1261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Satoshi reveals himself, what would be of Bitcoin? on: September 24, 2016, 08:36:16 AM
It would likely depend as to who he is and if he has previous records in the government if any wrongdoing or whatnot. I'm sure many will try to get hold of him as he is someone who created an innovative technology that affects the flow of money in the economy and challenges the fiat currency with the digital currency. I think there would be a fluctuation of price when he appears and then after a few days it would be back to normal.
1262  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How do you store your fiat currency? on: September 23, 2016, 05:24:36 AM
I store my fiat currency in a bank. It's not that much but at least I earn an interest and it's better to store money there than put it in my house with the risk of being stolen or being spent to my wants not needs. I have two bank accounts for now and planning to add one that has no ATM card and for emergency cases only. For now, my earnings are just enough for day to day needs but time will come when I have extra and then put it there as an emergency fund.

When and how you Got your First Dollar in Bitcoins???

I got my first dollar through faucets. I joined a PTC site and while viewing the advertisements last April 2016, an advertisement about bitcoin appeared and then I got curious with it and then I discovered that I can earn it for free. I was fascinated with it and then learned that its not that much that they are giving for free of course but nevertheless its free so I grab the opportunity. I did some further research about it and then knew that there's much more ways to earn bitcoin so here I am in this site now earning bitcoin.
1264  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many people here don't really care about BTC? on: September 23, 2016, 05:12:13 AM
I'm pretty sure 99.9% of Bitcoiners only care about making money from Bitcoin not that there is anything wrong with that. I mean let's face it, if Bitcoin were to disappear this instant, everyone would just carry on with their lives as normal. I see a lot of people saying that they 'care' about Bitcoin, please do explain what you mean by that, care how?

I'm in here for the money too and honestly, I don't care that much about all the dramas on bitcoin but as long as it make me money then I'm happy with it. I agree that when bitcoin disappear in an instant then I will just move on with my life because I just treat as another investment and just like any other investment some fails and some succeeds.
1265  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you like to receive your salary in BTC? on: September 21, 2016, 11:46:03 AM
If you are a BTC lover, would you one day like to get your paycheck 100% in BTC?

Personally I won't. Because many facilities in my area doesn't support BTC payment. Smiley I do not mind receiving, say, 20% of my pay in BTC denomination.

For now, I will not accept yet bitcoin as my salary because it's not that stable and what's the use of accepting bitcoin as payment when my daily needs are payable in fiat not in bitcoin. If I accept bitcoin then I still need to convert to fiat because I can't use bitcoin for payment. I still have to pay additional fees also for the conversion also.Maybe when I can directly buy my needs with bitcoin then I would accept bitcoin as salary.
1266  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: September 21, 2016, 10:27:01 AM
I do not know it they  will be worth much more soon,  as some people say. But given the  current economic scenario, it is  good to have some.

Given the current status of the economy,it's good to have an additional income due to rising prices and inflation and I saw that one of the ways to earn is through bitcoin. I am buying bitcoin because I believe that it would be much more valuable in the few years to come than what it is today. I am accumulating bitcoin as much as possible without the need of buying it like altcoin trading. Day by day I earn some satoshis and then when the price go up high then I would be able to profit from it.
1267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do people around you think about Bitcoin ? on: September 21, 2016, 10:14:20 AM
Unfortunately, only a few people around me who know bitcoin. they do not really believe in online payment system like bitcoin. huft

Well that is a major issue with people, they don't want to try something new as they always feel that they will loose their money and prefer to continue with credit card and fiat currency.

I agree that some people has little or no trust at all in something new because they think that its just a scam. When they heard something that someone is making money through this and that they will think that later on they will lose their money because its a big scam. This is also the effect of their previous experience or with their family and friends investing in an online site and they have bad experience with it plus the one they see and heard in the news which are not good at all. So for me, I will only introduce bitcoin to someone if I'm already earning enough that I can show them that bitcoin is not a scam at all. They just have to be open minded about it.
1268  Economy / Economics / Re: Selling Bitcoins more than double of the price? :O on: September 20, 2016, 04:53:44 PM
Okey guys, so I wanted to buy some bitcoins (0.01 to be precise XD) with my MasterCard and I ended up in a weird place!

Look at the price per Bitcoin :

So this Is a huge opportunity for income right? can I do this too? How IS IT EVEN POSSIBLE? :O

Well anyone has the right to sell his bitcoins with his own price but double the price is just too much. I don't even think someone will buy from him because there are also other sites out there who were willing to sell bitcoin and not that much high. If he can sell then lucky for him but there are other sites out there offering lower amount and even some for the current market price.
1269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Now Officially Money! on: September 20, 2016, 04:47:54 PM
"Bitcoin qualifies as money, a federal judge ruled on Monday"

Source: http://www.reuters.com/article/us-jpmorgan-cyber-bitcoin-idUSKCN11P2DE

This is good news because it means that bitcoin is making progress and it is slowly making a name in the financial sector. Later on,many people will see its value and its advantages compared to banks and then slowly they will adopt bitcoin which means a higher demand. Because bitcoin is only limited it would mean lower supply and higher demand which can lead to higher price and the early adopters of bitcoin will celebrate because they were able to get in when its not that popular yet.
1270  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why very little campaign for newbie? on: September 19, 2016, 08:44:16 AM
I think because there is a possibility that whenever a newbie joins the forum and then immediately join the signature campaign, there is a possibility that he did not read all of the rules and what he wanted is just to earn so he will just post and post not minding the post quality. In effect, there might be spamming just to increase his post count. The signature of the newbie is also minimal and cannot even have a link so it would be a disadvantage to the advertiser.
1271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Running a exchange is a very active job on: September 19, 2016, 08:36:53 AM
i think that running a exchange is a very active job... i believe that the owner of Yobit , c cex , bitrex is spending the whole day on his exchange

Maybe when the exchange is just starting, he will have to be there as long as he can so that he can address the issues immediately and find solutions to problems. I believe it does not happen only to exchanges but to all companies as well who are just starting up but later on when the business is running smoothly then he can be there maybe just a few hours just to check the operations and then let his employees run the business with less supervision.
1272  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: September 18, 2016, 06:24:07 AM
i had about $200 worth of bitcoin.
How can i earn more with that amount?
should I trading? or make an investment?
and please give me some trusted site to investing my wealth.

**i dont want to give a loan, or else.**

if you had some advice, feel free to tell me.
really apreciate it.
thank you.

I would suggest trading if you already know how it works and you have the strategy that works for you and then you already have experience of doing it because in trading your earning potential is really unlimited especially if you know how to do it and as for the loses, you can manage it. If you have no background in trading yet then you can try demo first and have a mentor if possible to truly understand it and then of you feel that you already grasp it then you can start doing it live.

As for investing, its really an advantage if you don't have that much time to spare and as long as the company has already a reputation of being trustworthy and paying then you can invest in it. As long as it is not HYIP because HYIP sites will just pay you at the beginning but later on when they accumulated enough then they will just disappear out of the blue with your hard earned money.
1273  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I believe in Bitcoin ? on: September 18, 2016, 06:10:44 AM
If you can see the track record of bitcoin then you can judge it for yourself that you should believe in it. Being valued for almost nothing before and then after a decade its value is a thousand times higher then you should really believe in it because increase in price means that people are buying and earning from it so you should too. The fact that day to day more businesses are accepting bitcoin as a payment option means that bitcoin has value and will continue to exist for a long time.
1274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: September 18, 2016, 06:05:03 AM
I think not because banks will always find a way in order to continue their existence. If they see bitcoin as a threat to them then they will modify and innovate to compete with bitcoin and in fact they are already studying and doing something to compete the technology of bitcoin and then applying it to them. Another thing is that fiat will continue to exist so as long as there is fiat then there will always be banks.
1275  Other / Off-topic / Re: What value does Bitcoin bring to you? on: September 18, 2016, 05:58:30 AM
It allows me to earn extra income online and instead of just watching movies and television during my free time then I can use it productively by trading or posting here and then in return I'm earning which can help me in achieving my goals. They said that we should not put our eggs in one basket so investing in bitcoin also is one way of diversifying my portfolio aside from investing in stocks, mutual funds and traditional business. Bitcoin also allows me to store money without the need to go to banks and I can separate my funds according to its usage and the good thing is that I can make it in just minutes unlike banks which can take a few days sometimes to open an account.
1276  Other / Off-topic / Re: how many people do you think knows about bitcoin in your community? on: September 18, 2016, 05:48:43 AM
Honestly, I only know two of us who uses bitcoin. My friend who introduce me to it and then me. I didn't even bother to introduce it to my other friends because I would like to succeed on it first earning enough to show them that it really works and then I would introduce it to them. They are busy with their work right now and so am I but I think they will only engage in something if they know that its worth their time and I'm the one who always like something new looking for an opportunity so unless I can show it to them that they can earn from it then that's the time I will tell them about it.
1277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What bitcoin related businesses do you own? on: September 17, 2016, 10:11:46 AM
For now, I don't have any bitcoin related businesses yet but I'm planning of purchasing mobile points in exchange of bitcoin in the near future. In our country, mobile points are very useful in purchasing something or recharging your phone without the need to buy. I plan to buy this points because there are people who just let their points expire because they have no use of it so in this way it's a win win situation because they can encash their points and for me I will buy their points at a discount and I can also just collect points from my relatives for free because they have no use of it and I will sell it at a premium.
1278  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Your Money or Your Life on: September 15, 2016, 04:40:59 PM
Those were corrupt people which always turns out to be public officials, government personnel.  They already have there salary but it seems like we akways owe them with simple things they make to us.

I love my life and would just let them take my money but I will make sure that they will learn something from me.

It's sad that instead of serving the people, they will use their positions instead to get money from people. That's why election is so important for some politicians because by having power over the public, they can use it to protect themselves in case people will discover their wrongdoings. Corruption cannot really be prevented especially if they see that others are doing it and getting away with it without being caught because their superiors are also doing it. They are already earning and it's not just enough because of their greediness so they are making ways to get more from people who have no power because they knew that powerless can't fight them back so they are taking advantage of their positions. For those powerless people, they will just choose to have their money being taken than to exchange it with their life or their loved ones.
1279  Other / Archival / Re: What would you say to people who advice you to sell all your bitcoin? on: September 15, 2016, 04:23:07 PM
I've seen many people around bitcoiner who keep say/advice them to sell their bitcoin because various reason such as "sell before the price fall", "turn it into real money", "don't be fooled with that scam", "it's illegal to have/use bitcoin" or other reasons.
So, what would you say to people who advice you to sell all your bitcoin?

I would tell them that I would just hold my coin because it has been tried and hacked that causes the price to fall down but then after some time its back on track again continuously going up so I believe that it will go up high int the future. I don't worry that much if the price fall down because I plan to hold my coins for a long time and besides I am not also just solely holding it but use it in trading so that I can accumulate more coins. It's been getting popular also so its demand also will increase which can cause the price to increase.
1280  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where do Bitcointalk members invest besides cryptocurrencies? on: September 15, 2016, 04:07:28 PM
I invest in stocks. I just recently learn the potential of bitcoin and I believe that it is one of the investments that I should focus on. I already lost significant amount in other investments because it failed but now I gained hope again in bitcoin and believe that I can achieve my goals investing in cryptocurrencies. As for stocks, I started with it just three years ago but I don't really focus on it somehow because I've been more active in cryptocurrencies now. I am planning to invest in other investment vehicles like real estate and other commodities if I have enough funds to do so because it's important to have multiple source of income.
