You sold too soon, share value has increased 50% to 100% value since the auction announcement.

As of 7:00 AM CST:

BTCT - 1.75 BTC/share
BF - 1.25 BTC/share

Plus today being dividend day, Wednesday is off to a damn good start!

Sold some @ 1.60 as well ! Keep selling higher and higher Smiley

Even at current prices, AM shares are still undervalued (imo). Curious to see what the prices will be like once they've stabilized, which won't be for a while with all the incoming new sources of revenue.
662  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: April 17, 2013, 11:59:42 AM
Btc-tc last trades were @ 1.45.

That would be me !

Selling that is  Wink

It still means total hashrate will be around 300 TH..... either because they are mining with them themselves.... or because their customers are....

So that means 300 TH without BFL in about 2 - 3 months time

For those curious:

Update
...If we get the 60TH/s online (conservative) in late April, and the hashrate of the full network from that time is 200TH/s which linearly increases to 1,000TH/s in late December...Some may say that 1,000TH/s in the end of this year is too conservative...

No, I'm muslim, I don't lend money/coins for profit. It's trading for me then.

Very well, all the information is in here and in the main thread. In my opinion, now is the time to buy AM shares if you don't want to pay over 1 BTC/share.

So can I say "Called it!" or no...?

Thought I would ask first.

Just in case anyone was living under a rock, share value at an all time high.

As of 5:26 AM CST:

BCTC - 1.25/share
BF - 1.1/share

What if ASICMINER goes through a Bitcoin-style bubble and hits 10 BTC each? Wink

*fervently knocks on wood*

Secret rocket is taking off!

Glad I picked up a dozen more shares this morning @ 0.805. Much higher than what I bought the bulk of my shares for, but obviously I got some of the last hugely under-priced ASICMINER shares available. If we actually start significantly boosting our hasing power next week and shipping devices soon, the 1.6BTC ask price right now on BTC-TC will sound like a bargain.   Grin

Well, there's been an announced 262 TH/s so far that friedcat can either sell or mine with. Seeing if there is more hashing power in the pipe that has yet to be mentioned.
668  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER for dummies? on: April 17, 2013, 04:15:11 AM
ASICMINER hardware sales have kicked off.

Having an ASIC device clearly gives one the edge in the mining landscape but prices are getting crazy now...

Secret rocket is taking off!

Well, folks had their chance of buying shares sub 1 BTC/share. Come on April 22nd!!

Man, getting expensive already.

1 @ 32

I thought my bid was within the range but man, you guys can have them.   Are people actually doing calculations on the profitability?   When you are talking $1500.00 profit in 90 days with more hashing coming online, seems to be really risky.   I know we are all excited about these but dang  Wink

As a shareholder, it only gets better with higher prices. What you have to keep in mind is these device will arrive sooner than Avalon batch 2 (for some folks). While they're only a fraction of the power, you get these right away. With Avalon batch 2 resells going so high, this isn't too unexpected.
671  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: April 16, 2013, 11:46:00 PM
Making a series of unrealistic assumptions here, but let's go:

They have 200TH+50TH+12TH coming in the near future. Put it all in 10 GH/s blades, and they have 26200 devices to sell. At 26 BTC a piece (current highest bid), that is 681200 BTC in total - or 1.703 BTC per share.

If they all sell at 25, BTC250 spread across 400k shareholders is mBTC0.625 per share.

Last dividend was 0.00695566 (if you include the 1 satoshi per share), or mBTC6.95566

So, no idea what the profit margin on these things is - let's say it's 75% at this price (don't forget, shipping is included).

Which means the proceeds of this sale will produce a once-off 15% bump in dividends.

So the question now is - how many of these things do we have to sell, once the auction is over (and presumably the auction price will become the "normal" price).

They're not going to sell all the TH/s. friedcat specifically stated that they were going to keep the majority of it to ensure maximum profit for shareholders. See last update.
672  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: April 16, 2013, 02:45:12 PM
we will see on 22nd when the deployment should start

Deployment will start? Did they fix the network- and powerproblems or will it be fixed then?

Here's friedcat's update:

Update

Deploying
At the same time waiting for the new place's power supply system and our second batch's assembly, we have tested the fully enclosed rack approach, which turned out to be denser and has better cooling over the devices.

The projected earliest date to start installing new hardware and releasing brand new hashrates is 22th this month. The whole deploying process will take at least two weeks, with the final hashrate decided by how much we are going to sell to consumers and how much we will keep for ourselves.

People don't realize that March was full of highs, April is to compensate for that. Sooner or later, the price will slingshot and those who sold will get left behind.
675  Economy / Speculation / Re: Thank you everybody on: April 16, 2013, 03:15:58 AM
Uh...um...what? You're saying that it's good idea to get more bitcoins AND and hold them long term? Until the price rises?

This post is making too much sense...

That's OK for people that holds coins from earlier time, not really for us later adopters, it's pretty risky to invest at current prices for something that would need 2+ years to make roi.

I'd probably enter if it is 0.02 per share, unfortunately not at 0.007 as much as I would like. That USB stuff looks promising but shares went up after it's announced so it canceled lot of it's potential.

Yes but it was the "early adopters" that took on that risk. Board members basically spent 500 BTC ($6500 at the time) for 5k shares. They could easily cash out for $300k now. Whether you think it's expensive or not, is up to you. friedcat has followed through with his previous announcements and the upcoming ones will definitely raise share prices.

If you looked at my links, you'd realize that the 0.007/share is only temporary.
678  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER for dummies? on: April 15, 2013, 02:36:12 PM
Wow, are these dividends going to be any higher, 0.007 is pretty low, it's 13-14 months of current share prices

As someone who's invested in ASICMINER for the dividends, not the "capital growth", a rush of share buying for the purposes of securing a discount on miniminer units (do they even have a real name yet?)

Satoshi Stick(s)? Pool Qs? Hash Bar(s)?  Cheesy

Guys, come on... It's going to be called iMiner or iHasher or even iASIC.

"From the maker's of ASICMiner, we now bring you iMiner. A resolutionary new device...."
