very strange pumping behaviour by bitcoin by the way funny thing is that just before this little pump started I red a message from some telegram groups that according to TA bitcoin will not break 6950$ mark, cause it is very strong resistance.. and here we go few hours later btc is up 11%.. all this TA stuff do not work with crypto  |

Of course not! quite sure of it! there is no need. and taking into account etherium will jump off POW train this year, there would a HUGE numbers of used amd rx card on the market with very low pricing, i'm quite sure of it.

My greatest moment was about two or three month ago, when I mined with my amd rig IPBC coin in a launch date and mined about 90k of coins. then in a month I saw it on exchange ant he price was more then 1k satoshi, I sold 30% of my holdings, and then the price humped 4x times ))) I sold all! so one day of mining give me the very good profit!

I read a lot of replies from comrades that this is not possible, the mb in is not working
however I wonder if it possible to do trick it? I have asrock AB350 pro mainboard, on Nvidia card is supports only 3 of them ( while for amd you can start 6 cards) but I trick it through pci-e 1x to 4x extension. so now it runs 6x nvdida cards)

No idea what was happened with your rig, this is amd. I noticed that with amd cards can happened anything.
so it might be a bug of miner or bug in the driver.. but physically that kind of speed is not possible with rx470/480 .. so.. I don't know)

Taking into account that amd cards have some shortage, it is really very bold to announce device based on chips you can't buy.. also new version or new generation of cards could be released by amd which again can hit source of chip... highly likely those asics will have a special chip.. imho

What's the deal exactly with this I want to thank the XMR devs for standing on their ground and declaring a war on ASIC miners, hope devs from other mineable projects also show some disrespect towards the ASICS. asics could be I guess be OKish if there were only small numbers of them for free market, but I know this is not gonna to happen ever and all these manufacturers just killing the models they produce, and the more Asics they sell, the faster they kill it, cause the diff is going high fast, roi is going down even faster... |

I'd say go with amd ryzen x7 1700 or newer version, mb choose higher version with 6 pci-e slots. The 8 cores ryzen can push about 580-700 h/s in cryptonigt which is really nice speed. I think if cpu will mine all the time while rig is working, it will ROI itself and maybe MB cost. which is a nice bonus!

Dude, your IP address has nothing to do with the problems of your miner, IP address is needed if you want to configure payments amounts or time when payments will be proceed on the pool side.
but pool knows and recognize you through your ETH address which you save in the bat file for claymor miner

no because the results are not same for everyone, same cards with different straps can do +-200hs even more. So there is no exact number, you have to try yourself. really?! such a huge difference?! cause 200 hs it is about 20-25% difference? hm, ok I will try it myself cause I have modded bios in my rx570 so I will compare and will post the result here cause, you know, sorry, but still can't believe in 200 h/s difference between same cards))) |

all markets are down now, not only crypto.. stocks markets as well..
I think this is the part or something huge, like a full scale crisis..
it is not fun at all, if this is true, but we are general folks paying some games in crypto.. and I think big whales now have decided already how 2018 will go..
maybe there is no place for high btc price in this year..

You don't have to choose if you can have them both. But when the time comes that if affected you in a bad wayday I think it's better to let go of crypto. Life with a permanent job is irreplaceable especially if you will replace it by crypto. Remember that crypto is just a way to have extra income and to make a living here is still uncertain.
completely agree here, no need to reject the job nor crypto! i'm sure you can handle both! a lot of people can do it, i mean handle both ) for example you can do the job full time, and on evening or early morning do some trading, yeah, maybe profits would be less, but full time real job is more important and safe. |

I think there is not enough power and your psu just shutdowns
because sometimes amd settings for downvolting are not applying. and it necessary to move the clock slider in afterburner and then hit apply and here we go voltage is now correct, so maybe you could check there?

So I have an idea, maybe you have to change the battery on mainboard and the second suggestion is to update the bios, if that wont't work, then it is clearly the broken mainboard and you have to change by warranty

My guess would be that this behavior is somehow connected to the riser. not the driver.
I had something like that before, when I was connecting to one of my rigs by rdp, one of card was boosting too much, and miner hanged. it was cured with the change of the riser..
