141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Androids Tokens v2.0 [Proof of Stake] HARDFORK at block 100,000 ! on: July 21, 2014, 05:29:22 AM
let us know how the update goes it seems to work for me except I get no connections anymore.

Wallet sync and staking.  Closed down the wallet and was able to sync again on opening.  Only three connections though so will have to see how it goes with the staking.  So far so good...

-tb-

I believe there was some mention of fixing a bug that caused the wallet to try to stake in the middle of syncing, but try this in your conf anyway:

reservebalance=999999999

Or cmdline:  -reservebalance=999999999

This will reserve 999999999 ADT, to NOT stake, so unless your balance is higher than this it will effectively disable staking.

Once synced, you can re-enable staking by entering reservebalance false into the debug console.
Fixed that by adding in collususcoin's fix Wink

happiness was short lived nearly synced up and now out of sync again. No connections.

well the wallet has finally been synced after months with just a tiny amount still in stake but so far the best result I've seen for a very long time. Lets wait and see how it behaves in the next couple of day. Cheers

Sounds good Smiley

Got it,

Absolutely right about needing a dev team here, keeping current seems important.  Would say the lead position is open, but have no idea what the foundation is doing, several of you here sure could have my vote.  Will help if I can too...
I'd be willing to help sadly Myriadcoin is my priority atm aswell as helping out various other coins who wish to add merged mining. Due to that it means i will help IXC just not enough for a lead roll

I0Coin has been updated to 0.8.6 and so has IXCoin what i was saying was the reason I0Coin is now quite easy to update is rsnel pulls in updates from BTC in small batches a version at a time and applied it to I0C to upgrade it. The IXC dev should be doing the same as it should reduce the work needed to bring IXC to as close to inline with BTC as possible

I've been having trouble getting hold of a windows compiler that will do it for free as all of mine are away or busy
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ixcoin TODO on: July 20, 2014, 06:27:34 PM
honestly I am not familiar with where i0 coins development is right now although I have a few i0 coins laying around

If i0 is current with btc then it would be a much easier job to update iX to the 9.2 client.

I am not the person who is working on that so my comments were my own thoughts on how I would have to approach it.

The only differences  really from i0 and ix i know of are the difficulty retarget system, magic number value, block spacing, reward system ect.....

iX seems to be much more in use and traded/mined ect..... higher difficulty too last time I checked

i0 is more current with BTC than any other merge mined coin correct. So thats why i think that should be used.  It would also make upgrading to the 9.2 client the easiest

i0coin was used as a baseline for the latest iXcoin client.  Both wallets are at v0.8.6.  I haven't seen v0.9.2 yet.  i0coin dev site still shows 0.8.6-1 as lastest http://i0coin.snel.it/

yeah im aware of that. (im using that client myself on my merged mining pool) That just means theres no reason for it being hard to upgrade to v0.9.2 by following the bitcoin versions from 0.8.6 ti 0.9.2

if nmc, dev or i0 coin have not updated to 9.2 it is no copy and paste job with just a change in the magic numbers,
the aux pow has to be rewritten , certainly would be a challenge , i was looking over 9.2 and built it last weekend, many things have changed in btc and the current source of iX does not use the chainparams.h and chainparams.cpp style so its a big step.

When cinnamon talks about 'aux pow' she's talking about merged mining.  All the merge mined coins had their Proof of Work algorithm changed to share mining info with Bitcoin.  Since POW algorithms are the core of the security scheme you need to get it right.

I disagree cinnamon. Why Not use The I0Coin v8.* branch fork it to support IXCoin and then regularly pull in BTC's updates from their repo. That is exactly what rsnel has been doing on I0Coin and if it works for them there is little reason for it not working for IXCoin

Seriously? Try doing a DNS query on the old dns names. they'll come up empty

Wow. I'm sorry. It IS the same IP.

And the stats ARE there, for all to see. (To answer your question "Where the fuck do you expect me to get uptime stats from?)

So now I must conclude that you haven't got a clue either . . . to add to pathological liar and fraud.

Everyone can see with their own eyes how the server abruptly shut down on the 14th and payouts did the same.

You know, you could just fess up to your mistake and incompetence . . . it will be interesting to see if we get payouts once you have new miners hashing again . . .

saving P2Pool Consortium Pool (LTC) - Graphs.htm to local drive

I dont want any new miners if theyre remotely like you. The server did not shut down. Like people such as Muzzargh have pointed out the p2pool get's killed regularly as its a memory hog and i restart it when i get told.

I'm done. not wasting my time when the facts are as bright as day. Anyone who wishes to have a constructive discussion with me regarding the P2Pool can contact me on IRC.

Where the fuck do you expect me to get uptime stats from?

From all those miners who are still "pointed to the old DNS names".

For anyone else. If you seem to think HR is right. watch those links. the node uptime will rise but the hashrate likely wont. people arent mining on it because theyre pointed to the old DNS names

Remember?

BTW, that's the IP you need to post to show you aren't lying again (not the IP for the new nodes).

You really are a gem.

are you a retard? It was the DNS Names that changed. the IP address's are the same as they always were (facepalm)

what the fuck are you smoking boy ? you got 20 people looking at ahmed's feedback page and wondering if they've gone blind/insane, that feedback comment DOES NOT EXIST WHAT THE SHIT ARE YOU READING ?
its under untrusted feedback. and that was a retaliation feedback. i left e.exchangers neg feedback for talking shit about me and the rest of CryptoRepairCrew when we've probably worked on more coins than 50% of shitcoin creators around. We created ADTv2 under a 5BTC Bounty. Things we're tested and approved by zack and mullick. and then when it broke we were made to take the blame when we never offered a warranty although a month+ had passed since we had made it. Even still a few days ago since e.exchangers hadnt fixed it and the community had paid him i grabbed my copy of the source. added some fixes and then sent out the link to the source.

Ahmed

@HR. you smokin something? The node uptime shows how long its been up.... And no there isnt no payouts missing because the node was always up. Dont expect nothing from me

Zero hashrate = zero

Can you change your date and hour after you start up. Duh.

Again, zero hashrate = zero. Just like you. A zero.

You can call me a troll, or whatever you like, but the very fact that you are unable to address the issue itself and that you have been clearly shown to have been misleading at best (your quote on reddit being the most blatant) means that anything you say isn't worth the bar napkin it's written on.

Call me what you like, it doesn't matter, it means nothing. On the other hand, I have shown you to be a fraud (and your friends to be friendly to frauds).

Say as you please. Welcome to my ignore list.

For anyone else. If you seem to think HR is right. watch those links. the node uptime will rise but the hashrate likely wont. people arent mining on it because theyre pointed to the old DNS names
