1002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vote for best [Suspicious link removed]pany 2016 by cointelegraf! on: December 22, 2016, 03:00:37 PM
You're definitely taking the time to bash around which brings us to the question of your motives to spend so much time bashing Leocoin and people around this coin...  Huh

Are you trying to be some kind of forum hero or just promoting something else?

While at it and while acting smart please explain how are you smarter then people that make 60-70 000$ volume of trade per day with Leocoins?

It's clearly visible here:

http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/leocoin/#markets

Multiply this volume by 30 days and it's a lot of money invested and no one is complaining...

So if all these people were scammed somehow wouldn't you agree that by now some authorities would react? Like with OneCoin...

Your bashing should be backed up by facts and not speculation in order to bring some weight to it...

Don't take my word for it guys just research up on the coin.
I posted a couple links earlier where you can see it all for yourself and be the judge.

I encourage everyone to see WHO is behind this coin.

I will tell you.. PRO MLM scammers !
These are the type that were doing this scammy crap far before crypto coins existed.
So now that they got wind of this shit they foamed at the mouth and piled in.

LEOcoin is simply a part of a massive LEO scam operation by Dan and friends.
They have a LEOcafe and a LEOtower and a LEOphone and a LEOexchange and on and on.

They also have DVD's for the Multi level Marketing scheme program "reviewed" in 2014.
See the link to that site on the Scam topic i posted here earlier.

Not only that but i pointed out a few times how the large premine was unaccounted for..
The OP here refuses to comment on that no matter how many times he questioned about it too.

The question is what part of all this is not shady ?

There has been soooo many fraudulent and highly sketchy decetful claims.
And the only response we have all gotten is "Trolls" or.. games from the guy running the ANN account.

These guys should be in a LEOjail cell.  Cheesy

EDIT:

Do a Google image search for "LEOcoin" like i did then start following the leads it gives you.
You will all be surprised how more there is here going on..

After you buy your LEOdvd's make sure to buy a LEOphone !

..and yeah the LFON4 is already out too  Cheesy

Too late for "Bitcon" ? the lion says.. buy LeoCON !

Oh and don't miss your chance the LEObook is on sale now !! BUY BUY BUY !!! Don't miss out !

Newbie account ...
Spoetnik revealed also some fake accounts made by LEO and his friends, i really do believe that he is true because i had also the possibility to check these infos while i was reading the forum's posts, and i noticed how newbie accounts like to talk about LEO Cheesy and they all use strenge account names, LuckyLuke55 ... Nah, really men (or girl ??) you can't just comme in and talk about volume, it is the easiest thing to fake here, and doesn't mean it is an investment, it can be either faked by the dev, traders, whalers, bots, exchange owners .... it is not a true indicator.
Now, it is sure that regarding the merchandising around this coin there is something suspicious, and i would never pay 150£ for a seminar, nor X £ for a stupid book, because a guy i never heard about args that it will lead me to success. I don't need anyone to tell me how to succeed, i do it myself.
1003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will raise the Altcoin Index? on: December 22, 2016, 02:47:51 PM
Bitcoin trend is the opposite trend for the all of the altcoin, if the bitcoin will be having a new price and soon all of the altcoin have needed to adapt to such condition. Bitcoin is the root of all alt in this time, bitcoin can be disturbing itself anytime.

I don't think so, Altcoins tend to get independent of Bitcoin, the main reason is that these technologies are completly different, you can't judge an altcoin like you would do for Bitcoin.
Have a look at Ripple, the price is around 1k satoshi for 1 XRP, there are 15 Billion XRP holded mainly by the central autority, it means that roughly the Rippl's market cap is 150k BTC, does it means something for them ? i don't think so, and it is the same thing for all legit altcoins.
You can compare Bitcoin with other SHA256 cryptocurrencies meant to be used in the same way, like IXcoin hwo has been abandoned by the miners because of 0 block reward, and stuck at a verry high diff, this may be the next issue the bitcoin will have to face, and here, you can compare both of these coins.
Don't do the mistake to compare Bitcoin with ETH/ETC or NXT or WAVE, it is not the same at all.
1004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Uh, you might want to start buying some Litecoins... on: December 22, 2016, 02:27:55 PM

You are right, but not only, it looks like that other cartons are bigger then the innosilicon ones, regarding the amount, it can surely hold more then 50 miners, just look at the fans, they are so huge, these 50 miners are only the first delivery, they will get more. Now i don't think this guy is a billionaire, because he would have done these in an other way, or maybe he is just testing ...
1005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Uh, you might want to start buying some Litecoins... on: December 22, 2016, 12:46:58 PM
It would be interesting to have some pics once they finish the building, as of now, the infrastructure is not suitable to start mining, and maybe they are buying miners by lot, instead of buying 100 at ones, then they buy by 10 or 20, it is easyer for the manufacturer to handle, and as they still have a lot of work to prepare the rooms for the miners, then they still have a lot of time to buy the miners.
These rooms are not clean, so, you can't mine efficiently.
1006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vote for best blockchain company 2016 by cointelegraf! on: December 22, 2016, 12:42:15 PM
Very funny, maybe http://bitcoinprbuzz.com has been paid by leocoin to deliver some tricky "vote", i know that a lot of blockchain driven projects here are largely more famous than LeoCoin, it is really funny to see that only 2 projects are listed there.
Maybe spoetnik is true, and leo is a scam (i agree about some points with him) but i don't know why such an irrelevant vote, and i never heard about it. Anyway, funny info Cheesy
1007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why now many emerging new coin? on: December 22, 2016, 12:37:15 PM
The reason why there are so many new coins is that the best way to actually develop a project, is to release a project bound to a coin in order to get founds to pay for the development. Usually we call this a start-up and it calls for external funding using CFC or IPO to get the required funds, and then if they are able to realise the project then the company is bought by some big company, and then they continiue to develop further the project.
Now in the cryptocoin world, it differs, when you create a coin, you must organise the distribution of it, release some beta for the potencial investors to test the product, and then you list in an exchange with a premade ICO or PRE-ICO if you need funds to get listed or to host the project. And then, when they are listed, most of the coins get dumped because of the premine sale, this is normal because the developers must rise funds for the development, and here is the difference, either they leave the project wich turns to a scam, or, they continiue and then the price slowly rises again depending on their activity.
1008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ARCO] AquariusCoin | scrypt PoW/PoS | NO premine | on: December 22, 2016, 12:28:01 PM
Adam just told me that he's having problems with pulling prices from https://www.cryptonator.com/api/ticker/arco-btc and advised me to add ARCO on http://cryptocoincharts.info/. It looks we will have some delay with the hosting service. I already contacted the owner... see what happens.

The link of the api is working, do you have more details ? maybe we can help. May i ask why they require to be registered in cryptocoincharts ?
1009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Maidsafe is future! on: December 22, 2016, 12:26:17 PM
I had a look at maidsafe project, frankly i doubt they will achieve their goals. If they do so, i wonder how the safe websites will work if someone shuts off his computer while lending power and space to the website. The project itself is nice, it would be the born of a new kind of network, like bitcoin and onion did, but still, many questions are pending for answers ...

Simple, multiple copies of the data exist, and when one copy goes offline another is created.

man, maidsafe project is not just a coin..this project is runing from 2006! its so big, they go slow..but when they will go live i hope in next weeks..then its will be huge...we all will love it...big companys will use it when they will see its trusted for use!

Did I read it right 2006 or you just mistype it,if this is true it will be very easy for them to set up adoption since they are already here for ten years, they should have made a lot of loyal customers by now.

Who we are

Started in 2006 by Scottish engineer David Irvine, MaidSafe is a small team, comprised of: thinkers, inventors, tinkerers, PHDs, engineers and designers. Although based in Troon, Scotland, we have drawn talents from many different cultures and countries, reflecting the users that we serve. Despite this variety, we all share a mission: a desire to provide security and privacy for everyone.

https://maidsafe.net/company.html

Maidsafe project is indeed older than bitcoin, but there is a big difference between a project starting and having actual software. As far as I know, maidsafe didn't had any software in 2008 back when bitcoin was initially released in its most ancient version, so i wouldn't say that this is something that's remarkable, it's nice to say "my project is older than bitcoin" but what matters is who had the functional software first and satoshi had it first.
In open source it doesn't matter who has it first. What's important is how it's facilitated, and the Maidsafe guys look to be successfully integrating it. As another poster said MAID is touching cloth of $0.10. Well worth a punt.

You guys are still bound to the price of a coin to determine the project's success ! If they are really working since 2006, it means that after 11 years ( lets say we are in 2017) they did nothing ! What they are actually doing is not really an improvement, i downloaded the wallet, tested the demo app, and, really it is nothing. They just ping and broadcast using your account name, if you want to know how they do it, try to host a website from home using your own domain name, it is the same thing, and they took more than 10 years to do it, this project will never be delivered !
1010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [*] 8BIT [Dark Masternodes][Anon][Roadmap Stage 4] on: December 22, 2016, 11:10:34 AM
I will be back on Monday.

Khm... which Monday..?

Blue one or manic one - you pick.
Not publishing update yet as we are still testing new code - currently on the third testnet.

Interesting, i just would like to ask if there is a way to speed up the block download rather then use the bootstrap. Maybe something can be done regarding masternodes ? Is it possible to have an overall check list of what had been done, and what is still to be done ?
1011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency [ICO Live] on: December 21, 2016, 11:10:54 PM
Quote
OP is claiming "We use different deposit address for investors who buy ICO coins, there is not a single deposit address in use to deposit BTC" yet, on the page "https://bitconnect.co/user/coin" there is one address posted for all investors to send to.

Even if there WERE multiple dep. addresses, you'd still be able to provide proof, at least of high btc transactions/"investments".

If we update the deposit address, how you can verify that this is correct address or fake? try to buy some coins from ICO site and check yourself that the statistic on the website is real time.

wow...... Roll Eyes

bitconnect could very easily prove that they actually own that deposit address.

quoting from https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Address

Most Bitcoin wallets have a function to "sign" a message, proving the entity receiving funds with an address has agreed to the message. This can be used to, for example, finalise a contract in a cryptographically provable way prior to making payment for it.

i would like to point to the fact that it is useless to start an argument warabout wether it is scam or legit, just wait and you will see that the project is viable, that they aleready have a community behinde.
it would be so easy to use the habitual tricks to prove a project is legit, but here, the OP doesnt feel the need to do it because they are not little childs playing with their 0.01 buck !

why not put your questions to the devs. I'm sure they have an answer to your website question.
Because i don't believe devs anymore, i better like to wait and see the outcome, i am not looking to make profit on Altcoins, but i want to use the new features they offer.

I am not interested in the price of coins, it doesn't reflects the acceptance level of a coin nor the projects health, it is just the result of traders playing with the price.
1013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Moment of silence for Ethereum please.... on: December 19, 2016, 11:22:41 AM
Let me tell you i don't believe at all in the Eth or ETC projects.
First, i still don't know who is managing these projects, nor why they decided to split, and i don't care about knowing.
Second, it is far from been user friendly, so much tutorials for so much useless things.
Third, why the hell they use Solidity language ? can't they just use javascript as it is so close to ?
Fourth, these currencies are highly over estimated, for what ? what do they bring new ? a load of useless code ?
Fifth, Again not user friendly, you must be a certified dev, or having a lot of time to kill in order to understand how it works, and even when you know how, you have nothing to do with it, sit is a waste of time.

What do they mean with smart contract, and please don't give a 99 lines long explanation, by the way i don't care about a "Greeter", any noobish dev can do it with any language.

they didn't split up just so you know. You gotta learn more about the project before you criticize them. They're worth a lot than the rest that tries to go up even today.

you gotta learn about them else no one will also be interested to yours which is this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1542256.0
I assisted to the born of ethereum, i talked to genoil about how the mining will happen once they go POS, after this i saw that they splited, and yes they "split", so basically now it is a POW/POS blockchain, i don't want to go too deeply in details as i talked to the ETH devs too, they are too proud about solidity, but it is just bull-shit in my eyes, they complicated a wonderfull language for nothing, they complicated the whole project.
Ethereum = Complicate
Try to do a simple thing with eth, it is impossible, you have to be a certified dev for this with all the technical details around it.
I also used to mine eth on dwarfPool, i don't care about it now because it is unstable, it is not a matter of price, but all about "solidity" not the language, but the project Smiley

no place for morality in crypto!

How much have YOU lost on Mt. Gox, Mintpal, Cryptsy, McxNOW.. or the others who were "hacked" before ?

NO MORALITY !!!!1111

But plenty of crying Troll / FUD right ?

Ever seen the scam section here ?
Or the market section + Paypal's TOS ?

Oh and ..Is that better nemgun ? Wink  Grin
Hah Cheesy for sure, i can read the full post, every single word, great ! Cheesy

People read into what i say a lot.. i had no desire to ban being greedy.
I simply pointed out the carrot & the stick and how i heard of an older user that had a revolutionary idea.
kelsey did not elaborate though.
So I wonder if there is a better motivator than getting a block and receiving coins.

Humanity does not HAVE to be designed deliberately to run pandering to the greedy.
If that is what our species has evolved into then we got far bigger problems than currency shit.

Shelby you said before a good project can't be done with-out a million in cash up front to pay for dev's.
Your attitude is already well known..
I disagree of course.. plenty of people are willing to work their ass off for nothing.
Purely out of principle or maybe even boredom LOL

The key point i think is this bullshit is catering to the greedy on purpose.
Of all the people out there it's the fucking worthless little pieces of shit you are bending over backwards to attract to this crap.

Such as Ransomware makers who just fucking love Bitcoin  Cheesy
Or the old school pro scammers from the financial world that thought hey we can manipulate block chains for profit.. pump then dump ring a bell ?

You all talk a lot of shit but won't put your money where your mouth is.
Shelby i seen you posting a lot of Steem links before.... why ?
It's a rigged scammy scheme coin.. something any sensible person with a shred of integrity would not go near.

Infinity i repeat.. profit is not bad.
Profit from a scam is !
Don't merge the two and defend it.

And by the way don't forget we are operating (in) a mostly lawless environment with this stuff.
People are right now getting away with shit that would get them jail time in the traditional stock markets.
Want to defend that ?
Fine..
Just makes sure you abolish all laws and regulations related to the financial world while you are it.
You can't have it both ways guys..

And spare me the "exception" retort ..heard it before.
Just because a law *CAN* be broken does not mean we should drop the law all together.
So why should we have no laws in crypto then cater to greedy dick heads willing to show up here to spend FIAT --> BTC --> on anything they can profit from ?
Why are we deliberately doing this then defending it.. all year round for close to 8 years now.

So tell me profiteers hows that shitty mentality workin' out for ya ?
Rich yet ? Got yer Lambo'z ? ..oh you DID make a fuckton of moeny ? Weeeell congrats to you then..
Is that "Currency" adopted yet ?

I love your posts, but they so damn long to read  Grin
I am still for a messaging system based on blockchain tech, or database managed by blockchain, or content protection storage and management by blockchain, but using non minable nor stakable blockchain.
People are so much greedy, look at the recent scam coins released on the forum, they are all the same, i wonder if it is not the same guy who is releasing them using different accounts.

If you're looking to learn basic beginner web programming and bitcoin at the same time.
I have created some introductory bitcoin web tutorials for beginners focusing on JavaScript.
http://coinables.github.io/

Here's more that are good for PHP beginners.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=990348.0

I've also just started on a Bitcoin NodeJS series on my YouTube channel.
https://www.youtube.com/user/m1xolyd1an/videos

This guy is awesome, follow him, he made so much videos to show people how to use bitcoin and accept it in their website.
I thought you left the forum.
1019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Ixcoin dies then Bitcoin is also doomed on: December 18, 2016, 02:55:04 PM
This is total nonsense. Who cares about some unrelated altcoin that works under a different blockchain? it's not bitcoin, that altcoin can go and die, so what, bitcoin is growing and making great gains for holders, we are about to see the best year on bitcoin ever, 2017 will be glorious, altcoin fudsting is veyr noneffective. It's just sad to see all those shills pumping coins while claiming how bitcoin is doomed.

Hmm,

The people that believe their Alt is better & more sustainable than BTC.  Wink

BTC is a crap coin , it is old & slow, and having an internal power struggle between the BTC core (LN=Bankers) and the Chinese Miners.

Make no mistake , this year BTC price is nothing more than a pump , the dump comes in 2017.

BTC reached it's peak in Nov 2013 of ~ $1275, so technically it has been and still is a LOSER from over 3 years.  Wink

 Cool

This makes non sence to me, yes there is a struggle, yes the transaction speed is slow, but i don't think thant bitcoin will drop mainly because of the increasing acceptance, at a moment they will be forced to work together in order to either maintain the price, any way, they will solve the struggle, and the dump you are talking about can't really happen unless miners decides to stop mining. Even in this case, Altcoins will fill the space left by Bitcoin, there are a lot of users here supporting them, the scam coins can be easily identified, so as legit coins, it will be up to the end-users to decide.
1020  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What do you security test/monitor your site with? on: December 18, 2016, 02:44:48 PM
I mean Kali-linux, it is a complete OS made for security testing, full of several softwares (open source and paid) who lets you audit your website, but it is reserved only to experienced users, you may also use it to learn but it will be difficult, even if there is a lot of tutorials on the web. The thing is that you have so much possibilities that you don't really from where you should start, you can test for DOS MIM SQLI BF ... it is a complete set, and i better like to use rather then pay for a useless or incomplete tool.
