoin try to build the revolutionary payment which is not controlled by the centralized company or institution which already dominated the financial system.
