1106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would it be fair to say no one actually uses any of these alts... on: November 25, 2016, 01:10:48 PM
I honestly don't believe anyone actually uses any of these alt coins. Covals main focus is instead of hype to get real usage and admittedly that usage is zero so far. So seriously is anyone actually using any of these platforms. I highly doubt it which means the whole thing is bullshit speculation and likely to crash.

You know it is hard to create a project and make it run from scratch, people ask bitcointalk to crowdfund their project to raise a minimal amount of money to be able to complete the developement of projects. The problem here is that a lot of devs decided to use this opportunity to create Scam coins, scam projects, thus breaking the confidence between Devs and investors ( everyone in bitcointalk is an investor ). This is why a lot of crowd funding platforms are rising ( waves, rise, lisk ).
The main concern for altcoins is to find a way to be used, this is why they all die at 1 sat price, with 0 buy orders. Devs shall first ensure their coin will be used before releasing the wallets or ICO. Now there are a lot of possibilities for these coins to be used. So early merchant integration is mandatory for a coin who wants to exist in the long run.
1107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO] BetBase SHARES | Invest in Bitcoin gambling on: November 25, 2016, 12:36:28 PM
Very interesting project, there are so much casinos with bitcoin integration. I would like to ask the Devs if there are conditions for casinos to join, you know, there are also a lot of crappy casinos out there and i think that it would be good for you to do some limitations, because you can quickly turn to a " shit " casino listing API.
1108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [Ann] The start of the "Curtly" developer club on: November 25, 2016, 12:17:41 PM
It is simple to become a club membership.
Please transfer monthly 0.1 BTC to this btc account: 1CurtLY5ApXFyahAhnPLUVZ8QTkTzpf7Go

I transfered my first monthly membership fee also - you can see my btc address. I will use this btc address in communication, only if needed.
I sent a little amount from this fee back to my btc address - to check, I have access to this account really.

If you paying the membersip fee well: you will be a member. If not - you will fall out.
To check the membership, we will use UTC. You need to have in all month one, in this month confirmed btc transaction with an amount reached the membership fee - and you remain a member.
If you pays in more transactions, and no one reach the membership fee, or the confirmation of this transactions happens not in the month - you will lose your membership. Your payment will be taken as a simple support. Thanks in advance.
You can join to the club up to the end of this year (2016).

I will wait - and I will made no more post in this thread or publish on other place information up to we have at least 100 members. Be patient.

If the club didn't reach the size of 100 member - I will decide to do something or not.
No coins will be returned - I will take it as a support for this idea.

Let our community to grow Smiley

I won't say this is a new scam, because I don't want to ruin someone's “Dream” but I think that everyone here will agree to say that it looks scamish, not because of the project itself, but because of the 0.1BTC fee. Personally i never heard of an Altcoin project who requests payment to enlist, plus, if you enlist, it is to be part of the development team, now I don't think that any Dev will do this because most of the Devs here are poor (sorry guys :\). This is why they all have at least 1Altcoinn. This post is like 100xbits.com and other hypes like this, once you send money there, you are 100% sure to never see them again. Keeping silent won't help you out at all, you should talk to people, explain more things about your project, give the address to an escrow, communicate about roadmap, expectations, projection during the next few years ... Until then, I don't think that you will attract anyone there.

1114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ROUND (ICO OVER 100 BTC RAISED) - Decentralized eSports Platform on: November 23, 2016, 08:49:34 AM
Amazing, really, i am a Dota 2 player, and frankly i was waiting for such project since a long time. It will really drive a lot of people to it, this is what the e-sport community needs !
I am also curious about the features who will be implemented, i will try it as soon as it is available.
Godd job guys Cheesy
So, you are sitting on this forum, you are a dota fan and... you did not hear about FirsBlood? Strange. But you are so happy with this project.
and here I see a lot of guys who tell the same - that they wait such coin for a long time. For what is problem - FirstBlood was released some months ago. Why are you so glad to see almost copy-past coin (I mean idea).

Never heard about FirstBlood, but i know FACEIT, and it is a big hole ( to be gentle )
Really, i am sure that this platform will bring more benefits than the actual scamish services available in the web.
Just a question for the DevTeam, regarding Dota2, had you thought about separating east europe from west europe ? because frankly i played with both, and east europe are big noobs, cheaters, and messy players. Some people on valve are thinking to separate them definitly.

IMPORTANT

To everyone with synced wallet: go to the console and type:

Code:
getblockhash 661233

If you will see a different value than:
Code:
8a30b973f8a48141ea68077e980c96f0d940dcb07aa8e68857aad0c37deaf06a

means you are on the fork which will be orphaned with new update. Disable staking (or just shut down your wallet) and wait for an update (soon).

Block explorer and 90% of nodes (including Bittrex) are on the right chain.

!!! omg
