524  Economy / Gambling / Re: PrimeDice.com | The New Way to Roll | 1% House | Instant Betting | Free BTC on: May 19, 2013, 05:07:49 PM
Confirming the payout the remainder of the 200 BTC cashout to Bitcoinm. Congratulations, again. Smiley (And for anyone reading this & didn't read the prior pages: I did offer to pay it out straight away but Bitcoinm was adamant that I have a bit more time incase other large bettors come).

Oh and I had to unwillingly take a 10 BTC "tip".. Didn't have much choice since he kept sending it back haha. So thanks for that, I guess.

Does E. Voorhees have a competitor in the making...?
525  Economy / Auctions / ASICMiner Shares - Fixed Price Auction on: May 19, 2013, 03:16:04 PM
I have 30 ASICMiner shares, going for a fixed price of 2.1/share. Seeing as friedcat has starting taking payments for USB miners, that means shipping out soon (10k USBs = 0.05/share). These will include the dividend payouts of Wed, May 22nd. John K will serve as escrow. It will be first come, first serve basis.

Auction Ends:

Approx. time left:

Let the bids begin!
526  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How long before Gox gets Dwolla back? on: May 19, 2013, 04:41:07 AM
MtGox is never brining Dwolla back.

This isn't just a little white lie. MtGox would have to register as a money transmitter in all 50 states. Plus it costs $25 million dollars and they have to have insurance for all the moeny they transmit.

It's never going to happen. Don't wait around for it.

MtGox is going to lost a lot of customers if that's the case. They still dictate the market value but for how long...?
527  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to buy asic miner shares? on: May 19, 2013, 04:26:45 AM
They pay every Wednesday. I highly suggest viewing this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=159194.0

I was also thinking Coinbase might be a better choice.  Didn't know about the other options.  Thanks much!

Coinbase isn't horrible, you just have to wait a week to get your coins... They also have heavy restrictions for new users (10 BTC max), don't respond that often to emails, and other things. But other than that....
529  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: May 19, 2013, 04:05:17 AM
This thread has slowly turned into a speculator troll box.

I hope Friedcat does something about it, like having an AM website / forum !!!

Official AM website: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=49840;sa=showPosts  Wink

Is there a way to notifications when a user posts? Want to be able to get those notifications sent in email, then into SMS.
530  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Satoshi Dice on: May 19, 2013, 04:01:19 AM
Guys, I should have mentioned last night (but I was real tired & not thinking straight) that I lost all my money on SatoshiDice and thought that I wouldnt be able to get more coins till Monday.  Cos i am over in Australia where the only way to buy BTC is to go to the bank.   But I found a new website that lets you buy BTC 24/7 !!!

If you are in Australia, hit up buybitcoinaustralia.com.au  it is the cheapest price I could find, but more importantly, it doesnt require going to the bank in business hours.

It's not my place but you gotta know when to stop buddy. Look to invest in BTC stocks and assets (imo).
531  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [NEW] BitInstant Beta on: May 19, 2013, 03:00:30 AM
Oops, looks like it is 1.5m and not 1.3.

Yeah, saw the dropdown..

If they can honor the prices of MtGox, convenience of Coinbase, the functionality of BIPS.me, and speed (before the crazy price variances and heavy traffic) of old BitInstant, we may have something special on our hands..
532  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [NEW] BitInstant BETA on: May 19, 2013, 02:50:44 AM
They got funded 1.3 mil. Hope they do some expansion outside US as well apart frm RUS.

Article regarding Winklevoss investing the 1.3 million here.

It looks like it. If you click on "Sell Bitcoins" and click the drop down, it does give you a small list of countries.
533  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [NEW] BitInstant BETA on: May 19, 2013, 02:47:09 AM
With features like ACH, Instant Debit Transfer, and etc., it's getting the best of all worlds. I know that people like the anonymity of cash deposits, bank wires, and money orders but the convenience of direct deposit really does appeal to the "casuals."
534  Economy / Service Discussion / [NEW] BitInstant BETA on: May 19, 2013, 02:40:13 AM
Have any folks gotten into the new BitInstant Beta? Things are looking promising with the new changes.

The New BitInstant

Seeing as it's in closed beta, would like to hear some thoughts on those that have gotten in.

535  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: May 19, 2013, 02:24:14 AM
Really? Because you can move out of the PTs to direct for free, and have better access to liquidity when in a PT. So I'm not sure why direct shares would go at a premium.

Both Burnside and DeaDTerra are trustworthy here, they have proven that here. But it's just another layer of potential liability. For me, the minor price bump is worth having direct shares thru friedcat.

Again, both are professionals and handle their assets just fine.
536  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: May 19, 2013, 02:11:53 AM
oh man if rastapool cancelled the auction they would be soooo burned...

more likely that the price jumps above the PTs...

As they should, these are direct shares with friedcat himself. You even get confirmation satoshis! That itself bears a premium (more than the satoshi itself).

It would not look good for rastapool and from words that I've exchanged with him, he does not seem like that kind of person.
538  Economy / Speculation / Re: $1,000,000 for a Bitcoin? on: May 19, 2013, 01:26:45 AM
no, bitcoin will never reach $1M.  and i am never wrong.

The logic behind this point is overwhelming...

Very useful! Thanks!

lol +cointip Franktank 10uPPC

Thanks but I didn't make the image; that was done by someone else earlier in the week. It felt appropriate to repost it, regarding the current state of ASICMiner.
