1541  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: July 20, 2016, 06:29:57 PM
I think time will come when bitcoin will really affect the bank transactions like the revenue will be significantly lesser then that's the time they will think of ways to control it. It can affect the economy because the country may lose its potential investors. As for our country, they are getting strict in bitcoin transactions because upon registration for a wallet, they will ask for verification like identification card. They do this in order to comply with Anti-Money Laundering Policy.
1542  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: why people love bitcoins? on: July 20, 2016, 06:06:52 PM
For me, I love bitcoin because it is money and its value is changing so it is a potential investment. I can use it to pay the bills and there is a rebate if I use bitcoin as payment. It is secure because of its technology and features. I can access my wallet wherever I am and its available 24/7. I can use it in trading even though I only have a small capital.
1543  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Money and people on: July 20, 2016, 10:59:31 AM
If people will be given the same amount of money, some will protest because they will think they deserve more. For example, the government will give same amount to people who work hard to earn money and others who just begged to have money. Of course the hard working ones will protest because they contributed more to the society than the ones who just begged.
1544  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: July 19, 2016, 10:40:13 AM
Of course the strategy would be to "buy low, sell high" but the question is when can you know if the price is already low to buy or high enough to sell. The answer is you can't. No one knows the future so the only thing you can do is to trust your instincts and research. Study the pair you are trading and its movements. You can also try the technical analysis to confirm your speculation. As for me, I use bollinger bands and fibonacci chart to estimate when to buy and sell.
1545  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: July 19, 2016, 07:37:12 AM
In this world full of scammers, loans are too risky if you don't have security to protect what you own. If you want to loan someone, just make sure that you have collateral in case the borrower will default so that you can still get back the amount he owed to you. Just make sure that you will have a background check to the borrower if he can really be trusted especially if the amount he would like to borrow is significant.
1546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What you always do after you lose in Gambling? on: July 19, 2016, 05:46:41 AM
For me, it really depends on the amount that I gamble. If it's just a small amount then I deposit again hoping that in the next time, I would be able to win back the amount that I lose but most of the time I lose it again and then I stop and would gamble again the next day if I have enough gambling money. When I lose a big amount, I would be very down after I lost it then it will take days before I came back to the gambling site and then if I have enough money, I gamble again hoping against hope that I can win back what I lose.
1547  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: July 18, 2016, 07:14:58 PM
I can have Bitcoin instead of cash because we are now in the information age wherein most of the transactions are online. Having a digital currency is very convenient because transactions are processed immediately without having the need to queue like paying the bills. Using bitcoin is being efficient because with just one click you are finish with the transaction while in using cash to pay the bills, it is time consuming like going to the billing center, transportation time to go there and queuing. Secondly, the potential of bitcoin value to increase over time while holding it is an advantage over cash because if you have $10 in your pocket, its value will always be $10 no matter how many years will pass while with bitcoin I believe its value will increase due to the law of supply and demand. Thirdly, cash can be stolen easily while bitcoin is not because it has no physical form and it has security features.

1549  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you like to pay bills using bitcoins while staying at home? on: July 17, 2016, 11:02:16 AM
It would be very convenient to just stay at home paying the bills and save a lot of time. It would be beneficial that the time you spent traveling, queuing and waiting for your turn when you go to certain offices to pay the bills will be spent in other things that can help you in achieving your other goals. Aside from that, some companies offer rebates when you pay using bitcoins.
1550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of the world is MULTIPLE crypto currencies not just BTC on: July 17, 2016, 10:52:13 AM
I also believed that this will be the future. There will be multiple crypto currencies. If in fiat there is USD,EUR,GBP,JPY,CNH and other currencies, in the crypto currency, there will be its own version and I think time will come when countries will adopt what will be its national crypto currency. BTC will be like the USD.
1551  Local / Pilipinas / Re: HYIP vs TRADiNG on: July 16, 2016, 09:21:43 AM
1552  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin dropped to $1, what you do? on: July 16, 2016, 08:23:52 AM
I will buy more if there is no problem to its technicalities but the price drop is just due to the nature of supply and demand. I will buy as much as I can because surely the price will go up again in the future but then maybe I will not be able to buy that much because people who have funds will buy any bitcoin available in the market.
1553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: July 16, 2016, 08:18:01 AM
I would say that because of its anonymity, bitcoin can be used in illegal activities. The regulatory bodies are strict in checking the transactions if it involves money laundering and the like in banks and other exchanges and they can easily trace the   people in that particular transaction but in bitcoin, they will only know the address not the people involved so I think criminals will prefer to use bitcoin.
1554  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: July 13, 2016, 12:23:26 PM
I would choose gold because it has already made its mark. It is stable and established. It's been here for centuries and it has a physical form. We may be in the information age now and we have high technology but still we can't deny the fact that gold is a precious metal and its value will increase eventually because of its usefulness.
1555  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: July 13, 2016, 11:53:50 AM
In my opinion, bitcoin cannot replace fiat because of the technology itself. There are still so many people not updated with high technology and even some having no electricity yet. How can they use it if they don't even know about it. And it's hard to replace something that people are used to. But still we will never know what the future holds.
1556  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: July 13, 2016, 08:21:46 AM
I earn a small amount for living with bitcoin from trading. Bigger volumes can play with in Bitcoin the bigger the rewards can be when trading is active. Right now am focusing on doing Bitcoin full time. Just got a few more things to pay off and get settled and then to quit my full time job. Take enough money from my work to put into Bitcoin and live off it working my own hours and being my own boss. Work life is crap and had enough of being bossed around time to change things for 2016 to get all things settled up and paid off and get back on track for early retirement and plenty of trips round the world.

This is my goal also. To quit my job and be my own boss. Currently I am trading but my trading capital is small as of now.Hopefully in the next few months or years, when I earned enough profit then I can really say that I am earning a living with bitcoin. But then it would be much better if I also have other investments so that I  will have multiple streams of income.
1557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is bitcoin most important to you? on: July 13, 2016, 08:02:12 AM
The first one for me is speculation. I use bitcoin in trading hoping that when I profit and gained significant amount then I can use it as payment mechanism to my family and friends. If I have enough capital for trading then I will store some bitcoins because in time the value of it will go up due to the law of supply and demand.
1558  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Pokemon GO on: July 13, 2016, 07:09:53 AM
Para sa mga taong nakaupo lang halos buong araw. Magandang exercise ito kasi mapipilitan ka talagang maglakad para makahuli ng pokemon. Paborito kong palabas ito noon at favorite kong character ay si pikachu! Gotta catch 'em all! Pokemon! Grin Grin Grin
1559  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to manage money? on: July 13, 2016, 05:33:08 AM
I think the best way to manage money is to have a budget. As for me, I have a budget each month for my should be expenses and as much as possible I spend only what is allotted in the budget or less. I have a record of all my expenses in my excel file so that I can monitor my spending everyday. But before anything else, I pay myself first which means I save first when I received my salary and then allocate the remaining amount to my should be expenses. Through this way, I am sure that I can save every time I received my salary. It should be savings first then expenses not expenses first before savings because more often than not, there will be nothing left for savings because I will be spending more than what I am supposed to.
1560  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Let's talk about Gambling on: July 12, 2016, 12:35:37 PM
