Quite the action with today's share sales, any reasons why?

I'm sure this will be seen as negative, but I'm not really fussed about ASICMiner being back on a share/stock exchange.
I would agree. There are the two passthroughs on the two stock exchanges if there are individuals who prefer that method. Personally, I think there's a novel appeal to scouring the Marketplace forums for AM shares. It forces potential buyers to research and see what they're getting into. It also encourages interaction and knowing who you're dealing with, as opposed to just clicking "buy/sell" (which are perfectly fine methods as well). These are all positives (imo). Until there is an official platform, I think the current method is a fine stop-gap for the time being. |

Hello,
Requesting a 3 BTC Loan for 3 Days, will payback 3.15 BTC once my Coinbase order goes through (Thurs, Mar 21 @ 7:00PM CDT). I do have collateral if needed (45 ASICMiner shares, can be confirmed via friedcat). Will even show the Coinbase Trans ID if requested, PM if interested.

Perhaps this might not be the place for it but how does the "fork" affect ASICMiner? Or doesn't even do anything? Or am I just riffing and don't know what I'm talking about?

Is an ASICMiner share any different from one that is in a PT? friedcat mentioned they would make one eventually. Dividends are paid out the same, right?

That's only if your shares are through BTC-TC, mine are ASICMiner shares that were bought through forum auctions. I could have friedcat verify them if needed but he is a busy man.

well its fair. you're very new AND asking for a $1600 loan.  Fair enough, I probably was biting more off than I could chew with an initial loan request of 40 BTC. I will probably just go with what I can afford out of pocket for now and not request a loan. I'll go with smaller loan amounts for future requests to establish my account here first. By the way, is there a service for holding collateral should you decide to request a loan? I have BTC stocks that could potentially be used as collateral if I should request a future BTC loan.
