1  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BEWARE of Telegram Groups you have been added unwillingly!!!!! on: October 31, 2019, 04:33:01 PM
few times I was added to such groups, and every time I press "leave and report spam" button/
i think this is best behaviour in such cases, also I hope that telegram support bans such channels
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: majority of blockchain project has lost focus on: October 31, 2019, 01:04:53 PM
why many of so-called blockchain projects these days are scammers, is this was motive behind the technology? many real investors are not confident to participate due to fake blockchain projects all over the internet.

what are your views

in my opinion, there is not much real implementation of blockchain in real life..
i know that there is an implementation of blockchain into accounting software and it sound logical
also in some banking..
but in that scam projects the world "blockchain" is used for hype only.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DID I MAKE A MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN? on: October 31, 2019, 01:01:43 PM

The people that invested in bitcoin years ago are the ones enjoying their bitcoin profits for their investment. If you want to make decent profits from your bitcoin investment you need to HODL your bitcoins for a couple of years. Bitcoin investment requires patience, and wisdom toward the market.

well, it is not necessary to be that person form the 2010 when bitcoin was low, cause with little knowledge a wagon of luck and great persistence the one could achieve a lot!
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Living Off-Grid With Bitcoin? on: October 31, 2019, 06:38:01 AM
Is it possible/an advantage to live off-grid with bitcoin?

What I mean by this is living on a rural property, perhaps running a full-node, completely independent from the existing fiat financial system. We want to remove our dependency of the banks and corrupt political establishment entirely.

Obviously, you would need electricity and a computer to run a node and connect to the network. Perhaps bitcoin is not well suited for rural lifestyle or off-grid?

it is possible to do, maybe for 1-2 people, but very difficult for large groups, especially if there are children or teenagers.
they will want to try all sins modern civilization has to offer and your commune will have hard time to resist temptation.
but for oldest people, who made its decision to live off grid deliberately - this is possible.
but I think they still need money to pay for gas, medicine, clothes and so on
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dont break rules while trading on: October 31, 2019, 04:50:01 AM
I only have two rules:

1. Buy low.
2. Sell high.

Unfortunately, I tend to break the rules often. I hope everyone else does better.

Dude, precisely!
the only question though, is to determine if this the right moment to sell/to buy.
usually if the market is calm it is pretty easy ( study the charts and you should be good in guessing)
but if the market is in storm, well... the risk is high then..
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are People Losing Interest with Bitcoin? on: October 31, 2019, 04:44:07 AM
Checking the market dominance of Bitcoin will reveal that Bitcoin is rather gaining much attention than losing attention. It is the basic cryptocurrency on the market governments and large institutions look up to when cryptocurrency is mentioned. Based on the movement and activities of Bitcoin on the market is what these governments draw conclusions concerning the entire crypto space.
I have noticed one funny thing, if bitcoin is in a flat state, there is low media coverage, no hype, no body cares
but if there some price's spikes - immediate media coverage, experts of all sorts saying their vision..
then everyone forgets about bitcoin again, till sudden price change  Grin
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dont break rules while trading on: October 30, 2019, 09:42:04 AM
how about use of Technical Analyses? some traders say this thing is very helpful. almost like voodoo stuff)))
and I think every person has its own rules.. for trades or investment..
and what worked well for you may not be good for another person because of several reasons : like knowledge base, temper, mentality and so on
but anyway, thank you for sharing

9  Economy / Economics / Re: So much for cashless society: cash is gaining in popularity on: October 30, 2019, 06:01:43 AM
in general cashless society is good for global government. easy to see all financial flows for export, import, purchases, taxes.
and for total control of any society.. but cash can allow you to be unnoticed ( for a time )
I think that current situation when both systems are in work - is perfect!
10  Other / Archival / Re: Is KYC benefit to crypto people or not on: October 30, 2019, 05:34:38 AM

The current KYC process is very crude and it creates a lot of risk for the exchange users and the ICO investors. First of all, the users are forced to send the scanned copy of their passports or national ID cards to completely unknown people, sometimes with shady credentials. There is no guarantee that these documents won't be misused. Also, this process needs to be repeated again and again. Every time an user wants to invest in an ICO or register to an exchange, he needs to undergo this process.

There should be a central authority to process the KYC information and this should be set up by someone with good reputation, such as Kaspersky or Symantec. If such an authority is created, then the users may feel safe about their personal information and they will be spared from the need to undergo this pesky process every now and then.

well, what can I say, you are correct that current implementation of KYC is far from ideal and I think that industry will invent the standard which will be suitable for regulators, customer and exchanges..
no idea what time it will take, but it will be done, and then I hope KYC process will be easier for us.
it is understood, already that regulators will require KYC all the time ((
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it WORTH investing ALTS RIGHT NOW? on: October 29, 2019, 04:11:40 PM
if you ask me about my opinion, I say that you need to buy bitcoin about $7000 level for investment
I think soon it will go down again.. that green candle is a temporary one.
12  Other / Archival / Re: Is KYC benefit to crypto people or not on: October 29, 2019, 12:39:43 PM
actually I think the best way is to make one time KYC procedure for huge volumes operations with crypto
if the daily volume do not exceed determined amount  - KYC is not required..
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin freelancing is dead? on: October 29, 2019, 09:38:09 AM
i think that the problem and the reason is not the way people get paid, by cash or by bitcoin, the market itself, the meta has changed.
now I think outsourcing is the king of the jungle and that is very different story with it  own way of negotiations, payments and so on..

16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin beat Bank interest rates and inflation. :-> on: October 29, 2019, 06:01:48 AM
this is very tricky info, cause you know very well, that your bank could be the winner, if we the coins you sold, were purchased in 2017..
and basically all 2019 almost all coins were in red zone..
so you are really lucky person and I'm glad for you that you made solid profit from your sale..
as for me, I do not have any deposits, but some good trades also brought me some cash..
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it Possible To Mine Bitcoin with Supercomputer? on: October 28, 2019, 06:00:40 PM
taking into account that almost supercomputers uses some special versions of linux, and quite a lot of coins have source open
I think it is possible to recompile wallet and miner as well and run it  Roll Eyes
those Russians.. I wonder why they did not hack American super computers and mine coins there  Grin Grin
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency usage will boost economy or make it worst ? on: October 28, 2019, 01:08:30 PM
there are different opinions about crypto and how it is affecting economy
one say that this is bad, cause it is burning money or burning electricity for mining farms
other say - it helps to withdrawal from economy bad speculative money, also it helps to generate GDP, cause even those mining farms are buying electricity, and that mean growth of trade.
so which one side you are closer - this is the choice you have to make
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin volatility here to stay? on: October 28, 2019, 10:26:13 AM
very bright example of bitcoin volatility we saw yesterday.
while almost whole market were expected bitcoin to go down to like 6500 line, it burst out to 10 000  Shocked
so answer to your question, yeap, it is gonna stay.

20  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin using or need! Vs stable coins on: October 28, 2019, 09:53:13 AM
nowadays there are a lot of troubles with us dollars money transfers between companies.
maybe it is because of sanctions or money clearance, or weapons traders or I do not what ever more reasons exist, but the problem is there
you may give to bank all necessary invoices and papers, make the transfer and wait 1 month money to come to other party!! One, damn, month!
I guess to counter such cases - people may have to need bitcoin!
