341  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: July 20, 2013, 07:57:09 PM
I just can't figure how you could forget having ASICMINER shares. Did you leave the Bitcoin community for a few months and hid under a rock?

I dunno but maybe things like DYING or other life changing events cause one to not redeem those shares, food for thought.

On a more serious note, I'm sure friedcat will make a formal announcement regarding the unaccounted shares. I believe it would be in Sept/Oct that makes it one year after GLBSE shut down? They'll say "We've given shareholders one year to claim those shares..."

Got some news
1.The will be a delay due to the issues of  New&Mini blade's power supply.Kind like 30th,this month.
2.And there will be a fixed price.Of course, you can get refund for the pre-order.

Can this news be confirmed? Nice to get some but if only rumors...
343  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: July 20, 2013, 02:29:53 AM
cause Friedcat is a sellout and a burnout

Careful son, you're gonna get lynched. Granted, this doesn't mean much coming from an AMC investor.
344  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: July 19, 2013, 01:11:08 AM
The only buy-back clause, in either the current or the original OP, made no mention of 7 day average price and was only for the condition not being able to raise enough money before August. 28, 2012. Unless someone provides a link, we can probably assume that stan.distortion didn't recall correctly.

Even if there ever was a buy-back, I'm sure Friedcat would exceed expectations/over-deliver as usual.

Unlike S. Dice, AM shares have voting power. Granted BitFountain does have over 51% of all shares but it's the thought that counts, right?
345  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER Speculation Thread on: July 18, 2013, 03:45:27 PM
Yeah, could be. I hope FC does an update this week, but I'm not holding my breath.

Good because there's no correlation with asphyxiation and increasing share prices.
346  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER Speculation Thread on: July 18, 2013, 03:25:16 PM
With the new SD money and the big buy at 4.61, I can see us going over 4.8 today, guys.  If we get a FC update, then 5.0+.

348  Economy / Lending / Re: [50/200]NASTY MINING: 500GH/s Miner Loan on: July 18, 2013, 04:03:13 AM
Wait, you want an interest-free loan?

Yes, could you clarify terms/incentives why folks may want to consider this? If lenders are getting only 0.25 per 10 BTC, it may be difficult to fulfill the amount...

Necro-bumping for recent developments, discuss.

351  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: July 17, 2013, 07:45:51 AM
news:   ASICMINER will announce new mining machines.

ASICMINER is developing a new model of mining machine. It's said the new model is kind like Avalon, at 100+Gh/s. AM will announce their new products after the software is ready. AM also has a new usb miner plan, and the number will be very very big.

As much as shareholders want this to be true, it's just a rumor until a board member confirms or friedcat says so. Hold steady boys...
352  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: July 17, 2013, 05:55:05 AM
Just ran the numbers. ASICMiner has been solomining since 5/20 (roughly 75 orphan blocks in). Here is the breakdown of those 75 orphans:....
Would you be so kind and also calculate the number of solved and accepted blocks? This will give an indication of how large the percentage effect is. If it's around 2000 blocks the orphan rate is about 1%, which puts things in perspective.

353  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase: Instant Transactions on: July 17, 2013, 02:18:40 AM
Coinbase isn't meant for the day trader (unless you have multiple accounts). As a verified Level 2 user, you have the option for cashing out a modest sum of Bitcoins. The 1% "high fee" trade off is not dealing with wires.
If you consider yourself a "power user," check out other exchanges but Coinbase does a good job of opening Bitcoins to casual users.
354  Economy / Service Discussion / Coinbase: Instant Transactions on: July 16, 2013, 02:58:48 PM
Would like to garner some feedback with their new feature. Now that you get your Bitcoins "immediately," will you use them?Have you purchased coins from them post-July 11 (as a Lvl 2 user)? There are some that intensely dislike the identity verification process but it does open Bitcoin to the general public. Thoughts?
355  Other / Archival / Re: btt on: July 13, 2013, 03:36:13 AM
bASIC isn't designing next gen chips or selling hardware. With that said, creative has done a great job with the asset.

...actually I do have some GPUs if you're interested. Grin Thank you Frank, kind of you to say.

Dear God...

AM (the real one) better start watching their back!
356  Other / Archival / Re: btt on: July 13, 2013, 03:23:54 AM
Oh I feel ashamed for doing this, but I can resist:

Yes, the stock price is still rising (like a chicken some would say). I did recommend BASIC-MINING to serveral of friends who want to invest in BTC, and I'm still filling the buy order, hoping to grab some cheap shares while I can.

AM is overvalued at the moment IMHO, it will probably be a good time to buy back when it will fall below 2 (this is pure speculation but I don't think it will stay above 2 forever).

On the other hand you have BASIC-MINING, with imminent delivery of >60 GH/s, and the same 2-3 months later, for a bit more than 3000 shareholders. And I'm pretty sure the price for each share can go well above 1.0 while I don't see AM much over 2.0 in the long run.

Time will tell :-)

My "friends" seem very happy with my advice now Wink

Attn daytraders: sometimes, all it takes is a calculator, reading the contract, reading the forum topic, computing on the spreadsheet and try to make an investment for the long term...

Yes, the 1:10 stock split definitely had an even deeper psychological impact than I thought!

You're right on bASIC's price gain but incorrect about AM's drop. It's still above 4 BTC/share. Keep in mind, AM's (the real one) market cap is magnitudes larger. bASIC isn't designing next gen chips or selling hardware. With that said, creativex has done a great job with the asset.
357  Other / Archival / Re: btt on: July 13, 2013, 03:07:09 AM
For speculation's sake:

Those that bought bASIC 6 months ago for 0.25 - 0.3 BTC/share (and held them) saw 30x growth. While AM (the real one) "only" saw 10x growth in that timeframe, going from .5 to 5 BTC/share. This has to be a result of the share split, right? Or am I missing something?

359  Economy / Securities / Re: SANDSTORM: - A Collective Investment Vehicle for BTC. - on: July 12, 2013, 05:24:05 AM
It's OK, the people who are dumb enough to invest into this "investment vehicle" is dumb enough to to pay 20x IPO.

Hopefully this will dissuade people from investing without doing due diligence.

What if you soul purpose of purchasing was the fact that your due diligence said this would happen with this IPO and your thought process was to hold it for less then 4 minutes.

Looks like we got ourselves a smartass here...
